How To Write A Good Title For An Essay
Crafting an essay on the intricacies of creating a compelling title for an essay might seem
deceptively straightforward at first glance. However, delving into the nuances of this seemingly
simple task reveals a labyrinth of considerations and challenges that demand careful navigation.
To start, one must grapple with the elusive nature of a "good" title. What defines goodness in
this context? Is it clarity, creativity, conciseness, or a delicate balance of all three? Answering
these questions requires a deep dive into the psychology of readers, understanding how titles
impact their perception and engagement.
The challenge intensifies when attempting to balance creativity with relevance. Striking the
perfect chord between uniqueness and coherence can feel like walking a tightrope, requiring a
keen sense of the essay's essence and audience expectations. Each word must be meticulously
chosen to encapsulate the core message, all while enticing readers to explore further.
Furthermore, the essay itself becomes a meta-exercise, as the title must reflect the essay's content
accurately. Achieving this alignment is no mean feat, as it demands a profound understanding of
the subject matter and the ability to distill its essence into a few carefully chosen words.
Addressing the technical aspects of titling introduces another layer of complexity. The delicate
dance of balancing keyword relevance for search engines with human appeal for readers
necessitates a strategic approach. This intersection of art and science underscores the
multifaceted nature of the task.
In the end, attempting to encapsulate the art of crafting a stellar essay title proves to be a
formidable challenge, demanding a nuanced understanding of language, psychology, and the
specific context of the essay itself. The process is akin to threading a needle with precision and
finesse, each title an intricate tapestry of words designed to captivate and inform.

Boston Massacre Analysis
The British Side of the Boston Massacre
Mykenzie Cotiaux
Between the hours of nine and ten o clock, being in my master s house, was
alarmed by the cry of fire, I ran down as far as the town house, and then heard that
the soldiers and the inhabitants were fighting in the alley... I then left them and went
to King street. I then saw a party of soldiers loading their muskets about the Custom
house door, after which they all shouldered. I heard some of the inhabitants cry out,
heave no snow balls , others cried they dare not fire . The Boston massacre has been
no massacre it was propaganda. The incident that happened March 5th, 1770 in the
streets of Boston only killed five people and had six people with non fatal injuries.

The Boston massacre was played out to be such a big thing, although it was a
misunderstanding. It was the colonists who were asking for there to be trouble. If
the colonists were not throwing things and beating the British then the gun would
have never gone off. The colonists were protesting against someone who was not
doing anything wrong. Why were the colonists protesting something that we still
have today? Before the colonists were threatening the British the British was just
doing their jobs. The colonists were the ones threatening the British so why were
the British put in jail for it? In conclusion, 8 British soldiers were arrested for using
self defense. If the colonists were not protesting no shots would have been fired so
the Boston massacre would have never happened, in the end the Boston massacre was
just propaganda towards the
Abraham Lincoln s Racist Arguments With Stephen Douglas
Lincoln always hated slavery, but he was smart enough not to publicly announce it.
His public statements on slavery and race have been the cause of controversy
throughout the years, as he often seems to almost contradict himself at first glance.
However, analyzing the seemingly racist statements he would make shows that they
were all part of a bigger plan. Had he simply told the racist audiences that their
beliefs were wrong, they would have rejected him outright. Instead, he would use
ambiguous language to make it seem as if he shared their beliefs, and then use sound
logic to argue in favor of his own point. By doing this, he molded the opinions of his
audience in an extremely effective manner.
Lincoln used his skills to the fullest extent throughout his debates with Stephen
Douglas. In these debates, Douglas frequently attacked Lincoln s views on race,
forcing Lincoln on the defensive. Douglas claimed that Lincoln was in support of
intermarriage, full equality for blacks, and other such things all propositions that
drew horror from the average member of the audience. However, Lincoln turned all ...

This is a statement that could potentially be construed as racist, but in all reality
has almost no meaning. It is a smokescreen, there to make his audience think that
he is on their side. Following this, Lincoln first states that despite any potential
differences, blacks still have the same right that others do to live a free life. He
follows this statement up with a direct appeal to his crowd, asking to simply leave
the blacks alone. Lincoln avoids asking his audience to change the beliefs they have
grown up with, and instead just asks them not to act upon those beliefs. By changing
the focal point of his anti slavery argument, he is able to avoid provoking his
audience and make logical points that they find it hard to disagree
Examining Genetic Influence On Intelligence
Identical twin studies are most useful in determining genetic influence on
intelligence. Since the identical twins share the same exact genes, the straightforward
comparison of intelligence can display if this human trait is truly heritable. Similarity
of intelligence scores between identical twins supports the genetic influence on
intelligence. According to Myers (2007),
Across studies of 10,000 twins, the intelligence test scores of identical twins reared
together are virtually as similar as those of the same person taking the same test
twice...Likewise, the test scores of identical twins reared separately are similar
enough to lead twin researcher Thomas Bouchard (1996) to estimate that about 70
percent of intelligence score variation can be attributed to genetic variation. (p. 455)
As stated by Myers (2007), in the above quote, adopted twins studies also play a
role in determining levels of intelligence and its heritability. However, like in all
other psychological testing, correlation does not always mean causation and atypical
findings may find their way into the data poll. It must also be noted that in order to
successfully foster an identical twin study, all the twins should be adopted. This
provides for a better chance for the twins to grow up in a different environment from
their biological parents. If this is not the cases, how can professionals determine that
environmental influences are not the cause of the intellectual levels? In addition, if
separated,
Authorship Of Hebrews
The author for the book of Hebrews is unknown, as there is no ascription or
introduction given by the author; therefore, scholars may only propose possible
authors without confirming who it is. With that said, many scholars have pushed for
Pauline because in earlier manuscripts Hebrews followed Romans which they
thought warranted Pauline authorship. Some of the early church fathers believe that
there is Pauline influence, however, not Pauline authorship simply for the reason
that Hebrews seems to be written by a well educated Greek with elaborate and
complex language. There are other suggestions made by scholars, most of which
they are unable to support. Pricilla is one example, it would be fitting for her
authorship of Hebrews based on her being in Paul s inner circle and the book having
Pauline influence, however, one would have to look past the strong presence of the
authors masculine self reference.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Moreover, Luke translates Barnabas to mean son of consolation which ties into
Hebrews being a word of consolation (Johnson). He is also described as interacting
with Paul through missions, which Paul confirms in his letters, however, this does
not confirm his authorship as there are also various things that would not agree with
his authorship. Lastly, there is discussion concerning Apollos as the author of
Hebrews, there are many connections that have been made, such as, Apollos being a
Jew and Hebrews showing strong knowledge of Judaism, Apollos being well learned
in the Scriptures and the intricate scriptural citations used in Hebrews, among other
things. Though there are many aspects that agree with Apollos authorship, it must
only be speculation due to the disagreements that also arise in the argument for his
The Pros And Cons Of The Global Resource Dividend
Over last two decades a problem on human rights and poverty has been excessively
debated. Originally, it was provoked by Thomas Pogge, who claimed that people
living in well being violate human rights of people living in poverty by not helping
them and being beneficiaries of global institutional order. Consequently, affluent
countries are responsible for reducing misery in the world, because current global
economic order disproportionately serves for humankind (Pogge 2005, severe poverty
). To be precise, wealthy countries are continuing to grow rich, while poor countries
are continuing to peter out.
To challenge this problem, Pogge proposes a moderate program so called The
Global Resources Dividend (GRD). This literature review is supposed to unveil
advantages and disadvantages of the GRD ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Part II then proposes a specific understanding of what it means to violate human
rights. I will argue that a human rights violation involves non fulfillment of human
rights as well as a specific causal relation of human agents to such non fulfillment.
Importantly, this understanding of a human rights violation includes not only
interactional violations (perpetrated directly by human agents) but also institutional
violations (caused by human agents through the imposition of institutional
arrangements). Based on the explication of the question in Parts I and II, Part III goes
on to consider some of the evidence relevant to answering the question. This evidence
favors the conclusion that there exists a supranational institutional regime that
foreseeably and avoidably produces massive human rights deficits. By collaboratively
imposing this institutional scheme, we are indeed violating the human rights of the

Holden Caulfield Irony
American poet May Sarton once said, Everything I ve ever written is to understand
something, some idea, some emotion . This idea lends to understanding how the
autobiographical story telling of Holden and Dave helps them achieve some
semblance of therapy. Though A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius exists as
an acknowledged memoir, Holden Caulfield still gives his story through a first
person lens, making his story every ounce as autobiographical as Dave s. Because
the relationships that Dave and Holden cultivate over the course of their stories do
not exist as entirely successful ones, it that makes the relationships they have with
themselves all the more important. In an essay discussing the irony in Catcher in the
Rye , author Privitera says, The irony of Holden is that the harder he tries to keep his
family and friends at arm s length, the closer he comes to making unexpected
discoveries about them and even himself. In the commentary that he adds in
recollection, Holden shows his ability to revaluate certain situations and pinpoint
mistakes that he has... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I admit it (124). He shows mental capability by retrospectively acknowledging how
ridiculous his compulsion is to marry Sally, a girl he barely even likes.
Discernibly, Holden still fails to make entirely evaluative connections in his
autobiography; however by showing even a small degree of comprehension, there
remains hope that one day Holden may receive mitigation from his suffering
brought on by Allie s death. Though Dave Eggers presents himself as an
exceedingly self aware narrator, he still suffers in the same ways Holden, who is not
always cognitive of his traumas, does. Dave, like Holden, pushes people away, yet is
still able to make meaningful connections with himself. In the simple act of telling
their stories, their pain becomes not undetected, but
The Six Major Barriers Of Effective Communication
The Six Major Barriers of Effective Communication
Language can be loaded with meaning, beyond its dictionary definition. The
meaning of language is often encapsulated in culture from micro interpersonal to
macro international. Culture defines who we are and it is expressed in the language
we use. When culture is defined as a set of customs, traditions, beliefs, etc., it is
more than just a national identity: it is a Sunday social group, a visible minority or
youth group, a family run company, a corporate entity, a community. Culture
encompasses that which we identify with as a member of society whether it be a
large or small group within society. In today s world of business communication
using a common lingua franca such as English helps to make communication more
fluid but it is often not enough to bridge cross cultural gaps and common
misunderstandings. In our communication we need to be careful in the language we
use and the meaning we either knowingly or unknowingly impart on our listeners.
(Czako,K., 2015)
In our Business Communications text, the author (McLean, S. 2010) cites 6 major
barriers to communications. These major barriers are common in all languages
around the world and are therefore universal in their manifestation. They embody
the culture of a nation as much as they embody the daily life of a local community
group or individual. We identify with and use them on a daily basis. However their
place in a business setting is not always appreciated or

Introduction and Mission Statement What seems to be the trend in today s market
and what some are already practicing is the green life style. There is a need to
create a product that can adhere to this lifestyle in a way that helps the planet, can be
done safely and in style, with effortless routine, while clearly stating that you are
contributing to the green way of life. Environmentalism, which is associated with the
color green, is a broad philosophy and social movement which is centered on a
concern for the conservation and improvement of the environment (Wikipedia, 2009).

Amazon Tribals
Is it really beneficial to contact new tribes or communities who have been
uncontacted since forever probably? Even though that Stephanie Nolan suggests in
her article Last lost tribes of the Amazon fear being found that contacting these
humans will promote welfare to their standard of living, this can be only one side of
the problem. In this essay I will explain my disagreement with the idea of contacting
the amazon tribes for three reasons; cultureshock, unfamiliar diseases, and seizing the
Amazon tribes natural resources.
First, I do understand the amazon tribes desire to be uncontacted with the outside
world. According to Sydney Possuelo, a Brazilian explorer and leader of activists on
Brazil s isolated indigenous groups, Far from oblivious to the workings of the outside
world, they have studied it carefully, and want no part of it. Nolan s did use this
quotation in her article to show that the indigenous tribes have no interest to merge
with the outside world, at least not for the moment. Furthermore, the usage of satellite
coverage and helicopters to observe and monitor such people made more determinant
to express that it might be better for the home grown tribes to remain uncontacted.
The physical contact with the Amazon tribes can be disastrous and horrific which
might lead to a culture shock ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest By Donald
Trump
Donald Trump s run for presidency brings faithful supporters, angry critics, and a
plethora of headlines. Supportive followers ignore the plentiful reasons that deem
Trump unfit for presidency. For example, on several occasions comments and
statements made by Trump paint him as sexist and racist. In addition, Trump shares
similarities with Adolf Hitler, an unsettling realization. However, those who support
Donald Trumpargue that his economic experience as well as his honesty outweigh the
long list of his faults.
America, a country considered a melting pot, requires a president capable of
accepting those of different races and religions. Donald Trump s openly racist
remarks disqualify him from holding presidency. In a speech, Trump made the
assertion that all Muslim people should be barred from entering the U.S. (Pulliman
Moore). In response, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest stated What Donald
Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president (Pulliman Moore). In
addition, House Speaker Paul Ryan insisted that religious freedom was a fundamental
Constitutional principle (Pulliman Moore). Trump clearly crossed the line with his
comment. Displaying islamophobia violates the right of religious freedom, as granted
by the First Amendment. Presidential obligations include respecting and upholding
the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and Trump proves incapable of carrying out
that responsibility.
In addition to racism, Trump proves sexist as

As previously mentioned, though, those were all due to a digestive enzyme

perplexed by it, as well. The severity of my symptoms, the mysterious rash, the
absence of elevated bilirubin and fever and so on. I was left wondering what had
actually been wrong with me all of that time and what had almost killed me. Even
though the blame was placed on my gallbladder, I knew the pieces of that puzzle
simply did not fit. I knew the severe symptoms that I had were not characteristic of
gallbladder disease. Particularly not in the beginning, when there was only a very
small amount of gallbladder sludge. The very elevated liver enzymes I had were
also a mystery because they also do not occur when there is gallbladder sludge alone.
They can occur when there is sludge blocking a duct, but there never appeared to be
any obstructed ducts in either of the ultrasounds I had during that
Essay on Tell-tale Heart Literary Analysis
The Tell Tale Heart A Literary Analysis Like many of Poe s other works, the Tell
Tale Heart is a dark story. This particular one focuses on the events leading the
death of an old man, and the events afterwards. That s the basics of it, but there are
many deep meanings hidden in the three page short story. Poe uses techniques such
as first person narrative, irony and style to pull off a believable sense of paranoia.
In this particular story, Poe decided to write it in the first person narrative. This
technique is used to get inside the main character s head and view his thoughts and
are often exciting. The narrator in the Tell Tale Heart is telling the story on how he
killed the old man while pleading his sanity. To quote a phrase... Show more content

Poe s economic style of writing is a key instrument in making this story amazing.
In this story, he uses his style to truly bring out what he intended for the story a
study of paranoia. In example, I loved the old man. He had never wronged me. He
had never given me insult. For his gold I had no desire. I think it was his eye! Yes,
it was this! One of his eyes resembled that of a vulture a pale blue eye with a film
over it. Whenever it fell upon me my blood ran cold, and so by degrees, very
gradually, I made up my mind to take the life of the old man, and thus rid myself of
the eye for ever. it is easy to see that Poe used short sentences, to capture the rapid
thoughts of a twisted mind. Perhaps the biggest element in this story is the use of
irony, both verbally and dramatically. For verbal irony, we can see clearly at the
end that what the narrator tells the officers and how he acts on the outside, (in a
cool manner , as he puts it) is much different than the chaos on the inside, as in what
he wants to say. He sees the police as villains and wishes them to leave, but due to
the situation, he had to keep them there. The more that he assures himself of his
sanity near the end of the story and the more that he thinks that he is acting coolly,
eventually leads him to reveal that he is the one that killed the old man after all. As
for dramatic irony, since we know that the narrator is the one that killed the old man,

Appointment Scheduling Frameworks
Appointment scheduling frameworks are used in health care enterprises across the
globe to schedule appointments and provide administration to patients. There are
many factors that affects the adequacy of appointment scheduling framework and the
bottleneck lies in effective utilization of operation research techniques. The most
common type of appointment scheduling frameworks, their difficulties and the
possible conceivable arrangements with the aid of operation research techniques are
abridged in this paper. In the current fast paced world there is a huge demand for
health care services administrators and also there is tremendous weight on them to
enhance the productivity to match up the demand. Effective appointment organizing
system is the determination of patient s satisfaction and timely access to health
services. The measure of efficiency depends upon many factors like investment on
equipment, resources allocation and number of trained staff. The principal type of
patient appointment encounters are primary care, specialty care, elective surgeries
and these are again subdivided into scheduled and unscheduled visits. Each of these
environments has certain unique features which makes making appointments
troublesome and also diminishes efficiency and has two major access delays Indirect
and Direct.

The 9 Layers Of Hell Essay
Dante Alighieri was a major Italian poet born in 1265 A.D know most famously for
his Epic poem, the Devine Comedy. The Devine Comedy is a narration of Dante s
journey through Hell, purgatory and finally Heaven. Dante utilizes the notion of hell
to encourage, admonish and warn his readers of the contrapasso of their sins, the
different layers of hell, and famous leaders of his time. This essay is an exposition,
interpretation and critical analysis of the 9 layers of Hell depicted in Dante s epic,
the Inferno.
To begin Dante s trip to heaven to be with his one true love Beatrice, he must first
travel through hell. Directly through the gates of hell is the outlying regions of Hell,
or Ante inferno. This is the area that houses those who did not commit to good or
evil, but who lived their lives without making conscious moral choices. These souls
have been denied by both heaven and hell. This does not mean Ante inferno is much
more pleasant than hell. Souls here must constantly chase after blank banners while
flies and wasps constantly bite them and worms consume their blood and tears.
Neutral angels do the tormenting in this place. These are the angels that did not
choose God nor Satan in the war of heaven. This first punishment we see in our
journey through hell sets the stage for punishments that fit the crime. We see souls
having to chase a blank banner symbolizing the meaninglessness of their time on
earth. In the afterlife wasps and flies are present to sting
In Memento Film Techniques
Nolan has strong abilities in all areas of filmmaking. However, his main strengths
lie in directing and writing. This strong strength in screenwriting could be due to his
choice of study in university. He studied literature and we see this reflected in the
stories he sets out in his films as they are very intellectually thought of. In all of his
films, there is a trend of his directorial style. There are a couple of things that are
similar throughout his productions. The first is the themes he uses in his films. One
is the mentor apprentice relationship that is visible in Inception between Cobb and
Ariadne and in Memento between Leonard and the cop Teddy. The mentor apprentice

In Memento, the ending is chronologically the beginning of the story. In a way is
the ending a betrayal because the audience finds out that the narrator was actually
not trustworthy the whole time they were following him. I think the audience at
the end of the film is left to make certain of the same judgments that he is invited to
believe or disbelief certain elements of what is supposed to have happened in his
life as much as he is. Nolan often uses twists and surprises his audience because he
feels that endings are the most important part of a film. He says, I sometimes get
frustrated with studio executives and critics, who will watch a film and sort of
make notes as they go... because that s not how movies work. The audience gets to
the end and then you take about five minutes to decided ok what was all that and
your brain really looks at everything in a different way, and then you decide. That s
why endings are so important: you really have to get to the end of a movie before
you know what it is. (The Culture Show, 2012) Memento is a brain scratcher and
Nolan definitely made sure that his audience was willing to watch the film all the

Summary Of Robert Perry On Real Education
In the essay On Real Education , author Robert T. Perry refutes the beliefs of
Charles Murray, who in his book, writes that it is a waste of time trying to get
everybody a college education, as some people do not have the academic abilities
to endure it. Perry thinks that it will greatly damage the American society if we
removed all of the students that Murray believes do not belong in college. He first
gives reasons on why having more college graduates will benefit the American
economy. He then goes on to say how educated people are more suitable to do certain
jobs and live more enjoyable lives than people who do not go to college. Lastly, he
gives solutions on how to get more Americans in college to have a chance at getting
a degree. By his use of credible sources, appealing to logic, and effectively refuting
the opposition, Perry successfully persuades his audience of young students and
their parents that people are more successful and overall happy in their lives when
they have a college degree. However, his lack of real life examples and background
on his own educationslightly weakens his argument. In order to get his argument
across to his audience, Perry must make his readers trust that what he is saying is
accurate. He does this by mentioning credible sources that readers will likely
believe. One example of this from the essay is when he cites a report from The U.S
Department of Labor, which says the country needs more graduates if we are to keep
up with, let

Juan Pujol Garcia s Operation Failure
Winston Churchill famously said, In time of war, when truth is so precious, it must
be attended by a bodyguard of lies (Churchill, 1986, p. 338). The bodyguard of lies
which attended the Allied Forces invasion of Normandy, France (codenamed
Operation NEPTUNE) on 6 June 1944 was a large scale deception operation,
codenamed Operation FORTITUDE. A single British double agent operation was the
linchpin of this deception operation. This double agent succeeded in stalling Nazi
reinforcements to the Normandy for two months, thereby reducing Allied Forces
casualties and saving the beachhead expansion. Had German intelligence prioritized
acquiring additional human intelligence and taken greater care in vetting this agent,
they would have seen through the deception and sent adequate forces to counter the
Allied beach landings at Normandy. Juan Pujol Garcia: A Brief History The man
who would become the greatest double agent of the Second World War began his
under unique circumstances. Juan Pujol Garcia was born and raised in Barcelona,
Spain where he became a successful businessman, but lost his enterprise to the
violence of the Spanish Civil War. During the Spanish Civil War, Pujol was called
into service by the Republicans (Communists). Pujol despised the Republicans and
went into hiding to avoid conscription until he nearly starved.... Show more content

Pujol successfully convinced the Abwehr (German Foreign Intelligence) he was
an admirer of Hitler and Nazi ideology and offered his services as a spy. Despite
having no English language fluency, Pujol offered to spy for the Abwehr in
England. The Abwehr recruited Pujol as a spy and gave him the codename ALERIC
ARABEL. Pujol was instructed to pass his reports to the military attachГ© in the
Spanish Embassy (Harris Seaman, 2004, p. 10 13). The Abwehr officer trained Pujol
in secret writing and dispatched him to travel to England and begin spying (Roch,

According to the UN Human settlements programme (UN HABITAT) (2006) it was
estimated that in 2007 over a billion people, equivalent to nearly 30% of the world s
urban population would be living in informal settlements. It highlighted that in 2005
only 6% of the urban population in Europe and other developed regions lived in
informal settlements, compared to an astounding 41% of the urban population in
developing regions. Furthermore the report projected that within the next 30 years
the number of people living in informal settlements would reach nearly 2 billion if
no affirmative action is taken. With these figures being on the increase Millennium
Development Goal 7 target 11 sets out to ameliorate the lives of at least 100 million
people living in slums by 2025 (UN, 2000). Consequently this has placed emphasis
on the need to focus on the issues associated with urbanisation and the forming of
informal settlements as part of the global development agenda. The Organisation for
Economic Co operation and Development (OECD) ( 2001) defines informal
settlements as: 1. areas where groups of housing units have been constructed on land
that the occupants have no legal claim to, or occupy illegally; 2. unplanned
settlements and areas where housing is not in compliance with current planning and
building regulations (unauthorized housing). It is known that the main reasons for
migration from rural to urban areas is primarily for economic reasons and access to
better services.

American Romanticism
Not many people know or remember what Romanticism in American Literature is
exactly. A good majority of the American population has already learned about
Romanticism in some type of English class they took in high school, but not many,
just like myself, remember it entirely. Most of the population, as a whole, should
know about Romanticismin American Literature since it was a major part in our
Literature history while also having a brief recap of the history that follows with
Romanticism. To give a recap of what Romanticism is, Romanticism was an artistic,
literary, musical, and intellectual movement which originated in Europe around the
end of the 18th century. During this time, American Literature was finding its own
voice, known... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Many of the authors that demonstrated Romanticism were thinking outside of the box
to get this sense of Romanticism incorporated into their work bringing creativity and
the thought of emotion and individualism together in their work. We see
Romanticism in our art, literature, and music. In the early years of Romanticism, it
quickly spread to England in 1789, then, shortly after its expansion to England, it
then was picked up on in America. The Romanticism movement was considered a
philosophical movement which, in the midst of it gaining popularity, changed the
way that people think about themselves and other people around them in the world.
Many would agree that this time would be considered an age of revolution. with the
French and American Revolution going on it changed America in a semi drastic way
both literary and as a whole society. As a result of this popular movement many
different authors, including William Cullen Bryant with Thanatopsis , Henry
Longfellow with Paul Revere s Ride , and Washington Irving with the Devil and Tom
Walker included Romanticism in their works. In my opinion, I think that The Devil
and Tom Walker portrays the most use of the idea of Romanticism. Washington
Irving starts the story out with a man named Tom Walker, who only really cared
about money. As the story goes on, Tom decides

Field officers/Loan officers are the face of the organization. They are the ones who
regularly visit underprivileged in villages and assist them to work their way out of
poverty. In a vast country such as India which has many geographical and
infrastructure challenges it is essential that field officers spend most of their time in
the field. However, 30% of their valuable time is lost in essential paper work
involved in the field, data entry and other administrative tasks.
In order to relieve them from these cumbersome and error prone tasks, SKS has
embarked on a business transformation model that streamlines the field operations.
As a part of digitization, SKS has provided tabs that work exclusively offline.
Applications deployed on the tab are customized, secured and encrypted with
international standards. The SM just needs to sync the tab with the desktop to get
his mundane tasks done in seconds. As a result, he is now able to save much of the
needed time, which is now being used to visit more villages and uplift households. In
addition, SKS is able to cut administrative costs significantly.

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Digital Photography
In a world where everything is digital and photographs are normally taken with the
digital cameras, but there are number of photographers who are still shooting with
film or there are some who are newly interested in film formats.
Below are some pros and cons that I have discussed to evaluate the difference
between Film and Digital photography, respectively.
ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
1. You ll never have to pay for film or processing again
2. You don t have to wait to see the captured shot, you can view the shot immediately
after taking the photograph.
3. You can easily choose the images you want to print and the images can be easily
be deleted that you don t like.
4. You can record video with the digital cameras.
5. You can easily store the images.
6. You can continuously shoot with digital cameraas you don t have to worry about
the film.
7. You can delete the shot immediately after capturing the photo that... Show more

With an ability to shoot thousands of photos without the expensive need for
film, and you can press the preview button anytime to make sure the desired shot
was taken, and there is no need to spend hours in processing film, scanning, or
printing in a darkroom. And you can that If you are not patient and want instant
satisfaction, film photography is not for you. But if you love the anticipation of
developing a roll of film to see the results, watching a photograph develop on paper
in front of your eyes, and the satisfaction of knowing what you created without the
simplistic and robotic motions of a computer, then film photography is perfect for
you. It is not like that you are a better photographer if you shoot with digital camera
or film, in the end the only thing matters is the ability of the person behind the
camera to capture the image. So we can say that the it only depends on the person
whether he wants to use digital camera or film
Reflection Of The Double Helix
The Double Helix, written by James D. Watson, is an autobiographical portrayal of
the race to discover the molecular structure DNA. The characters throughout the book
consist of Francis Crick, Maurice Wilkins, Linus Pauling, Peter Pauling, Rosalind
Franklin, and Erwin Chargaff. Crick was Watson s partner in the discovery of DNA.
Maurice Wilkins worked at King s College in London and made Watson s interest
in DNA more prominent. Linus Pauling was a chemist at Caltech in California and
was intensely close to beating Watson and Crick to the figuring out the structure of
DNA. Rosalind Franklin worked under Maurice Wilkins at King s College faced
gender bias as a woman. Sir Lawrence Bragg was the Director of the Cavendish
Laboratory at Cambridge and the superior of Crick and Watson. Erwin Chargaff at
Columbia University was the scientist who discovered the rules in the bonding of
base pairs. Lastly, Peter Pauling gave Watson and Crick their last piece of evidence
to identify the double helix. The story was narrated by James Watson, who earned
his PhD in Zoology at Harvard.
The book began by Watson explaining his co workers by giving his experiences with
them. He explains how he himself ended up at the Cavendish Lab in Cambridge and
met Francis. Watson is only interested in studying things he finds fascinating, with
little to no education or interest in mathematics or chemistry, and he refuses to do so.
After attending a lecture by Maurice Wilkins, Watson becomes invested in the
The Experiment The Solubility Of A Salt Lab
Discussion of Instructional Strategies
The lesson titled The Solubility of a Salt Lab was a lab practical that incorporated
adjustments for both the ELL student and the student with an IEP. The ELL student
was partnered with a highly motivated and helpful student who often displayed
patience when working with peers. This student was allowed to give oral
responses to written responses on assessment, but then was also be encouraged to
attempt to write responses as well. The student with an IEP had a position assigned
in the lab in the corner with his left side isolated and his partner place on his better
functioning right side to take into consideration his difficulties processing language
and from his left side. He was also provided enlarged copies of lab data worksheets
to assist him recording data and encouraging him to show his calculations.
The lesson titled POGIL Saturated and Unsaturated Solutions incorporated the use of
an online PhET interactive simulation that is free and research based. The simulation
s graphics correlate well with the material in the POGIL lesson and served as a
stimulating activity to introduce the students to the concepts of concepts of
concentration and saturation. Students were encouraged to use their own internet
devices (phones and tablets), those few students without devices were allowed to use
the smartboard to run some simulations. This resource has two modes; qualitative (no
values) and quantitative (values added)
Academic Excellence Endowed Scholarship
As an economics major, I spent a majority of my undergraduate career examining
production functions, which are equations that estimate a level of output based on
certain variables such as capital, labor, and technology. During my studies, I began to
realize that education was a variable that almost always positively altered the level of
output for any given person, business, or environment. The importance of education
cannot be understated, therefore, I have the greatest appreciation for those who
continue to invest in students like myself. The St. Mary s UniversitySchool of Law
Foundation established the Academic Excellence Endowed Scholarship in order to
assist students with a record of academic excellence and leadership. Given the
criteria of LSAT scores, prior grade point average, undergraduate curriculum, and
leadership qualities, I believe that my body of work exemplifies the qualities
required of this scholarship. According to the 2015 2016 class profile, my GPA and
LSAT score fall above the 75th percentile of first year students. In partnership with
my position as the President of a funded startup company focused on promoting

Case Study Of Big Pharma
Developing and emerging markets present several challenges, which need to be
overcome by multinational Pharma firms. Pharmaceutical managers consider market
access to be their most important challenge. More specifically, the institutional voids
Big Pharma companies should consider are: Weak Infrastructure: a lack of healthcare
infrastructures and affordability can be expected to be a big challenge: some
countries currently do not have well developed healthcare infrastructures and hence
focus on improving access to healthcare for the population (low income base,
requirement for lower priced drugs, inadequate infrastructure to support distribution).
Patents and Regulations: legal and regulatory issues are reflected in the... Show more

It should also create partnership with the WHO, UNICEF, and the World Bank and
forms collaboration with local governments. For Big Pharma, having a local
knowledge is particularly valuable in order to establish closer collaboration with
the local sales force, the local distributors and local operations (local R D, local
manufacturing). Finally, Big Pharma should try to change the market context where
it is possible and they have the power to. Industrial policies could be harmful if
governments lack the required information and skills; so, first of all, governments
should have the right capabilities and incentives to successfully promote
pharmaceutical sector. In order to guarantee an effective design and execution of
those policies, I suggest working on both the vertical and the horizontal type. On one
hand, there is the need to target more pharmaceutical firms in order to have a wide
portfolio of medicines, necessary to address a broad range of diseases and to try
solving the prioritization problem. On the other hand, it is important to improve the
business environment in general, with: Basic infrastructure Improved human capital:

Social Mobility In Sport
Throughout generations, social mobility has become something everyone wants to
attain in their lifetime. Through social mobility comes a better and more stable life.
There are many ways to achieve maximum mobility, which include getting a higher
education and reducing risk in your life. There are also a lot of myths towards this
concept that has been portrayed by the media and one of the myths is the social
mobilitygained by a person playing a sport. Americans in today s world believe that
sports are the path we should take to have full financial and social flexibility.
Examples leading to this conclusion are obvious as we see kids from poor areas
escalate their nobility and capital through their abilities to compete in sports. From
the million dollar contracts and endorsement deals, the ideology behind being an
athlete is that your social mobility will rise, but many statistics will prove otherwise.
Although it is possible for athletes to gain revenue and fame, the overall ideology of
sports of gaining maximum social flexibility from being involved in a sport is a myth.
Before continuing about the myths of social mobility and the ideology behind
sports, readers need to be able to understand the true meanings behind these two
words. In the book Sport in Society by Jay Coakley, he begins to define social
mobility by stating, Social mobility is regarded as changes in wealth, education and
occupation over a person s lifetime or from one generation to the next (Coakley
The Five Major Plant Hormones
Hormones are a type of cell signaling used for long distance communication between
cells. Only target cells have the ability to respond to particularly hormones. In plants,
hormones will typically travel by vessels, diffusion across the cell, or in the air.
Auxins is one of the five major classes of plant hormones. The functions of auxins
include elongation of the stem, as well as promoting root growth, and another
function includes acting in phototropism and gravitropism. Phototropism is
essentially response to a light stimulates; gravitropism is response to gravity. Plants
have the capacity to detect light and sense gravity. The cells furthest from the light
have auxin which reacts to phototropism. The plant furthest from the light will have
elongated cells. The auxin hormones bind to plasma membrane receptors, this will
activate the proton pump. This proton pump will diffuse hydrogen ions out of the
cell which in turn has many effects. The effects include the cell wall loosening, the
turgor pressure of the cell will increase because water is entering the cell, and the
cells will enlarge. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Cytokinins move up the plant through the xylem. Whereas, auxins move down the
plant. Cytokinins works with Auxin to control cell differentiation. The many
functions of cytokinins include stimulation of germination, promote cell division,
and plant growth. This hormone helps result in plant growth because they are able to
release buds from apical dominance. Essentially, if a plant contains more cytokinins
that means more mitosis is occurring and if more mitosis is occurring that means
more cells are being produced and if more cells are being produced that means the

Gory Punishment In The Middle Ages
The Middle Ages in Europe, from 500 CE 1500 CE, featured gory punishments,
injustice and feudalistic laws designed to maintain order. The Medieval era
experienced changes and continuities in law and order which has influenced the
modern world. Changes and continuities were evident in punishments and power of
the king. Punishments underwent significant developments during the Anglo Saxon
period times. Punishments evolved because tribes grew in size and complexity
(MCGURK, 2006). However, in 500CE 800CE, Anglo Saxon rulers punished people
via processes called folkmoot and tithing groups. Folkmoot was the start of the jury
system and was used to determine guilt or innocence and tithing groups involved

Over the course of the next 1,000 years (the middle ages) many changes occurred, and
numerous things remained constant. One of the changes included the increasing
authority of the church. The church introduced schools/universities, care for the sick
and poor, legal advice and community services. (Easton and Saldais, 2013) This meant
they were more influential than the ruling king because it enhanced trust in the
community and built key infrastructure for their community s needs. In addition to
the increase of authority of the church, the crusaders also stirred up change in the
later parts of the Middle Ages. Evidence suggests that crusades caused the
relationships between the nobles and kings to weaken, but also increased
relationships between lords and peasants as peasants were grateful of the fewer taxes
and greater military protection from lords militaries. (Unknown Author, 2008).
Alongside this, new wealth, ideas (such as new castle and weaponry designs),
customs and products (such as foods, spices, perfumes and precious stones were
introduced because of the crusades. (Unknown Author, 2008) However, despite the
significant changes that occurred, the King remained the most important person in
the kingdom under the feudal system. This meant he kept peace within his Kingdom,
leased land to people in the community that were lower than himself in return for
money or food. Finally in order to maintain his position and the importance of his
authority, he ensured the next person to take the throne was a hereditary monarch.
To conclude, the king s power progressed and changed from the fall of the Middle
Ages to the end of the final
Construction of the Suez Canal
I had to write a report about one of the great man made structure of the world and I
had choice the Suez Canal .I will talk about the construction of the Suez Canal and
the purpose of building such a famous and an important man made structure in the
Arab World that make me proud of their working even there were no modern
equipment that help them in to their work. Canal is water manmade canal that where
ground before constructions by digging the ground to depth that allow water to go

the sea route for commercial ships were sailing from Europe to Asia especially to
India which was famous with their goods that make Europe countries to buy their
goods or tea etc.. so they should to sail from Europe around Africa to reach to India
or to reach in to their colonies in Asia or Africa that took long time and a high rate of

The Importance Of Land Conflict In The South China Sea
The South China Sea is the main time link between the Pacific and Indian oceans,
giving it enormous trade and military value (Rappler). There is a current conflict
over a territory occurring in the South China Sea. There are multiple countries
trying to militarize and attain the area. This is causing a lot of tension similar to
Alsace Lorraine and the Balkan region leading up to World War One. The
geographical resources that are in the sea make it very desirable. Land disputes
during World War One in the Balkans
and Alsace Lorraine, and those disputes that
are forming in the South China Sea could have been prevented with negotiation and
de militarization. Land disputes in the Balkans and Alsace Lorraine were a leading
cause to World War One. A big cause of European tension prior to World War 1 was
the continued instability and conflict in the Balkans. This land was a cluster of
nations including Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Bosnia (Alpha History).
The Balkans had few natural resources, making it less of an large economic prize
but more of a geographical prize. The Balkans were right in the middle of three key
empires: Ottoman Empire, Russia, and Austria Hungary. It had multiple water
sources and water ways which caused it to be strategically vital. This caused a lot of
European tension leading up to World War One. More tension caused by land was
between France and Germany called Alsace Lorraine, was a monumental piece of
land that created conflicts and
Capitalism Vs Capitalism
Capitalism is a system based on freedom, based on individual autonomy and rights
.it is essentially the economic result of a free market. Marx explains capitalism as a
means of production based on private ownership and no government interference.
For capitalism to be successful, prices of goods have to be competitive or lower than
the market value, and sources of labor have to be completely saturated to its carcass.
Capitalismdistinguishes itself from the feudal and the modern systems in that its
exploitation is more transparent. The exploitation of previous systems was hidden
behind religion, morality, and sentiments, whilst capitalism is maintained purely on
money and naked self interest.
Over the past decade, the United States has arguably moved to a more capitalist
economy, where all property, goods, and services are owned by private individuals.
Prices of commodity and labor are allowed to fluctuate based on the forces of supply
and demand, and industries are allowed to function and thrive independent of
government restrictions or interventions. (Ross, 2017). However, their adoption of a
capitalist economy is one which domination, vertical and horizontal monopoly
triumphs.
Capitalism in the United States has gradually transformed. It has become an economy
where domination, vertical and horizontal monopoly triumphs. The economy is not
only now intertwined with other aspects of society but sets the stage on the direction
the nation should go. The free market

It may seem small at first (just like that micro domino), but your tiny investment
now has the potential to grow into an unstoppable force over time. You may be
setting aside money regularly in a savings or checking account; however, with
those traditionally low interest rates you may as well be tossing your dominos in a
bag instead of setting them up for increasingly bigger returns. For example if you
started with an initial principal of investment of just $5,000 with an average return
of 7%, and didn t put in any more over the course of 35 years your investment would
be worth over $57,000. That s without you lifting a finger that s making your money

Write An Essay On The ARMY Doctrine
Introduction In ARMY Doctrine Publication 1 The ARMY it is stated that weapons
of mass destruction are the greatest threat to our homeland. (U.S. ARMY, 2012) As a
society we have weaponized everything from Chemical agents, Biological agents,
Radiological devices, and of course Nuclear bombs. Chemical warfare agents such as
saringas are near the top of the list of these WMD s. Originally sarin was developed
in Germany in 1938 as a pesticide, and later classified as a nerve agent. Sarin was
intended to be used as a pesticide but military and terrorist groups quickly took
advantage of the high volatility rate, 17,000 mg/m3 at 25 oC, and created
weaponized containers that would release this deadly gas on their targets. With a
chemical formula of CH3 P(=O)( F)( OCH(CH3)2), sarin is an organophosphorus
ester compound that produces potent and irreversible inhibition of cholinesterase.
(PubChem.com, 2017) It is this irreversible process that we must fight to prevent
before an attack, like the recent attacks in Syria that are a foresight of how vial
chemicals can... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The munitions hold two containers inside the first container is difluoro and inside
the second container is isopropanol which looks like CH3F2OP + C3H8O в†’
C4H10FO2P + HF. In this binary reaction there is double displacement going on
when the isopropanol knocks off one of the Fluorine atoms attaches itself to the
rest of the structure and creates a sarin molecule and a hydrogen fluoride
molecule. The heat in this process is exothermic and ideal to react at 115 degrees
Celcius. There are many reactions to create sarin such as using dichloro in place
of difluoro and reacting it with sodium fluoride and isopropanol. This way in a lab
should be more pure especially if created in a toluene solvent at 115 degrees Celcius
and will create hydrogen chloride and sodium chloride
The Kansas State University Orchestra Conducted
I recently attended the Kansas State University Orchestra conducted by Dr. David
Littrell and graduate student Travis Hale. The orchestra featured four pieces,
Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Minor composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, Petite Suite
composed by Claude Debussy arranged by Henri Busser, Overture to La Gazza Ladra
(The Thieving Magpie) composed by Gioachino Rossini, and Overture to Le roi d Ys
composed by Edouard Lalo. The first piece of musicperformed was the Orchestral
Suite No. 3 in D Minor. The melody of this piece was very conjunct and smooth.
The pitches fit together well and were played staccato, but in the Air, portion the
melody became more legato. Since a suite is a collection of dances this is very
metric. It is very easy to find a beat and tap your toe to the beat. Every movement of
this suite was very easy to find the beat. I believe the piece was in a quadruple
meter because the continuo, played by the double bass, could be counted into
four. The dynamics were very moderate staying within the range of forte and piano,
which is typical of the baroque period when this piece was written. The piece was
polyphonic and each section had their own parts that worked together to make the
piece. The piece could also be considered a call and response in the Bouree and
Gigue movements. The violins and woodwinds would play a part of the melody and
then the brass and bass would come in with a short response to their melody. The
next piece performed was Petite Suite
A Career In Special Education
Special education teachers remain in high demand. Although there are numerous
special education teaching jobs, there aren t enough individuals in the field to fill
these positions. Children suffering from mental or physical disabilities often need
special learning method and require more time and energy from their instructors.
Currently, approximately ten percent of individuals working in this field lack the
necessary credentials, and states are authorizing temporary licenses. Teachers with a
temporary license are then given a predetermined period of time to complete their
license. As the need for teachers in this field is expected to grow by approximately
35 percent over the coming decade, those wishing to become a special education
teacher will find they have numerous job opportunities.
Growth In Special Education
Dr. K. Lynn Boyer, is the Council of Exceptional Chldren s National Clearinghouse
for Professions in Special Education director. Dr. Boyer states there are roughly
380,000 teachers currently employed in the field. An estimated 13 ... Show more

At this time, universities train approximately 22,000 teachers to work in special
education teaching jobs every year. This is only 50 percent of the number needed to
fill these positions. Further exacerbating the problem is the departure rate of
educators currently working in the field. Studies show that a special education
teacher is significantly more likely to leave his or her profession than mainstream
educators. This is due in part to a lack of support on the part of school administrators,
mounting paperwork, minimal resources and more.
Misunderstood Culture In Things Fall Apart By Chinua
Achebe
Preconceived ideas about one s culture often arises from stereotypes passed down
from generation to generation. It is those stereotypes which shape one s way of
thinking, without being educated properly. In the novel Things Fall Apart, by
Chinua Achebe, misunderstood culture is what drives the story of a small African
clan called the Umuofia and the life story of Okonkwo, a fearless warrior and
farmer. An in depth look into pre colonial African culture helps the reader discover
and understand an unbiased point of view of a world one may not understand. In
doing so, Achebe uses imagery as well as strong narration to describe the cultural
norms and activities that the Nigerian tribe undergoes in everyday life. Through
this he offers a nonbiased point of view, and communicates and accurate picture of
pre colonial African culture to a western reader. Achebe uses the tribe s spirituality
as a beacon of relation to the western reader. Often times, westerners believe that
African culture and spirituality is riddled with mysticism and voodoo, however,
Achebe describes it differently through the use of imagery. In this quote, Achebe
explains The Feast of the New Yam, and its importance to the Umuofia people. It
was an occasion for giving thanks to Ani, the earth goddess and the source of all
fertility. Ani played a greater part in the life of people than any other deity. (Achebe
36). To the Umuofia, Ani was their explanation of where their vibrant crops and
healthy lives arose
Ecuador Research Paper
Agriculture has been the central figure of Ecuador s economy for most of the country
s history. Agriculture is the second largest section of the economy. Coffee, bananas,
and cacao, which is used to make chocolate, have been long important agricultural
products. Forty percent of the country export earnings come from the crops. Ecuador
is the world s top supplier of bananas. Banana farms spread out around the city of
Machala on the southern coast. Coffee and cacao are also important crops grown for
export. In addition to large scale farming, Ecuador has many small farms. In 1964 a
law broke up large farms and gave small plots of land to local people. These farms are
about 12 acres in size. The people who farm them typically grow enough food... Show

You might even get to pick the pig you ll be eating. Cuy with potatoes is a common
street food in the sierra region. Travelers should not order wild game unless they
are certain it is farmed rather than hunted. Seafood is often available inland, though
it is most plentiful and best on the coast, where shrimp, lobster, and a variety of
fish are always on the menu. The coastal region is famous for its ceviche, a cold
mixture of fish, conch, and/or shrimp marinated in lime juice and seasonings. The
marinade is said to cook the fish or seafood. Ceviche is a great treat for lunch or as an
appetizer. The potato is the king of Ecuadorean cuisine. It is eaten at almost every
meal, and as snacks. You ll find over 200 varieties of potatoes in the Andean region,
from tiny spuds no bigger than a peanut to larger varieties as big as a large orange,
with colors ranging from yellow to brown to purple to blue. Chile peppers are used

which is offered alongside most meals. Along with broccoli, palm hearts, cassava,

The Community In The Color Purple
What unites the characters of The Color Purple is a shared experience of suffering
(Fiske 151). In her article, Shanyn Fiske unifies all characters in The Color Purple
through something that everyone experiences in their life suffering. While all
characters suffer in the novel, Alice Walker illustrates the universal need for
community in order to cope and recognize our own unique experiences of suffering
The isolation and abuse that Celie receives and the unique path that she follows
modeled by Shug Avery shows the dire need for community in our lives. A turning
point in the dark life of Celie is when Celie and Shug talk about God saying,
Everything want to be loved. Us sing and dance and holler, just trying to be loved
(Walker 196). These ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The way Mary Agnes gravitates towards Shug for support shows the need for a
source of community in order to find answers on how to cope with the abuse she
receives from Sofia. After being used to save Sofia and later punched in the face,
Shug finally recognizes the potential in Mary Agnes, I mean, Mary Agnes, You
ought to sing in public (Walker 115). This small step Shug nonchalantly takes in
encouraging Mary to sing changes Mary Agnes life forever. This small hint of
community given to Mary Agnes highlights how much help so little community can
do for one person. Having little training and confidence in her singing ability, Mary
Agnes is inspired because of who the reassurance is coming from. Shug exudes
confidence and is one of the few women that stands up for herself in the novel. It is
because of these charismatic characteristics that Mary Agnes has so much trust in
Shug. Fiske suggests, Human beings...are capable of shaping their identities through
responsive interactions with others (152). This statement from Fiske illustrates the
importance of our responsive interactions because they shape who we are as a
person. Through Mary Agnes interactions with Shug, Mary finds confidence in her
true identity as a singer and builds her career from it because Shug gives her
compliments on her singing. When Mary Agnes finally recognizes her talent in
singing with the help of Shug Avery, she copes with the abuse but also finds her
unique path in life which is fruitful and
Ipv6 Transition
Abstract
The rapid diffusion of the Internet and development of high speed broadband
networks have posed the problem of inadequate IPv4 address space on the Internet.
Moreover, this lack of address space has been made worse by the progress made
towards the ubiquitous network society, in which various types of information
equipment, mobile computers and electrical appliances communicate on the internet.
IPv6 was developed as a solution to this problem. In this paper I discussed various
features provided by IPv6 over IPv4 in terms of improved security, lower
administration cost, QoS options, mobility, auto configuration, and peer to peer
capability etc. The transition mechanisms in use today are discussed in details. I have
conducted a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It is important to understand that no matter what technology dominate the market
today; tomorrow it will have to be upgraded to fulfil the demand. When IPv4 was
developed it was the latest protocol to meet the demand of the time. Since the time
has changes so has the demand, the need for change was inevitable. IPv6 introduced
the features like increased address space allocation, stateless address configuration
etc which have taken the limit of internet protocol to the edge. The reason behind
choosing the topic of the evolution of internet protocol is to gain detailed knowledge
on IP and its purpose and also discuss the issues related to the transition of IPv4 to
IPv6. Besides the need for the transition and the transition mechanisms will be
discussed.
3 Scope of the Research
To conduct the research I will survey on three leading ISPs from Bangladesh. It
would have been much more informative if an interview could have been carried out
in person. But since it couldn t be done I will prepare a questionnaire to conduct a
survey which will find out the current structure of the organisations and how the
transition can be done.
1. Brief History of Internet
The internet has revolutionized the computer and the communications like nothing
else. It is the capability of broadcasting world wide, a mechanism for sending
information in different formats and the medium of collaboration and interaction
between individuals and their communication devises regardless of
Clostridium Difficile Infection ( Cdi ) Is The Most
Common...
Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) is the most common cause of antibiotic
associated diarrhea (AAD). Rapid diagnosis of CDI is essential to prevent hospital
spread of infection. The aims were to determine the prevalence of CDI among
cases of AAD in Zagazig University Hospitals, identify risk factors, and evaluate
real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and enzyme immunoassay (EIA),
against toxigenic culture (TC). Stools were collected from 150 patients with
AAD. They were tested for TC, toxin A/B EIA, and C. difficile tcdA/tcdB genes.
Thirty four toxigenic C. difficile isolates were obtained (22.7%) out of the 150
patients and those patients were considered positive for CDI. On the other hand, 6
non toxigenic C. difficile isolates were obtained (4%), while culture of the
remaining 110 patients (73.3%) did not yield C. difficile. The later 116 patients
(77.3%) were considered negative for CDI. Analysis of risk factors revealed that
advanced age, prolonged hospitalization, long duration of antibiotic intake,
potentiated penicillins, 3rd generation cephalosporins, antibiotic combined therapy,
liver cirrhosis, malignancy, proton pump inhibitors, enteral tube feeding, and cancer
chemotherapy were significantly associated with CDI. Sensitivitiy, specificitiy,
positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of real time PCR
against TC were all 100%, however, values of EIA were 79.4%, 100%, 100%, 94.3%,
95.3%, respectively. Conclusion: CDI is an
Literary Analysis OfBullet In The Brain, By Tobias Wolff
Do not laugh at the man with the gun, you will get a bullet in the brain
The short story, Bullet in the brain, by Tobias Wolff, Is told through third person
narration, the narrator has unlimited omniscience. The protagonist is Ander s, He is
suffering from ennui and alienation. Ander s seems to have distanced himself from
others and created his own reality in his head instead of the world around him;
causing the world around him to become like a story. Which he despises because of
his line of work, a book critic. While doing so he constantly criticizes the world
around him as if it is a story and ends up getting killed in the process. Through tone,
setting, and style the author, Tobias Wolff, created a wonderful short story that
compares to no other.
The tone of the story is annoyed, the author, Tobias Wolff, makes the atmosphere
while you read seem as if you are disgusted with the other characters in the story. It
is as if the tone of the short story is making fun of all the other characters involved. It
made the author of this analysis feel like laughing in a condescending manner. The
protagonist, Ander s is a book critic in the short story, and it is as he has
disconnected from reality, or has created his own in his mind. That the real reality
is only a poorly written book that he must criticize as such. While doing so, he
plays with death, making fun of the robber for his poor and clichГ© choice of
words instead of fearing for his life when the robber has a gun to his head
threatening his life. A good example of Ander s mockery is, Anders burst out
laughing. He covered his mouth with both hands and said, I m sorry, I m sorry, then
snorted helplessly through his fingers and said, Capiche oh, God, capiche, (Wolff,
247)
The obvious antagonists in the story is the robbers whom take Ander s life. Really
it was only the robber with a sawed off shot gun, the other robber is a flat character
and is only used as filler. Having only one line and no description what so ever. The
only character in the entire short story that has many lines, and a little back story is
Ander s and its only after he is dead that the reader learns anything more about him
than that he is a book critic. It was not until he had a

How To Write A Good Title For An Essay.pdf

  • 1. How To Write A Good Title For An Essay Crafting an essay on the intricacies of creating a compelling title for an essay might seem deceptively straightforward at first glance. However, delving into the nuances of this seemingly simple task reveals a labyrinth of considerations and challenges that demand careful navigation. To start, one must grapple with the elusive nature of a "good" title. What defines goodness in this context? Is it clarity, creativity, conciseness, or a delicate balance of all three? Answering these questions requires a deep dive into the psychology of readers, understanding how titles impact their perception and engagement. The challenge intensifies when attempting to balance creativity with relevance. Striking the perfect chord between uniqueness and coherence can feel like walking a tightrope, requiring a keen sense of the essay's essence and audience expectations. Each word must be meticulously chosen to encapsulate the core message, all while enticing readers to explore further. Furthermore, the essay itself becomes a meta-exercise, as the title must reflect the essay's content accurately. Achieving this alignment is no mean feat, as it demands a profound understanding of the subject matter and the ability to distill its essence into a few carefully chosen words. Addressing the technical aspects of titling introduces another layer of complexity. The delicate dance of balancing keyword relevance for search engines with human appeal for readers necessitates a strategic approach. This intersection of art and science underscores the multifaceted nature of the task. In the end, attempting to encapsulate the art of crafting a stellar essay title proves to be a formidable challenge, demanding a nuanced understanding of language, psychology, and the specific context of the essay itself. The process is akin to threading a needle with precision and finesse, each title an intricate tapestry of words designed to captivate and inform. Boston Massacre Analysis The British Side of the Boston Massacre Mykenzie Cotiaux Between the hours of nine and ten o clock, being in my master s house, was alarmed by the cry of fire, I ran down as far as the town house, and then heard that the soldiers and the inhabitants were fighting in the alley... I then left them and went to King street. I then saw a party of soldiers loading their muskets about the Custom house door, after which they all shouldered. I heard some of the inhabitants cry out, heave no snow balls , others cried they dare not fire . The Boston massacre has been no massacre it was propaganda. The incident that happened March 5th, 1770 in the streets of Boston only killed five people and had six people with non fatal injuries. There were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Boston massacre was played out to be such a big thing, although it was a misunderstanding. It was the colonists who were asking for there to be trouble. If the colonists were not throwing things and beating the British then the gun would have never gone off. The colonists were protesting against someone who was not doing anything wrong. Why were the colonists protesting something that we still have today? Before the colonists were threatening the British the British was just doing their jobs. The colonists were the ones threatening the British so why were the British put in jail for it? In conclusion, 8 British soldiers were arrested for using self defense. If the colonists were not protesting no shots would have been fired so the Boston massacre would have never happened, in the end the Boston massacre was just propaganda towards the
  • 3. Abraham Lincoln s Racist Arguments With Stephen Douglas Lincoln always hated slavery, but he was smart enough not to publicly announce it. His public statements on slavery and race have been the cause of controversy throughout the years, as he often seems to almost contradict himself at first glance. However, analyzing the seemingly racist statements he would make shows that they were all part of a bigger plan. Had he simply told the racist audiences that their beliefs were wrong, they would have rejected him outright. Instead, he would use ambiguous language to make it seem as if he shared their beliefs, and then use sound logic to argue in favor of his own point. By doing this, he molded the opinions of his audience in an extremely effective manner. Lincoln used his skills to the fullest extent throughout his debates with Stephen Douglas. In these debates, Douglas frequently attacked Lincoln s views on race, forcing Lincoln on the defensive. Douglas claimed that Lincoln was in support of intermarriage, full equality for blacks, and other such things all propositions that drew horror from the average member of the audience. However, Lincoln turned all ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is a statement that could potentially be construed as racist, but in all reality has almost no meaning. It is a smokescreen, there to make his audience think that he is on their side. Following this, Lincoln first states that despite any potential differences, blacks still have the same right that others do to live a free life. He follows this statement up with a direct appeal to his crowd, asking to simply leave the blacks alone. Lincoln avoids asking his audience to change the beliefs they have grown up with, and instead just asks them not to act upon those beliefs. By changing the focal point of his anti slavery argument, he is able to avoid provoking his audience and make logical points that they find it hard to disagree
  • 4. Examining Genetic Influence On Intelligence Identical twin studies are most useful in determining genetic influence on intelligence. Since the identical twins share the same exact genes, the straightforward comparison of intelligence can display if this human trait is truly heritable. Similarity of intelligence scores between identical twins supports the genetic influence on intelligence. According to Myers (2007), Across studies of 10,000 twins, the intelligence test scores of identical twins reared together are virtually as similar as those of the same person taking the same test twice...Likewise, the test scores of identical twins reared separately are similar enough to lead twin researcher Thomas Bouchard (1996) to estimate that about 70 percent of intelligence score variation can be attributed to genetic variation. (p. 455) As stated by Myers (2007), in the above quote, adopted twins studies also play a role in determining levels of intelligence and its heritability. However, like in all other psychological testing, correlation does not always mean causation and atypical findings may find their way into the data poll. It must also be noted that in order to successfully foster an identical twin study, all the twins should be adopted. This provides for a better chance for the twins to grow up in a different environment from their biological parents. If this is not the cases, how can professionals determine that environmental influences are not the cause of the intellectual levels? In addition, if separated,
  • 5. Authorship Of Hebrews The author for the book of Hebrews is unknown, as there is no ascription or introduction given by the author; therefore, scholars may only propose possible authors without confirming who it is. With that said, many scholars have pushed for Pauline because in earlier manuscripts Hebrews followed Romans which they thought warranted Pauline authorship. Some of the early church fathers believe that there is Pauline influence, however, not Pauline authorship simply for the reason that Hebrews seems to be written by a well educated Greek with elaborate and complex language. There are other suggestions made by scholars, most of which they are unable to support. Pricilla is one example, it would be fitting for her authorship of Hebrews based on her being in Paul s inner circle and the book having Pauline influence, however, one would have to look past the strong presence of the authors masculine self reference.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Moreover, Luke translates Barnabas to mean son of consolation which ties into Hebrews being a word of consolation (Johnson). He is also described as interacting with Paul through missions, which Paul confirms in his letters, however, this does not confirm his authorship as there are also various things that would not agree with his authorship. Lastly, there is discussion concerning Apollos as the author of Hebrews, there are many connections that have been made, such as, Apollos being a Jew and Hebrews showing strong knowledge of Judaism, Apollos being well learned in the Scriptures and the intricate scriptural citations used in Hebrews, among other things. Though there are many aspects that agree with Apollos authorship, it must only be speculation due to the disagreements that also arise in the argument for his
  • 6. The Pros And Cons Of The Global Resource Dividend Over last two decades a problem on human rights and poverty has been excessively debated. Originally, it was provoked by Thomas Pogge, who claimed that people living in well being violate human rights of people living in poverty by not helping them and being beneficiaries of global institutional order. Consequently, affluent countries are responsible for reducing misery in the world, because current global economic order disproportionately serves for humankind (Pogge 2005, severe poverty ). To be precise, wealthy countries are continuing to grow rich, while poor countries are continuing to peter out. To challenge this problem, Pogge proposes a moderate program so called The Global Resources Dividend (GRD). This literature review is supposed to unveil advantages and disadvantages of the GRD ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Part II then proposes a specific understanding of what it means to violate human rights. I will argue that a human rights violation involves non fulfillment of human rights as well as a specific causal relation of human agents to such non fulfillment. Importantly, this understanding of a human rights violation includes not only interactional violations (perpetrated directly by human agents) but also institutional violations (caused by human agents through the imposition of institutional arrangements). Based on the explication of the question in Parts I and II, Part III goes on to consider some of the evidence relevant to answering the question. This evidence favors the conclusion that there exists a supranational institutional regime that foreseeably and avoidably produces massive human rights deficits. By collaboratively imposing this institutional scheme, we are indeed violating the human rights of the world s
  • 7. Holden Caulfield Irony American poet May Sarton once said, Everything I ve ever written is to understand something, some idea, some emotion . This idea lends to understanding how the autobiographical story telling of Holden and Dave helps them achieve some semblance of therapy. Though A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius exists as an acknowledged memoir, Holden Caulfield still gives his story through a first person lens, making his story every ounce as autobiographical as Dave s. Because the relationships that Dave and Holden cultivate over the course of their stories do not exist as entirely successful ones, it that makes the relationships they have with themselves all the more important. In an essay discussing the irony in Catcher in the Rye , author Privitera says, The irony of Holden is that the harder he tries to keep his family and friends at arm s length, the closer he comes to making unexpected discoveries about them and even himself. In the commentary that he adds in recollection, Holden shows his ability to revaluate certain situations and pinpoint mistakes that he has... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I admit it (124). He shows mental capability by retrospectively acknowledging how ridiculous his compulsion is to marry Sally, a girl he barely even likes. Discernibly, Holden still fails to make entirely evaluative connections in his autobiography; however by showing even a small degree of comprehension, there remains hope that one day Holden may receive mitigation from his suffering brought on by Allie s death. Though Dave Eggers presents himself as an exceedingly self aware narrator, he still suffers in the same ways Holden, who is not always cognitive of his traumas, does. Dave, like Holden, pushes people away, yet is still able to make meaningful connections with himself. In the simple act of telling their stories, their pain becomes not undetected, but
  • 8. The Six Major Barriers Of Effective Communication The Six Major Barriers of Effective Communication Language can be loaded with meaning, beyond its dictionary definition. The meaning of language is often encapsulated in culture from micro interpersonal to macro international. Culture defines who we are and it is expressed in the language we use. When culture is defined as a set of customs, traditions, beliefs, etc., it is more than just a national identity: it is a Sunday social group, a visible minority or youth group, a family run company, a corporate entity, a community. Culture encompasses that which we identify with as a member of society whether it be a large or small group within society. In today s world of business communication using a common lingua franca such as English helps to make communication more fluid but it is often not enough to bridge cross cultural gaps and common misunderstandings. In our communication we need to be careful in the language we use and the meaning we either knowingly or unknowingly impart on our listeners. (Czako,K., 2015) In our Business Communications text, the author (McLean, S. 2010) cites 6 major barriers to communications. These major barriers are common in all languages around the world and are therefore universal in their manifestation. They embody the culture of a nation as much as they embody the daily life of a local community group or individual. We identify with and use them on a daily basis. However their place in a business setting is not always appreciated or

Even though that Stephanie Nolan suggests in her article Last lost tribes of the Amazon fear being found that contacting these humans will promote welfare to their standard of living, this can be only one side of the problem. In this essay I will explain my disagreement with the idea of contacting the amazon tribes for three reasons; cultureshock, unfamiliar diseases, and seizing the Amazon tribes natural resources. First, I do understand the amazon tribes desire to be uncontacted with the outside world. According to Sydney Possuelo, a Brazilian explorer and leader of activists on Brazil s isolated indigenous groups, Far from oblivious to the workings of the outside world, they have studied it carefully, and want no part of it. The media became involved and questioned Al Dunlap‟s leadership. • 14. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest By Donald Trump Donald Trump s run for presidency brings faithful supporters, angry critics, and a plethora of headlines. Supportive followers ignore the plentiful reasons that deem Trump unfit for presidency. For example, on several occasions comments and statements made by Trump paint him as sexist and racist. In addition, Trump shares similarities with Adolf Hitler, an unsettling realization. However, those who support Donald Trumpargue that his economic experience as well as his honesty outweigh the long list of his faults. America, a country considered a melting pot, requires a president capable of accepting those of different races and religions. Donald Trump s openly racist remarks disqualify him from holding presidency. In a speech, Trump made the assertion that all Muslim people should be barred from entering the U.S. (Pulliman Moore). In response, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest stated What Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president (Pulliman Moore). In addition, House Speaker Paul Ryan insisted that religious freedom was a fundamental Constitutional principle (Pulliman Moore). Trump clearly crossed the line with his comment. Displaying islamophobia violates the right of religious freedom, as granted by the First Amendment. Presidential obligations include respecting and upholding the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and Trump proves incapable of carrying out that responsibility. In addition to racism, Trump proves sexist as

If the doctor clearly knew, or even suspected, my symptoms were due to my gallbladder, diagnosis codes for that would have been listed on those bills, but they were not. I am very familiar with medical coding and understand how it is used because I worked in the medical field for many years, and I used those codes for much of that time. • 16. Essay on Tell-tale Heart Literary Analysis The Tell Tale Heart A Literary Analysis Like many of Poe s other works, the Tell Tale Heart is a dark story. This particular one focuses on the events leading the death of an old man, and the events afterwards. That s the basics of it, but there are many deep meanings hidden in the three page short story. Poe uses techniques such as first person narrative, irony and style to pull off a believable sense of paranoia. In this particular story, Poe decided to write it in the first person narrative. This technique is used to get inside the main character s head and view his thoughts and are often exciting. The narrator in the Tell Tale Heart is telling the story on how he killed the old man while pleading his sanity. To quote a phrase... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Poe s economic style of writing is a key instrument in making this story amazing. In this story, he uses his style to truly bring out what he intended for the story a study of paranoia. In example, I loved the old man. He had never wronged me. He had never given me insult. For his gold I had no desire. I think it was his eye! Yes, it was this! One of his eyes resembled that of a vulture a pale blue eye with a film over it. Whenever it fell upon me my blood ran cold, and so by degrees, very gradually, I made up my mind to take the life of the old man, and thus rid myself of the eye for ever. it is easy to see that Poe used short sentences, to capture the rapid thoughts of a twisted mind. Perhaps the biggest element in this story is the use of irony, both verbally and dramatically. For verbal irony, we can see clearly at the end that what the narrator tells the officers and how he acts on the outside, (in a cool manner , as he puts it) is much different than the chaos on the inside, as in what he wants to say. He sees the police as villains and wishes them to leave, but due to the situation, he had to keep them there. The more that he assures himself of his sanity near the end of the story and the more that he thinks that he is acting coolly, eventually leads him to reveal that he is the one that killed the old man after all. As for dramatic irony, since we know that the narrator is the one that killed the old man,

There are many factors that affects the adequacy of appointment scheduling framework and the bottleneck lies in effective utilization of operation research techniques. The most common type of appointment scheduling frameworks, their difficulties and the possible conceivable arrangements with the aid of operation research techniques are abridged in this paper. In the current fast paced world there is a huge demand for health care services administrators and also there is tremendous weight on them to enhance the productivity to match up the demand. Effective appointment organizing system is the determination of patient s satisfaction and timely access to health services. The measure of efficiency depends upon many factors like investment on equipment, resources allocation and number of trained staff. The principal type of patient appointment encounters are primary care, specialty care, elective surgeries and these are again subdivided into scheduled and unscheduled visits. Each of these environments has certain unique features which makes making appointments troublesome and also diminishes efficiency and has two major access delays Indirect and Direct.

The Devine Comedy is a narration of Dante s journey through Hell, purgatory and finally Heaven. Dante utilizes the notion of hell to encourage, admonish and warn his readers of the contrapasso of their sins, the different layers of hell, and famous leaders of his time. This essay is an exposition, interpretation and critical analysis of the 9 layers of Hell depicted in Dante s epic, the Inferno. To begin Dante s trip to heaven to be with his one true love Beatrice, he must first travel through hell. Directly through the gates of hell is the outlying regions of Hell, or Ante inferno. This is the area that houses those who did not commit to good or evil, but who lived their lives without making conscious moral choices. These souls have been denied by both heaven and hell. This does not mean Ante inferno is much more pleasant than hell. Souls here must constantly chase after blank banners while flies and wasps constantly bite them and worms consume their blood and tears. Neutral angels do the tormenting in this place. These are the angels that did not choose God nor Satan in the war of heaven. This first punishment we see in our journey through hell sets the stage for punishments that fit the crime. We see souls having to chase a blank banner symbolizing the meaninglessness of their time on earth. In the afterlife wasps and flies are present to sting

This strong strength in screenwriting could be due to his choice of study in university. He studied literature and we see this reflected in the stories he sets out in his films as they are very intellectually thought of. In all of his films, there is a trend of his directorial style. There are a couple of things that are similar throughout his productions. The first is the themes he uses in his films. One is the mentor apprentice relationship that is visible in Inception between Cobb and Ariadne and in Memento between Leonard and the cop Teddy. The mentor apprentice relationship is also a technique Nolan uses in his filmmaking... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In Memento, the ending is chronologically the beginning of the story. In a way is the ending a betrayal because the audience finds out that the narrator was actually not trustworthy the whole time they were following him. I think the audience at the end of the film is left to make certain of the same judgments that he is invited to believe or disbelief certain elements of what is supposed to have happened in his life as much as he is. Nolan often uses twists and surprises his audience because he feels that endings are the most important part of a film. He says, I sometimes get frustrated with studio executives and critics, who will watch a film and sort of make notes as they go... because that s not how movies work. The audience gets to the end and then you take about five minutes to decided ok what was all that and your brain really looks at everything in a different way, and then you decide. That s why endings are so important: you really have to get to the end of a movie before you know what it is. (The Culture Show, 2012) Memento is a brain scratcher and Nolan definitely made sure that his audience was willing to watch the film all the way to the

Perry refutes the beliefs of Charles Murray, who in his book, writes that it is a waste of time trying to get everybody a college education, as some people do not have the academic abilities to endure it. Perry thinks that it will greatly damage the American society if we removed all of the students that Murray believes do not belong in college. He first gives reasons on why having more college graduates will benefit the American economy. He then goes on to say how educated people are more suitable to do certain jobs and live more enjoyable lives than people who do not go to college. Lastly, he gives solutions on how to get more Americans in college to have a chance at getting a degree. By his use of credible sources, appealing to logic, and effectively refuting the opposition, Perry successfully persuades his audience of young students and their parents that people are more successful and overall happy in their lives when they have a college degree. However, his lack of real life examples and background on his own educationslightly weakens his argument. In order to get his argument across to his audience, Perry must make his readers trust that what he is saying is accurate. He does this by mentioning credible sources that readers will likely believe. One example of this from the essay is when he cites a report from The U.S Department of Labor, which says the country needs more graduates if we are to keep up with, let

The bodyguard of lies which attended the Allied Forces invasion of Normandy, France (codenamed Operation NEPTUNE) on 6 June 1944 was a large scale deception operation, codenamed Operation FORTITUDE. A single British double agent operation was the linchpin of this deception operation. This double agent succeeded in stalling Nazi reinforcements to the Normandy for two months, thereby reducing Allied Forces casualties and saving the beachhead expansion. Had German intelligence prioritized acquiring additional human intelligence and taken greater care in vetting this agent, they would have seen through the deception and sent adequate forces to counter the Allied beach landings at Normandy. • 25. Light Leadership Initiative According to the UN Human settlements programme (UN HABITAT) (2006) it was estimated that in 2007 over a billion people, equivalent to nearly 30% of the world s urban population would be living in informal settlements. It highlighted that in 2005 only 6% of the urban population in Europe and other developed regions lived in informal settlements, compared to an astounding 41% of the urban population in developing regions. Furthermore the report projected that within the next 30 years the number of people living in informal settlements would reach nearly 2 billion if no affirmative action is taken. With these figures being on the increase Millennium Development Goal 7 target 11 sets out to ameliorate the lives of at least 100 million people living in slums by 2025 (UN, 2000). Consequently this has placed emphasis on the need to focus on the issues associated with urbanisation and the forming of informal settlements as part of the global development agenda. The Organisation for Economic Co operation and Development (OECD) ( 2001) defines informal settlements as: 1. areas where groups of housing units have been constructed on land that the occupants have no legal claim to, or occupy illegally; 2. unplanned settlements and areas where housing is not in compliance with current planning and building regulations (unauthorized housing). It is known that the main reasons for migration from rural to urban areas is primarily for economic reasons and access to better services.

There are many ways to achieve maximum mobility, which include getting a higher education and reducing risk in your life. There are also a lot of myths towards this concept that has been portrayed by the media and one of the myths is the social mobilitygained by a person playing a sport. Americans in today s world believe that sports are the path we should take to have full financial and social flexibility. Examples leading to this conclusion are obvious as we see kids from poor areas escalate their nobility and capital through their abilities to compete in sports. From the million dollar contracts and endorsement deals, the ideology behind being an athlete is that your social mobility will rise, but many statistics will prove otherwise. Although it is possible for athletes to gain revenue and fame, the overall ideology of sports of gaining maximum social flexibility from being involved in a sport is a myth. In plants, hormones will typically travel by vessels, diffusion across the cell, or in the air. Auxins is one of the five major classes of plant hormones. The functions of auxins include elongation of the stem, as well as promoting root growth, and another function includes acting in phototropism and gravitropism. Phototropism is essentially response to a light stimulates; gravitropism is response to gravity. Plants have the capacity to detect light and sense gravity. The cells furthest from the light have auxin which reacts to phototropism. The plant furthest from the light will have elongated cells. The auxin hormones bind to plasma membrane receptors, this will activate the proton pump. This proton pump will diffuse hydrogen ions out of the cell which in turn has many effects. The effects include the cell wall loosening, the turgor pressure of the cell will increase because water is entering the cell, and the cells will enlarge. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 39. Capitalism Vs Capitalism Capitalism is a system based on freedom, based on individual autonomy and rights .it is essentially the economic result of a free market. Marx explains capitalism as a means of production based on private ownership and no government interference. For capitalism to be successful, prices of goods have to be competitive or lower than the market value, and sources of labor have to be completely saturated to its carcass. Capitalismdistinguishes itself from the feudal and the modern systems in that its exploitation is more transparent. The exploitation of previous systems was hidden behind religion, morality, and sentiments, whilst capitalism is maintained purely on money and naked self interest. Over the past decade, the United States has arguably moved to a more capitalist economy, where all property, goods, and services are owned by private individuals. Prices of commodity and labor are allowed to fluctuate based on the forces of supply and demand, and industries are allowed to function and thrive independent of government restrictions or interventions. (Ross, 2017). However, their adoption of a capitalist economy is one which domination, vertical and horizontal monopoly triumphs. Capitalism in the United States has gradually transformed. It has become an economy where domination, vertical and horizontal monopoly triumphs. The economy is not only now intertwined with other aspects of society but sets the stage on the direction the nation should go. The free market

  • 42. Financial Editor Adam O Daniel Reported On The Charlotte... Financial Editor Adam O Daniel reported on the Charlotte Business Journal about Prudential pulling a Retirement Challenge stunt at the NASCAR Hall of Fame Courtyard in Charlotte, N.C. The company toppled a 30 foot tall domino stone, beginning with just a normal size domino, to illustrate the long term outcome of systematic retirement investing. The stunt involved Harvard professor and best selling author Dan Gilbert asking bystanders how much moneythey had in their pockets. He then calculated how much that amount, $45 in one example, would grow into if saved on a weekly or monthly basis. You may be setting aside money regularly in a savings or checking account; however, with those traditionally low interest rates you may as well be tossing your dominos in a bag instead of setting them up for increasingly bigger returns. For example if you started with an initial principal of investment of just $5,000 with an average return of 7%, and didn t put in any more over the course of 35 years your investment would be worth over $57,000. (U.S. ARMY, 2012) As a society we have weaponized everything from Chemical agents, Biological agents, Radiological devices, and of course Nuclear bombs. Chemical warfare agents such as saringas are near the top of the list of these WMD s. Originally sarin was developed in Germany in 1938 as a pesticide, and later classified as a nerve agent. Sarin was intended to be used as a pesticide but military and terrorist groups quickly took advantage of the high volatility rate, 17,000 mg/m3 at 25 oC, and created weaponized containers that would release this deadly gas on their targets. With a chemical formula of CH3 P(=O)( F)( OCH(CH3)2), sarin is an organophosphorus ester compound that produces potent and irreversible inhibition of cholinesterase. (PubChem.com, 2017) It is this irreversible process that we must fight to prevent before an attack, like the recent attacks in Syria that are a foresight of how vial chemicals can... The heat in this process is exothermic and ideal to react at 115 degrees Celcius. There are many reactions to create sarin such as using dichloro in place of difluoro and reacting it with sodium fluoride and isopropanol. This way in a lab should be more pure especially if created in a toluene solvent at 115 degrees Celcius and will create hydrogen chloride and sodium chloride
  • 44. The Kansas State University Orchestra Conducted I recently attended the Kansas State University Orchestra conducted by Dr. David Littrell and graduate student Travis Hale. The orchestra featured four pieces, Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Minor composed by Johann Sebastian Bach, Petite Suite composed by Claude Debussy arranged by Henri Busser, Overture to La Gazza Ladra (The Thieving Magpie) composed by Gioachino Rossini, and Overture to Le roi d Ys composed by Edouard Lalo. The first piece of musicperformed was the Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Minor. The melody of this piece was very conjunct and smooth. The pitches fit together well and were played staccato, but in the Air, portion the melody became more legato. Since a suite is a collection of dances this is very metric. It is very easy to find a beat and tap your toe to the beat. Every movement of this suite was very easy to find the beat. I believe the piece was in a quadruple meter because the continuo, played by the double bass, could be counted into four. The dynamics were very moderate staying within the range of forte and piano, which is typical of the baroque period when this piece was written. The piece was polyphonic and each section had their own parts that worked together to make the piece. The piece could also be considered a call and response in the Bouree and Gigue movements. The violins and woodwinds would play a part of the melody and then the brass and bass would come in with a short response to their melody. The next piece performed was Petite Suite

Although there are numerous special education teaching jobs, there aren t enough individuals in the field to fill these positions. Children suffering from mental or physical disabilities often need special learning method and require more time and energy from their instructors. Currently, approximately ten percent of individuals working in this field lack the necessary credentials, and states are authorizing temporary licenses. Teachers with a temporary license are then given a predetermined period of time to complete their license. As the need for teachers in this field is expected to grow by approximately 35 percent over the coming decade, those wishing to become a special education teacher will find they have numerous job opportunities. At this time, universities train approximately 22,000 teachers to work in special education teaching jobs every year. This is only 50 percent of the number needed to fill these positions. Further exacerbating the problem is the departure rate of educators currently working in the field. Studies show that a special education teacher is significantly more likely to leave his or her profession than mainstream educators. This is due in part to a lack of support on the part of school administrators, mounting paperwork, minimal resources and more.
  • 46. Misunderstood Culture In Things Fall Apart By Chinua Achebe Preconceived ideas about one s culture often arises from stereotypes passed down from generation to generation. It is those stereotypes which shape one s way of thinking, without being educated properly. In the novel Things Fall Apart, by Chinua Achebe, misunderstood culture is what drives the story of a small African clan called the Umuofia and the life story of Okonkwo, a fearless warrior and farmer. An in depth look into pre colonial African culture helps the reader discover and understand an unbiased point of view of a world one may not understand. In doing so, Achebe uses imagery as well as strong narration to describe the cultural norms and activities that the Nigerian tribe undergoes in everyday life. Through this he offers a nonbiased point of view, and communicates and accurate picture of pre colonial African culture to a western reader. Achebe uses the tribe s spirituality as a beacon of relation to the western reader. Often times, westerners believe that African culture and spirituality is riddled with mysticism and voodoo, however, Achebe describes it differently through the use of imagery. In this quote, Achebe explains The Feast of the New Yam, and its importance to the Umuofia people. It was an occasion for giving thanks to Ani, the earth goddess and the source of all fertility. Ani played a greater part in the life of people than any other deity. (Achebe 36). To the Umuofia, Ani was their explanation of where their vibrant crops and healthy lives arose

This small step Shug nonchalantly takes in encouraging Mary to sing changes Mary Agnes life forever. This small hint of community given to Mary Agnes highlights how much help so little community can do for one person. Having little training and confidence in her singing ability, Mary Agnes is inspired because of who the reassurance is coming from. Moreover, this lack of address space has been made worse by the progress made towards the ubiquitous network society, in which various types of information equipment, mobile computers and electrical appliances communicate on the internet. IPv6 was developed as a solution to this problem. In this paper I discussed various features provided by IPv6 over IPv4 in terms of improved security, lower administration cost, QoS options, mobility, auto configuration, and peer to peer capability etc. The transition mechanisms in use today are discussed in details. I have conducted a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is important to understand that no matter what technology dominate the market today; tomorrow it will have to be upgraded to fulfil the demand. When IPv4 was developed it was the latest protocol to meet the demand of the time. Since the time has changes so has the demand, the need for change was inevitable. IPv6 introduced the features like increased address space allocation, stateless address configuration etc which have taken the limit of internet protocol to the edge. The reason behind choosing the topic of the evolution of internet protocol is to gain detailed knowledge on IP and its purpose and also discuss the issues related to the transition of IPv4 to IPv6. Besides the need for the transition and the transition mechanisms will be discussed. 3 Scope of the Research To conduct the research I will survey on three leading ISPs from Bangladesh. • 50. Clostridium Difficile Infection ( Cdi ) Is The Most Common... Clostridium difficile infection (CDI) is the most common cause of antibiotic associated diarrhea (AAD). Rapid diagnosis of CDI is essential to prevent hospital spread of infection. The aims were to determine the prevalence of CDI among cases of AAD in Zagazig University Hospitals, identify risk factors, and evaluate real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and enzyme immunoassay (EIA), against toxigenic culture (TC). Stools were collected from 150 patients with AAD. They were tested for TC, toxin A/B EIA, and C. difficile tcdA/tcdB genes. Thirty four toxigenic C. difficile isolates were obtained (22.7%) out of the 150 patients and those patients were considered positive for CDI. On the other hand, 6 non toxigenic C. difficile isolates were obtained (4%), while culture of the remaining 110 patients (73.3%) did not yield C. difficile. The later 116 patients (77.3%) were considered negative for CDI. Analysis of risk factors revealed that advanced age, prolonged hospitalization, long duration of antibiotic intake, potentiated penicillins, 3rd generation cephalosporins, antibiotic combined therapy, liver cirrhosis, malignancy, proton pump inhibitors, enteral tube feeding, and cancer chemotherapy were significantly associated with CDI. Sensitivitiy, specificitiy, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and accuracy of real time PCR against TC were all 100%, however, values of EIA were 79.4%, 100%, 100%, 94.3%, 95.3%, respectively. Conclusion: CDI is an
  • 51. Literary Analysis OfBullet In The Brain, By Tobias Wolff Do not laugh at the man with the gun, you will get a bullet in the brain The short story, Bullet in the brain, by Tobias Wolff, Is told through third person narration, the narrator has unlimited omniscience. The protagonist is Ander s, He is suffering from ennui and alienation. Ander s seems to have distanced himself from others and created his own reality in his head instead of the world around him; causing the world around him to become like a story. Which he despises because of his line of work, a book critic. While doing so he constantly criticizes the world around him as if it is a story and ends up getting killed in the process. Through tone, setting, and style the author, Tobias Wolff, created a wonderful short story that compares to no other. The tone of the story is annoyed, the author, Tobias Wolff, makes the atmosphere while you read seem as if you are disgusted with the other characters in the story. It is as if the tone of the short story is making fun of all the other characters involved. It made the author of this analysis feel like laughing in a condescending manner. The protagonist, Ander s is a book critic in the short story, and it is as he has disconnected from reality, or has created his own in his mind. That the real reality is only a poorly written book that he must criticize as such. While doing so, he plays with death, making fun of the robber for his poor and clichГ© choice of words instead of fearing for his life when the robber has a gun to his head threatening his life. A good example of Ander s mockery is, Anders burst out laughing. He covered his mouth with both hands and said, I m sorry, I m sorry, then snorted helplessly through his fingers and said, Capiche oh, God, capiche, (Wolff, 247) The obvious antagonists in the story is the robbers whom take Ander s life. Really it was only the robber with a sawed off shot gun, the other robber is a flat character and is only used as filler. Having only one line and no description what so ever. The only character in the entire short story that has many lines, and a little back story is Ander s and its only after he is dead that the reader learns anything more about him than that he is a book critic. It was not until he had a
