Summary Of Kelly s Story
1.) After reading Kelly s story I researched different skin infections that may cause a rash on a person.
Four different infections I found were Scabies, Impetigo, also known as Indian Fire, Cellulitis, and
Folliculitis (7). Scabies is a contagious rash caused by the itch mite Sarcoptes scabiei (6). Scabies is a
rash that produces red itchy bumps (6). Impetigo is caused by Staphylococcus and Streptococcus
bacteria (5). Impetigo is extremely contagious and is spread by close contact (5). Cellulitis can be
caused by Staphylococcus and Streptococcus (4). Cellulitis is not contagious but causes a red heated
rash in the area of infection (4). Lastly, Folliculitis was listed as a rash causing infection. Folliculitis is
a skin infection that causes a rash around the hair follicles that look like red pimples (3). Although it
can be caused by certain bacteria, causing damage to the hair follicles can cause this infection (8). The

pollution can also indirectly harm other elements that contribute to the life of a plant and the cycles it

Photosynthesis is the cycle in which light energy converts carbon dioxide and water into glucose and
oxygen by ways of a chemical reaction (Robinson 2015). Photosynthesis , overall a fairly simple
process, has couple complex reactions. To fully understand the cycle, it should be broken down into
two simple stages. These stages can be divided up into light reactions and the Calvin Cycle. In the first
step of photosynthesis, the light reaction, solar energy is converted into the form of chemical energy.
This entails the chlorophyll absorbing light from the sun and transforming it into NADP+ (nicotin
amide ademine dinucleotide phosphate) and ATP, through means of a chemical reaction. During the
second stage, the Calvin cycle, the plant takes in CO2, and processes it through the chloroplast.
Following it converts the carbons into carbohydrates by adding electrons using chemical energy such
as ATP. The end result of this stage is sugar and oxygen. The process of photosynthesis occurs

Letters on Revival is written by The Rev. Charles G. Finney in year 1946 is series of 32 letters
addressed to Ministers of the Gospel and all interested person. It is Finney s Reflections on revival and
revival meetings, written in 1845 46, and distributed in the Oberlin Evangelist, the bi weekly official
publication of Oberlin College, where Rev. Finney was Professor of Theology and in the end,
President of the College. Finney s writing reflects a lot about revival; that it is a method for saving
souls as well as changing people and, eventually, the society. Through revivalism, the church would
introduce the millennial kingdom to the world. Finney acknowledges that revival brought good change
radically and also that Christians ought to be effectively involved in transforming all areas of
community.

Privacy, meaning the right to be left alone, has intellectual roots tracing back to the 19th century. On
December 15, 1890, Samuel D. Warren and Louis D. Brandeis had their article The Right to Privacy
published in the Harvard Law Review. This article was highly regarded as one of the exceptional
examples of the effect legal journals have on American law, and was the first of many future law
review discussions. It is our purpose to consider whether the existing law affords a principle which
can properly be invoked to protect the privacy of the individual; and if it does what the nature and
extent of such protection is (Gregory, Kalven, and Epstein 1133). Warren and Brandeis stressed the
importance and necessity for some form of protection for the private individual when the press is
overstepping their boundaries and the indecency their gossip creates. Several decades later, in August
of 1960, William L. Prosser published his article Privacy in the California Law Review. In this article
he outlined the four classifications of privacy law which are as follows:
1. Intrusion upon the plaintiff s seclusion or solitude, or into his private affairs.
2. Public disclosure of embarrassing private facts about the plaintiff.
3. Publicity which places the plaintiff in a false light in the public eye.
4. Appropriation, for the defendant s advantage, of the plaintiff s name or likeness.
