One of the most trusted health professional roles is that of a pharmacist. Unique to their profession
they are faced with an array of ethical challenges. A Pharmacist is like a gatekeeper to drugs which
give and take life. It is known of some pharmacies to even put their customers health and their well
being above any profits the pharmacy could make. However, there are some that do not, and when this

Austen s novel Pride and Prejudice is often regarded for it s strong representations of feminism, the
novel strongly portrays the Oedipus complex through the Bentley sisters unexpected and contradictory
relationships. The relationship of a child with their parent is one of the strongest influences in one s
later life and relations, so much so that a child is sometimes forced to repress their true desires. The
novel tracks Elizabeth Bennet s relationship with Mr. Darcy, a relationship which endures a stark,
unexpected change that is a result of Elizabeth s Oedipal complex. Initially, Elizabeth detests Mr.
Darcy, as she views him and a narcissistic man with unreasonably high expectations; however, near
the end of the novel, she becomes infatuated with him and the two end up getting married. Mr. Bennet,
Elizabeth s father, is a very soft spoken man who deliberately defies his wife, his female counterpart,
and doesn t seem to openly express his love for his family very often. That is, with the exception of
Elizabeth who happens to be his favorite daughter, as demonstrated throughout the book through his

stereotype that was torn down was that women are not as strong as men. This is proved to be wrong
when they have Morgaine fighting men and actually being victorious. This movie also breaks the
stereotype that women can t be in power. Most women in this movie hold very high positions. For
example, Viviane is the high goddess of Avalon. Also Morgaine is her second in command. Although
this movie breaks some stereotypes it also reinforces them by putting the blame on a women for not
being able to give the king an heir. Although in this case it really is her fault nobody knows this
information and automatically blames her. These are just a few of the reasons that Mist of Avalon
strengthens and breaks through common stereotypes.
