How Anti Forensic Tools Work As Well As Looking At The...
1.Introduction The aim of this report is to investigate where and how anti forensic tools work as
well as looking at the challenges forensic investigators are faced when such tools are used. After
anti forensic tools are used certain artefacts will be left behind, this report will also cover the
procedures and difficulties when trying to uncover these artefacts as well as the tools used to
find them. Anti Forensic (AF) techniques are the actions which are aimed to prevent forensic
investigators analysing the case effectively since the AF tools are used to reduce or the quantity
and quality of useful information. Anti forensics is yet to have its own definition however this
is expected as it is still a relatively unexplored field despite the fact cybercrime levels are
growing every day. There have been several AF definitions defined however these definitions
only focus on certain parts of anti forensics. Peron and Legary came to a definition which I feel
fits which is limit the identification, collection, collation and validation of electronic data. (Peron
and Legary, 2005). Data hiding is a commonly used AF technique which is defined as the art of
hiding the fact that communication is taking place, by the hiding of information in other
information (Tyagi, 2012, p.120). Data is hiding is used to essentially removing data from view
so it is far less likely to be uncovered meaning that it won t be used in the forensic investigation.
The evidence will not be changed or

The Characteristics Of Albert Bandura s Theory Of...
1.The skills and the capabilities to perform a certain task more effectively and efficiently is
known as Self efficacy (Encarta dictionary). The concept of self efficacy was published by
Albert Bandura in his 1977 article. According to him, self efficacy develops over time and
experience, thus, from infancy and continues throughout our life span. Since 1997 to now. There
has been a lot of studies been than around self efficacy in many fields that relate employee
quality of work life. These may include salary, job satisfaction, promotions, and other incentives
to work performance (Pajares, 1997 .The concept of Self efficacy has become an interesting area
of studies especially in the European continent, however its importance is not ruled out from the
African and other continents. In our day to day activities, and at our various occupational
centres, we are familiar with statements such as, you need to be efficient at your task, because
we have to meet deadlines or I like your work output, you are efficient at your job , and many
others. According to Bandura s theory, self efficacy can be seen in two ways. Thus, efficacy
expectation and outcome expectancy. Efficacy expectation is a person has the skills and the
capabilities of performing a certain tasks. The later represents a person s estimate of the likely

Essay Margin Call
Margin call is an american movie, realizd by JC Chandor in 2011
The story
This movie explains how crisis in 2008 happened in a financial institution in New York. The
company exists since 137 years with John Tuld as the Chief Executive Officer. The leader of
trading operation is Sam Rogers. He is in the company since 34 years.
First of all, there is the layoff of Eric Dale, the financial analyst. We can see a comparison with
Lehman Brothers when bankers leave the company with a case under arms and the telephone line
were cut instantaneously. While Dale is being escorted out, he gives Peter a USB memory stick
with a project he had been working on, telling him to be careful just as he boards the elevator.

At the beginnig, he does not want to sell all of the toxic assets but finally, he accepted and the next
morning, he ordonned to his employees to do this. All of employees were performed.
Peter Sullivan, who worked since 18 months in the company is talented. It s thanks to him with his
figures analysis that the company knows that it can be the bankruptcy. Without Peter Sullivan, the
company would have been a big surprise...
Will Emerson, the trading desk head since 10 years, is the first personn who knows the discovery
of figures analysis of Peter Sullivan.
Moreover, there is Sarah Robertson and Jared Cohen, Chiefs risk management officer. This is
Jared Cohen who wants to sell all toxic assets. He suggests to the CEO. John Tuld wants to dismiss
Sarah Robertson after.
John Tuld is the Chief Executive Officer of the bank. He accepts the proposal of Jared Cohen to sell
all toxic assests before the opening of stock exchange.
A secondary character in the story is Seth Bregman, a young trader and a friend of Peter Sullivan.
He attends to all major decisions of the company for this crisis situation.
My opinion about the movie
I find this movie very interesting, from financial side as much as decisions making. With not really
affinity for finance, I was a little bit afraid of this movie, but there are not many figures. This

Some Facts and My Opinion of High Fructose Corn Syrup
I hope all is well with you. Thank you for asking my opinion about high fructose corn syrup. Rest
assure I do not want you to be concerned, I will try to explain it as much as I can. Let me start by
explaining to you what high fructose syrup means in comparison to regular sugar. HFCS is
composed of a mix of glucoseand fructose(Beil). This same chemical components are also found in
regular table sugar. Table sugar also has another name called sucrose. It has a linear ring structure
with three to seven carbon atoms (Phelan 854). To make it easier on you to understand, we eat
sugar it breaks down in our stomach as glucose and fructose (Busken 112 113). If the breakdown
of HFCS and sugar is compared you will find that HFCS gives the better opportunity of using in
food (Busken 112 113). The digestion of sugar is 50/50, while the breakdown of HFCS is 42%
fructose and 55% glucose (Busken 112 113). The remaining 3% are chains of saccharides (Busken
112 113). Now looking into the graph that you sent me I do not think that high fructose corn syrup
is the main cause of obesity. Through my understanding of the readings I have read that interacting
with a substance does not necessarily mean that it is the cause of it. Throughout the years
Americans have developed a bigger appetite and specifically a sweet tooth (Beil). The graph
demonstrates that between 1975 2000 the high fructose corn syrup intake rose frequently. In
between the same years, obesity has rise and fallen multiple

Bilingualism In Richard Rodriguez s Hunger Of Memory
I was 13 years old the first time I traveled to the Czech Republic to visit some family. My family
there spoke very little (if not any) english, so I always wondered the fun of communicating with
them by speaking Czech. I told myself on the plane ride back to the US that I would learn Czech
in order to talk with my familythe next time. The second time I went to Europe, we not only went
to the Czech Republic, but to Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Poland. I was so excited
to use the little bit of Czech I learned; not to mention, I was excited to hear all the different
languages. By the time I came back to Europe, most street signs had English subtitles, as well as
most food products. My family even knew fluent English! The memory... Show more content on

Academic research displays that, students who are bilingual have advantages, not only in their
literacy development, but in the development of problem solving skills and other areas of
cognition (US Department of Education). Since learning and using more than one language is
beneficial to students, couldn t it be beneficial to everyone? A simple Spanish menu in every
English restaurant could make an impact on anyone in the daily public. For those like Rodriguez, I
think learning more than one language should not feel forceful nor fearful, but an optional
opportunity for more knowledge in another culture and identity. Personally, I felt less fear and
pressure to learn czech when I saw the English subtitles. The subtitles helped me understand the
Czech language more when I compared it to my own English language. However, I forgot most of

Essay on The Poetry of Robert Hayden
Although the majority of Robert Hayden s writings address racial themes and depicts events in
African American history, he also wrote short poems that capture his own personal experiences.
Hayden has an enormous amount of great poems and short stories, but as I read through many
of them, I was touched by two specific poems that I felt I could personally relate to. I chose these
poems because I am able to put myself into the story line and understand what the writer is
talking about. I believe that a good writer is able to reach any reader regardless of race, gender, or
age. Hayden possessed an incredible skill with his language and the structures of his poems that
could almost pull the reader right out of their chair and place them in the... Show more content on

The first thing I had learned about Hayden s style before I began reading his actual poems was
that he frequently used first person point of view. Many critics mimic the same thoughts when
they discuss how a large majority of his poems were based on his personal experience. He uses
his recollection of himself in relation to something else: other characters, different experiences,
and even through works of art. He tends to reflect back on numerous times of his childhood. They
are clearly personal and some almost seem biographical as he remembers his past and his family as
he grew older. These writing are not usually happy for him or easy to put on paper for everyone to
see. They seem to bring up pain, guilt, sorrow and a sense of suffering. His writings reflect what he
feels on the inside: lost identity, loneliness, and his longing need for attention.
In Those Winter Sundays Hayden tells a story about a son looking back at his father during his
childhood. The poem describes a father that through words doesn t necessarily show love or
affection towards his family. It captures the need of love from a distant father to his child. Through
reading this poem, it is discovered that the love the son was looking for was always present it was
just communicated more through the fathers efforts and less through the type of tenderness that is
expected from a child. He explains in small details his fathers suffering. The man

Factors Going Into The Afghan War
Introduction
Conflicts exist in all sizes. There are conflicts between neighbors about trees, there are conflicts
between children about toys, there are conflicts between politicians about opinions, and there are
conflicts between nations. A conflict, in essence, is a disagreement. Conflicts vary. Some are like
the China/Norway conflict after a Chinese criminal got the Nobel Peace Prize thanks to his fight
for democracy. China boycotts Norway in trading, while Norway doesn t see the problem as the
Nobel Committee is independent and not controlled by the state. Other conflicts are more serious,
like the one between the U.S. and Afghanistan (Taliban). After 9/11, USA entered Afghanistan to
find Osama bin Laden, whom Taliban was protecting.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Tensions begin
In September 2001, nearly 3000 were killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The man behind was said
to be Osama Bin Laden, the leader of al Qaeda, and there was major international pressure on
Afghan leaders to hand over Bin Laden. When Afghanistan refused, the U.S. decided to use armed
forces, and in October they initiated aerial attacks, targeting al Quaeda fighters as well as the
Taliban. In November 2001 the Taliban were overthrown by the Northern Alliance, an Afghan
fighter group, with the aid and support of the U.S., as well as other countries including the United
Kingdom, and the Northern Alliance gained control over Kabul.
Current Situation
Twelve years later, Afghanistan remains a dangerous place, and British, as well as other countries
troops are still present in Afghanistan, fighting the Taliban, who continue to carry out surprise
attacks, causing deaths amongst both armed forces and civilians. Afghanistan is torn by chronic
instability; after being subject to decades of conflict its economy and infrastructure is in ruins,
many Afghans are refugees, and the government struggles to extend authority beyond the capital,
and there is little sense of national unity.
Parties Involved
In the Afghanistan war, the two main involved parts are the Taliban and the NATO countries. The
Taliban had been ruling Afghanistan for several years, and they did not want to just give their
power to the intruders. Their goal is

Nelson Mandela
Nelson Mandela s Values
It will be hard to believe if a person says A man who served twenty seven years in prison, turned
out to be one of the greatest presidents our world has seen . Well this did actually happen and this
former president is still living today. Nelson Mandela was born on July 18, 1918 in Transkei, South
Africa, he was a leader of the anti apartheid movement in the 1940s. Mandela was jailed for 27
years for acts of sabotage against the South African state, and shortly after his release from prison
he led a multi racial party for the first time ever in South Africa s history. By doing this he was
elected as the first black/democratic president of South Africa. Throughout his years as a president

Throughout his battle against apartheid and helping to bring democracy to South Africa, Mandela
adopted a democratic leadership style (Johnson). And according to Johnson Democratic leaders set
policies through group discussion and decision, encouraging and helping group members to
interact, requesting the cooperation of others and this was exactly what Mandela did (Johnson).
Mandela s other key value that supported his leadership and democratic style was his strong
disapproval for injustice. Mandela never tolerated injustice; he believed that justice was the only
path to success. For instance, when Mandela got to Robin Island where he was to be imprisoned,
he was told to jog to the prison gate. He firmly refused and started a hunger strike with other
inmates to condemn the condition they were living in. This worked out in their favor and the
conditions improved (Hume). This example highlights Mandela s value for denouncing injustice
and oppression. Nonetheless, Mandela believed Consensus to be the superior decision making
process to build commitment and motivation in group members toward group objectives. Using
Consensus meant that justice would be served at its best when making a decision and Mandela
fully supported this process (Johnson).
Ultimately, Nelson Mandela is viewed as a revolutionary leader for his ability to empower and
motivate others using his strong regard for consensus and the

The Battle Against The War On Terrorism
What Now? An analysis of the responses to the Senate Report on CIA Interrogation
The fight against the war on terrorism has initiated a debate in the United States over the use of
torture and advanced interrogation techniques to extract information needed to protect the safety of
its citizens. In lieu of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, government officials believed that using extensive
force against suspected is justified, especially if such force results in the prevention of future
planned attacks. Others reject torture and the methods used by the government agencies, especially
the CIA, as both unreliable and an affront to legal and civilized norms of behavior. In December of
2014, The Senate Intelligence Committee Report on CIA torture, drafted by the bipartisan United
States Select Committee on Intelligence, brought light to the controversy by unearthing the
methods and techniques used to interrogate detainees, prisoners of war, and suspected terrorists.
The findings have ignited strong opposition and outcry among the citizens, critics of the
government, and foreign nations. The aftermath of this report have prompted two important
questions: Should the CIA be held responsible for its actions and face investigations, prosecution,
and full legal action or should the CIA have the ability to act and determine policies they seem fit
to protect the U.S. from any threats and outside forces?
Torture is defined by the United Nations Convention Against Torture as any act by

Steps to Improve Pronunciation
Steps to improve pronunciation and speak in neutral accent. 1. Listen how native speakers speak
the language. * Listening to and imitating a native speaker is the most important and fastest way to
learn. Remember that when we were young you learned a language by listening and then repeating
the words while imitating the accent. This is called acquiring. Instead of learning, we acquire our
native language through informal processes. In order to speak like the native speakers of English
language, we must use the same way we acquire our first language or mother tongue. 2. Try to
watch some good movies that can improve your overall communicative skills. * Watch movies in

So, by recording or own speech, we can see how good our speaking ability is. For some people, it
s shameful if another person correct us while interacting with him/her. So, this is the perfect
way to self correct our mistakes. 7. Increase your reading ability by going through newspapers
and magazines. * Reading is the most efficient way of learning the new language like English.
As an adult, we will find most of the sources of our supply of new words in books and
magazines. If our reading today is largely restricted only to the quick perusal of daily news
papers, then we will have to change your habits. If our aim is to have superior vocabulary, we
will have to make the time to read at least one book and several magazines every week. Not this
week and the next week, but every week for the rest of our life. We must have a target on how
many books we want to read per year. This will be a habit for us and we will be addicted to
reading. We should go as slow as possible to understand the meaning behind what we read. 8.
Learn sounds of English. Familiarize with vowel and consonant sounds. * Vowel and consonant
sounds in English might not be the same as our native language. For example, in English the c
sound is pronounced as hard as the k in Malay language. So, by knowing the sound patterns, we will
have the accurate pronunciation of the words in English. Besides that, by learning the sound

A Room With A View Analysis
A Room with a View is a 1908 novel written by E.M. Forster about Lucy Honeychurch, a young
Englishwoman struggling to determine what she truly wants in a society that has strict
expectations for her. While vacationing in Italy, Lucy gets a taste of independence and excitement
as well as meeting her true love George Emerson, only to return to England and become engaged
to Cecil Vyse, a man her family and society deems socially acceptable, but who in reality is dull
and pretentious. Forster contrasts the scenery, culture, and people of Italyand England to
demonstrate how Lucy was able find happinesswhen she ignored familial and societal expectations
and instead listened to what she truly wanted. Italy and England and Lucy s experiences... Show

He views her as a piece of artwork to be owned not a thinking person and is annoyed when she
exhibits her own ideas. For example, Cecil is taken aback by Lucy s distaste for Reverend Eager.
He compares her behavior to seeing the Leonardo on the ceiling of the Sistine (Forster 81).
Overall, Italy provides Lucy with excitement and independence, and upon returning to England
she finds herself to be stifled by its dull familiarity and stiff expectations. On the whole, the
contrast between the two places contributes to the meaning of the work by emphasizing the
importance of defying social convention and expectations in order to discover one s true desires
and happiness. By showing Italy, with its less defined classes and lack of social rigidity, as
bright and exciting, Forster shows how rewarding it is to ignore social roles and be independent.
In Italy, Lucy was able to be independent and explore, therefore making her time in Italy much
more exciting than in England. Similarly, the scenery itself if depicted as more vibrant. The
contrast between Italy s excitement and England s familiarity emphasize how much more
interesting life is for Lucy when she is taking charge. Forster also contrasts the people of Italy and
England. The Italians are very genuine and go after what they want, as opposed to the English
whose actions are dictated by what other may think. An example would be when Phaethon, their

Laine Sterbenz, A Student From The University Of Kentucky
Laine Sterbenz, a student from the University of Kentucky and popular blogger on Odyssey,
concludes that skinny models give girls and women motivation to live healthier lifestyles in a way
no other body type could. In her post, she argues that models have that skinny body that is desired
by every girl, the ideal to work to attain. She then continues into saying that if overweight models
were to be used, or even average sized ones, then women wouldn t actually have the motivation to
want to eat better and live a healthier life, because they would already be satisfied with how they
look. While Sterbenz brings up valid points, she weakens the argument by contradicting her own

She herself even says although some models may not live the healthy lifestyle, all models have the
healthy body and skinny body shape that every girl wants (Sterbenz), which blatantly implies that
it is fine to expose yourself to an unhealthy living style, like models do, just so you can attain that
ideal body. It is estimated that around 31.2% of models have or have had an eating disorder, and
around 48.7% do fasts , cleanses or otherwise restrict their food intake over short periods to lose
weight (The Model Alliance). So, if these so called ideals when it comes to body image go to
such extremes in order to attain, or maintain, their slim bodies, what kind of message does it
send to women to say they should emulate them? In defense of her stance, Sterbenz asks, in a
sort of sarcastic way, if skinny models are really damaging our society, to which the response is
clearly yes, as represented by the fact that in just three years exposure to Western imagery, the
island of Becker s percentage of teens who made themselves throw up to control their weight had
risen from zero to more than 11 percent (Barclay). This is an astonishing, and frankly disturbing
feat, which truly shows the power these images have over people.
In any case, as opposed to other body types, skinny models provide unrealistic ideals and lowers
the self esteem of young girls and women. When advertising utilizes skinny models, it sets these

Sports Are So Personal, Athletes
Normal people from all over the world can challenge themselves to become stronger, faster, and
push to work harder, sports are a means to get oneself there.. One of the nice things about sports
is that each [person] can express [themselves] at [their] own level (2) and in their own way.
Because action sports are so personal, athletes love what they do. At the end of the day extreme
athletes, and those that are physically active, feel more accomplished and they desire to get
back out there again and again because they love to explore and express themselves in their life
style choices. If people never had a desire to become more, imagine how boring the world would
be; nevertheless, because of action athletically minded people great changes are made daily.
Athletes generally do have thrill seeking personalities, says Frank Farley, a professor of
psychology at Philadelphia s Temple University, who coined the term Type T to describe such
people. But many Type Ts are the opposite of reckless, Farley says. Those who live prepare for
their sports, he says. They don t want to die. They want the challenges, the creativity, and the
risky experiences. So they prepare. Type Ts do push the envelope, not just in sports but in
science and the arts, Farley says. And while some Type Ts push it in negative ways, such as by
taking drugs or committing crimes, many others are society s creators and innovators. If we didn t
have these people, we d be back in the cave, Farley

Hieronymus Bosch Death And The Miser
The Death and the Miser is a painting by Hieronymus Bosch, who was a Dutch artist of the Late
Gothic style, known as the Early Renaissance. The Death and the Miser was painted in 1490 A.D.
and is a moral tale warning anyone who has grabbed at life s pleasures without being sufficiently

different vision of moments before death through subject mater, color, line, composition, and

In Hieronymus Bosch painting, Death and the mister the subject matter is dark and chilling. The
painting takes place in a miser s bedroom. In the middle of the room there is a long extravagant
bed. There is a pale boy sitting up I the bed looking frightened who is the miser. His left arm is

This balance evenly divides heaven from hell and the misers decision to decide his eternal faith.

Communism And Its Effect On Society
Man has sought out the perfect form to administer government action and beliefs.. They came up
with the idea of Capitalism. Others found that those who were divine should rule. Others sought
after a government that offered programs and reforms to the populous and called in socialism.
Some thought about having the church run the government, but the theory that many people strive
to accomplish is communism. Communism has been tried again and again. The only difference
was the people leading the revolutions. The theory to run a government known as communism
has been around since the 1840s. This form of government seems great on paper, but fall through
after time has past and the government is able to establish itself. Just like a coin, communism has
two sides to it. The one side is the idea that everyone is truly equal and their is no class difference
at all. While the other side is that almost everyone is equal. Karl Marxwho thought of the theory
believed that this form of government was the best form of government and explained it in his
book the Communist Manifesto. While the british author George Orwell s sought against this form
of government because he saw what happened when communism becomes the part of the
government.. In his novel 1984 even though it s a fictional world he demonstrates what
communism turns into. He shows that it always turn into an oppressive dictatorship or oligarchy.

Aspartic Acid Synthesis Essay
Aspartame is a widely used artificial sweetener that is approximately 180 200 times sweeter than
sucrose, natural sugar. Because of this, it is typically used in foods and beverages branded as diet
(Humphries, Pretorius, and NaudГ©, 2008). As time passes, more and more studies are being
conducted on the harmful effects of this food additive on astrocytes and neurons. When ingested,
aspartame is metabolized into phenylalanine (50%), aspartic acid (40%), and methanol (10%),
which each affect neuronal cells differently (Ashok, Sheeladevi, and Wankhar, 2014). According to
Rycerz and ElЕјbieta Jaworska Adamu (2013), the excess phenylalanine blocks the transport of

Aspartic acid is a precursor to the commonly used amino acid and neurotransmitter, glutamate.
Glutamate is typically present in the body for neurons to use, but the excess glutamate presented
from the breakdown of aspartic acid causes over excitation of amino acid receptors, EAAT 1
(GLAST), EAAT 2 (GLT 1) and EAAT 3 (Rycerz and ElЕ
јbieta Jaworska Adamu, 2013). Excitation
of these receptors induces fast, constant action potentials and release of neurotransmitters at the
axon terminal; this requires both the depletion of the cell s ATP storage and the uptake of Ca2+
ions (which leads to the release of the neurotransmitters). However, an influx of calcium ions in a
cell can lead to mitochondrial calcium overload the subsequent permeabiltiy of the mitochondrial
membrane. Eventually, the cell membrane will permeate as well and reactive oxygen species
(ROS) will be released, causing oxidative stress and further damage to surrouding neurons (Ghandi
and Ambrov, 2011). This phenomenon is known as exocytoxicity and is directly responsible for the
death of dopaminergic neurons, which leads to decreased dopamine levels, decreased
communication from the substantia nigra, and, likely, Parkinson s Disease. The last metabolite,
methanol, may cause harm to neurons as well by inducing metabolic acidosis from the conversion
to formic acid, though it likely does not have a major

The Art to Influence Advertisements in television, movie, drama, and every aspect of

Various animal care centers and foster homes advertise an emotional appeal to influence the

that helps the mass to influence or connect with the product. Most of the advertisement, movies

Successful Law Enforcement Agency Management
Rank does not confer privilege or give power. It imposes responsibility. (Peter Drucker) An
effective manager can be the difference between a successful law enforcement organization or its
failure. There are several theories on effective management in law enforcement and the business
world alike. Some of those theories can cross over and be helpful for a law enforcementmanager. A
manager can have the knowledge of all theory relative to law enforcement management, but without
understanding several key concepts, the manager will in turn not be effective. An effective law
enforcement manager is responsible for far more than just managing employees, unlike the business
world. Effective law enforcement managers decisions likely impact the safety of the citizens within
the jurisdiction, and that is the greatest responsibility. There are several components that will allow
a law enforcement manager to be effective. Out of those components there are three primaries that
are of upmost concern. Those three components are effective communication, organizational skills,
and empowerment. The number one component that will make a law enforcement manager
successful and in turn will make the agency successful is communication. Effective communication
is the most important element for any successful law enforcement agency. The law enforcement
manager must be able to successfully communicate his or her desires, wants, and goals throughout
the entire organization. Many people problems

Improving Feeding Outcomes in the NICU:
Establishing an Infant Driven Feeding Pathway
Laura Pabich BSN, RN
The University of Iowa College of Nursing Improving Feeding Outcomes in the NICU:
Establishing an Infant Driven Feeding Pathway
The most common reason preterm infants face prolonged hospitalization in a Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU) is a delay in acquiring full oral feedings (Shaker, 2013). The purpose of this
project is to improve feeding outcomes for preterm infants at Blank Children s Hospital s (BCH)
NICU in Des Moines, Iowa. Traditionally, feeding practices in the NICU have followed a
physician led, volume driven model based on an infant s weight and gestational age. This model
defines a preterm infant s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Feeding difficulties often persist past NICU discharge with an incidence ranging from 19 to 80
percent (Shaker, 2013; Sundseth, 2013). The average daily cost for NICU care often exceeds
$3,500 per infant and a delay in establishing full oral feedings further increases the cost of care
(Murakas, 2008). Delayed discharge also places infants at risk for hospital related morbidity, leads
to prolonged maternal child separation and increases parental stress (Gennattasio, Perri, Baranek,
Rohan, 2015).
Preterm infants face a number of challenges in attaining full oral feedings including physiologic
instability, neurologic immaturity and behavioral state disorganization (Gennattasio, Perri,
Baranek, Rohan, 2015). The time in which preterm infants are learning to feed is characterized
by rapid motor and neurodevelopment in which every feeding experience plays a role (Shaker,
2013). Physiologic stress during feeding may encourage sensory motor pathways in the brain,
leading to maladaptive feeding behaviors, learned feeding refusals and long term feeding
aversions (Shaker, 2013). Traditional, volume driven feeding practices fail to account for an infant
s hunger cues, the physiologic stress caused by the challenge of oral feeding and the quality of an
individual feeding (Newland, Weems L Huillier, Petrey, 2013). According to Sundseth Ross and
Browne (2013), feeding practices must move from

Persuasive Essay On Seatbelts
Seat Belts and School Busses The question we all should be asking ourselves is if its illegal for
you and your child to not wear a seatbelt in a vehicle? Then why would I put my child on a bus
without a seat bealt? By law the bus driver wears a seatbelt but your young child is sitting in the
seat right behind them without a seatbelt, or a car seat. In my opinion we should have seatbelts on
the school buss. If there s not as many accidents reported for school busses then seatbelts shouldn t
be a problem on school busses. Recently the news has been full of school busaccidents where
children have been seriously injured or killed. Those who are for seat belts in school buses are

A school bus skids on black ice, leaves the road and rolls into the ditch on its side. All 55 students
on board are belted. The gas tank ruptures and there is danger of fire and explosion. The frantic
bus driver begins to help students out of their seat belts. She opens the emergency exit and
encourages the children she has helped to exit the bus. Other drivers stop and try to help the
children to safety. Fire erupts. The driver and half of the children are trapped inside the bus.
This last scenario is bleak but it could happen. One driver cannot be held responsible for getting
so many students out of seat belts should a tragic accident occur. Are students safer in a school
bus if they are belted in? It all depends on the circumstances. Let s look at some other pros and
cons of seat belts in school buses.
Pros
Education children to buckle up.
Seat belts often prevent litigation.
Using seat belts improves behavior on school buses.
Installation of seat belts in school buses would cost less than $2.00 per child a small price to pay
to prevent serious injury or death.
Seat belts prevent students from being thrown out of their seats if their bus is involved in an
accident.
Cons
School buses have an excellent safety record. Therefore seat belts are not a necessary

Urinary Incontinence And Its Effects On Women
Approximately seventy percent of people experience urinary incontinence (UI) as a result of being
admitted into the hospital. Urinary incontinence is more prevalent in elderly people, and
predominantly affects women more often than men. Urinary incontinence can be is described as the
uncontrolled loss of urine, and can be broken down into five different types. The first type of urinary
incontinenceis stress incontinence, which occurs when there is involuntary emission of urine due
to coughing, sneezing, or applying any increased pressure to the abdominal region. The second
type is urge incontinence, which is when a person has a strong need to void, the bladder then
spasms, and the person experiences a spontaneous loss of urine. The third type of incontinence
that a person may experience is referred to as mixed incontinence. A person may experience a
combination of symptoms from any of the five types of incontinence. The fourth type of
incontinence is overflow incontinence. Typically a person s bladder fills completely, often without
the urge to void, resulting in urinary dribbling. Lastly, there is functional incontinence. During this
type of incontinence a person is generally aware of the urge to void, but due to some physical or
mental deficit, a person has the inability to make it to the restroom. This poses many problems for
both the patient and for the hospitals. As the numbers for UI continue to rise, the risk for falls will

Role of Violence in the History of Cinema
Violence plays a major role in the history of cinema. Both Alfred Hitchcock and Quentin
Tarantino have produced a litany of films that have imagery or plots that include violent acts.
However, their different directorial visions and styles make it so that Hitchcock and Tarantino
films are nothing alike. This is because Hitchcock s objective was to make the audience feel
afraid, tense, and anxious for the protagonist, whereas Tarantino s objective is to illustrate the
absurdity of violence by elevating the macabre to the level of humor. Both Hitchcock and Tarantino
are brilliant directors who use violence in their films to achieve a desired effect.
These two directors differ in that Hitchcock avoids showing any blood, guts, and gore, whereas
Tarantino is determined to show blood, guts, and gore. Alfred Hitchcocks movies rarely if ever
show violence in an explicit manner. Violence is only suggested, which has a poignant impact on
the viewer. The viewer knows that violence is lurking around the corner; because the viewer does
not see anything happen, the fear lingers in the air. This is as true for North By Northwest and
Psycho as it is for The Birds. In these films, violence does not happen in an overt way, and yet the
audience feels afraid and anxious. Tarantino, on the other hand, does not intend for the audience to
feel fear. In films like Pulp Fiction, and the Kill Bill series, Tarantino presents violence completely
unhindered. Severed limbs and other overtly gory

The Hybridization Of Baroque Art
The Baroque period of the 1600 and 1750s began in Europe and defined the art of the time
(Stechow 111). Spain s quest for the unity and assimilation to Spanish culture of its subjects in the
Americas led to the systematic suppression and destruction of the indigenous cultures of the
regions, such as the Aztecs and the Incans. Baroque art was only supposed to be another aspect of
Spanish culturefor the indigenous population to assimilate to (Gauvin 4, 33 34). However, the
Baroque period created an atmosphere in the Americasthat led to a blending of the Spanish and
indigenous cultures. The subsequent art and architecture that was created was a hybrid formed
from the cultures coinhabiting the area. This hybrid form has been characterized as a hidden
inscription of difference within the fictional sameness of official culture, as rebellious graffiti
camouflaged in the forest of baroque symbols (Salgado 317 318). It provided a place for the people
of Latin Americato subtly celebrate and preserve their heritage that Spain was threatening. To
understand the significance of the cultural impact that the hybridization of Baroque art had on
culture in the Spanish colonies of the New World, we must first define what hybridization of an art
form means. Then we will investigate what constitutes baroque art and why it was so conducive to
being hybridized. To further the understanding of the hybridization, we will examine the painting

when Canada gained independence from the British Empire, the oppression continued and still goes

Temptation, Blame, Forgiveness, and an Apple
Genesis the book of the beginning of man, according to some religions. In this book, the age old
story of Adam and Eve is recorded. The book tells of the first two humans on earth performing the
original sin by eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge in the sacred Garden of Eden. While
this story may seem clear cut, humans always have different perspectives on the messages to take
away from stories. Sometimes, these differing views are expressed in the form of art. The paintings
Adam and Eve by Michelangelo and Adam and Eve by Cranach both portray the biblical story of
the first humans betrayal of God. As shown by the composition of the paintings, as well as the
actions of the figures, Cranach s couple seem to be unintentionally sinning, while Michelangelo s
Adam and Eve appear to be purposeful in their actions. Cranach s placement of the figures draws
the observer s eye to the apple instead of the serpent, implying that there are subtle manipulations
taking place. On the other hand, Michelangelo s painting takes the viewer s eye to Eve directly
taking the apple from a much larger serpent s hand, implying a much more direct intervention from
Satan. Both paintings show how easily humans are influenced by temptation; this idea is a common
theme across history, and it will be a theme as long as humanity continues to exist.

The fact of the matter is, technology is not going anywhere, so we need to figure out a way to put
an end to cyber bullies. Cyber bullying is becoming a major problem and we all... Show more

Anything sent out into cyberspace is very difficult, sometimes impossible, to remove. Therefore,
being cyber bullied can sometimes be much more severe than traditional bullying. Ann Frisen in the
article, Cyber bullying: A Growing Problem states, This type of bullying can be more serious than
conventional bullying. At least with conventional bullying the victim is left alone on evenings and
weekends (ScienceDaily).
What exactly is cyber bulling ? The author of the article, What is Cyberbullying: Bullying Comes
Home explains it as, any harassment that occurs via the Internet (Hardcastle). Cyber bulling
messages can be communicated through text, e mails, instant messaging, web pages, blogs, chat
rooms, or any other information communication technologies. For example, Michigan s assistant
attorney general, who is a grown adult, has been harassing the University of Michigan s openly gay
student body president. Andrew Shirvell, assistant Michigan attorney general, created a blog in
April of 2010 targeting Chris Armstrong, University of Michigan s student body president. On this
blog he has posted many rude, untrue, and unnecessary comments towards Chris Armstrong, along
with distorted pictures. According to the article, Assistant Michigan AG targets openly gay college

Walt Whitman s Song Of The Open Road
According to Generation Zs to be an American means to have freedom and to be able to make
choices that will benefit you, your family and your nation. Walt Whitman shares a similar view
of being an american in his poem Song Of The Open Road written in 1856. Walt Whitman
illustrates his view of being an American through his use of symbolism and imagery. An example
from the Song of the Open Road of symbolism is the road he is describing the path we take
through life. Textual evidence from the poem Song of the Open Road lines 16 and 17 shows the
freedom we have of being an American. Some might argue that Langston Hughes view of being an
American is closer to Generation Zs view than Walt Whitman. In the Poem Dream

Business Maths Statistics Assignment 1

EXCEL PART B. QA). The pie charts show that a higher percentage of the male gender has tried
the product in comparison to the female gender. Over 50% of both genders have tried the
product. However, the fact that the percentage of males who tried the product is higher, suggests
that gender does play a role in whether the people will try the product. Yet the role genders play
is small, because the difference between the percentage of females who tried the product and
males who tried the product is small at only 7%. However, since the graphs do not compare the
genders within the total sample surveyed and are only a percentage of each specific gender, more...

The type of data itself is nominal not numerical. The income of both males and females is not as
accurate as we would like, because it has been collected within large income ranges, for example
$0 to $25,000. Therefore to use the data, midpoints must be found, doing this has caused the data
to become very general and does not show specifics on income levels per person. The incomes
are shown on the graph as midpoints which have a large range within them. This further shows
that the information is too general for many business applications and decision making. The graph
has narrowed down the five income midpoints of interest to three. These three income midpoints
were $12,500 $37,500 $62,500. However exactly what income levels within these ranges have not
been determined. This means that the information is vague. The information would be more
useful if specific income levels and have tried frequencies per income were investigated. The
graph would be more useful if it showed actual income levels and numbers of people within that
income level who had tried the product. It only tells us the midpoint which has a large range and
therefore, the information is quite general. This information would be fine if we wanted to target
general income groups but it would be insufficient if we wanted to determine specific income
levels who have tried the product, as we do not know what that income level

Examples Of Poverty In To Kill A Mockingbird
Racism and Poverty in the South: An analysis of the writing of To Kill a Mockingbird Harper
Lee s Novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, is the perfect example of a novel based off of the racism and
poverty that occurred in the south in the 30s. To Kill a Mockingbird was written by Harper Lee.
She was inspired and influenced by the Great Depression, Jim Crow Laws, and the Murder of
Emmett Till, all of which involve either racism or poverty. First off, the Great Depression
influenced Harper Lee s writing so much that she included it in the book. For example, at school,
when Scout s class is having lunch, Walter Cunningham does not have a lunch because the
Cunningham s cannot afford for their children to bring lunches to school for they live on

  • 2. How Anti Forensic Tools Work As Well As Looking At The... 1.Introduction The aim of this report is to investigate where and how anti forensic tools work as well as looking at the challenges forensic investigators are faced when such tools are used. After anti forensic tools are used certain artefacts will be left behind, this report will also cover the procedures and difficulties when trying to uncover these artefacts as well as the tools used to find them. Anti Forensic (AF) techniques are the actions which are aimed to prevent forensic investigators analysing the case effectively since the AF tools are used to reduce or the quantity and quality of useful information. Anti forensics is yet to have its own definition however this is expected as it is still a relatively unexplored field despite the fact cybercrime levels are growing every day. There have been several AF definitions defined however these definitions only focus on certain parts of anti forensics. Peron and Legary came to a definition which I feel fits which is limit the identification, collection, collation and validation of electronic data. (Peron and Legary, 2005). Data is hiding is used to essentially removing data from view so it is far less likely to be uncovered meaning that it won t be used in the forensic investigation. According to him, self efficacy develops over time and experience, thus, from infancy and continues throughout our life span. Since 1997 to now. There has been a lot of studies been than around self efficacy in many fields that relate employee quality of work life. These may include salary, job satisfaction, promotions, and other incentives to work performance (Pajares, 1997 .The concept of Self efficacy has become an interesting area of studies especially in the European continent, however its importance is not ruled out from the African and other continents. In our day to day activities, and at our various occupational centres, we are familiar with statements such as, you need to be efficient at your task, because we have to meet deadlines or I like your work output, you are efficient at your job , and many others. According to Bandura s theory, self efficacy can be seen in two ways. Thus, efficacy expectation and outcome expectancy. • 5. Some Facts and My Opinion of High Fructose Corn Syrup I hope all is well with you. Thank you for asking my opinion about high fructose corn syrup. Rest assure I do not want you to be concerned, I will try to explain it as much as I can. Let me start by explaining to you what high fructose syrup means in comparison to regular sugar. HFCS is composed of a mix of glucoseand fructose(Beil). This same chemical components are also found in regular table sugar. Table sugar also has another name called sucrose. It has a linear ring structure with three to seven carbon atoms (Phelan 854). To make it easier on you to understand, we eat sugar it breaks down in our stomach as glucose and fructose (Busken 112 113). If the breakdown of HFCS and sugar is compared you will find that HFCS gives the better opportunity of using in food (Busken 112 113). The digestion of sugar is 50/50, while the breakdown of HFCS is 42% fructose and 55% glucose (Busken 112 113). The remaining 3% are chains of saccharides (Busken 112 113). Now looking into the graph that you sent me I do not think that high fructose corn syrup is the main cause of obesity. Through my understanding of the readings I have read that interacting with a substance does not necessarily mean that it is the cause of it. Throughout the years Americans have developed a bigger appetite and specifically a sweet tooth (Beil). The graph demonstrates that between 1975 2000 the high fructose corn syrup intake rose frequently. In between the same years, obesity has rise and fallen multiple ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

My family there spoke very little (if not any) english, so I always wondered the fun of communicating with them by speaking Czech. I told myself on the plane ride back to the US that I would learn Czech in order to talk with my familythe next time. The second time I went to Europe, we not only went to the Czech Republic, but to Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and Poland. A simple Spanish menu in every English restaurant could make an impact on anyone in the daily public. For those like Rodriguez, I think learning more than one language should not feel forceful nor fearful, but an optional opportunity for more knowledge in another culture and identity. Personally, I felt less fear and pressure to learn czech when I saw the English subtitles. The subtitles helped me understand the Czech language more when I compared it to my own English language. Hayden has an enormous amount of great poems and short stories, but as I read through many of them, I was touched by two specific poems that I felt I could personally relate to. I chose these poems because I am able to put myself into the story line and understand what the writer is talking about. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The first thing I had learned about Hayden s style before I began reading his actual poems was that he frequently used first person point of view. Many critics mimic the same thoughts when they discuss how a large majority of his poems were based on his personal experience. He uses his recollection of himself in relation to something else: other characters, different experiences, and even through works of art. He tends to reflect back on numerous times of his childhood. They are clearly personal and some almost seem biographical as he remembers his past and his family as he grew older. These writing are not usually happy for him or easy to put on paper for everyone to see. They seem to bring up pain, guilt, sorrow and a sense of suffering. His writings reflect what he feels on the inside: lost identity, loneliness, and his longing need for attention. In Those Winter Sundays Hayden tells a story about a son looking back at his father during his childhood. The poem describes a father that through words doesn t necessarily show love or affection towards his family. It captures the need of love from a distant father to his child. Through reading this poem, it is discovered that the love the son was looking for was always present it was just communicated more through the fathers efforts and less through the type of tenderness that is expected from a child. Mandela s other key value that supported his leadership and democratic style was his strong disapproval for injustice. Mandela never tolerated injustice; he believed that justice was the only path to success. For instance, when Mandela got to Robin Island where he was to be imprisoned, he was told to jog to the prison gate. He firmly refused and started a hunger strike with other inmates to condemn the condition they were living in. This worked out in their favor and the conditions improved (Hume). This example highlights Mandela s value for denouncing injustice and oppression. An analysis of the responses to the Senate Report on CIA Interrogation The fight against the war on terrorism has initiated a debate in the United States over the use of torture and advanced interrogation techniques to extract information needed to protect the safety of its citizens. In lieu of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, government officials believed that using extensive force against suspected is justified, especially if such force results in the prevention of future planned attacks. Others reject torture and the methods used by the government agencies, especially the CIA, as both unreliable and an affront to legal and civilized norms of behavior. In December of 2014, The Senate Intelligence Committee Report on CIA torture, drafted by the bipartisan United States Select Committee on Intelligence, brought light to the controversy by unearthing the methods and techniques used to interrogate detainees, prisoners of war, and suspected terrorists. The findings have ignited strong opposition and outcry among the citizens, critics of the government, and foreign nations. The aftermath of this report have prompted two important questions: Should the CIA be held responsible for its actions and face investigations, prosecution, and full legal action or should the CIA have the ability to act and determine policies they seem fit to protect the U.S. from any threats and outside forces? Overall, Italy provides Lucy with excitement and independence, and upon returning to England she finds herself to be stifled by its dull familiarity and stiff expectations. On the whole, the contrast between the two places contributes to the meaning of the work by emphasizing the importance of defying social convention and expectations in order to discover one s true desires and happiness. It is estimated that around 31.2% of models have or have had an eating disorder, and around 48.7% do fasts , cleanses or otherwise restrict their food intake over short periods to lose weight (The Model Alliance). Because of this, it is typically used in foods and beverages branded as diet (Humphries, Pretorius, and NaudГ©, 2008). As time passes, more and more studies are being conducted on the harmful effects of this food additive on astrocytes and neurons. When ingested, aspartame is metabolized into phenylalanine (50%), aspartic acid (40%), and methanol (10%), which each affect neuronal cells differently (Ashok, Sheeladevi, and Wankhar, 2014). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Aspartic acid is a precursor to the commonly used amino acid and neurotransmitter, glutamate. Glutamate is typically present in the body for neurons to use, but the excess glutamate presented from the breakdown of aspartic acid causes over excitation of amino acid receptors, EAAT 1 (GLAST), EAAT 2 (GLT 1) and EAAT 3 (Rycerz and ElЕ јbieta Jaworska Adamu, 2013). Excitation of these receptors induces fast, constant action potentials and release of neurotransmitters at the axon terminal; this requires both the depletion of the cell s ATP storage and the uptake of Ca2+ ions (which leads to the release of the neurotransmitters). However, an influx of calcium ions in a cell can lead to mitochondrial calcium overload the subsequent permeabiltiy of the mitochondrial membrane. Eventually, the cell membrane will permeate as well and reactive oxygen species (ROS) will be released, causing oxidative stress and further damage to surrouding neurons (Ghandi and Ambrov, 2011). This phenomenon is known as exocytoxicity and is directly responsible for the death of dopaminergic neurons, which leads to decreased dopamine levels, decreased communication from the substantia nigra, and, likely, Parkinson s Disease. • 27. Successful Law Enforcement Agency Management Rank does not confer privilege or give power. It imposes responsibility. (Peter Drucker) An effective manager can be the difference between a successful law enforcement organization or its failure. There are several theories on effective management in law enforcement and the business world alike. Some of those theories can cross over and be helpful for a law enforcementmanager. A manager can have the knowledge of all theory relative to law enforcement management, but without understanding several key concepts, the manager will in turn not be effective. An effective law enforcement manager is responsible for far more than just managing employees, unlike the business world. Effective law enforcement managers decisions likely impact the safety of the citizens within the jurisdiction, and that is the greatest responsibility. There are several components that will allow a law enforcement manager to be effective. Out of those components there are three primaries that are of upmost concern. Improving Feeding Outcomes in the NICU: Establishing an Infant Driven Feeding Pathway Laura Pabich BSN, RN The University of Iowa College of Nursing Improving Feeding Outcomes in the NICU: Establishing an Infant Driven Feeding Pathway The most common reason preterm infants face prolonged hospitalization in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a delay in acquiring full oral feedings (Shaker, 2013). The purpose of this project is to improve feeding outcomes for preterm infants at Blank Children s Hospital s (BCH) NICU in Des Moines, Iowa. Traditionally, feeding practices in the NICU have followed a physician led, volume driven model based on an infant s weight and gestational age. This model defines a preterm infant s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Feeding difficulties often persist past NICU discharge with an incidence ranging from 19 to 80 percent (Shaker, 2013; Sundseth, 2013). The average daily cost for NICU care often exceeds $3,500 per infant and a delay in establishing full oral feedings further increases the cost of care (Murakas, 2008). Delayed discharge also places infants at risk for hospital related morbidity, leads to prolonged maternal child separation and increases parental stress (Gennattasio, Perri, Baranek, Rohan, 2015). Preterm infants face a number of challenges in attaining full oral feedings including physiologic instability, neurologic immaturity and behavioral state disorganization (Gennattasio, Perri, Baranek, Rohan, 2015). The time in which preterm infants are learning to feed is characterized by rapid motor and neurodevelopment in which every feeding experience plays a role (Shaker, 2013). Physiologic stress during feeding may encourage sensory motor pathways in the brain, leading to maladaptive feeding behaviors, learned feeding refusals and long term feeding aversions (Shaker, 2013). Traditional, volume driven feeding practices fail to account for an infant s hunger cues, the physiologic stress caused by the challenge of oral feeding and the quality of an individual feeding (Newland, Weems L Huillier, Petrey, 2013). • 34. Role of Violence in the History of Cinema Violence plays a major role in the history of cinema. Both Alfred Hitchcock and Quentin Tarantino have produced a litany of films that have imagery or plots that include violent acts. However, their different directorial visions and styles make it so that Hitchcock and Tarantino films are nothing alike. This is because Hitchcock s objective was to make the audience feel afraid, tense, and anxious for the protagonist, whereas Tarantino s objective is to illustrate the absurdity of violence by elevating the macabre to the level of humor. Both Hitchcock and Tarantino are brilliant directors who use violence in their films to achieve a desired effect. These two directors differ in that Hitchcock avoids showing any blood, guts, and gore, whereas Tarantino is determined to show blood, guts, and gore. Alfred Hitchcocks movies rarely if ever show violence in an explicit manner. Violence is only suggested, which has a poignant impact on the viewer. The viewer knows that violence is lurking around the corner; because the viewer does not see anything happen, the fear lingers in the air. This is as true for North By Northwest and Psycho as it is for The Birds. In these films, violence does not happen in an overt way, and yet the audience feels afraid and anxious. Tarantino, on the other hand, does not intend for the audience to feel fear. In films like Pulp Fiction, and the Kill Bill series, Tarantino presents violence completely unhindered. Temptation, Blame, Forgiveness, And An Apple Essay Katherine Springer Mrs. Lang Honors Humanities 5th Hour 10 November 2016 Temptation, Blame, Forgiveness, and an Apple Genesis the book of the beginning of man, according to some religions. In this book, the age old story of Adam and Eve is recorded. The book tells of the first two humans on earth performing the original sin by eating an apple from the Tree of Knowledge in the sacred Garden of Eden. While this story may seem clear cut, humans always have different perspectives on the messages to take away from stories. Sometimes, these differing views are expressed in the form of art. The paintings Adam and Eve by Michelangelo and Adam and Eve by Cranach both portray the biblical story of the first humans betrayal of God. As shown by the composition of the paintings, as well as the actions of the figures, Cranach s couple seem to be unintentionally sinning, while Michelangelo s Adam and Eve appear to be purposeful in their actions. Cranach s placement of the figures draws the observer s eye to the apple instead of the serpent, implying that there are subtle manipulations taking place. On the other hand, Michelangelo s painting takes the viewer s eye to Eve directly taking the apple from a much larger serpent s hand, implying a much more direct intervention from Satan. Both paintings show how easily humans are influenced by temptation; this idea is a common theme across history, and it will be a theme as long as humanity continues to exist.
