the surprise of the readers, the Senora gives birth to a set of twins. Upon the arrival
of the twins it is said that most babies begin as twins but one usually kills the other

Have you ever watched a movie that was rated R ? I believe that ratings on movies
and shows should not exist because a movie could be rated R but the content in the
movie is not bad at all, all kids will act differently to what they watch but if there
has to be ratings I think I have a better rating system for all kids and parents to help.
When you watched the movie you either ignored the rating or your parents let you
watchit on your own at home. If they let you watch it, because they already
watched it themselves, then they are on the right track. I m here to tell you why I
think parents should be the ones to tell what their kid watches by actually
watching the movie first so that ratings will not exist at all! When you watch an R
rated movie what s usually in the movie? It s either sexual content, nudity, violence
and/or language. When parents see an R rating they think that it has sexual
content, nudity, violence and language so then they don t let their kid watch it.

that a grade 7 has never heard the F word before from their parents or a school

There are different kinds of power. There is, of course, the power over another
person. A power in superiority, in dominance that makes people afraid. There s
power in acceptance too. Any person who has been welcomed by their peers has
more power than one that has not. In my own life, I struggle with power, and what
kind of power I should want. My need for power likely stems from a fundamental
desire to fit in. Some days the power I crave is simply in acceptance. Acceptance
from peers, friends, or family. On other, less agreeable days, the power I desire is in
superiority, dominance, the power to make people listen to what you have to say. In
the short story Saint Marie by Louise Erdrich, Marie, like me, seeks power.
However, the power she craves is in relation to God and the convent she has been
raised to look up to. At the convent, Marie struggles between wanting acceptance
from the Sisters and desiring superiority over them, especially Leopolda. The first,
acceptance, Marie mentions before joining the convent: I was going up there to
pray as good as they could (1). Marie strives to be as good: as holy as the Sisters.
Once she joins the convent, she hopes to be accepted by them. Superiority, the
second kind of power, she uses as a threat to Leopolda. Marie threatened that she
would get to heaven first, and when Leopolda arrived, she would shut the gate (5).

to my practice setting is the gate control theory. Ronald Melzack was a Canadian
researcher and Patrick David Wall, a British neuroscientist presented this theory in

Melzack s research advisor was conducting a study on dogs that have not been
socially normal. Melzack gained interest in how to dogs responded to painwhen they

number of different ways. It becomes evident from the very beginning of the novel
that Jane is oppressed by her surroundings and the Reed family. She is physically
and psychologically abused and clearly made to feel as she is worth less than the
family who keep her. Despite this there is a comforting undercurrent that flows
through the opening three chapters as the reader realises that Jane Eyreis recalling her
troublesome childhood from a position of fulfilment.
The opening of the novel creates an instantaneous impression of sympathy through

because, as I believe Bronte is implying, it is a sad state of affairs when someone is
trapped within an abusive family because they cannot move to poorer relatives as
