of cleaning the cats kennels and making them presentable to any potential adopters. This consisted of
wiping the outside of the kennels and replacing the cat litter boxes so the cats would have a clean

This interesting love story in the movie is also associated with a great view of art. The movie starts
with an opening montage and some longshots of Parisian landmarks with a partial view of some
artistic monuments in Paris. The entire film shows how wonderful it is to live in a great city of arts
like Paris, and it includes some nice scenes that shows painting, artistic images, and so on. There are
some virtuosic scenes in the film, and the whole film is made with some humanities activities like
music, ballet performances, and painting. Some example of symbolic songs used throughout the film
are Love Is Here to Stay, I Got Rhythm, Wonderful, and Embraceable You. The scene, Our Love Is

The Human Family Tree Chapter Summaries
The topic of where man originated from is often argued between many individuals. This video The
Human Family Tree cleared up many questions I had about where we all came from. I sometimes see
things online saying that a few centuries from now all races will intermingle and this is what we will
soon look like. The video states that technically there is no such thing as race. Race is a modern idea
that was not used back when ancient societies were one. It is crazy to think somehow we are all
related. This idea that we have all originated in Africa came as a surprise considering the physical
differences between all the different cultures that came of the original one in Africa. When you think
about all that goes on in the world today and consider the hate that has occurred in history it makes no

Now in the world there are thousands of different language spoken. The video mentioned how our
physical looks changed but I was interested to know how each different culture was established. There
had to of been an aspect that washed out the previous language and culture for the motivation to form
a new one. The video presented people from backgrounds including Spanish, Native American,
Chinese, and African. When they brought together the hundred of people they swabbed at the festival
in Queens, NY each person was given a flag representing their furthest lineage. All these people from
different walks of color were brought together because they shared one single tiny gene. I thought it

Bryson And Katz Summary
This quote, which can be found in chapter two, serves as the mapping of the relationship between
Bryson and Katz, who were previous travelling buddies. The dialogue between him and his doubtful
wife serve as flashbacks to when the two older friends had traveled to Europe for a time, where they
left mutually disgruntled and no longer friends. It gives the reader a look back into the two to be

Homeless youth are a standout amongst the most underestimated gatherings in our general public.
Numerous specialists recognize much more elevated amounts of different issue practices among these
adolescent contrasted with their non homeless associates. The current study analyzed the utility of
social capital in foreseeing issue practices among homeless youth.
Homelessness is portrayed as circumstances of people or family units without steady, uninterrupted,

Frank Stella Early Childhood
Frank Stella is an American painter/printmaker born on May 12, 1936 in Malden, Massachusetts. His
parents were first generation Italian American parents. Stella s schooling took place at Phillips
Academy in Andover from 1950 1954. While there, he studied painting with the abstractionist Patrick
Morgan. Later, Stella attended Princeton University where he earned a degree in history; Princeton did
not offer a degree in studio art. During his time there, he did take art courses but most of his learning
was from self teaching. His professors, painter Stephen Greene and art historian William Seitz,
introduced Stella to the New York art world. These professors helped to shape Stella s earliest artistic
aesthetic. After graduating Princeton, Stella set up permanent residence in New York. His first
important group showing received almost immediate fame with his Black Paintings. They were a

The Theory The Mind Body Problem
When discussing sex, the philosophical concept of hylomorphism is helpful. Philosophers have
created three philosophical theories in attempt to solve the mind body problem. The mind body
problem looks to explain both mental and physical properties and how they work together or if the two
even work together. Mental properties are things that only you can feel directly. In other words, mental
properties are private like experience, emotion and beliefs. Physical properties include: size, weight,
shape and color. This means physical properties are observable to the public. One theory the mind
body problem has created is materialism. Materialist believe we are one entity made of physical
matter, our body. The second theory the mind body problem has brought about is dualism. Dualists
believe as human beings we are two entities, the body and the soul/mind. This theory also believes
that the real me is the soul/mind. Hylomorphists have a problem with dualists because they see human
beings as one entity with two dimensions, material and formal. Human bodies become human bodies
by being engulfed by the soul [Christopher Shield, 4]. Gabriel Marcel talks about hylomorphism in the
respect of primary and secondary reflection. Primary reflections tends to analyze and dissociate
object(s). This puts a gap between the two objects. On the other hand, secondary reflection sees no gap

Examples Of Suffering In Refugee Blues
How is human suffering presented in Refugee Blues ? Refugee Blues , by W.H. Auden was written six
months before the outbreak of the Second World War; when the Nazis were in power in Germany and
Hitler had called for the removal of Jews. Human suffering is presented in Refugee Blues by using
many different techniques such as similes, repetition, rhyme and metaphor to show the discrimination
of the Jews. Also Auden used a Blues song structure to emphasise the unhappiness of the Jewish
people and their desire to escape from persecution, their loss of identity and their hopelessness. Blues
is originally a type of music with emotional intensity which criticised society and strongly shows the
melancholy feeling similar to the feeling of African American slaves. I believe that Auden understood
and could sympathize with the plight since he visited Germany and was horrified by the persecution of
Jews. Also, as he was homosexual, he may have experienced similar persecution first hand . The

This shows that Auden and his companion are ordinary citizens; allow us as a reader to relate to the

According to the Cambridge Centre for Behaviour Studies, (n.d., P1) Behavioural safety is the
application of behavioural research on human performance to the problems of the safety in the
workplace. Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) is an approach based on research of people s behaviour
(what they do and why they do it) and applies scientific theories into practical problems. (HSA0392,
2017) It is also described as a bottom up approach (H. L. Kaila, 2008), because frontline workers help
manager to observe co worker and make suggestions. For a more broader term, BBS is about everyone
s behaviour, not just the frontline (Agnew and Ashworth, 2012) definition
A BBS approach is based on solid principles (HAS, 2017). Harvard psychologist B.F Skinner (1940s)
is pioneer in this area who discovers the principles of behavioural science. These principles are
applied in institutional and education fields in late 1960s. It is not until 1970s that industrial
applications is in Skinnerian behavioural science. Starting in 1984, Monsanto used Behavioural
methods for accident prevention (Thomas, John, and Stanley,1990) (Rafiq M.Choudhry, 2014) and
Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) has proven to be an effective tool for the reduction workplace
