care settings. This study will focus on an experimental approach using convenient sampling and
random selection of nurses to compare whether or not an educational intervention including
independent double checks before high alert medication administration will decrease the amount of
errors made by nurses in an acute care settings when administering these medication.
Defining Key Terms In order to clearly communicate about these issues, definitions for key terms
are included below. Medication error consists of administering medications outside of they dosing
parameters; including wrong dose, wrong route, wrong time, wrong patient, wrong medication etc.
According to the Institute for Safe Medication Practices ( 2015) an independent double
check(IDC) is a process in which a second practitioner conducts a verification (par.5). Independent
double checks are a method used to improve the safety of medication administration. Some
medications have higher risks of harm for the patient if given in error. High Alert

Many teachers using the IWB s do not change the method in which they use the board. So if the
assignments seem repetitive, students lose interest.

would you be scared shitless? My assumption would be the second one. With that being said, why
is our society so attracted to these aspects of crimeportrayed in entertainment but we would do
everything to avoid it all cost in real life? Does America s love for crime, whether on the
television or in the movies, secretly revel our own desires to live the dangerous and exciting lives
of the criminals, policeofficers, and FBI agents we marvel at every night? As humans we aren t all
sociopaths but watching other people rolling the dice with their lives is fascinating, and somewhat
rewarding.

This Film Is Not Yet Rated brings up many issues against Motion Pictures Association of
America s rating system. I am in favor of the issues brought up in this film as it seems that some
ratings that the MPAA s rating board give out do not always follow a concrete rule. For example,
movies that contained scenes with homosexuals having sex with each other received an NC 17
rating, compared to other movies that have similar scenes, but with heterosexuals instead received
an R rating. In the end, it is still two people having sex with each other and should not really be
differentiated by their sex or gender.
The individual rating types are also not a good portrayal of the movie as a whole. Bully was a
