This section will introduce the serviceability s own user interface (UI) functionality, system (network
traffic), and connectivity tests along with quality accessibility reporting. The QA team must document
result finding from testing UI, system and connectivity outcomes and report all metrics for a good test
outcome. The outline plan will test the following along with defining the quality assurance scoring.
First test is the User Interface functionality on ease of use, can the end user increase productivity, easy
to understand. Second, have a group of users report on any issues, bugs or defects or error they might
trigger during the testing phase. If bugs, exists every issue will be documented along with possible

Bench testing of the current network and network speeds and user connectivity can all play a factor in
accessing the serviceability application within ESRI s ArcGIS platform. The test group team will
grade or measure each function on how the end user integrates within ArcGIS system. A rank scoring
system will be used with the focus user group to tally any bugs, or defects of any type. The score will
range from 0 9, 0 score of 0 is outstanding no issue where a score of 9 mean certain aspects of
application or system is absent for a process or procedure. The benchmark testing will also
demonstrate what the serviceability module in ArcGIS will do. Creating the information products the
leadership team has outline the benchmark test will help define and score the total functionality. Once
the benchmarks are finalized the project plan should have a desired date for final testing. The manager
or lead within that department should then sign off on the results, or if test are not complete or
inconclusive the project manager should adjust any Gantt charts to accompany more time if applicable

The City Of Wortropolis Faced An Economic Recession
The city of Wortropolis faced an economic recession between 1980 2000. Wortropolis was a city that
thrived from 1950 1980 with an economy based on large scale manufacturing. The unemployment rate
was 3% and the majority of residents owned their homes. In 1980 the city was hit with corporate
frauds and illegal investment practices which lead to the collapse of the banking sector. The banking
sector collapse lead to the economic recession. The recession caused problems of increased poverty,
social inequality, and crime. Between 1980 2000 the crime rates significantly rose. The violent crime
rate went from 5 per 100,000 to 50 per 100,000. The property crime rate went from 100 per 100,000 to
400 per 100,000. Despite the large increase in crime during the recession many of the white collar
offenders were never apprehended. The recession initially occurred due to the corporate fraud and
illegal investment practices but they were not apprehended like the people who committed blue collar
crimes. This failure to apprehend the people can be displayed through the labeling theory. The labeling
theory can explain the failure to apprehend the people who committed the white collar crimes that
caused the recession, and why the rate of white collar offences remained low through the sixty year
period through differential enforcement and labeling. The labeling theory can explain the failure to
apprehend the people who sparked the recession. The theory states that differential enforcement and

What A Stereotypical Dance World !
What a Stereotypical Dance World! There are many different worlds on this planet we live on called
Earth. Everyone alive lives in some kind of little world of their own. There is the celebrity world, the
Disney World, Wally world , lots of different sports worlds, scholastic worlds, and so many others.
There is a particular world that some live in, and that is the World of Dance. When you are a part of
that world, you literally live and breathe it. Every aspect of the dance culture is wrapped up in that
world. To those looking in from the outside it is beautiful, filled with lights, lovely costumes,
mesmerizing music, and graceful movements.
Perhaps the very first image the general public would see in their mind s eye, upon hearing the word
dancer , is that of a darling little five year old girl in a pretty pink tutu and delicate ballet slippers
stepping into her local dance studio for the first time. Take someone a little deeper into that thought,
and they might see an overly thin, pale sixteen year old young woman, with collarbones and ribs
showing working herself almost to death to earn a minor part in a dance chorus. Suggest that someone
describe a dancer in the height of their career, and you might hear of a Prima Ballerina with the
Moscow Ballet. Ask someone to visualize a dancer in later years, and they might picture an older
woman with a greying bun atop her head, leading a class or perhaps helping younger dancer perfect a
performance, who is likely ailing

Dreams, By Sigmund Freud
A person s dreams appear to have a universal language. In ancient societies, people looked at
dreaming as some kind of supernatural communication and dreams are fascinating mysteries. To begin
the discussion of dreams, it is important to note that dreams are often considered an extension of
consciousness. In other words, dreams can be a way the brain organizes and analyzes the day to day
events during sleep. Everyone dreams, however, not everyone remembers their dreams. The
psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, theorized that dreams bury themselves in unconscious emotions and
as we sleep our mind releases these emotions in the form of dreams. He also theorized that dreams are
ways in which people act out suppressed desires. The Interpretation of ... Show more content on

This theory was a good method of explaining dreams, but it did not predict behavior. In other words,
one cannot prove or refute the validity of Freud s theory. According to Ciccarelli and White (2015),
many of today s professionals no longer appreciate Freud s dream theory (151). Nevertheless, Freud s
legacy lives on as The Father of Psychoanalysis (Robinson 2011) and a pioneer in the study of dreams.
Even though, the theory proposed by Freud appears decidedly unscientific. The unconscious mind was
important in Freud s work and the Freudian theory emphasized that the unconscious mind governed
behavior.
Additionally, to study Freud, one must investigate his theory of manifest content and latent content.
While reading Freud, a student learns that the actual content of the dream refers to manifest content.
That is to say, the exact subject matter of the dream makes up the manifest content. At the same time,
Freud believed that the real meaning of a dream referred to latent content. An individual s personal
interpretations define the latent content in Freud s theory. Although rarely recognized, Freud s career
was first and foremost a practitioner Moran 2010). As a psychotherapist Freud believed that dreams
come from deep in the unconscious mind. Perhaps even from things suppressed since childhood. The
study of dreams helped Freud understand the process of psychoanalyzing people and he believed
dreams were a

Application Testing For Software Testing
Before, we begin our job search for software Testing position. We will know what Software Testing is.
Software Testing is a process of evaluating a system or its components with the intention of checking
whether the system developed satisfy the requirements. Testing is done for finding gaps, errors, or
missing requirements causing hindrance to systems functionality .
As mentioned above, software testing is performed to identify software failures and get it corrected.
Testing cannot establish that a product functions properly under all conditions but can only establish
that it does not function properly under specific conditions . This includes examining the code under
various environments and scrutinizes the functionality of the code. Testing team is generally separate
team from the development team. The result derived after software testing is done will be used for
rectifying the process by which a software is developed.
An effective testing team includes technical and domain expertise. The testing team must be structured
properly with assigned roles and responsibilities which allows a tester to perform his duties without
any conflicts with other team members.
Various roles in a testing team are:
1. Test Manager.
2. Test Lead.
3. Usability Test Engineer.
4. Automated Test Engineer.
5. Network Test Engineer.
6. Test Environment Specialist.
7. Security Test Engineer.
8. Test Library and Configuration Specialist.

Clinical Assessment in Health Centers Heather L. Bienkowski PSCYH 655 March 23, 2015 Professor
Karen Hoeve Clinical Assessment in Health Centers Clinical assessments have their place in almost
every facet of the psychological and educational realms. I have been tracking down and examining
what the most important aspects of assessment are that come into play in regard to drug and substance
abuse, custody battles, as well as the importance the role of adhering to the ethical standards of
utilizing culturally informed assessments. Clinical assessments within mental health centers are carry
great importance in the identifying underlying behavioral problems, diagnosis, and treatment of
patients. Behind every assessment is a clinician who ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Through the interpretation of both verbal and nonverbal language, as well as the specific client
complaints, clinicians can pinpoint important markers within behavior and can generate an
understanding of their patient and determine the type of treatment that would be best for their client.
In all psychological and biological assessment, the use of culturally attuned assessments is top
priority. We may define culturally informed psychological assessment as an approach to evaluation
that is keenly perceptive of and responsive to issues of acculturation, values, identity, worldview,
language, and other culture related variables as they may impact the evaluation process or the
interpretation of resulting data (Cohen, Swerdlik, Sturman, 2013). Through this process key
individuals contribute to the understanding of the client including family, friends, and coworkers input
and information. Through the use of translators and other cultural affiliates clinicians are able to
demonstrate a clearer understanding, a culturally applicable assessment, and ensure that the client
understands the ins and outs of the assessment process. One important aspect of the implementation of
the one size fits all approach to culturally attuned treatment and care in our mental health facilities
(Cohen, Swerdlik, Sturman, 2013). Assessment and clinical evaluations should not be a cookie cutter
experience. The amount of patients that are

Merchant Of Venice Theme Analysis
The Merchant of Venice
Question:
The Merchant of Venice was a play about a Jewish moneylender who plots to cut off a pound of flesh
from a Merchant whom he has a history with. Revenge was the central theme of Shakespeare s play
The Merchant of Venice . However, there are other themes throughout the text, namely friendship and
prejudice, that help to emphasise revenge as the central theme of the play.
Revenge is an integral part of the play and characters in the play. Revenge is what drives Shylock,
seeking to obtain revenge on Antonio. In a way, Jessica seeks revenge for the hell that her father made
at home. In Venice, during the time of Shakespeare, Jews were not seen as humans. They were
alienated for their beliefs and due to the belief that Jews were responsible for the death of Christ. As a
result of this alienation, Jews were forced to wear red hats whenever going out, which made them ripe
for the picking for abuse and discrimination. Such discrimination has been laid down on Shylock, with
Antonio spitting on him and calling him a cut throat dog . As seen in Scene Act 1, Scene 3, Antonio,
even after receiving a loan, I am as like to call thee so again, To spit on thee again, to spurn thee too.
This shows how unthankful Antonio is towards Shylock, simply because he is a Jew. It is no wonder
why Shylock seeks revenge on Antonio. When asked by Salanio what good a pound of flesh will do,
Shylock simply states To bait fish withal: if it will feed nothing else, it

Section 8.15.7.2 explicitly allows for the omission of sprinklers below canopies if they are constructed
of limited or non combustible materials. Section 8.15.7.5 will require sprinklers under canopies that
have combustible materials being stored under them. Patio type of furniture will not necessitate the
installation of sprinklers. This is addressed in the 2010 Edition of NFPA s Automatic Sprinkler
Systems Handbook under Section 8.15.7.5. It states, The committee has stated that combustibles, such
as patio furniture, which may be wood or plastic and including cushions, are not sufficient to justify
sprinkler protection. So if no heat sources such as barbeque grills or heaters are allowed under the
patio cover, sprinklers should not be required. When heat sources are present, then sprinklers are
required. The commentary states, However, judgment is needed, and sprinklers may be justified where
the balcony contains combustible loading, such as patio furniture, AND where barbeque grills are
allowed or other ignition sources are present, such as a furnace located off of, and accessed from, the
balcony. Thus if heaters are present with the patio furniture, sprinklers will be required. Such an
arrangement is not considered a significant risk for two reasons. One is the fact that individual or
isolated sets of tables and chairs are difficult to ignite, thus the restriction of heat sources. The second
is that such rooms that are completely open to the exterior are extremely unlikely to reach

Essay on Metamorphosis of the Family in Kafka s...
Metamorphosis of the Family in Kafka s Metamorphosis In Franz Kafka s Metamorphosis, the nature
of Gregor Samsa s reality changes insignificantly in spite of his drastic physical changes. Gregor s life
before the metamorphosis was limited to working and caring for his family. As a traveling salesman,
Gregor worked long, hard hours that left little time to experience life. He reflects on his life
acknowledging the plague of traveling: the anxieties of changing trains, the irregular, inferior meals,
the ever changing faces, never to be seen again, people with whom one has no chance to be friendly
(Kafka 13). Gregor, working to pay off his family s debt, has resigned himself to a life full of work.

So concerned with ensuring his parents and sister were taken care of, he forgot his own needs. It was
apparent to everyone that he was no longer thought of as a son or an extension of the family, but
merely as a support system. The tragic fact is that everyone had grown accustomed to it, his family as
much as himself; they took the money gratefully, he gave it willingly but the act was accompanied by
no remarkable effusiveness (Kafka 48). It appears that in the course of his hectic work schedule, he
overlooks that in return for dedication to his family, he remains unloved and unappreciated. Yet
Gregor still believed he had to provide his family with a pleasant, contented, secure life (Emrich 149),
regardless of how they treated him. Gregor s existence before the metamorphosis was much like after
it; limited to work and family, he went unnoticed by both. After changing into a cockroach one night,
Gregor is forced to live a life of isolation with a family who is appalled by him. He is placed in a dark
bedroom, in the jumble of discarded furniture and filth a monstrous vermin, a grotesque, hidden part
of the family (Eggenschwiler 211). Shock and terror, resulting in Gregor being locked away, marked
his family s reaction to his metamorphosis. His sister is the only one that, while frightened, would tend
to Gregor s room and meals. She even took the responsibility so far as to get angry with anyone who

AI Technology Selection and Technical Requirements The AI technologies that should be integrated
are as follows: 1. Machine learning: to analyze vast amounts of data and provide insights 2. Natural
language processing and generation: both for customer interaction (chatbots) and to translate insight
into human readable recommendations 3. Chatbots solutions: to help users to navigate website and
mobile apps more effectively Some technical considerations are: 1. Platform: whether to implement
the solution using open source platforms or partner with AI vendors including evaluation of
requirements such as customization, speed and in house knowledge as well as the integration of the
required parallel processing into existing infrastructure. Other considerations include platform
scalability and performance. 2. Subject Matter Experts: SMEs are key to evaluate algorithms and
ensure recommendations are fact based and not subject to biases. Additionally, process experts need to
identify exposed business processes and what are the key parameters to enhance customer experience.
In both cases, they should participate in POCs to assess vendors and products 3. Technology Experts:

Therapeutic Response Of A Drug Depends Upon The...
Abstract:
Therapeutic response of a drug depends upon the bioavailability which in turn depends upon the
solubility and dissolution rate of drug. A solubility problem is a major challenge for the
pharmaceutical industry with developments of new pharmaceutical products. There are various
techniques but liquisolid compact is a new and promising method that can change the dissolution rate
of water insoluble drugs. According to the concept of liquisolid systems water insoluble drugs
dissolved in suitable non volatile solvents, may be transformed into free flowing and readily
compressible powders by a simple admixture with excipients referred to as the carrier and coating
materials. Rapid disintegration rates are observed compared to conventional tablets and therefore, they
show improved release rates and hence greater bioavailability. The use of nonvolatile solvent in the
formulation causes increased wettability of water insoluble drugs and ensures molecular dispersion of
drug in the formulation. Modification of formulation by use of certain agents cause sustained release
of drugs from the liquisolid tablets. Hence Liquisolid compacts containing water insoluble drugs
expected to display enhanced dissolution characteristics and consequently improved oral
bioavailability.

Ms-13 Literature Review Essay
Literary Review The literature about MS 13 focuses on the rise of violence within United States

national security and has grown to affect global security through an increase in U.S.

Models of Corrections Essay
The history of correctional thought and practice has been marked by enthusiasm for new approaches,
disillusionment with these approaches, and then substitution of yet other tactics (Clear 59). During the
mid 1900s, many changes came about for the system of corrections in America. Once a new idea goes
sour, a new one replaces it. Prisons shifted their focus from the punishment of offenders to the
rehabilitation of offenders, then to the reentry into society, and back to incarceration. As times and the
needs of the criminal justice system changed, new prison models were organized in hopes of lowering
the crime rates in America. The three major models of prisons that were developed were the medical,
model, the community model, and the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many criminals re offend after they are released because they were put back into society with no
money and no job and no place to live. Gradually allowing criminals to reenter society and helping
them to find jobs will put many on the right track. This program allows people a second chance and
the possibility to change their lives around. This program seems to be a necessity yet it will not work
for everyone. Not all criminals should be let out on the street again. Just because you give a murderer
a job and some money and secure them a place to stay, you have no idea whether they have the desire
to kill again . This program would work for those that were ready to reenter society and would be
extremely beneficial to those who have nothing on the outside to help them. The third aim at bettering
the system of corrections in America was the idea of the crime control model. The crime control
model was based on the assumption that criminal behavior can be controlled by more use of
incarceration and other forms of strict supervision (Clear 57). This new model was designed with the
intent to incarcerate prisoners for longer periods of time. Under this program the death penalty was
reinstated in thirty seven states. This model was thought to have worked best for violent offenders
such as drug dealers and murderers. It seems as though this program was created to scare people from
committing a crime because of the strict punishment that would occur.

Outside Stressors In Schools Case Study
These findings supported my hypothesis. In the case of the first hypothesis of where the more time a
person spent towards their outside stressors, the greater impact it would have on school work. The
results showed that participants, who contributed more time to outside responsibilities, were more
likely to feel as if they were being negatively impacted by it. There is one outlier to this in the case of
the one student, mother who works 40 hours. This woman was the eldest participant, which may lead
to the assumption that with age came more experience at balancing out the extra responsibilities. In
the case of my second hypothesis, which was an extension of my 1st, when participants had multiple
extra responsibilities, they were more inclined to feel they were being negatively affected. Overall
across all the data, when participants had to balance out two or more outside stressors, they felt their
schoolwork was being negatively impacted. In conclusion, the results were in line with the hypothesis.
Whether the stressor was work, childcare or sports each had some sort of an impact on schoolwork
performance. The best way for this hypothesis to be fully analyzed would be by comparing this to a

Benefits Of Minimum Wage
Minimum wage is a struggle for many Americans and I believe it needs to be raised. The minimum
wage of the United States is $7.25 an hour. It is a rate that isn t letting many Americans live life
comfortably. If the minimum wage was changed even a merely $3.75 it would change people s lives
and will let many people get by. The minimum wage of $7.25 has stayed the same since 2009 and
there hasn t been any effort by the government to change it. Many states have increased their
minimum wage, but I hope that the minimum wage rises nationwide and not individually as states.

Another reason why the minimum wage needs to be increased because of single parents or even
families in general. Many single parents or families rely on the minimum wage to live day by day.
Although some may say that living alone with a child doesn t cost much, but I disagree. Having a
child cost a lot of money. These parents often do not raise their children because they must dedicate
their life to working most of the hours of the week and must leave their children in a daycare or in the
home of a close family relative. In between buying necessities for the child and having to raise them,
they have to work long hours of the week because the minimum wage is too low to allow them to take
a break. This is something that effects millions of families in the United States. Gould, senior
economist at EPI tells NBC News, Even in Tennessee, a state with some of the most affordable cities
in the country, minimum wage workers cannot cover the cost of basic necessities such as housing,
food and other expenses. Families should also have the opportunity to thrive off the minimum wage.
Furthermore people cannot pay the bills and take care of themselves on minimum wage. Minimum
wage often cannot pay adult bills. Although in the past the minimum wage was way below what is it
today, consumer prices have increased a total of 482%. Even college tuition has gone up 994% in
pricing than in 1970, and that s only

a large portion of the feminist society fighting for female dominance and the disappearance of
chivalry. Society is always searching for answers from science and philosophy but constantly fails to
look in the right places. The Bible is the foundation of truth and it requires the ultimate amount of
attention if any community plans to be successful for any length of time. The education of modern
society on what the Bible says about gender roles is necessary to achieve mutual understanding of
beliefs.
The Bible is full of statements and teachings on the topic of gender. Unfortunately, these are often
ignored in the home. For example, the different roles of mothers and fathers. The Bible claims that
mothers are called to be involved in the teaching, nurturing, and mentorship of their children.
According to Proverbs 13:24, fathers are also called to discipline their children, to teach them, and to
mentor them. Parents roles are very similar according to the Bible with the caveat that fathers are
called to be the disciplinarians and leaders of the household. Another example of the differences
between genders according to the Bible is that of a Godly

An Analysis Of The Circuit By Francisco Jimenez
Challenges and obstacles are everywhere, and everyday people find ways to overcome them all. They
are what keep someone motivated to continue trying until they reached their goal. As in The Circuit,
from the Grapes of Wrath, and Against the Odds. , they show an example of how they did it.
Individuals surpass hardships by persevering to make progress piece by piece. In the short story The
Circuit by Francisco Jimenez, Panchito dealt with being a migrant worker and going to school. At
school, he struggled to read his English book. According to page 473, it states, He walked up to me,
handed me an English book, and asked me to read... When I heard this, I felt my blood rush to my
head; I felt dizzy... I opened the book to page 125. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

by Pearson Realize about how Sully Sullenberger faced a potential crash with 150 passengers on
board when geese hit the plane and made the engines fail. Sully kept calm for the whole experience
and got everyone to safety, while also keeping the plane intact. The selection states, The plane could

was too dire for the plane to stay in the air long enough for either plan to be successful... He d ditch
the plane in the Hudson River despite the fact that passenger jets are not built to land on water. (pgs.

succeeded. Another challenge was to get everyone to safety. Most of the passengers were out of the

The Sarbanes Oxley Act Of 2002 Essay
The Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002 was the result of a number of large financial scandals in the United
States in the late 1990s and early 2000s. One of the most well known corporate accounting scandals
was the Enron scandal, which was exposed in 2001. Enron, an energy company that was considered
one of the most financially sound corporations in the United States before the scandal, produced false
earnings reports to shareholders and kept large debts off the accounting books (Peavler, 2016). Enron
executives also committed fraud by embezzling corporate funds and manipulating the stock market.
Enron shareholders lost around $74 billion dollars, Enron employees lost their retirement accounts,
and some Enron employees even lost their jobs (The 10 Worst Corporate Accounting Scandals of All
Time, n.d.).
Another corporate accounting scandal that occurred in the United States before the Sarbanes Oxley
Act came into effect was the WorldCom scandal in 2002. Seventeen thousand employees were fired
and $3.8 billion dollars in profit were removed from their accounting books after an internal audit
discovered improper expense accounting in 2001 and 2002. This improper accounting inflated the
cash flow so the company would not report a net loss, only a net gain (Hancock, 2002). A similar
communications corporation, Adelphia, was also rocked by a corporate accounting scandal in 2002.
The Securities and Exchange Commission filed charges against the founder of Adelphia and his three
sons

Radiotherapy Vs Chemotherapy Essay
In our body we have normal cells that send signals to every cell all the time and our normal cells obey
what the signals are saying. Normal cells know when they have reached their limit and when it is time
to die or to do something to themselves or to others. On the other hand, we have cancer cells, they
override the normal signaling system. For example, cancer cells do not stop dividing and growing
when they have reached their limit. Due to this, the cells keep replicating, forming like a tumor that is
growing. My point is that cancer cells grow and divide in a manner that you are not able to control,
they would invade normal tissues, organs and eventually spreading throughout the body. Cancer cells
lost their control of growth and it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To treat cancer or to remove doctors and scientist use surgery, chemotherapy (drugs), various types of
radiotherapy. Chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy might be used to destroy leftover cancer cells and
prevent the cancer from growing back. The exact treatment that will be used depends on like the type
of tumor and the stage of the disease or other things to take into account. Scientists and researchers are
always trying to find new ways to limit the growth, spread, and kill of cancer cells. Most of our
population do not know exactly what cancer is and how it works. I highly suggest that we need to
educate our population with the definition and show them how cancer cells works. In my case, if it
was not for my biology classes I would not have learned how cancer cells works nor the definition.
Cancer cells are really important since they can spread, get to the point of stopping the function of
other cells, killing other cells and finalizing with death or stopping a function in our body. It is
important to know about cancer cells because when you are learning about them you are also learning
about how your cells work and how they function. If they know about this particular topic our
community would be highly educated with not only cancer cells, also with many other diseases that
are associated with

The History of Mail and the Postal System
History of Mail Mail is a system of transporting documents and small packages or even written
messages such as seasonal greetings and other. The first documentation of a mail service is dated back
to Egypt when the pharaohs used carriers to send their decrees of territories. Persia was the first to
have a real postal system which dates to Cyrus the Great at 550 BC. They used stations (Chapar
Khaneh), the carriers (Chapars) would go from post to post swapping tired horse for a fresh horse so
they could deliver that much faster. 322 185 B.C. India developed there early mail system there

military purposes by kings and local rulers to deliver information through runners or carriers. The
postmaster was responsible for the maintenance of the courier system which also delivered personal
letter. Indian Post Office was established October 1, 1837. B.C. A.D. 220 China had relay stations
every 15 kilometers (30 Li, which was the Chinese measurement that they used) along the major
routes. The tang dynasty was said to have 1,640 posthouses, that including maritime office, which
employed a grand total around 20,000 people. The postal network was a major part of the later
corruption of the Ming dynasty. The first well documented postal service was in Rome (62 B.C.

Dengue Fever And Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
Dengue is believed to have originated in primates before jumping to humans via an insect vector 100
800 years ago in either Southeast Asia or Africa. (cdc.gov/dengue/epidemiology) Dengue became a
prevalent issue during the 20th century as a result of the Second World War inadvertently transporting
the insect vector from place to place along with cargo. (cdc.gov/dengue/epidemiology) This caused
outbreaks in Thailand and the Philippines in the 1950 s and in the 80 s cases began to crop up in Latin
America and the Caribbean. (cdc.gov/dengue/epidemiology)

Compare Hedda Gabler And Oedipus The King
Ibsen and Sophocles are two very distinct writers from different periods and culture. They both wrote
plays and stories with strong protagonists who the readers don t enjoy but, whose fate are somewhat
tragic in a sense that elicits the reader s sympathy for the sense of wasted potential and tragic loss. In a
sense, I do agree with this statement because from both authors books like Ibsen Hedda Gabler and
Sophocles Oedipus The King ; the main characters are not liked by most readers, but the reader do
sympathize with the characters. In Sophocles text Oedipus the King , Sophocles begins the play with
the main character: Oedipus being this heroic person who is to find out the cause of the disease that is
spreading across the city and causing so many to die. Oedipus is describing as someone one is brave
and very intelligent because he was the one to solve the sphinx riddle and to kill her. Ending cycle of
deaths of people who tried to enter the city. In page 483, paragraph 4, Sophocles describes the
backstory of how Oedipus becomes famous in the city of Thebes, ...When he reached Thebes, he
found the city oppressed by a dreadful female monster, a Sphinx part human, part lion, often also
depicted in Greek art with the wings of an eagle and the tail of a snake. The Sphinx refused to let
anyone into the city unless they could answer her riddle [...] She strangled and devoured all travelers
who failed to answer the riddle. But Oedipus gave the right answer. [...] The Sphinx was

Relations Between The Cuban And The US
Cuban and U.S. Relations
From the time, Fidel Castro came to power in Cuba tensions ran high between the Cuban government
and the United States government. Relations between Cuba and the United States grew during
Eisenhower and Kennedy administrations. Not as much during the Eisenhower administration as the
Kennedy administration did tensions between between the two countries intensify. Kennedy faced
many a different situations as President. He faced such situations like the Bay of Pigs Invasion and the
Cuban Missile Crisis. Tensions have mounted high for a long time between Cuba and the United
States. Towards the end of President Eisenhower s second term he ran into the increasingly strident

The training of the exiles took place towards the end of Eisenhower s term as President of the United
States. He took very few steps in the direction of having the exiles return to Cuba to overthrow Castro.
The training took place when President Eisenhower was leaving office and President elect Kennedy
was coming into office. Upon coming into office, President Kennedy was told of the training of Cuban
exiles in Guatemala by CIA director Allen Dulles. Kennedy gave his approval for the training of the
exiles to continue. He later went to the Joint Chiefs of Staff to evaluate the situation. They came to the
conclusion that even though the CIA was training the exiles they wouldn t have a very good chance of
succeeding in overthrowing the dictator of Cuba. They felt that even to have a chance of success they
would need the people still living in Cuba, who were unhappy with the government, to rebel at the
same time they were to come ashore (Think Quest). After Kennedy had a meeting with the Joint
Chiefs of Staff the President Guatemala ordered the CIA and the Cuban exiles out of his country.
Kennedy was forced to make a quick decision. The president was then informed that the Cubans were
receiving a shipment of fighter crafts from the Soviets. After this President Kennedy got this news he
gave the green light for the mission, but had the right

Organic Budgeting
While people are becoming more health conscious, it seems that budgeting is an even bigger concern
in today s tight economy. If you need to save money, does that mean that you have to get rid of your
healthy organic food? You can eat organic food, even if you are on a budget. There are several
strategies that smart shoppers use to maintain a healthy diet during lean times.
Shop in Season
Just like all types of produce, certain organic foods are priced lower, depending on the season. Buy
your organic produce in its prime production season to get the cheapest prices. Strawberries, for
example, are being grown at their peak in late spring and early summer. Oranges are at their prime in
the fall months. During summer, you should be purchasing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

There may be an organic line offered by your local grocery store. In addition, almost all health food
stores offer organic items, including basic produce. Finally, don t forget to check local ethnic groceries
in you area to see what organic items they may carry.
Ordering Organic Online
If you regularly use organic products that are prepackaged, consider shopping for organic food online.
Many sites offer reasonable, or free, shipping and will ship items as varied as pasta, cereals and other
non perishables. For those on a budget, this option can save a lot over buying locally. You may get
further discounts for buying in quantity, so consider stocking up or sharing an order with a friend.
Don t Forget to Garden
Even if you don t have a lot of available variety for buying organic food on a budget, you likely have a
little patch of dirt that you can take advantage of. The fresher your food is, the better it is for you.
Nothing is as fresh as picking your own produce right in your back yard. Gardening is probably the
most budget friendly way to get top quality organic food. For the price of seeds and compost, you can
have an entire season of abundant and naturally grown produce. Since you know exactly what has
gone into your backyard garden, you can be certain that everything is up to your standards and no
pesticides were used in producing your organic

The specific contributions combat engineers made during this operation primarily came from within
the 82nd Airborne Division. Under the leadership of Brigadier General (BG) James Gavin, his
paratroopers were tasked with dropping in northeast Netherlands to secure bridges at the towns of
Grave and Nijmegan. The 82nd Airborne Division s primary target was securing the bridges at
Nijmegan to facilitate the Allied Forces XXX Corps, who would be arriving through Nijmegan to a
town called Arnhem. Arnhem was a town that laid on the German / Dutch border. Allied Intelligence
determined that two SS Panzer Divisions of German forces occupied that town.
Within the 82nd Airborne Division was the 504 Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR). Assigned to the
504th PIR was Charlie Company 307th Engineer Battalion. On the third day of Operation Market
Garden, the 82nd Airborne, under BG Gavin, was directed to make an assault across the Waal River to
secure the Nijmegan Highway Bridge. The 504th PIR was the primary assault force, augmented with
engineers from C Co 307th Engineer Battalion. Intelligence from the 504th PIR determined that the
crossing was going to happen between two large buildings on the southern bank of the Waal River.
The Engineers determined the river was roughly 1200 feet in width and having a current of about eight
miles per hour. All of the support by fire was provided up and down the

  • 3. The City Of Wortropolis Faced An Economic Recession The city of Wortropolis faced an economic recession between 1980 2000. Wortropolis was a city that thrived from 1950 1980 with an economy based on large scale manufacturing. The unemployment rate was 3% and the majority of residents owned their homes. In 1980 the city was hit with corporate frauds and illegal investment practices which lead to the collapse of the banking sector. The banking sector collapse lead to the economic recession. The recession caused problems of increased poverty, social inequality, and crime. Between 1980 2000 the crime rates significantly rose. The violent crime rate went from 5 per 100,000 to 50 per 100,000. The property crime rate went from 100 per 100,000 to 400 per 100,000. Despite the large increase in crime during the recession many of the white collar offenders were never apprehended. The recession initially occurred due to the corporate fraud and illegal investment practices but they were not apprehended like the people who committed blue collar crimes. This failure to apprehend the people can be displayed through the labeling theory. The labeling theory can explain the failure to apprehend the people who committed the white collar crimes that caused the recession, and why the rate of white collar offences remained low through the sixty year period through differential enforcement and labeling. The labeling theory can explain the failure to apprehend the people who sparked the recession. The theory states that differential enforcement and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. What A Stereotypical Dance World ! What a Stereotypical Dance World! There are many different worlds on this planet we live on called Earth. Everyone alive lives in some kind of little world of their own. There is the celebrity world, the Disney World, Wally world , lots of different sports worlds, scholastic worlds, and so many others. There is a particular world that some live in, and that is the World of Dance. When you are a part of that world, you literally live and breathe it. Every aspect of the dance culture is wrapped up in that world. To those looking in from the outside it is beautiful, filled with lights, lovely costumes, mesmerizing music, and graceful movements. Perhaps the very first image the general public would see in their mind s eye, upon hearing the word dancer , is that of a darling little five year old girl in a pretty pink tutu and delicate ballet slippers stepping into her local dance studio for the first time. Take someone a little deeper into that thought, and they might see an overly thin, pale sixteen year old young woman, with collarbones and ribs showing working herself almost to death to earn a minor part in a dance chorus. Suggest that someone describe a dancer in the height of their career, and you might hear of a Prima Ballerina with the Moscow Ballet. Ask someone to visualize a dancer in later years, and they might picture an older woman with a greying bun atop her head, leading a class or perhaps helping younger dancer perfect a performance, who is likely ailing ... • 5. Dreams, By Sigmund Freud A person s dreams appear to have a universal language. In ancient societies, people looked at dreaming as some kind of supernatural communication and dreams are fascinating mysteries. To begin the discussion of dreams, it is important to note that dreams are often considered an extension of consciousness. In other words, dreams can be a way the brain organizes and analyzes the day to day events during sleep. Everyone dreams, however, not everyone remembers their dreams. The psychoanalyst, Sigmund Freud, theorized that dreams bury themselves in unconscious emotions and as we sleep our mind releases these emotions in the form of dreams. He also theorized that dreams are ways in which people act out suppressed desires. The Interpretation of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This theory was a good method of explaining dreams, but it did not predict behavior. In other words, one cannot prove or refute the validity of Freud s theory. According to Ciccarelli and White (2015), many of today s professionals no longer appreciate Freud s dream theory (151). Nevertheless, Freud s legacy lives on as The Father of Psychoanalysis (Robinson 2011) and a pioneer in the study of dreams. Even though, the theory proposed by Freud appears decidedly unscientific. The unconscious mind was important in Freud s work and the Freudian theory emphasized that the unconscious mind governed behavior. Additionally, to study Freud, one must investigate his theory of manifest content and latent content. While reading Freud, a student learns that the actual content of the dream refers to manifest content. That is to say, the exact subject matter of the dream makes up the manifest content. At the same time, Freud believed that the real meaning of a dream referred to latent content. An individual s personal interpretations define the latent content in Freud s theory. Although rarely recognized, Freud s career was first and foremost a practitioner Moran 2010). As a psychotherapist Freud believed that dreams come from deep in the unconscious mind. Perhaps even from things suppressed since childhood. The study of dreams helped Freud understand the process of psychoanalyzing people and he believed dreams were a ... • 6. Application Testing For Software Testing Before, we begin our job search for software Testing position. We will know what Software Testing is. Software Testing is a process of evaluating a system or its components with the intention of checking whether the system developed satisfy the requirements. Testing is done for finding gaps, errors, or missing requirements causing hindrance to systems functionality . As mentioned above, software testing is performed to identify software failures and get it corrected. Testing cannot establish that a product functions properly under all conditions but can only establish that it does not function properly under specific conditions . This includes examining the code under various environments and scrutinizes the functionality of the code. Testing team is generally separate team from the development team. The result derived after software testing is done will be used for rectifying the process by which a software is developed. An effective testing team includes technical and domain expertise. Bienkowski PSCYH 655 March 23, 2015 Professor Karen Hoeve Clinical Assessment in Health Centers Clinical assessments have their place in almost every facet of the psychological and educational realms. I have been tracking down and examining what the most important aspects of assessment are that come into play in regard to drug and substance abuse, custody battles, as well as the importance the role of adhering to the ethical standards of utilizing culturally informed assessments. Through the interpretation of both verbal and nonverbal language, as well as the specific client complaints, clinicians can pinpoint important markers within behavior and can generate an understanding of their patient and determine the type of treatment that would be best for their client. In all psychological and biological assessment, the use of culturally attuned assessments is top priority. We may define culturally informed psychological assessment as an approach to evaluation that is keenly perceptive of and responsive to issues of acculturation, values, identity, worldview, language, and other culture related variables as they may impact the evaluation process or the interpretation of resulting data (Cohen, Swerdlik, Sturman, 2013). Through this process key individuals contribute to the understanding of the client including family, friends, and coworkers input and information. Through the use of translators and other cultural affiliates clinicians are able to demonstrate a clearer understanding, a culturally applicable assessment, and ensure that the client understands the ins and outs of the assessment process. One important aspect of the implementation of the one size fits all approach to culturally attuned treatment and care in our mental health facilities (Cohen, Swerdlik, Sturman, 2013). • 8. Merchant Of Venice Theme Analysis The Merchant of Venice Question: The Merchant of Venice was a play about a Jewish moneylender who plots to cut off a pound of flesh from a Merchant whom he has a history with. Revenge was the central theme of Shakespeare s play The Merchant of Venice . However, there are other themes throughout the text, namely friendship and prejudice, that help to emphasise revenge as the central theme of the play. Revenge is an integral part of the play and characters in the play. Revenge is what drives Shylock, seeking to obtain revenge on Antonio. In a way, Jessica seeks revenge for the hell that her father made at home. In Venice, during the time of Shakespeare, Jews were not seen as humans. They were alienated for their beliefs and due to the belief that Jews were responsible for the death of Christ. As a result of this alienation, Jews were forced to wear red hats whenever going out, which made them ripe for the picking for abuse and discrimination. Such discrimination has been laid down on Shylock, with Antonio spitting on him and calling him a cut throat dog . As seen in Scene Act 1, Scene 3, Antonio, even after receiving a loan, I am as like to call thee so again, To spit on thee again, to spurn thee too. This shows how unthankful Antonio is towards Shylock, simply because he is a Jew. It is no wonder why Shylock seeks revenge on Antonio. When asked by Salanio what good a pound of flesh will do, Shylock simply states To bait fish withal: if it will feed nothing else, it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

There are two large exterior canopies that we excluded fire sprinklers under per our General Note #9 referencing Section 8.15.7.2. We have completed our rough installation per the approved plans and the local fire inspector has informed us that he wants a letter from the property owner stating they will NOT store any combustible material under the canopies. Section 8.15.7.2 explicitly allows for the omission of sprinklers below canopies if they are constructed of limited or non combustible materials. Section 8.15.7.5 will require sprinklers under canopies that have combustible materials being stored under them. Patio type of furniture will not necessitate the installation of sprinklers. This is addressed in the 2010 Edition of NFPA s Automatic Sprinkler Systems Handbook under Section 8.15.7.5. It states, The committee has stated that combustibles, such as patio furniture, which may be wood or plastic and including cushions, are not sufficient to justify sprinkler protection. So if no heat sources such as barbeque grills or heaters are allowed under the patio cover, sprinklers should not be required. When heat sources are present, then sprinklers are required. The commentary states, However, judgment is needed, and sprinklers may be justified where the balcony contains combustible loading, such as patio furniture, AND where barbeque grills are allowed or other ignition sources are present, such as a furnace located off of, and accessed from, the balcony. Thus if heaters are present with the patio furniture, sprinklers will be required. Such an arrangement is not considered a significant risk for two reasons. One is the fact that individual or isolated sets of tables and chairs are difficult to ignite, thus the restriction of heat sources. The second is that such rooms that are completely open to the exterior are extremely unlikely to reach ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 12. Essay on Metamorphosis of the Family in Kafka s... Metamorphosis of the Family in Kafka s Metamorphosis In Franz Kafka s Metamorphosis, the nature of Gregor Samsa s reality changes insignificantly in spite of his drastic physical changes. Gregor s life before the metamorphosis was limited to working and caring for his family. As a traveling salesman, Gregor worked long, hard hours that left little time to experience life. He reflects on his life acknowledging the plague of traveling: the anxieties of changing trains, the irregular, inferior meals, the ever changing faces, never to be seen again, people with whom one has no chance to be friendly (Kafka 13). Gregor, working to pay off his family s debt, has resigned himself to a life full of work. Kafka himself ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So concerned with ensuring his parents and sister were taken care of, he forgot his own needs. It was apparent to everyone that he was no longer thought of as a son or an extension of the family, but merely as a support system. The tragic fact is that everyone had grown accustomed to it, his family as much as himself; they took the money gratefully, he gave it willingly but the act was accompanied by no remarkable effusiveness (Kafka 48). It appears that in the course of his hectic work schedule, he overlooks that in return for dedication to his family, he remains unloved and unappreciated. Yet Gregor still believed he had to provide his family with a pleasant, contented, secure life (Emrich 149), regardless of how they treated him. Gregor s existence before the metamorphosis was much like after it; limited to work and family, he went unnoticed by both. After changing into a cockroach one night, Gregor is forced to live a life of isolation with a family who is appalled by him. He is placed in a dark bedroom, in the jumble of discarded furniture and filth a monstrous vermin, a grotesque, hidden part of the family (Eggenschwiler 211). Shock and terror, resulting in Gregor being locked away, marked his family s reaction to his metamorphosis. His sister is the only one that, while frightened, would tend to Gregor s room and meals. • 14. Therapeutic Response Of A Drug Depends Upon The... Abstract: Therapeutic response of a drug depends upon the bioavailability which in turn depends upon the solubility and dissolution rate of drug. A solubility problem is a major challenge for the pharmaceutical industry with developments of new pharmaceutical products. There are various techniques but liquisolid compact is a new and promising method that can change the dissolution rate of water insoluble drugs. According to the concept of liquisolid systems water insoluble drugs dissolved in suitable non volatile solvents, may be transformed into free flowing and readily compressible powders by a simple admixture with excipients referred to as the carrier and coating materials. Rapid disintegration rates are observed compared to conventional tablets and therefore, they show improved release rates and hence greater bioavailability. The use of nonvolatile solvent in the formulation causes increased wettability of water insoluble drugs and ensures molecular dispersion of drug in the formulation. Modification of formulation by use of certain agents cause sustained release of drugs from the liquisolid tablets. Hence Liquisolid compacts containing water insoluble drugs expected to display enhanced dissolution characteristics and consequently improved oral bioavailability. • 16. Models of Corrections Essay The history of correctional thought and practice has been marked by enthusiasm for new approaches, disillusionment with these approaches, and then substitution of yet other tactics (Clear 59). During the mid 1900s, many changes came about for the system of corrections in America. Once a new idea goes sour, a new one replaces it. Prisons shifted their focus from the punishment of offenders to the rehabilitation of offenders, then to the reentry into society, and back to incarceration. As times and the needs of the criminal justice system changed, new prison models were organized in hopes of lowering the crime rates in America. Gradually allowing criminals to reenter society and helping them to find jobs will put many on the right track. This program allows people a second chance and the possibility to change their lives around. This program seems to be a necessity yet it will not work for everyone. Not all criminals should be let out on the street again. Just because you give a murderer a job and some money and secure them a place to stay, you have no idea whether they have the desire to kill again . This program would work for those that were ready to reenter society and would be extremely beneficial to those who have nothing on the outside to help them. The third aim at bettering the system of corrections in America was the idea of the crime control model. The crime control model was based on the assumption that criminal behavior can be controlled by more use of incarceration and other forms of strict supervision (Clear 57). This new model was designed with the intent to incarcerate prisoners for longer periods of time. Under this program the death penalty was reinstated in thirty seven states. This model was thought to have worked best for violent offenders such as drug dealers and murderers. It seems as though this program was created to scare people from committing a crime because of the strict punishment that would occur. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 17. Outside Stressors In Schools Case Study These findings supported my hypothesis. In the case of the first hypothesis of where the more time a person spent towards their outside stressors, the greater impact it would have on school work. The results showed that participants, who contributed more time to outside responsibilities, were more likely to feel as if they were being negatively impacted by it. There is one outlier to this in the case of the one student, mother who works 40 hours. This woman was the eldest participant, which may lead to the assumption that with age came more experience at balancing out the extra responsibilities. In the case of my second hypothesis, which was an extension of my 1st, when participants had multiple extra responsibilities, they were more inclined to feel they were being negatively affected. Overall across all the data, when participants had to balance out two or more outside stressors, they felt their schoolwork was being negatively impacted. In conclusion, the results were in line with the hypothesis. Whether the stressor was work, childcare or sports each had some sort of an impact on schoolwork performance. • 20. The Bible On Gender Roles In The Bible The Bible on Gender Roles The Holy Bible is full of advice on every issue known to humanity. This advice varies in topics from society s functions to foreign policy and even gender roles. Today s western culture is very confused when it comes to gender roles, swinging over the last over 50 years from a male dominated society to a large portion of the feminist society fighting for female dominance and the disappearance of chivalry. Society is always searching for answers from science and philosophy but constantly fails to look in the right places. The Bible is the foundation of truth and it requires the ultimate amount of attention if any community plans to be successful for any length of time. The education of modern society on what the Bible says about gender roles is necessary to achieve mutual understanding of beliefs. The Bible is full of statements and teachings on the topic of gender. Unfortunately, these are often ignored in the home. For example, the different roles of mothers and fathers. The Bible claims that mothers are called to be involved in the teaching, nurturing, and mentorship of their children. According to Proverbs 13:24, fathers are also called to discipline their children, to teach them, and to mentor them. One of the most well known corporate accounting scandals was the Enron scandal, which was exposed in 2001. Enron, an energy company that was considered one of the most financially sound corporations in the United States before the scandal, produced false earnings reports to shareholders and kept large debts off the accounting books (Peavler, 2016). Enron executives also committed fraud by embezzling corporate funds and manipulating the stock market. Enron shareholders lost around $74 billion dollars, Enron employees lost their retirement accounts, and some Enron employees even lost their jobs (The 10 Worst Corporate Accounting Scandals of All Time, n.d.). Another corporate accounting scandal that occurred in the United States before the Sarbanes Oxley Act came into effect was the WorldCom scandal in 2002. Seventeen thousand employees were fired and $3.8 billion dollars in profit were removed from their accounting books after an internal audit discovered improper expense accounting in 2001 and 2002. This improper accounting inflated the cash flow so the company would not report a net loss, only a net gain (Hancock, 2002). Normal cells know when they have reached their limit and when it is time to die or to do something to themselves or to others. On the other hand, we have cancer cells, they override the normal signaling system. For example, cancer cells do not stop dividing and growing when they have reached their limit. Due to this, the cells keep replicating, forming like a tumor that is growing.
