Natural destruction is the matter of concern all over the world nowadays. Recent conference of World Health Organization on health concern from natural destruction was focusing on the causes made by the humans. Humans had a good relationship with nature before but with the modernization of humans, the relationship has been broken down. The nature is turning into the destruction by humans undoubtedly. So, humans are definitely always responsible for natural destruction because of unorganized urbanization, industrialization and greenhouse gases.
Humans are always responsible for natural destruction
1. Humans are always responsible for natural
destruction
Natural destruction is the matter of concern all over the world nowadays. Recent
conference of World Health Organization on health concern from natural destruction was
focusing on the causes made by the humans. Humans had a good relationship with nature before
but with the modernization of humans, the relationship has been broken down. The nature is
turning into the destruction by humans undoubtedly. So, humans are definitely always
responsible for natural destruction because of unorganized urbanization, industrialization and
greenhouse gases.
First of all, unplanned urbanization is a big cause for creating the negative changes in the
nature. The massive uses of natural resources for urbanization are creating the imbalance in
natural eco-system. Firstly with the era of modernization people are shifting to the urban areas
from the rural areas. Humans are bound to create more habitants than before because the growth
of population is so much high. Due to the huge population proper development plan for
urbanization is not working at all. After that unplanned urbanization is going on with huge use of
natural resources. Humans are destroying the agricultural lands, cutting down lots of trees,
destroying the forest lands for the urbanization. That is why our natural balance is falling down
and lots of species are losing their habitants. So, the numbers of many species are decreasing and
many of those are already demolished. This is creating significant negative effects on ecosystem.
According to Hunter (2007), all the plants and species should be taken into account because they
2. are interdependent in food production and for reproduction. For example, if we destroy the forest
it will create inhabitant for the animals. The number of animals will decrease and the food
production will fall and it will destructive for eco system. This is how massive use of natural
resources for the urbanization is destructive to nature.
After that, industrialization dramatically increased the production of goods which creating
the significant negative changes to the nature. It shifted the production from the home into
factories. Unfortunately, along with the negative changes in the nature the use of massive natural
resources like gas, fossil fuel, coal have far reaching consequences. Industries are emitting lots of
destructive chemicals into the nature. Those chemical are going into the river and polluting the
water continuously. Pollution of water is decreasing the fishes and all other species of water.it
also polluting the safe drinking water. According to population and natural resource center
(2002), polluted, unsafe water causes millions of deaths every year, particularly among infants
and young children. Again it pollutes the air by emitting dangerous gases. After that the use of
insecticides in the agricultural lands also killing lots of insects which are very important for our
ecosystem and also decreasing the fertility of the land which have far- reaching effects on the
nature. That is how the nature is losing its power and turning into destruction.
Finally, greenhouse gases are bringing the destruction in the nature. The whole natural
chain of our world is being affected and creating an imbalance of gases in the atmosphere.
According to Martinez (2000), excessive amount of greenhouse gases increased the ability to
trap the energy causing an increase in average global temperature which will have far- reaching
3. impacts on nature. Carbon dioxide is one of the main destructive gases among the greenhouse
gases. It is increasing from burning of fossil fuels and deforestation by the humans. Along with
the carbon dioxide the aerosol gases used in the body and air-freshener are breaking the particles
of the ozone layers of the atmosphere and already making a hole over Antarctica. So, the
ultraviolet rays and harmful gases are directly coming to our atmosphere creating the imbalance.
The abundance of those gases is leading to warming and cooling of the climate change. Again
according to Khan (2009), changes in natural process such as, solar changes and the volcanic
eruption during this era are the impacts from the human activities. That is how all of the
increases of gases are attributive to human activities and turning nature to destruction.
On the other hand dome people argue that nature is only responsible for natural changes
human are not responsible. For that from my perspective I think the argument is not so valuable
because nature has its own eco system and it is going with its own natural flow with balance. But
with the changes of time human are creating the effect on that ecosystem. We have survey that
human has lose their control over the population growth. So the demand of natural resources are
increasing and emitting more carbon di oxide than before. Again with the need of modernization
they are becoming technology orientated and losing the relationship with the nature. They are
destroying forests, using agricultural lands, using massive fossil fuels, natural gases, coals,
polluting the water and air much more than before which are causing the negative effects on
ecosystem and nature becoming the opposition of humans. For example, we can see that due to
the cutting down trees, industrialization and more population the carbon-di-oxide has increased
in the atmosphere and creating global warming which is melting the ices of the northern and
southern part of the world. This is raising the sea level water and emerging the lower part of the
world. According to United Nation conference (2010), the lower part of some countries like
4. Bangladesh will go under water between 2050. So, I believe that humans are obviously only
responsible for natural destruction.
To sum up all, I strongly believe that activates like unorganized urbanization, excessive
industrialization and massive use of CFC gases are causing the natural destruction. Nowadays
nature is behaving like an opposition of humans but they should go with the nature and keep it as
before was. To save our existence of humans in this earth they should have some control over
our negative activities to nature. They need to work on organizing the urbanization, be careful of
using CFC gases and most importantly plant more trees as much as they can. So, go green, live
green!
