Previous literature has illustrated the effects that either viewing a gendered film or
vanity cues can have on an individual s suggestibility, emotionality, or ideal body
stereotype. However, previous literature has not combined the two variables to
examine what combined effect, if any, may be present. We hypothesize that
participants who experience both vanity cues and a gendered film will report the
highest levels of suggestibility, negative emotionality, and negative ideal body
stereotype that will result in a higher composite body image score than those
participants who experience only vanity cues or a gendered film while participants
who experience neither vanity cues nor gendered film will report the lowest levels.
Participants (N = 80) will be female undergraduate students recruited from a
medium sized Jesuit university in Midwestern America with an age range between

The solid was collected by vacuum filtration. A thin layer chromatographywas run on
the crude solid, the recrystallized solid and the filtrate from the recrystallization.

Wild Oats Analysis
Recently, I had the pleasure of being a part of Roosevelt School of the Art s
production of Wild Oats. Wild Oats is a western melodrama about love, familial
pressure, and misidentification. I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this production
despite some small obstacles. The Promenade staging, costumes, lighting, and sound
came together to create a promising, but slightly faulted piece of theatre. First off, the
unique three quarter thrust promenade staging is not something you typically see.
There were aspects of the staging that were absolutely delightful, and aspects which
hindered the performance. The promenade staging has the audiencesit on the stage on
platforms and have to move as the actors try to act around them. This setup
allowed for high levels of audience engagement and hilarious moments; meanwhile
the actors were forced to improvise their way through situations. My initial
response to this setup was extremely positive and I couldn t wait to get onstage and
mess with the audience. However, once we were actually performing the show,
there were many complications that came with this style of seating. The audience
generally preferred to sit in the house and only on a few occasions do I feel that
the promenade staging was used to it s fullest potential. The audience likely
preferred the house seating because of the comfort of having back support, not
having to give up your seat every 5 minutes, and the ability to see what is happening
at all times. If you sat on the stage, there were many moments with serious sightline
issues and I could imagine that this frustrated some people. These problems did not
over power the positive responses of the audience to seeing action happen right in
front of your eyes. Secondly, the costumes in Wild Oats were all in all phenomenal.
The show takes place in the old wild west and the costumes reflected that time period,
but everyone had something unique and interesting about their costume. The
ensemble, despite their generally small roles in the show, were given immeasurable
amounts of life and depth through what they wore. The character played by Sophie
Venezuela had a wonderfully put together costume that showed her high status as a
character. She had elegant,

information influences market participation by smallholder farmers. However, ...
Agricultural production entails investment of resources and farmers will have no
incentive for making investments in areas where there is little opportunity for
marketing their products or if the returns accruing from the sales of agricultural
products do not reflect the opportunity cost of investment. As a result, most farmers
in areas with few marketing opportunities are engaged primarily in subsistence
agriculture, which has constrained improvement in their quality of life [3]. The
problem of market access is linked to the inability of farmers to meet market
standards, low volumes of produce, wide dispersion of producers, presence of
middlemen and perceived low prices in the formal market [1 7]. Therefore,
development policies in Ghana have focused on the modernization and
commercialization of the agricultural sector in addressing the major agricultural
production and marketing challenges.

Jem Atticus Finch is the perfect example of a dynamic character in Harper Lee s

plot with few bumps, fun characters with thick accents, and a beautiful set with some

Everything looked like what you would expect of the late 1800 s. Horse drawn
carriages, suspenders, paved streets, it all really added to the movie and helped the
story along instead of getting in the way. Something that I think genuinely worked
in their favor was the contrast between the wealthy and the poor. Take David s
family for example, a family of five living in what looks to be a studio apartment,
maybe a one bedroom and contrast that with Joseph Pulitzer s office at the top of a
tall, domed building finished off with a gold coat. Also, the music used in the
background was nice to help create suspense, I specifically liked how in spots
during the second half you could hear pieces of Santa Fe float around. Along with
