How To Solve The Cuban Missile Crisis
In 1959, Cuban nationalist, Fidel Castro, sent his army into Havana and usurped General Batista, the
American supported President. The U.S. State Department and CIA, launched a full out invasion of
Cuba. Unfortunately, the invasion failed, greatly outnumbered by Castro s troops, the invaders
surrendered after less than a day of fighting. This failed invasion on Cuba to seize the Castro regime,
is called the Bay of Pigs invasion. In July of 1962, Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev made a secret
deal with Cuba to handle any future invasions. The benefit to the Soviet s was to place their nuclear
missiles on Cuban soil which was just 90 miles from American shores.
Evidence of the missiles location and its owners being Soviet was quickly discovered by the U.S..
President Kennedy released a public announcement warning the American nation about the dangerous
weapons in Cuba. On the 14th of October, a U.S. U 2 aircraft captured photographs of the sites for
medium and intermediate range of nuclear missiles. The pictures were shown to the White House soon
after and the Cuban Missile Crisis earned its name. The President called for his advisors to help weigh
the options and determine the best course of action for the U.S. that would rightfully solve the issue.
Some advisors argued for an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Self Destruction In Macbeth
The quest for self fulfillment can lead some to their own destructions when these individuals cannot
compromise their goals. Shakespeare uses characters within the play Macbeth to draw attention to the
dangers of relentlessly pursuing the goal of happiness while also presenting the few that have the
ability to compromise their needs as those who ultimately triumph. The idea of constantly pursuing a
goal no matter the consequences or the actions necessary to succeed will only lead to the self
destruction of that individual described by the play Macbeth. Shakespeare reveals characters that
embody their ambitions completely to the full extent where they create a false face (that will) hide

Prosperity After the Civil War
Kellie Bowden
Mr. Strough
APUSH
1 April 2013 During the period of the Civil War, the typical American business was a small, family
owned company and it usually produced goods for a smaller, regional market. However, as the Civil
War ended, big businesses began to dominate the corporate world. Many businesses, such as the
Standard Oil Co. and Carnegie Steel, became monopolies and owned all parts of one particular
industry. These huge firms were able to mass produce their products and sell them not only all over
the country, but also internationally. Due to the huge transformation in the business world, the
economy and politics were affected as well as the American people and unfortunately, these affects
turned out to be more negative ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By smaller businesses not being able to compete, this just gave the already huge companies even more
power. During these years after the Civil War, many Americans struggled. Although the industrial
world boomed, so many people were looking for jobs that many did not have any jobs. For the ones
that happened to have jobs, the working conditions were so atrocious that sometimes it might not have
even been worth it to have a job. As demonstrated in the article titled What Does Labor Want? It
explains the concern of many workers. The passage voices the want of a reform from the workers.
They say that human beings should be treated just as well as every other person in the world. These
workers worked well over 14 hours a day doing very strenuous labor. They pleaded for shorter work
days and better treatment of workers. The people also were fearful of the huge up and coming
businesses. They did not like the power the companies had over the government and economy. The
people knew these businesses had the power to change the prices of all goods to whatever they
wanted. Although there were many corrupt things about the working world, one good thing of it all
was that women were now able to work. Instead of having to sit at home and be a typical housewife
day after day, they were now able to work in some factories and stores. The picture from Document J

The Differences in Josephine and Mrs. Mallard of Kate Chopin s The Story of an Hour
Free! Body and soul free! , Mrs. Mallard kept whispering. One person s ultimate freedom may be seen
as a tragedy to another. Kate Chopin illustrates this idea in The Story of an Hour. The story is set in
the nineteenth century. Chopin uses the death of Mr. Mallard to show the reader Mrs. Mallard s deep
feelings. In the story, Josephine and Mrs. Mallard are sisters. Although the women come from the
same background, live in the same city, and outwardly appear to be satisfied with their lives, their
attitudes are very different. Chopin uses these two women as foil characters in the story. The
differences in the women are seen in their reactions to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Mallard lets the reader know she feels imprisoned by her life as Mrs. Mallard, Mr. Mallard s wife.
Mrs. Mallard feels stifled and bound by her limited opportunities. Josephine and Mrs. Mallard may be
sisters, but they have very different outlooks on a woman s role in society.
The differences in Josephine and Mrs. Mallard are evident in their reactions to the news of Mr.
Mallard s death. Josephine cannot find a ray of hope in Mr. Mallard s death. She is overwhelmed with
sadness. She is very careful how she tells Mrs. Mallard of her husband s death. Josephine uses broken
sentences and veiled hints when telling Mrs. Mallard of Mr. Mallard s death. Josephine knows that
Mrs. Mallard depends on her husband for everything. However, Mrs. Mallard s reaction to the news is
very different. Mrs. Mallard loves her husband. She is saddened by the news, but she is able to see
into the future. She is able to see a future with color and brightness. Mrs. Mallard feels set free from
bondage. She no longer sees a world of restrictions but a world of opportunity and adventure. Her
husband s death brings revival to her soul. Chopin says, Mrs. Mallard is drinking in a very elixir of
life through that open window. The news of Mr. Mallard s death is tragic but brings very different
reactions from Josephine and Mrs. Mallard.
At the end of the story, when Mr. Mallard enters his house, Josephine and Mrs. Mallard respond very

Comparing Tribunes And Julius Caesar
Tribunes and Julius Caesar
Julius Caesar is a great play written by William Shakespeare based on the real life historical
person, the Roman military tribune and dictator Julius Caesar. Caesar was the all powerful ruler
of Rome, who lived from July 12, 100 B.C., until his assassination, which took place March 15,
44 B.C. (Getlen). Shakespeare wrote the play Julius Casear 1600 years later, in 1599.
In reading the play, the reader often comes across words and phrases that are unknown, both
because of the era in which the events took place and because of the era in which the play was
written. One of the words discovered in Act I that an average American high school student
might not use in a typical conversation is tribune. To understand the play, the reader needs to
know this word and more about what life and the political world was like during the time Caesar
was alive. Then the student needs to learn what a tribune did and what his role in society was.
After that, the student can come to understand why the tribunes in the play, Marullus and Flavius,
were worried about Caesar.
According to Merriam Webster, a tribune is a Roman official under the monarchy and the
republic with the function of protecting the plebeian citizen from arbitrary action by the patrician
magistrates (Merriam Webster). Another definition explains a tribune as an officer or magistrate
chosen by the people to protect them from the oppression of the

How to Analyze the Regression Analysis Output from Excel
How to Analyze the Regression Analysis Output from Excel In a simple regression model, we are
trying to determine if a variable Y is linearly dependent on variable X. That is, whenever X changes, Y
also changes linearly. A linear relationship is a straight line relationship. In the form of an equation,
this relationship can be expressed as Y = α + βX + e In this equation, Y is the dependent variable, and
X is the independent variable. α is the intercept of the regression line, and β is the slope of the
regression line. e is the random disturbance term. The way to interpret the above equation is as
follows: Y = α + βX (ignoring the disturbance term e ) gives the average relationship between the
values of Y and X. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The stronger the relationship between the two variables, the closer is the value of R2 to 1. t value: A
rough rule of thumb to determine the significance of X in explaining Y is that the t value of the slope
coefficient, β, should be at least 2. The greater the t value, the more is the evidence that X is
significant in explaining Y. Significance F: The lower this value, the stronger is the evidence that there
is indeed a relationship between X and Y. If this value is less than 0.05, we would be safe in accepting
that there is a relationship between X and Y. P value: Look at the p value of the independent variable
(and not the intercept). If this p value is less than 0.05, we would be safe in accepting that there is a
relationship between X and Y. 95% Confidence Interval: Look at the 95% confidence interval of the
independent variable (not the intercept). If this confidence interval does not contain zero, we would be
safe in accepting that there is a relationship between X and Y. However, if the 95% confidence interval
contains zero, there is a big chance that we would making a mistake by assuming that there is a
relationship between X and

Living Will Essay
Focus on how the situation should be handled by family and physicians, then write down your goals
and wishes and have a qualified person to make the document official. Moreover, advance directives
must be precise with an individual s requests and abide by the laws of that state. Deciding to utilize an
attorney to assist in preparing a living will requires research. When searching for a lawyer, consider
using the following resources to locate attorneys that specialize in advance directives or living wills;
the internet, legal referral agencies, word of mouth from friends or social media, recommendations
from other attorneys or the yellow pages. Those who specialize in living will can better aid in

In some states there are provisions that will not honor living wills pertaining to pregnant women. Case
in point, Marlise Mun ̃oz from Texas was found unconscious at home by her husband, at the time Mrs.
Mun ̃oz was 14 weeks pregnant. A few days later it was determined that Mrs. Mun ̃oz was brain dead.
Although Marlise had advance directives in place, because of laws in the state of Texas, physicians
denied the woman in question requests not to receive life sustaining treatment due to the pregnancy.
Therefore, be sure to ask several questions and gain complete clarity on this subject. When one
decides to write their own living will, it can be incredibly detailed or as simple as the individual
desire. As a result, there are forms developed by one s state that assist in creating living wills. These
forms have many options listed to help an individual devise a clear and precise document revealing
one s end of life requirements. Haman (2004) has provided an example of the information that an
individual can include in a personal living will form: Including coverage for a persistent vegetative
state, even if the person s condition is not terminal; Specifying which medical procedures you do not
want; Determining the use of artificial nutrition and hydration (i.e., the use of gastric tubes and
intravenous feeding); Stating that you do want life prolonging procedures; and, Having spaces for you

Everything is bigger in Texas. That s what a lot of Texans what Americans and people around the
world to know you don t mess with Texas. In the 1950 s, when President Eisenhower created the first
Interstate plan for the country and implemented new roads in almost every single state, it was the
largest engineering feat in the modern world. Now, almost half a century later, Governor Rick Perry is
set to break that record, with the costliest, largest, and most incredible sized proportion Texas Trans

Laredo contains 40% of the United States land ship import traffic. Also, any traveler on the I 35
corridor in Texas runs into hundreds of eighteen wheelers, increasing drivers awareness and causing
disarray for drivers who are trying to see the road in front of them. Perry s answer is to shift the traffic
away from metropolitan areas. If truck drivers can bypass San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, the time to
their destination would probably save them an entire day in travel. Freight rail services could veer
away from San Antonio s railroad yard, an institution bustling with activity in the wee hours of the
morning. Also, commuter rail can solve environmental problems and help families keep in touch
anywhere in the state without the over burdening costs of driving (Perry). Perry s plan begins with the
setup itself: Six, twelve foot vehicle passenger lanes in which the vehicle can travel at 80 miles per
hour; Four, thirteen foot truck lanes; Two tracks for each of the following railroad establishments high
speed rail, commuter rail, and freight rail. No transportation facility exists like this in the modern
world. All of these integrations to modern society are completely bundled into one, and their concept
is all the same relieve traffic in urban centers and create a safe and enjoyable experience through the
Texas countryside without interruption

Clearance Rates In Neighborhood Canvassing
I feel there is a multitude of reasons as to why clearance rates would differ by census region. Some of
those reasons include differences in reporting, problems with evidence collection, and police and
prosecutorial mistakes. That being said, I feel that one of the areas where mistakes happen
compromising the ability to see a case through to arrest is a failure on the part of law enforcement
officers to canvass neighborhoods appropriately. Eyewitness information, questionable at times in its
own right, can be the difference between an arrest and another unsolved case. Although cold cases are
typically reopened and/or solved due to retesting of DNA found at the scene, there have been instances
where witnesses advised that they were never ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The same could be said here. Neighborhood canvassing is a long, drawn out, boring process that
everyone would rather avoid. Going from house to house, business to business, talking to people who
saw nothing, would rather not be involved, or just don t want to talk to the police can be a thankless
job. However, it is the basic skills that solve crimes. Therefore, I feel an intervention that would help
clearance rates would be organized and accountable programs for canvassing. Included in this
program would be an educational portion showing how to effectively interview those who are
reluctant or those who feel they saw nothing but may know more than they think. Also included in this
program would be the reasons why this method is effective and, because who doesn t like stories,
examples where canvassing solved the crime and caught the criminal, as well as examples where
canvassing would have solved the crime if only a department would have dedicated the personnel.
Once departmental training had occurred, I would ensure that a system of checks and balances is in
place. Every contact, or lack thereof, would need a report. These reports would be filed in a central
location where everyone involved in the case would have access. This way an officer can see if an
area was canvassed or if someone wasn t home at a location then they could attempt another contact.
Additionally, officers would need to continue attempting contact until contact with someone at the
location was made. There would be a ranking officer ultimately responsible for the canvassing section,
both ensuring that reports were correctly filled out and filed and that any incomplete reports were
followed up on. Neighborhood canvassing is probably one of the most boring ways to be involved in a
high profile case.

Revelations of Divine Love
Revelations of Divine Love is one of the most renowned Christian texts, mainly because it is known to
be the first published book in the English language that was written by a woman. It was written by
Julian of Norwich, a woman who reflects the nature of the medieval time period. She would come to
define a representation of the connection that people can have to divine beings in many variety of
forms by being a famous mystic. As she interprets her mystic experiences, she depicts Jesus Christ as
a working mother of the Trinity. Her belief is that Christ embodies the characteristics of motherhood
and this would enable a caring and nurturing foundation for the Christian faith. Christ as mother
extends to both to the physical humanity in bodily bleeding and suffering in order to give life and to
the spirituality of Christ whom delivers the soul; eternal and heavenly. This motherhood of Christ is a
vital part of Julian s theology and the idea of feminine love extends even to sin and salvation. But
most of all, she depicts Christ as feminine, not to distinguish him as being even more of a woman, but
to analyze a blurring of the genders, having Christ, and therefore God as beyond manmade categories.
In turn, this would come to positively impact women by having an idol that is not androgynous. This
follows the Trinity being a father, mother and lordship (Father, Son and Holy Ghost). Christianity is
one of the largest religious practices in the world and it has many different

Why I Want To Major In Nursing
Walsh University offers many different majors for people with many different likes and interests. If
students are undecided and do not know what to major in, I would say nursing is the way to go.
Nursing is a major where many doors open up for students after graduation. This major challenges you
and allows a person to grow. Wondering why students should major in nursing? Here are some reasons
that might help justify why nursing is the way to go. Nurses can choose the setting in which they
work; they have control over their shifts; finding a job in this field will be easy; a nurse gets to pick
what area they want to specialize; they get paid very well; and they get to bond with their patients. In

Nurses can work a shift that works around their schedule. If they have children at home and want to be
with them when they return home from school, then they can work night shifts. This would also be a
good shift for people who are not morning people. Someone who would rather work when their kids
are at school or even just want to work during the day and have nights off, then they can do that too.
Nursing is a very flexible career because you can easily change your shifts around. The opportunity of
working eight hour shifts or twelve hour shifts is also available to nurses. You can work three days a
week or five, which also allows for flexibility. There are pros and cons to both working three days a
week is nice when you receive four days off then, but the hours can be ..physically and emotionally
demanding.. ( Gray 2015). Working five days a week would also be nice because you have less hours
to work, but then you do not have as many days off. The flexibility a nurse has is a very nice

The Scalpel And The Silver Bear Summary
In the novel The Scalpel and The Silver Bear, Alvord is Native American and specifically has roots
from the Navajo tribe. At the beginning of the novel she is conflicted by coming from a biracial family
where her mother is white and her father is Navajo. This conflict follows her all of the way to college
in choosing an Ivy League school. She later decides on a school known as Dartmouth because of the
fact that they had substantial amount of Native Americans than any other Ivy League school. Alvord
graduated from Dartmouth with a psychology and sociology degree but still had aspirations to become
a doctor. She returns to school at Stanford to study medicine, after fulfilling her degree she made her
way back to New Mexico near Gallup.
Alvord Practiced at Gallup Indian Medical Center where she stood out from her peers. She realized
that all of her peers are Anglos and she was the only Native American. Although she is Native
American she is not seen as such from her Native American Patients because of her modern medical
practices. Alvord felt conflicted for her Native American background by practicing western medicine.
She realizes that trust is the most difficult aspect when having Native American patients. Since the
doctors are mostly Anglos it is difficult to communicate to the Navajo patients. Alvord realized this
conflict and bridged the patient physician gap by speaking Navajo and touching the patients. Since

The Privatization Of Foster Care
In Reality, is the Privatization of Foster Care an Ethical Solution to the Dilemmas of the System? The
foster care system in America is incredibly corrupt. There is no denying that. America has had issues
with foster care since it began about 160 years ago. It first began completely privatized, and as the
federacy found ways to fund it, it gradually became entirely public. Yet, there has consistently been
problems with its operations. There have been multiple attempts in the government to mend the
problem, or at least help. A lot of these solutions have been disasters because the foster care system is
not continuously overseen and regulated. Children are abused both physically and mentally, and will
often age out more damaged than when they first entered the system. There is one particular solution
that has come to the surface: privatizing the system again. However, this has never really brought any
light to the problem, and even makes situations worse. The privatization of foster care is not an ethical
solution to the dilemmas of the system because of the increase of abuse, undeniable deaths, and
insurmountable corruption. The public sector of the foster care system has issues with abuse, and the
private sector is experiencing an even higher rate of abuse (Therolf). One reason that abuse, in both
sectors, occurs is that the children are placed under the care of people who are not properly trained
(Slattery). This lack of training often results in multiple types of abuse

Espionage In World War Two
If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the results of a hundred battles. If you
know yourself but not your enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know
neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle (Sun Tzu). Espionage is the secret
gathering of information on rival countries for military purposes. However, espionage in other
countries is considered illegal: Even though it gains valuable information that could protect our
country. Although many spies got caught and was sentence to life in jail or death, the espionage in
World War II was effective because it gave information about the enemies and what there next move

Deception means something that deceives or is intended to deceive; fraud; artifice. One great
deception plan that led the victory of D day was the Operation of Bodyguard. Operation Bodyguard
was a deception plan made by the Allies to mislead the German high commander about the time and

also, it let the landings in Normandy take Germany by surprise on D day (Kagan 268.) Shortly after

The Tropical Rainforest Ecosystem
Tropical rainforests contains the most diverse ecosystems of any biome, containing over half of the
world s flora and fauna species despite only covering less than 6% of the earth s surface. Ecosystems
have flourished here because of plentiful rainfall (over 100mm per year) a humid but consistent

nightmare to live in, especially for someone who has never experienced it before.
So whether your plane has crash landed into the Amazon or you were stupid enough to follow iMaps
when you told it to take you to the local McDonalds, this guide will instruct you to survive in a
tropical rainforest.
Water
You might think this one is easy, you re carrying a drink bottle with you! But that bottle isn t going to
last more than two days in this humid environment, and you re not going to make it out in that time.
Tropical Rainforests contain water sources that can be found in the form of streams or lakes or even
tiny water vines. One tip into finding a lake or stream is look for a place where shorter, fern plants
flourish, and not much tall trees are found. If a water source cannot be found, rainwater is more than
enough to keep you alive. Remember before consuming any water, to boil it over a fire (see Fire ) so
that any bacteria is killed off. (http://news.discovery.com /adventure/survival/top ways to purify water

Examples Of Relationships In The Odyssey
Relationships are a result of what people put into it and what they take out. In The Odyssey by Homer,
relationships show up as respectable, loyal, and moral. While other examples are corrupt, and
immoral. Also relationships shows up in Beauty Sleep by Cameron Dokey. Some of the examples
have great connections, and some other ones have no connection at all. The Last book I found some
examples on relationships is Midnight Pearls by Debbie Viguie. The examples I found were romantic
or just as a friend. The Odyssey, Beauty Sleep, and Midnight Pearls all have wonderful, and romantic
relationships and other are horrible, not good relationships.
In The Odyssey I found a relationship with Telemakhos and Athena. As for my sailing here the tale
was that your father had come ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, Athena was there for Telemakhos on his journey, even though he didn t know it. The second
quote talks about how Penelope was trying her best to wait to see if her beloved husband would return
home. So she told the suitors that when she was done with her weaving she would marry, but every
night she would unravel what she weaved.
The second book I found the theme relationships is in Beauty Sleep by Cameron Dokey. The first
quote is Aurora (the main character) and her relationship with her father and her mother. In vain did I
vehemently protest and my father gently suggest that she was being just a tad overprotective. The
spells spoken over me in my cradle weren t supposed to be fulfilled until I was sixteen years old.
Couldn t I at least go out from time to time till then? Well supervised of course. (page 27)
The last quote I found was Aurora and her relationship with her cousin, Oswald. And so he kissed me
as I had him. Opening every single door inside his heart. And the kiss was like nothing I can describe.
For in that moment, I both lost and gained him. (page

Analysis Of The Poem The Solomon
SOLOMON
Solomon wrote I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the
curtains of Solomon. Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me:
my mother s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards, but mine own
vineyard have I not kept. I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh s
chariots (Song of Solomon 1:5 6, 9).
Solomon was the son of Bathsheba, who was the granddaughter of Ahithophel the Gilonite whose
husband was Uriah the Hittite, and he was a mixed Canaanite son of David (2 Samuel 11:2 3; 23:34;
Matthew 1:1 6). After David had killed her husband Uriah and impregnated Bathsheba, the Lord sent
Nathan to the house of David, who told him that the child will die, and the Lord struck the child which
was bore out of adultery and he died (2 Samuel 12:1 19). David prayed, fasted and worshiped the
Lord, and the Lord had mercy on him and gave him Solomon who prophet Nathan called Jedidiah,
because the Lord loved Solomon, he was beloved of the Lord (2 Samuel 12:20 25). Solomon made
mention of his skin complexion in his writings, he said I am black, and comely, O ye daughters of
Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar. The word Kedar, which was used here means black. Solomon had
used the blackness of Kedar to describe his skin complexion. Some scholars stated that this was a
poetic word that referred to one of his black lover. However, this poetic songs does not only

Essay on Third World Development
Within the last 60 years, Third World development has been a global priority, at the top of virtually
every Western agenda. And with the rise of the global population and poverty levels continuing to rise
along with it, it is very easy to see why human development is becoming such a topic of focus and
discussion among members of the academia. But one question that everyone wants the answer too is,
how does Third World development fit into Globalization? Despite apparent compatibility, when
closely examined it is clear to see that Globalization actually contradicts Third World development
due to the conflict of agendas. Both Globalization and Development hold views concerning market
reform, social structure and regulation, which are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The lifeblood of these regimes is the dissatisfied citizens, the unimpressed masses who desire
revolution and freedom from poverty, which is propogated to have risen out of Capitalist involvement
in the Americas. Capitalist economies, on the other hand, believe that it has nothing to do with their
involvement and instead sees these stages of development as natural, something that every economy
will go through, if they have not already. Despite the appeal, it is untrue to say that every developed
nation has gone through stages of development that todays underdeveloped nations are going through.
As Andre Gunder Frank puts it the now developed countries were never underdeveloped, though they
may have been undeveloped (104). This goes to show that the playing field was not even for all, and
that today s developing nations had a headstart in developing. Underdevelopment can also be, and has
been, understood as a reflection or product of the economic, social, political and cultural
characteristics of said country. Yet with a look at history we see that the underdevelopment of a
satellite nation can be traced directly back to the past and current economic relations the nation has
held with developed metropoles . This relationship between a metropolitan and satellite countries
pertains back to the process and development of the world capitalist system, which benefits its

Worldcom Bond Issuance
WORLDCOM, INC: CORPORATE BOND ISSUANCE 1. IS IT A GOOD TIME FOR
WORLDCOM, INC. TO ISSUE? CONSIDER FACTORS IN FAVOR AND FACTORS THAT ARE
NOT IN FAVOR. Personally I believe that the time is not in favor of WorldCom in undertaking one of
the largest bond issues at the time. Even though there are many advantages with proceeding with the
issue, I believe that the degree and the uncertainty raised by some of the disadvantages outweigh the
advantages of going ahead with the $6Billion bond. In the table below are reflected both the
advantages and disadvantages of proceeding with the bond. Advantages Disadvantage 1. MCI Merger,

However, this is not the case with WorldCom, as the company apparently has good reputation and can
get the required financing through loans. However, with bonds there is less flexibility to resolve any
future issues and there is always the pricing risk, but one pro of a bond is that there is no periodical
principal payment. The major challenge of any bond issue is the uncertainty, i.e. the fact that
companies cannot predict how markets will react to the issue. Moreover, the volatility of the fixed
income markets is a factor to be accounted for as well as how the credit risk rating of the Company
will be perceived and accepted by the investors. Another major uncertainty is the bid to ask ratio. A
potential major uncertainty, which is not present in the case of WorldCom but presently has become an
uncertainty in some markets, is the country risk premium. If the operations are in a country that has a
non stable political or sovereign state the volatility of the country risk premium could be a major
uncertainty that an issuer could face. 4. ESTIMATE THE EXPECTED BORROWING COST (I.E.

ARE BONDS PRICED IN THIS MANNER? Provided the data on the corporate bonds in Exhibit 9,

A) Doctors take an oath not to do harm and assisting a patient with suicide could be a Violation of
their oath. B) According to the Journal of Medical Ethics it may not be that simple to assist with
Suicide, some people have violent reactions to the medications and do not die.
IV. Some would say that there are religious issues with suicide, but according to Clarifying
Christianity the Bible speaks in Exodus (20) verse 1 17 that we should not murder. That is often taken
out of context and one cannot simply murder their own self.
V. Death is not easy at all, not for the patient of their family, but it can be more peaceful and everyone
should have the right to choose their own end when all that lies ahead is needless pain and suffering
for an end that is certainly coming.

Stonehenge Research Papers
Mysterious Stonehenge The chosen research topic is Stonehenge. This topic was chosen, because
Stonehenge is very mysterious to mankind. It is also a very interesting topic, and it makes one want to
learn more about it. Stonehenge is considered strange and mysterious, because no one knows what is
the reasoning behind it and why it was built. Inquiring minds want to know how it became so famous.
How did stonehenge get its name? What is Stonehenge? What theories have been made about
Stonehenge? There are a lot of questions that one would like to be answered about it. Stonehenge is a
prehistoric monument northwest of Salisbury located in Wiltshire, England. It is a huge formation of
stones arranged in a circle, surrounded by an earthen embarkment which is also in a circular
formation.
Stonehenge is said to be built between about 3100 and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, Stonehenge is made up of two stones. Those two stones are sarsen and bluestones. The sarsen
weigh an average of twenty five tons. The bluestones weigh between two to five tons. These stones
were transported from two sites Marlborough Downs and the Preseli Hills area in West Wales. Yet, no
one knows how they got there, or who brought them there and built Stonehenge. Mankind as a whole,
is still uncertain as to what Stonehenge really is. There are many unanswered questions on the
mysterious Stonehenge. Millions of people visit Stonehenge every year to see the wonderful site. I
think Stonehenge is a beautiful site full of mysteries. It would be a great place to visit someday. My
theory is that Stonehenge could have had something to do with multiple things. It could have been
used for multiple purposes. For example, it could have been used as a burial site, memorial,
astronomical clock, and place of worship all in one. Since, there is a little of evidence behind most of
the theories, Stonehenge could have been used for plenty of

The High Level Of Openness And Labor Mobility
Executive Summary
The high level of openness and labor mobility are two of the essential criteria for a successful optimal
currency area (OCA). EU and GCC countries are OCA in terms of openness because they have high
economic openness level. Although the GCC has a low level of intra regional trade, the fixed
exchange rate regime still is the optimal due to the fact that the main export commodity is oil for GCC
countries, they do not need to adjust the exchange rate between GCC countries due to their exchange
rate fixed to the dollar which is the official currency of oil transaction. The EU is not OCA in terms of
labor mobility because the labor movement is not free. However, currently GCC is an OCA in labor
mobility aspect because ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When the demand transfer from country A to country B, because of the fixed exchange rate regime,
country A will have a higher unemployment rate, and country B will suffer a higher inflation rate. If
labor freely flows from A to B, it can eliminate the unemployment effect in country A and inflation
effect in country B. These two countries will achieve internal balance and external balance in the
meantime (McKinnon, 1863).
The level of economic openness in European countries is high. The average openness is approximately
40% in EU member states (Mongelli, 2002), and there is an increasing trend in openness level over
time (Table 1). This result shows that, in general, the import and export growth rate exceed the growth
rate of GDP in EU12 countries during these years. It should be mentioned that, in Table 2, the intra
regional trade in the EU plays a significant role, it accounts for about 60% of the international trade
(Laabas Limam, 2002).
The economy in the GCC countries is highly open, but with a low level of intra regional trade.
Countries with lowest openness levels in the GCC were Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and their openness
levels were 35% and 47% (Sturm Siegfried, 2005) (Table 3). According to openness standards, the
GCC countries should undoubtedly be a

A Fetal Organ That Is Vital For The Growth Of The Fetus...
Project Background (500 words) The placenta is a fetal organ that is vital for the growth of the fetus
during pregnancy. Abnormalities in placental development can result in pregnancy complications such
as intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) and pre eclampsia (PE), which affect one in ten pregnancies
in New Zealand. IUGR occurs in 3 5% of all pregnancies, and is associated with an assortment of
increased risks of its own, such as hypoglycaemia, hypothermia, developmental delays and increased
risk of infection. Despite its prevalence, we currently have no effective treatment for IUGR other than
close monitoring and premature delivery of the baby. Worldwide, 10% of neonatal mortality can be
put down to prematurity, but the risks do not stop there respiratory problems, feeding difficulties, and
neurological problems also increase in incidence as gestational age at delivery decreases. Furthermore,
IUGR babies are at an increased risk of cardiovascular problems, obesity and type II diabetes in
adulthood, diseases which the health system is currently plagued with. Together, these issues place a
considerable burden on healthcare providers in both the short and long term to the cost of up to $300
000 NZD per child, along with an intangible cost to the families of the children. However, despite the
significance of this problem, our knowledge of the pathophysiology leading to IUGR is limited, and so
developing effective treatments for IUGR has been exceptionally

Essay on Television as a Cultural Forum
Television can be considered a cultural forum. By cultural forum, this means issues and points of view
can be discussed openly and almost without punishment. These issues can vary anywhere from male
dominance in the household, to wars, to racism, to political jabs and still be covered under freedom of
speech. Television can hold a wide variety of opinions which may offend, but for the most part due so
to prove a point.
In the All in the Family episode we watched in class, it is no secret that Archie Bunker is racist. In
fact, in the episode we viewed, there is a racial argument between Archie and the George Jefferson.
Through this show, the writer s can convey thoughts, theories, and opinions about the ... Show more

Men, being as stubborn as they are, continue the racial barrage and eventually stop talking.
In the episode of Father Knows Best, Betty seeks to pursue a traditionally male dominated profession.
Even though society looks down upon it, Betty still perseveres in her endeavors to pursue a job she
likes. Due to the current times, society sets a certain standard and you are expected to follow along
with it. Going against the grain is usually shunned or you are set apart from everyone else. I feel this is
a great quality, and more people should be like this.
In these two episodes, discrimination is evident. In Father Knows Best Betty is discriminated against
for attempting to pursue a profession that, in that time, was male dominated. In 2005, men and women
should be considered equals in the work force, and be entitled to the same opportunities. In that era,
women were teachers, men were doctors, etc. There were standard jobs for each sex. This is fine to
talk about because it is in the TV realm. Writers are allowed to poke fun at society s unwritten
standards. In All in the Family Archie discriminates again African Americans and George
discriminates against Caucasians. Archie is brutally honest, even for our generation. His complete
disregard for feelings almost makes him appear archaic, but when put under a microscope, we see the
writers are challenging society, pushing the envelope even further. This freedom

The Handmaid s Tale of Food as a Control Mechanism
Food traditionally represents comfort, security, and family. We recall the traditional concept of
comfort food and the large family dinners in Norman Rockwell s piece Freedom from Want. However,
for many, food is also a serious, and potentially damaging, method of control. Anorexia nervosa and
bulimia are classic examples of psychological syndromes, related to control, that express themselves
with eating disorders. Prisoners of war are denied food as the most basic method of torture and
control. Like all humans, Offred, the main character of Margaret Atwood s Handmaid s Tale, finds that
food is a central and important feature of life. Food has many meanings in the novel, nourishment,
fertility, and luxury; however, this paper will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is very simple and extremely passive. The limitation of free will using tokens is expounded upon
when Offred realizes that Milk and Honey has oranges, a rare luxury. Offred is longing for one of
these fruits yet cannot have it because she doesn t have a token for it (25). Looking to the next level,
we see that the limited supply of oranges is also related to control. Partially explained by southern
rebels attacking railroads, it seems that shortages are either purposely instituted to attest to
governmental control or, they are the result of aggressive power struggles in other parts of the country.
In both cases, power is at play. Offred, even at this nescient period of Giladean control, as picked up
on food s power and her reaction to the oranges represents this molding of her mind. The next day,
Offred tells Rita, the cook of her household, about the oranges at Milk and Honey The interchange
that ensues is a traditional grapple with power. ìI hold out this idea like an offering. I wish to ingratiate
myself,î Offred indicates to the reader ñ showing that she sees this bit of information about food as a
tool, to be manipulated. She adds, yesterday she [Rita] was too grumpy. We see that it is not simple
desire for the oranges driving this conversation. Rita s response: Rita grunts she ll think about it, the
grunt says, in her own sweet time. Offred seems confident that Rita feels similarly excited about the
oranges but is determined to

Black Writers of the 20th Century Essay
Literature has played an important role in society throughout history, the written word being a
powerful tool in communicating ideas. This became even more important during the 20th century,
when many people were trying to persuade others or share their emotions and histories. The black
movements in the United States made use of this tool, many authors coming out and becoming part of
the fabric of society. Three authors in particular, Ralph Ellison, Langston Hughes, and Richard Wright
became some of the most influential and important writers of the 20th century, owing to their own
history and life experiences to give life and meaning to their works. Ralph Ellison is one of the more
influential writers of the early 20th century in North ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Wright his first publication as an author and opening him up to the world of writing in the early 20th
century. The most well known of the three black authors, Langston Hughes is mentioned as an
influence on many other authors, including Ralph Ellison and Richard Wright, among others. Born in
Joplin, Missouri on 1 February 1902, Hughes was unfortunate to see in life to see so much separation
and strife in his family. His parents were divorced when he was still very young, causing him to live
with his grandmother until he was 13, at which point he went on to Lincoln, Illinois to live with his
mother, and then eventually moved on to Cleveland, Ohio. By 1924, he relocated to Washington D.C.
Where he became an important part of the Harlem Renaissance. He began his college education at
Columbia University, took a hiatus where he wrote a book of poetry, then completed his remaining
three years at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. Hughes would later go on to become a very well

  • 2. How To Solve The Cuban Missile Crisis In 1959, Cuban nationalist, Fidel Castro, sent his army into Havana and usurped General Batista, the American supported President. The U.S. State Department and CIA, launched a full out invasion of Cuba. Unfortunately, the invasion failed, greatly outnumbered by Castro s troops, the invaders surrendered after less than a day of fighting. This failed invasion on Cuba to seize the Castro regime, is called the Bay of Pigs invasion. In July of 1962, Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev made a secret deal with Cuba to handle any future invasions. The benefit to the Soviet s was to place their nuclear missiles on Cuban soil which was just 90 miles from American shores. Evidence of the missiles location and its owners being Soviet was quickly discovered by the U.S.. President Kennedy released a public announcement warning the American nation about the dangerous weapons in Cuba. On the 14th of October, a U.S. U 2 aircraft captured photographs of the sites for medium and intermediate range of nuclear missiles. The pictures were shown to the White House soon after and the Cuban Missile Crisis earned its name. The President called for his advisors to help weigh the options and determine the best course of action for the U.S. that would rightfully solve the issue. Some advisors argued for an ... Shakespeare uses characters within the play Macbeth to draw attention to the dangers of relentlessly pursuing the goal of happiness while also presenting the few that have the ability to compromise their needs as those who ultimately triumph. The idea of constantly pursuing a goal no matter the consequences or the actions necessary to succeed will only lead to the self destruction of that individual described by the play Macbeth. • 4. Prosperity After the Civil War Kellie Bowden Mr. Strough APUSH 1 April 2013 During the period of the Civil War, the typical American business was a small, family owned company and it usually produced goods for a smaller, regional market. However, as the Civil War ended, big businesses began to dominate the corporate world. Many businesses, such as the Standard Oil Co. and Carnegie Steel, became monopolies and owned all parts of one particular industry. These huge firms were able to mass produce their products and sell them not only all over the country, but also internationally. Due to the huge transformation in the business world, the economy and politics were affected as well as the American people and unfortunately, these affects turned out to be more negative ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... By smaller businesses not being able to compete, this just gave the already huge companies even more power. During these years after the Civil War, many Americans struggled. Although the industrial world boomed, so many people were looking for jobs that many did not have any jobs. For the ones that happened to have jobs, the working conditions were so atrocious that sometimes it might not have even been worth it to have a job. As demonstrated in the article titled What Does Labor Want? It explains the concern of many workers. The passage voices the want of a reform from the workers. They say that human beings should be treated just as well as every other person in the world. These workers worked well over 14 hours a day doing very strenuous labor. They pleaded for shorter work days and better treatment of workers. The people also were fearful of the huge up and coming businesses. They did not like the power the companies had over the government and economy. The people knew these businesses had the power to change the prices of all goods to whatever they wanted. Although there were many corrupt things about the working world, one good thing of it all was that women were now able to work. Instead of having to sit at home and be a typical housewife day after day, they were now able to work in some factories and stores. The picture from Document J shows ... Body and soul free! , Mrs. Mallard kept whispering. One person s ultimate freedom may be seen as a tragedy to another. Kate Chopin illustrates this idea in The Story of an Hour. The story is set in the nineteenth century. Chopin uses the death of Mr. Mallard to show the reader Mrs. Mallard s deep feelings. In the story, Josephine and Mrs. Mallard are sisters. Although the women come from the same background, live in the same city, and outwardly appear to be satisfied with their lives, their attitudes are very different. Josephine and Mrs. Mallard may be sisters, but they have very different outlooks on a woman s role in society. The differences in Josephine and Mrs. Mallard are evident in their reactions to the news of Mr. Mallard s death. Josephine cannot find a ray of hope in Mr. Mallard s death. She is overwhelmed with sadness. She is very careful how she tells Mrs. Mallard of her husband s death. Josephine uses broken sentences and veiled hints when telling Mrs. Mallard of Mr. Mallard s death. Josephine knows that Mrs. Mallard depends on her husband for everything. However, Mrs. Mallard s reaction to the news is very different. Mrs. Mallard loves her husband. She is saddened by the news, but she is able to see into the future. She is able to see a future with color and brightness. Mrs. Mallard feels set free from bondage. She no longer sees a world of restrictions but a world of opportunity and adventure. Her husband s death brings revival to her soul. Chopin says, Mrs. Mallard is drinking in a very elixir of life through that open window. • 8. Comparing Tribunes And Julius Caesar Tribunes and Julius Caesar Julius Caesar is a great play written by William Shakespeare based on the real life historical person, the Roman military tribune and dictator Julius Caesar. Caesar was the all powerful ruler of Rome, who lived from July 12, 100 B.C., until his assassination, which took place March 15, 44 B.C. (Getlen). Shakespeare wrote the play Julius Casear 1600 years later, in 1599. In reading the play, the reader often comes across words and phrases that are unknown, both because of the era in which the events took place and because of the era in which the play was written. One of the words discovered in Act I that an average American high school student might not use in a typical conversation is tribune. To understand the play, the reader needs to know this word and more about what life and the political world was like during the time Caesar was alive. Then the student needs to learn what a tribune did and what his role in society was. After that, the student can come to understand why the tribunes in the play, Marullus and Flavius, were worried about Caesar. According to Merriam Webster, a tribune is a Roman official under the monarchy and the republic with the function of protecting the plebeian citizen from arbitrary action by the patrician magistrates (Merriam Webster). Another definition explains a tribune as an officer or magistrate chosen by the people to protect them from the oppression of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

How to Analyze the Regression Analysis Output from Excel How to Analyze the Regression Analysis Output from Excel In a simple regression model, we are trying to determine if a variable Y is linearly dependent on variable X. That is, whenever X changes, Y also changes linearly. A linear relationship is a straight line relationship. In the form of an equation, this relationship can be expressed as Y = α + βX + e In this equation, Y is the dependent variable, and X is the independent variable. α is the intercept of the regression line, and β is the slope of the regression line. e is the random disturbance term. The way to interpret the above equation is as follows: Y = α + βX (ignoring the disturbance term e ) gives the average relationship between the values of Y and X. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The stronger the relationship between the two variables, the closer is the value of R2 to 1. t value: A rough rule of thumb to determine the significance of X in explaining Y is that the t value of the slope coefficient, β, should be at least 2. The greater the t value, the more is the evidence that X is significant in explaining Y. Significance F: The lower this value, the stronger is the evidence that there is indeed a relationship between X and Y. If this value is less than 0.05, we would be safe in accepting that there is a relationship between X and Y. P value: Look at the p value of the independent variable (and not the intercept). If this p value is less than 0.05, we would be safe in accepting that there is a relationship between X and Y. 95% Confidence Interval: Look at the 95% confidence interval of the independent variable (not the intercept). If this confidence interval does not contain zero, we would be safe in accepting that there is a relationship between X and Y. However, if the 95% confidence interval contains zero, there is a big chance that we would making a mistake by assuming that there is a relationship between X and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

If truck drivers can bypass San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas, the time to their destination would probably save them an entire day in travel. Freight rail services could veer away from San Antonio s railroad yard, an institution bustling with activity in the wee hours of the morning. Also, commuter rail can solve environmental problems and help families keep in touch anywhere in the state without the over burdening costs of driving (Perry). Some of those reasons include differences in reporting, problems with evidence collection, and police and prosecutorial mistakes. That being said, I feel that one of the areas where mistakes happen compromising the ability to see a case through to arrest is a failure on the part of law enforcement officers to canvass neighborhoods appropriately. However, it is the basic skills that solve crimes. Therefore, I feel an intervention that would help clearance rates would be organized and accountable programs for canvassing. Included in this program would be an educational portion showing how to effectively interview those who are reluctant or those who feel they saw nothing but may know more than they think. Also included in this program would be the reasons why this method is effective and, because who doesn t like stories, examples where canvassing solved the crime and caught the criminal, as well as examples where canvassing would have solved the crime if only a department would have dedicated the personnel. Once departmental training had occurred, I would ensure that a system of checks and balances is in place. Every contact, or lack thereof, would need a report. These reports would be filed in a central location where everyone involved in the case would have access. This way an officer can see if an area was canvassed or if someone wasn t home at a location then they could attempt another contact. Additionally, officers would need to continue attempting contact until contact with someone at the location was made. • 13. Revelations of Divine Love Revelations of Divine Love is one of the most renowned Christian texts, mainly because it is known to be the first published book in the English language that was written by a woman. It was written by Julian of Norwich, a woman who reflects the nature of the medieval time period. She would come to define a representation of the connection that people can have to divine beings in many variety of forms by being a famous mystic. As she interprets her mystic experiences, she depicts Jesus Christ as a working mother of the Trinity. Her belief is that Christ embodies the characteristics of motherhood and this would enable a caring and nurturing foundation for the Christian faith. Christ as mother extends to both to the physical humanity in bodily bleeding and suffering in order to give life and to the spirituality of Christ whom delivers the soul; eternal and heavenly. This motherhood of Christ is a vital part of Julian s theology and the idea of feminine love extends even to sin and salvation. But most of all, she depicts Christ as feminine, not to distinguish him as being even more of a woman, but to analyze a blurring of the genders, having Christ, and therefore God as beyond manmade categories. In turn, this would come to positively impact women by having an idol that is not androgynous. This follows the Trinity being a father, mother and lordship (Father, Son and Holy Ghost). • 16. The Privatization Of Foster Care In Reality, is the Privatization of Foster Care an Ethical Solution to the Dilemmas of the System? The foster care system in America is incredibly corrupt. There is no denying that. America has had issues with foster care since it began about 160 years ago. It first began completely privatized, and as the federacy found ways to fund it, it gradually became entirely public. Yet, there has consistently been problems with its operations. There have been multiple attempts in the government to mend the problem, or at least help. A lot of these solutions have been disasters because the foster care system is not continuously overseen and regulated. Children are abused both physically and mentally, and will often age out more damaged than when they first entered the system. There is one particular solution that has come to the surface: privatizing the system again. However, this has never really brought any light to the problem, and even makes situations worse. The privatization of foster care is not an ethical solution to the dilemmas of the system because of the increase of abuse, undeniable deaths, and insurmountable corruption. The public sector of the foster care system has issues with abuse, and the private sector is experiencing an even higher rate of abuse (Therolf). One reason that abuse, in both sectors, occurs is that the children are placed under the care of people who are not properly trained (Slattery). This lack of training often results in multiple types of abuse ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

However, espionage in other countries is considered illegal: Even though it gains valuable information that could protect our country. Although many spies got caught and was sentence to life in jail or death, the espionage in World War II was effective because it gave information about the enemies and what there next move was going to be. One great deception plan that led the victory of D day was the Operation of Bodyguard. Operation Bodyguard was a deception plan made by the Allies to mislead the German high commander about the time and place of the invasion (Kagan 13.) The plan was a success in keeping the German 15 Army at Calais; also, it let the landings in Normandy take Germany by surprise on D day (Kagan 268.) Shortly after the Allies ( America and British) paratroopers began to land in Normandy, dummy paratroopers were dropped from the aircraft. The dummies were made out of burlap, straw, and armed fireworks that was simulated with gunfire. It made the Germans think that the dummies were the soldiers and it mislead the German commanders into moving the troops away from the real landing zones (Kagan 14.) Research on the Expressed Sequence Tag of Olives Essay Introduction Olive, or scientific name Olea europaea L which belongs to Oleacea family is a valuable plant species where it can produce oil and table olives. Gene at certain tissue in species will be expressed where cDNA are sequenced to produce expressed sequence tag (EST) library. EST database is beneficial as it allows new gene discovery, marker discovery, gene mapping, and functional studies to be carried out. This research has contributed EST library of 2304 clone sequences from the young olive leaf and 1536 clone sequences from the immature olive fruit for Turkish olive cultivar Gemlik. EST sequences with vector sequence were edited using Phrap cross match application. Contig Assembly Program 3 (Cap3) was used to assemble the sequences obtained from sequencing for analysis while Consed/Autofinish software was used to control the sequence assembly. All sequences were assembled separately into contigs. BLAST of sequences was conducted to determine the gene homology in order to connect their functions. Unique sequences were analysed for biological characteristics as well as functional annotation using program BLAST2GO. New genes can then be identified eventually. Results Two cDNA libraries were established from olive leaf and fruit, with 2304 clones and 1536 clones respectively. A total of 3840 EST sequences was generated from the two cDNA libraries. 106 low quality EST sequences were removed by using Phred software. 3734 EST sequences with vector sequence were edited using Phrap cross match application. EST sequences and 1506 high quality fruit EST sequences were assembled using Contig Assembly Program 3 (Cap3) to assemble the sequences separately into contigs. Consequently, homolog genes which were consensus EST sequences in GenBank can then be obtained. 2228 leaf EST sequences were assembled into 205 contigs, length ranged from 514 bases to 1924 bases. 1506 fruit EST sequences were assembled into 69 contigs, length ranged from 461 bases to 1909 bases. The Tropical Rainforest Ecosystem Tropical rainforests contains the most diverse ecosystems of any biome, containing over half of the world s flora and fauna species despite only covering less than 6% of the earth s surface. Ecosystems have flourished here because of plentiful rainfall (over 100mm per year) a humid but consistent temperature (http://www.blue planetbiomes.org/rainforest.htm). All this combines to something of a nightmare to live in, especially for someone who has never experienced it before. So whether your plane has crash landed into the Amazon or you were stupid enough to follow iMaps when you told it to take you to the local McDonalds, this guide will instruct you to survive in a tropical rainforest. But that bottle isn t going to last more than two days in this humid environment, and you re not going to make it out in that time. Tropical Rainforests contain water sources that can be found in the form of streams or lakes or even tiny water vines. One tip into finding a lake or stream is look for a place where shorter, fern plants flourish, and not much tall trees are found. If a water source cannot be found, rainwater is more than enough to keep you alive. Remember before consuming any water, to boil it over a fire (see Fire ) so that any bacteria is killed off. In The Odyssey by Homer, relationships show up as respectable, loyal, and moral. While other examples are corrupt, and immoral. Also relationships shows up in Beauty Sleep by Cameron Dokey. Some of the examples have great connections, and some other ones have no connection at all. The Last book I found some examples on relationships is Midnight Pearls by Debbie Viguie. Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards, but mine own vineyard have I not kept. I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh s chariots (Song of Solomon 1:5 6, 9). Solomon was the son of Bathsheba, who was the granddaughter of Ahithophel the Gilonite whose husband was Uriah the Hittite, and he was a mixed Canaanite son of David (2 Samuel 11:2 3; 23:34; Matthew 1:1 6). After David had killed her husband Uriah and impregnated Bathsheba, the Lord sent Nathan to the house of David, who told him that the child will die, and the Lord struck the child which was bore out of adultery and he died (2 Samuel 12:1 19). David prayed, fasted and worshiped the Lord, and the Lord had mercy on him and gave him Solomon who prophet Nathan called Jedidiah, because the Lord loved Solomon, he was beloved of the Lord (2 Samuel 12:20 25). Solomon made mention of his skin complexion in his writings, he said I am black, and comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar. The word Kedar, which was used here means black. And with the rise of the global population and poverty levels continuing to rise along with it, it is very easy to see why human development is becoming such a topic of focus and discussion among members of the academia. But one question that everyone wants the answer too is, how does Third World development fit into Globalization? However, with bonds there is less flexibility to resolve any future issues and there is always the pricing risk, but one pro of a bond is that there is no periodical principal payment. The major challenge of any bond issue is the uncertainty, i.e. the fact that companies cannot predict how markets will react to the issue. Moreover, the volatility of the fixed income markets is a factor to be accounted for as well as how the credit risk rating of the Company will be perceived and accepted by the investors. EU and GCC countries are OCA in terms of openness because they have high economic openness level. Although the GCC has a low level of intra regional trade, the fixed exchange rate regime still is the optimal due to the fact that the main export commodity is oil for GCC countries, they do not need to adjust the exchange rate between GCC countries due to their exchange rate fixed to the dollar which is the official currency of oil transaction. These two countries will achieve internal balance and external balance in the meantime (McKinnon, 1863). The level of economic openness in European countries is high. Abnormalities in placental development can result in pregnancy complications such as intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) and pre eclampsia (PE), which affect one in ten pregnancies in New Zealand. IUGR occurs in 3 5% of all pregnancies, and is associated with an assortment of increased risks of its own, such as hypoglycaemia, hypothermia, developmental delays and increased risk of infection. Despite its prevalence, we currently have no effective treatment for IUGR other than close monitoring and premature delivery of the baby. Worldwide, 10% of neonatal mortality can be put down to prematurity, but the risks do not stop there respiratory problems, feeding difficulties, and neurological problems also increase in incidence as gestational age at delivery decreases. Furthermore, IUGR babies are at an increased risk of cardiovascular problems, obesity and type II diabetes in adulthood, diseases which the health system is currently plagued with. Together, these issues place a considerable burden on healthcare providers in both the short and long term to the cost of up to $300 000 NZD per child, along with an intangible cost to the families of the children.
