Locating bass can sometimes prove to be a futile attempt leaving one to wonder, where did they all
go? During one such outing at Shakamak State Park located in Jasonville Indiana. I found myself

willing to take the bait. I had decided that the bass just were not in a feeding mood but I was. I eased

John a 42 year old Caucasian male and is Gunnery Sargent in the United States Marine Corps. He has
served for 18 years as a Motor Transport Maintenance Chief and has deployed five times. He and his
family, Mary, Dean, and Sam sought treatment about one year ago after John s company commander
mandated he attend counseling following a period of excessive drinking, poor work performance,
erratic behavior, and John having to be physically removed from on post housing by the Military
Police following an altercation with his son Dean in the front yard.
John has been deployed four times in the last eight years and on his last deployment, an Improvised
Explosive Device (IED) hit his convoy and only he and two other member of his unit survived the
attack. John was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress disorder, depression, and developed an alcohol
addiction. The family has returned because John has begun to experiences increased bouts of
depression and has started having panic attacks again. They fear he may begin drinking again and are
also worried about his violent streak resurfacing.
John has admitted that he has been depressed and has contemplated suicide in recent weeks following
an announcement from his Brigade Commander that they will be starting 6 month rotations to
Afghanistan. John s name is not on the first three rotations, but it is on the fourth and the unit has been
stop lossed meaning John cannot submit his retirement

A Report On Woolworths Company
My chosen business that my report will be based on is the Woolworths company, known primarily in
Australia for their supermarket s and retail chains. Woolworths run several high profile Australian
stores such as BWS, Dan Murphys, Big W and the highly publicized Masters. The reason for my
choice of Woolworths was that as they are one of the biggest companies and employers in Australia,
and have recently been in the media spotlight for the closing of one of the recent projects Masters.
Another major reason as to my choice of Woolworths is that there supply chain would be as
interesting and extensive as any other Australian based company. With almost a thousand
supermarkets Australia wide and over 100 thousand staff, Woolworths is one of the countries
prominent employers (Woolworths limited 2012).
An added incentive as to why I chose to do my report on Woolworths was that they are my current
employer. I believe that by learning more about the current supply chain structure and management of
the company that I do indeed work for, will give me a more detailed overview of the job that I am
currently doing. By understanding more about the company you re involved will hopefully keep me
motivated and improve my work leading to a happier time whilst I am working (Gelles 2013 p.37). As
a billion dollar company, Woolworths would have to be very careful and deliberate with who and what
