My audition wasn t believable; I think during the middle of my journey it looks like I ve become
apathetic, especially during a time where I should ve shown how much I wanted this girl.
When I got out of my character (when I disconnected) I stopped listening because I became nervous:
like I stopped acting and all the sudden was aware that I had all these stage lights cameras on me.
I didn t use my environment.
When I m re watching film, I couldn t see myself being authentic in those moments, like that s not
how I would act; knowing myself, I think I d come off as more shy and awkward during this date.
I got lost in the page.
My Criticism: Take everything personally! What s your need! If you re feeling overwhelmed with
remembering the technicalities of preparing for your cold read, as well as taking stage direction, just
focus on the need. Knowing your need is the most important thing that can help you prepare for an
audition.
