Purdue partners with Aramark to manage West Lafayette retail dining

Purdue University and Aramark announced that they have entered into a retail dining operator agreement that will enhance dining offerings for
Purdue’s West Lafayette campus and community. The partnership comes after a collaborative Request for Proposals process including input
from students, faculty and staff. Aramark serves hundreds of educational institutions, sports teams and businesses around the world. Aramark
will operate 35 dining locations on the West Lafayette campus, including 11 locations in Purdue Memorial Union. Dining offerings will include
a mix of local, regional and national companies. One of the highlights of this new partnership will be a complete renovation for the ground floor
of PMU. The space will be transformed into the Purdue Marketplace, a world-class food hall with a variety of new dining concepts, including
Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, co-owned by Purdue alumnus Drew Brees.
Aspects of the new contract will include the following:
• Additional new dining options, including Jersey Mike’s, Panera Bread, Qdoba Mexican Eats, Saladworks and Firehouse Subs.

Hilton CleanStay, created in collaboration with Lysol and Dettol maker RB and Mayo Clinic, includes new procedures to help Hilton
guests enjoy an even cleaner and safer stay starting this summer. Hilton and RB have expanded this partnership to support the global
portfolio of hotels and the trusted RB family of products will be used in multiple markets around the world. Since the initial
announcement of the partnership, RB has worked with Hilton to deploy plans for global execution of Hilton CleanStay. In the United
States and Canada, Hilton CleanStay will be implemented using Lysol products and the program will be referred to as Hilton CleanStay
with Lysol protection. While Lysol and Dettol will be the most prominently used products in countries where Hilton has properties,
other RB brands will also be used, including Sagrotan in Germany and Napisan in Italy. The scientific expertise of RB is
second-to-none and the use of its products assures consumers around the world of a safer stay. According to recent findings of a study
published by the American Journal of Infection Control, the active ingredients in Dettol and Lysol are effective in breaking the chain of
infection of COVID-19.

Whitbread, the owner of the Premier Inn and hub by Premier Inn hotel brands, is re-starting construction of its
flagship Oxford Greyfriars Premier Inn this week as the UK’s largest hospitality business focuses on safely
continuing to build its pipeline of new hotels. The construction of the 90-bedroom hotel on Paradise Square in the
city was temporarily halted during the week commencing 23rd March following the introduction of the nationwide
lockdown due to corona virus.Over recent weeks, Whitbread’s development team has been working with Carter
Lauren, the principle building contractor for the Greyfriars Premier Inn, to put in place strict new on-site controls and
working practices to ensure social distancing and protect site workers and members of the public. The new measures,
put in place before workers return to site this week, are in line with the latest Construction Leadership Council and
Public Health England guidance.

Whitbread (UK) gets go-ahead to rebuild popular Bristol hotel

Whitbread, the owner of the Premier Inn hotel chain, has secured planning permission to rebuild the Cribbs Causeway Premier
Inn – bringing an improved hotel and restaurant back to the popular Bristol location. Following a fire at the site in July 2019,
the previous 177-bedroom hotel and restaurant was severely fire damaged. The granting of planning permission by South
Gloucestershire Council will allow Whitbread to clear the site and build a new and improved Premier Inn hotel and restaurant.
The new hotel design will follow the same ‘U shaped’ building footprint as the previous hotel but with a simpler and more up to
date design style. Whitbread has added six additional hotel bedrooms to the plans, to create a 183-bedroom hotel, and the
section of the building facing onto Cribbs Causeway has been raised by a storey to accommodate an undercroft car parking
area. A 150-cover restaurant and meeting rooms, which were well-used at the previous hotel, are also included in the designs
and will be available for residents and guests to use. Premier Inn has successfully operated a hotel at Cribbs Causeway for over
15 years. The hotel is extremely popular, operating at an above average occupancy rate and regularly being full, and Whitbread
expects the high-level of demand to continue once the new hotel is open.

Hilton announced that all of its hotels in Chinese Mainland have officially resumed operations. As Hilton welcomes guests back
with its hospitality, each hotel has implemented strict anti-epidemic measures to ensure the health and safety of guests and
Team Members. Hilton has also made adjustments to policies and operations in order to meet the needs of guests, owners, and
the community at large during this time. From the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in China, Hilton worked quickly to respond
to the challenges brought by the epidemic. At the operational level, Hilton implemented a comprehensive assessment and
management plan for hotels’ daily security protocols and operations:
• All employees of Hilton Group and its hotels are adhering to strict prevention efforts,
• Continue to strengthen the crisis response mechanism at the Group and hotel levels to ensure that all employees are aware of
the emergency response process
• Hilton hotels have strictly implemented the anti-epidemic requirements of the local governments and conducted temperature,
health code, and travel history registration checks for guests and employees entering the hotels
• Increased the frequency of cleaning in all public areas and adhered to the use of medical-grade disinfectants
• Enhanced training and education on employees concerning hygiene, not only through internal training but also by inviting
