IHOPAtlanta
Thursday afternoon, April 6th at 12:00, I attended International House of Prayer Atlanta (IHOP)
located in Lawrenceville, Ga. There are three key components to the IHOP Atlanta Missions Base: 1)
Prayer 2) Mission and 3) Community. IHOP Atlanta has a very contemporary worship space. Hence,
the devotional prayer room, which in most churches would be considered their sanctuary, is the
centerpiece of all that they do. Per the signage that is placed at the entrance of the prayer room, group
prayer at IHOP Atlanta is facilitated by way of their corporate intercession sets which is offered 24
hours a day, 7 days a week. IHOP Atlanta believes this worship space of prayer ascends from one s
hearts to the throne of God. As I entered the space, I noticed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The music was indeed freeing, revitalizing, and refreshing. It evoked powerful emotions which is hard
to express. There is no language I may write that will effectively communicate how liberating the
music made me feel. But, if I had to try, I must say I was mostly impressed how the music became the
conduit where I could experience God s peace and presence. My body, mind and soul connection to
the music encoded a deep anointing on my spirit. The music involved a combined shift of body
jerking pulses with rise and fall intensity. Which created an emotional roller coaster for me. One
minute my body was twisting and jerking to earsplitting rock roll and the next minute I was immersed
in a near trance inducing atmosphere in which the music toned down to a more mystical sensation that
moved me to tears.
The Weakness of this Contemporary Worship I believe my biggest critique with this style of worship
is that I question if music is enough. Does music make true transformation in the way worship shapes
our affections, values, perceptions and beliefs? Sure, good music add to the experience of worship and
it may enhance someone s spiritual walk. But, does it build a true sustaining relationship with God or
with the people of God? Thus, it is my belief that music only functions as background, mostly on the
surface and not real

Happy Gilmore Character Analysis
Happy Gilmore is a comedic 90 s movie about the transition from an ineffective hockey player to a
talented golfer. This is a 1996 film, Adam Sandler, who portrays Happy Gilmore faces few obstacles
when learning how to play golf. The reason why he joins a golf tournament was that he needed the
money to save his grandmother s house. His grandmother has not pay taxes for past 10 years so she
owed $270,00 otherwise her home would be lost. Happy Gilmore is a naïve and absurd character that
struggles with anger issues but later learns how to deal with it through dumb childish humor.
Throughout the golf tournament, he has a nemesis, Shooter Mcgavin, who is arrogant that gets jealous
at Happy Gilmore for his hidden talent at golf. Although Gilmore has serious anger issues, his
patience and dedication teach the audience that one s passion is not always something one is good at.
One of the eye catching concepts that are hard to miss is Happy s aggression in sports. He is either
yelling, cursing, fighting or attacking someone throughout this film. At the beginning of the film when
he was trying out for the hockey team, there is a scene where he loses his temper. He didn t make the
team so he attacked the coach for being cut. Then there is the scene when he is mad at his girlfriend so
he yells at her but then changes to innocent sad boyfriend voice and just kept switching off between
those two personas. This was very interesting to watch because he was two different characters since

Apple Earnings Surge 33 % On Iphone Sales
I will be reviewing how the articles Apple Earnings Surge 33% on iPhone Sales, Makers of Baby
Formula Press Their Case on WIC Program, and Tokyo Disney Report Reigns as World s Least
Expensive Disneyland relate back to our course topics pricing decisions, customer profitability, and
cost management. First, I will a give a short summary of the article, and then I will discuss how the
article relates back to our course.
Daisuke Wakabayashi s article on Apple s market share growth and increase in gross margin brought
to light. Wakabayashi is surprised by Apple s ability to gain market shares while still charging higher
prices than their competitors. Apple claims the success is to due to their latest products (iPhone 6)
luring customers away from the rivals at this latest phone release cycle, more than the normal change
over. In response to the increased revenues, Apple has increased dividend payouts to 11%. In addition,
Apple s share repurchase program increased by $50billion. Even through this massive buy back
program and dividend payouts, Apple s cash pile continues to grow. China is playing a huge part in the
unheard of growth. With more citizens moving up in the social economic ladder, purchases during the
Lunar New Year (a time with a general increased spending) have increased exponential. However, not
all is good overseas for Apple s revenues growth. The dollar is currently stronger than other currency
and has resulted in a 6 point decrease in revenues. Apple

Hanukkah Ads
Secondly the colors in the advertisement are red and creamish white drawing parallel to the logo
which consists of the same color. Here again, the Jewish holiday Hanukkah colors of blue and silver
are not represented making the Jewish reader feel excluded and alienated especially since the text
refers to their holiday. Jewish readers will infer the message as Christmas being superior to Hanukkah.
Non Jewish readers on the other hand will find the advertisement pleasing to the eye and festive as red
has grown to be a symbol of holiday cheer and even considered auspicious and cheerful in the Hindu
religion. Non Jewish readers will view this as a smart strategy on behalf of the spirits manufacturer
since they cleverly used the same color scheme ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

interpret this as being thoughtful, or even humorous although perhaps due to the lack of their

very offensive and disrespectful because it uses religious symbols in a humorous and humiliating way.
Ironically, the advertisement s creative head was Brian Gorden who himself is Jewish. Although this
type of shock advertising may have been profitable for the spirits manufacturer they may have

Teen Stereotypes
In the United States teenage pregnancy outside of marriage is labeled as a social problem. Society
views young, poor, single teenage mothers as an liability and not an asset. Teenage mothers are
stereotyped as (a) welfare dependent (b) irresponsible (c) lazy (d) ignorant and (e) promiscuous.
However, the majority of society believes that their taxes were higher because of government benefits
that teenage mothers and their babies receive. The negative stereotype regarding teenage pregnancy in
society can be very damaging and discouraging to a young mother who simply made a mistake but
still have dreams and goals in which she plans to obtain through continuing her education and
obtaining a good job to support her as well as her child. But, with the negativity it can hinder her
progress, resilience, and well being. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The Importance Of Voting In Canada
Voting in Canada is more important now than ever. At the last federal election on October 19th 2015,
there was an overall voter turnout of 68.3%. This was the highest voter turnout Canada had seen at a
federal election in two decades. Out of 35,85 million people in Canada, 3,6 million people casted their
ballots. However, with the overall increase of people that showed up to this election, the number of
young people, especially those aged 18 24 that attended, was at an all time low. This has created a
great deal of concern for when these people get to be older and more younger people will be eligible
to vote, if there will be anybody in Canada who are still voting with interest and not just abstaining to.
It s important that the most amount of people in Canada vote as possible so that our government is
solely represented by people who Canadians agree with their political statements and beliefs. There s
no point in the country being run by people and parties who Canadians don t agree with because their
main job as representants of the country is to voice the beliefs and concerns of those Canadians. It s
important for Canadians to be encouraged to vote young because it is the first years of being legal age
to vote that are uninterested in doing so.
When I first thought about being able to vote I assumed that I would never participate. Politics and
who run my country was never something I was, or thought I would be interested in. I didn t
understand why people were so

Title
There are a few symbols that serve a purpose throughout the novel. The novel is opened with Bigger
attempting to kill a rat that has entered his family s apartment. First, the rat allows the audience to see
the conditions the Thomas family lives in, which is crowded. Secondly, the rat symbolizes Bigger s
fear and anger towards his life. He tries to kill and get rid of the rat, just as he tries to suppress his
fears. Thirdly, Bigger, much like the rat is concerned and powerless. Bigger is powerless and forced to
take the job at the Dalton home. He is angry that he did not have any other alternative but the job as a
chauffeur. Bigger has now taken the responsibility of providing for his family, a responsibility he did
not want to partake in (Demiturk 1). Finally, the rat symbolizes the first death in the novel, and
essentially prepares the audience for the later killings (Tremaine 5). Another symbol is Bigger as a
Christ figure. Subsequently, Bigger is crucified by the white society while reaching a sense of
liberation (Butler, tone 4). Bigger feels relieved and experiences a feeling he had never felt before. He
felt as if he has found a purpose. Finally, one of the major symbols is blindness. The Daltons are blind
to their own motives, and only driven by guilt (Butler, tone 5). Mr. Dalton is blind in regards to the
financial and social frameworks in which he takes an interest. He has acquired his wealth not by
exhibiting great character, but rather abusing

How Does Truck Financing Affect Interest Rates
Truck Finance: What Factors Affects Interest Rates
The best truck financing eventually means that you have to pay low interest rates and low monthly
payments. Trucking businesses that do not ensure that they obtain the best deal on their loans could
face difficulties in generating profits if the majority of their revenue has to spent on loan repayment.
The optimum way to avoid this phenomenon is to develop a concrete plan before availing truck
financing.
Truck owners personal credit is equally important as their business credit to future lenders. Careful
and thorough planning effectively means that these business owners will require receiving their
personal credit reports and business credit reports to ensure that there are no goof ups on them that
may contribute to lowering their credit scores. If such mistakes appear on credit reports, business
owners can have them eliminated before a lender checks these reports. It is vital that ... Show more

Truck financing that is eventually requesting the truck s full purchase price puts the lender at 100% of
the risk. When truck owners agree to take a substantial amount of the risk from the eventual lender,
the latter rewards these clients with lower interest rates. Loans obtained at low rates of interests do not
take too long to pay off, and they allow truck owners to obtain a profit sooner in comparison with
paying high interest payments.
When truck owners are in the process of buying trucks, they can take the opportunity to effectively
become pre qualified for their truck financing. When they successfully do this, they ultimately know
what interest rates lenders would be offering as well as the terms that they may be able to obtain.
When they decide to purchase trucks with this knowledge, they can quickly compare their pre
qualified deals to the ones that the financing company are

The Importance Of Financial Economics
From the sources of income, it can be seen that expenses eat up 70% of total earning with savings
trailing at 30%. Since expenses are tracked by budget, mechanical and unplanned purchases are
eliminated. This means other than on the predetermined expenditure; no money is left for unplanned
events. A particular concern is however focused on the composition of items that form the expenses.
High level prioritizing is Key in achieving spending rationality that will result in financial success. As
such, it is paramount to channel most of the expenditure on items that are deemed primary in life.

With this, my build up finances will be high, thanks to the upward trajectory in savings.
Transportation is an expense on my part. In the financial world, the goal is to make as maximum
benefits as one can while keeping low the costs encompassed in the process. The recommended
percentage rate for transportation expense is capped at 10% as the minimum. Having kept this expense
low, it came at 2.8% lower. At a keener look, one can be able to tell that this cost cut may have been in
part responsible for the increased savings above! Excellent, is it not? Recreation is good and helps one

came within range of the recommended percentage, it sailed closer to the ceiling of 10%, coming short

The two sides in this war was England and France. It was started due to who should be the rightful
successor of the throne for France, The two candidates where Edward III from england and Philip VI
of France. This was significant because if Edward III got the throne France would belong to England.
Due to the issue of power it led to the battles to come such as; The Battle of Crecy in 1346 and The

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. Everyone may or may not agree with abortion. Abortion
has been ongoing for many centuries and throughout many different cultures. In 1803 Great Britain
passed the first laws for anti abortion. By 1880 abortions were mostly illegal in the United States
unless it was to save the mother s life. Present day abortion is perfectly legal. Before woman could
pay for skilled, licensed doctors for an abortion they would go to other countries or to back alleys to

The Effects Of Alcoholism On The Individual Health
When talking about alcoholism, we have to take into consideration all of the effects that the alcohol
use and misuse have, not only on the individual and its family but on the whole society as well. More
or less people drink because they want to socialize and some people drink because they think that with
the alcohol they will recover a solution or make their problems easier. Alcohol can have big
implications on the individual health. The individual that is an alcoholic or that has alcohol related
problems can be more prone to different diseases. If the alcohol is used constantly for a long period of
time it can harm not only the physical but the mental health as well. The individual using alcohol can
become aggressive and violent towards the family. The household may also suffer not just physical but
a mental abuse as well. The individual with an alcohol related problem may start being absent from
work more frequently, having a lack of productivity, be more easily annoyed and begin arguing with
coworkers or superiors. This may lead to losing the occupation and create even bigger troubles with
the family, friends, and the vicinity. From this being said, there is a big burden on the society as well.

and so many other problems that the society has to deal with. Every society, country, nation is

I chose to do my analysis on the film ¨IT¨ directed by Andrés Muschietti. It was released September 8,
2017. The movie runs about 2 hours and 15 minutes. The genre is a drama/thriller film. Some parts
were added in during the editing process to make the clown ¨Pennywise¨ look more realistic. The main
theme is overcoming your fears. Seven kids all have fears and have to overcome it in order to save
their own lives. There are also many smaller themes that I personally noticed such as, growing older.
All seven kids were very young and naive when the movie first started, but once life hit them in the
face, they all seemed to grow super fast. Also, another huge theme would be teamwork. As kids, we

The Five Competitive Forces That Shape Strategy
Central Theme In the article, The Five Competitive Forces that Shape Strategy, Michael Porter argues
that the five forces are an important element for managers and investors in the business industry.
Porter stated that it is important to understand the competitive forces, and their underlying causes
which many companies will use to determine if they will gain profit or not (Porter 80). Companies
determine their profitability of the industry through the level of the force that they face. For instance,
when the forces are favorable, most companies will be profitable. Porter gives a detail description of
the five forces and explains the importance of each force. The five forces are the threats of new
entrants, the power of the buyers, the power of the suppliers, the threats of substitute for products or
services, and the rivalry among existing competitors. Porter believes that a company strategist who
understands the competition extends well beyond existing rivals will detect wider competitive threats
and be better equipped to address them (Porter 93). In other words, when strategists understand the
different forces it will benefit them to make better decisions and to be ready to face the different
challenges between competitors. In the article, Porter s main goal is to present the importance of the
five forces to the audience.
Critical Analysis There are many strengths and weaknesses in this article. One of the major strengths
is that Porter organize his arguments in

Paul Tarsus Letter
Introduction:
What are the origins of the Early Church and how do these impact on us as Christians in a
community? Paul the Apostle, originally known as Saul of Tarsus, was an apostle who travelled the
world teaching the gospel of Christ to the first century world. He is generally considered one of the
most important figures of the Apostolic Age. In this speech I will inform you about Paul s early life,
Pauls Journeys and his letters.
The World behind the Text:
The purpose of Pauls Letters were to keep in contact with the churches and to resolve any problems or
questions they had. Paul mainly wrote to communicate with distant churches, to encourage, to
persuade, to inform and to respond to events that he had heard about. Paul s writings formulated key
teachings about the nature of the Church. He taught about how Christ lived in them and by their
baptism and the Holy Spirit they were able to contribute to the Christian community. Paul mainly
wrote about the issues in society and how to help the churches when they were in need. Paul didn t
believe that the Gentiles need to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is no longer
Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are
one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham s offspring, heirs according to
the promise.
The closing verse reaffirms this: Abraham s offspring, Heirs according to the promise. Therefore,
being Christ s they are also children of Abraham, because being Christ s has removed all other
differences. Paul was making the point that it is not circumcision that brings the Gentiles to Christ but

Types of Learning
In a sense human beings can actually be programmed to react a certain way, we call this learning. In
actuality we learn by experiencing certain events which brings forth a permanent behavior. Our
learned behaviors may come from nature or nurture. Furthermore we have to keep in mind that not all
types of changes in behaviors are due to learning. As previously mentioned, nature contributes to
behavior. We are raised to learn as soon as we were babies it starts with the simply and then evolves
into more complex processes such as observational, classical and operant learning.
Observational learning is observing behaviors from a model and then making them your own by

By observing and imitating the behaviors of the wild animals he became a wild animal himself. Tarzan
is a prime example of observational learning (Buck, 1999).
Classical conditioning is described as learning by association. Where responses are learned by
experiences, whenever an unconditioned stimuli, is paired with a neutral stimuli, to elicit an
unconditioned response. Which soon after, evolves into a conditioned stimuli and a conditioned
response. In short we learn to mesh together two stimuli, and anticipate a matching reaction. The
Disney movie Peter Pan, helps us grasp a better understanding of this concept. Although the movie
doesn t go into great detail about how Captain Hook lost his hand, we know that a crocodile bit it off,
it does give us some room to assume the events of this story. Every time Captain Hook hears a clock
or sees a crocodile he becomes panic stricken. When he sees or hears either of those two things, he
thinks a crocodile is going to eat him, which makes him go into a frenzy. Imagine we are present at the
incident where captain hook lost his hand. Based on his behavior, we can assume that a clock was
present when the crocodile bit off his hand. At that time, the clock was a neutral stimulus, since a
clock normally wouldn t elicit a panic attack. The crocodile was a unconditioned stimuli, since during
the incident it caused the unconditioned response of fear and pain to Captain Hook, since the crocodile

Narrative Techniques in Dan Brown’s the Da Vinci Code Essay
Dan Brown s The Da Vinci Code is one of the most successful and controversial novels of our time.
Other authors have jumped on the bandwagon writing novels on Christian topics or treasure hunts or
simply discussing The Da Vinci Code. Even the film industry has profited by using Brown s strategies
(and topics) in the successful movie National Treasure and by taking advantage of the Grail publicity
in TV productions like The Blood of the (Knights) Templar. But which strategies does Brown use to
make the reader enjoy reading The Da Vinci Code? In my essay, I would like to focus on his use of
narrative techniques.
The Da Vinci Code is told by a restricted third person narrator. He tells the story from various points
of view without ever ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I ve never heard of it.
Sure you have. [ . . . ] You re just used to hearing it called by the name Holy Grail .
The reader is as surprised as Sophie Neveu is and wants to know how everything fits together and
reads on. In a way, this is also a key or turning point of the novel, because from that moment the
reader is told bit by bit about the Holy Grail. This storytelling comes to a climax when Grail historian
Leigh Teabing enters the scene, claiming that the Holy Grail is a person, more exactly Mary
Magdalene and her descendants.
Dan Brown also uses stream of consciousness technique in order to enable the reader to follow the
protagonists trains of thought while breaking the codes. If Brown did not use this technique, he would
only present the result of the characters thoughts. This would be boring for the reader, because he
could not become involved in solving the riddles himself.
The stream of consciousness technique includes flashbacks. These are important for the development
of the plot as well. On the one hand they help the reader to get to know the characters; on the other
hand they give hints regarding the decoding of Saunière s messages, since all flashbacks are connected
to the Grail quest in one or the other way.
In conclusion, the novel does not only attract the reader with

What Is The Theme Of The Wedding Cake Short Story
Food. This is how Tita Dela Garza, the main character of both the film and story used to express her
feelings. Being born literally in the kitchen, Tita has a strong connection with food. In addition to that,
she also grew up in the kitchen because Nacha, the one who took care of her as a child, is obliged to
do the cooking. As said in the movie, Amidst the smell of chicken soup, thyme, bay laurel, steamed
milk, garlic and, of course, onion. Due to this strong connection with food, it played a very important
part in her life that it had affected herself and the people around her in severe instances. Although it

In addition, only one effect in Tita s food was mentioned in the short story, during the wedding of
Pedro, the love of her life and Rosaura, her sister. While she and Nacha were preparing the cake, she
can t help but feel lonely, frustrated, and heartbroken causing a few tears to fall in the mixture. As she
went to rest, Nacha tasted the batter and suddenly felt an intense longing for her fiancé, which caused
her death. Moreover, everyone who ate the cake at the wedding felt the exact same way. Some even
went nauseous because of the extreme feeling due to eating the cake. This scene is also portrayed in
the movie, making it easier to understand and visualize. Although only one food as medium to transfer
emotion scene can be read in the short story, in the film, several instanced were shown wherein people
who ate Tita s dish felt this weird feeling by her cooking. In one scene in the movie, this time, they felt
a sort of lust and intense heat in them, for she has felt that same way while she cooked it. This intense
heat was exaggerated in the movie wherein due to the severe body heat that her sister experienced due
to eating the cake, the place where she took a bath literally went on

the investigation of whole type multicultural as well as individual preferences, and the dynamics of
interaction of individuals and their culture (Butcher amp; Rouse, 1996). The MBTI is an important
tool in investigating health, stress, and coping variables, and in using knowledge thus gained to tailor

Comparing A Dystopian Society In Fahrenheit 451 And Night
In two stories from different decades have one similarity in common. They both are stories that show
and take place within a dystopian society. The book Fahrenheit 451 is the story of a firefighter that
lives in a dystopian society that does not allow books to read for a source of media. Along with the
book Night, a teenage boy named Elie who lived through the Holocaust. Even though that the
Holocaust was an actual event in our world s history, it is still considered a dystopian society. Despite
the thoughts of many individuals within these dystopian societies, the governments try to take over
and control these persons thoughts on the way society works. The two books Fahrenheit 451 and
Night are similar in many ways, because of the fact that both governments try to control the way the
people within them live.
The first similarity is the rules and regulations that these people are living with. In Fahrenheit 451
there were rules that any person who had any type of book in their possession were to be imprisoned
or even killed in some circumstances. These rules were to protect the government from being
overthrown by the fantasies that these books create and give some type of a better life for the people.
Night was a story about a Holocaust survivor. Elie and his father had been brighten to a concentration
camp where they had lived under a harsh environment. The Nazi government had created strict rules
that the ss officers had to enforce. Some of these rules were to treat the

Essay about Good Country People
Good Country People Woman, Do You Ever Look Inside?
There are many themes within Flannery O Connor s short story Good Country People . Religion is
definitely one of the more prominent themes that the story holds. Like most of O Connor s works, it
plays a big part in the actions or characteristics of the main characters. This is all on the surface
however. The more important and less accentuated theme is the various facades the characters create
for themselves. These facades prevent them from facing their true grotesque selves. These facades also
hide their weaknesses that they have no wish to face ort just can t understand. People must be
comfortable with every aspect of themselves, because certain people, who in this story ... Show more

The quote acts as foreshadowing for what her attitude towards life will be. We later find out that she is
right, but that she does not live by her credo. Manley Pointer exploits this weakness as soon as she
opened her door. Showing up as a pathetic bible salesman with an ailing heart (which is coincidentally
exactly what Joy Hulga had) laying the old guilt trip on Mrs. Hopewell on how no one wants to deal
with a simple country boy like himself, he attacks her weakness right at the heart of it. Not more than
two minutes after he knocked on the door, he ends up eating dinner with them and at the conclusion is
even invited to return any time he d like. His persona blinds Mrs. Hopewell and prevents her from
being somewhat suspicious of Manley. At the end of the story, we see that Mrs. Hopewell is still
clouded by her weakness and refers to Manly as simple as he passes through a field by Mrs. Hopewell

Joy Hulga, who had grown cynical and cold as she grew up with only one leg and heart ailment,
creates an image that she is smarter and better than the rest of the characters in the story. Her
education and self absorption seemed to instill this attitude in her to greater extent than if she hadn t

Childhood Apraxia Of Speech Analysis
Childhood apraxia of speech demonstrates a broad range of specific speech characteristics. A variety
of diagnostic descriptions entail characteristic symptoms throughout the stages of development.
According to ASHA, the origin and clinical traits of CAS continues, although many researchers and
clinicians are in agreement that it s a motor speech disorder. The most important characteristics are the
inconsistency of mistakes on consonants and vowels that are replicated in the production of words and
syllables. Another fundamental aspect of CAS is the disruption of co articulatory transitions. During
coarticulation, the speech of children with CAS is discovered to be sturdier and more prolonged than
of a typically developing child (Nijland et al., 2002, 2003). The disorder of CAS shows to be defined
by its speech characteristics, but it also demonstrates impairments associated with other linguistics and
non verbal functions. There has been few research found pertaining to neuropsychological behaviors,
studies have emphasized more of motor behavior, memory and sensory processing traits. ... Show

Within CAS, behavioral symptoms are most consistent and include elevated consonant and vowel
errors, inconsistency in the mistakes, problems with sequencing speech units and prosody. Though,
children with CAS demonstrate to have language impairment with other characteristics of
developmental speech. Research has proven that there are different types of speech and language
disorders collectively related to a family member of children identified with CAS (Lewis et al., 2004,
2006). Lewis also indicates that there is a similar pattern occurring for speech disordered children

science and many fields of applied mathematics. We first introduce the concept of matrices, their
determinants. Then, there will be algebra of matrices such as addition, multiplication and finding
inverses. Next, we see some application of matrix algebra with some real world problems. Finally, we
move to linear transformation of vectors, and then calculation of eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the
matrices.
There will be four class tests after completing each of the three sections and a combine test for
sequence and series and power series. Eventually, when we re done with all five chapters, we ll get to
the final exam and, if you make it to the end, you will be done. It is by no means an easy path to get to
the end of this course; it is a difficult subject and is only learned by means of hard work. You are
going to have to work hard and persevere to get to the end. But I am confident that together, we can
make it.

and Edmund R. Noonan, Chair of the Auditing Standards Board (AICPA, 1996a). The conference

Mary Did You Know A Christmas Carol Lyrics Analysis
We all love Christmas. There is so many good parts to it: the decorations and colors, the delicious
food, and being with our loving, caring families. However, the very best part is that we get to celebrate
Christ s birth and listen or sing carols that reflect Him. Mary Did You Know, a christmas carol, shows
what Jesus did during His life.
This song has background, scripture, and definitions some may not understand. Buddy Greene and
Mark Lowry came together to write this carol. Mark Lowry is a Christian songwriter, comedian, and
singer. Buddy Greene is also a songwriter and singer. They included scripture in this song, but instead
of verses, they used only words. For example, the words in the third verse, Lord of all Creation and
the Great I Am are mentioned in the bible. One thing confusing in this song is when it uses the word
delivered as a homonym. This word means to give birth or to rescue, which both definitions are used
in the same verse; This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you... This meaningful Christmas

  • 2. IHOPAtlanta Thursday afternoon, April 6th at 12:00, I attended International House of Prayer Atlanta (IHOP) located in Lawrenceville, Ga. There are three key components to the IHOP Atlanta Missions Base: 1) Prayer 2) Mission and 3) Community. IHOP Atlanta has a very contemporary worship space. Hence, the devotional prayer room, which in most churches would be considered their sanctuary, is the centerpiece of all that they do. Per the signage that is placed at the entrance of the prayer room, group prayer at IHOP Atlanta is facilitated by way of their corporate intercession sets which is offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. IHOP Atlanta believes this worship space of prayer ascends from one s hearts to the throne of God. As I entered the space, I noticed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The music was indeed freeing, revitalizing, and refreshing. It evoked powerful emotions which is hard to express. There is no language I may write that will effectively communicate how liberating the music made me feel. But, if I had to try, I must say I was mostly impressed how the music became the conduit where I could experience God s peace and presence. My body, mind and soul connection to the music encoded a deep anointing on my spirit. The music involved a combined shift of body jerking pulses with rise and fall intensity. Which created an emotional roller coaster for me. One minute my body was twisting and jerking to earsplitting rock roll and the next minute I was immersed in a near trance inducing atmosphere in which the music toned down to a more mystical sensation that moved me to tears. The Weakness of this Contemporary Worship I believe my biggest critique with this style of worship is that I question if music is enough. Does music make true transformation in the way worship shapes our affections, values, perceptions and beliefs? Sure, good music add to the experience of worship and it may enhance someone s spiritual walk. But, does it build a true sustaining relationship with God or with the people of God? Thus, it is my belief that music only functions as background, mostly on the surface and not real ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Happy Gilmore Character Analysis Happy Gilmore is a comedic 90 s movie about the transition from an ineffective hockey player to a talented golfer. This is a 1996 film, Adam Sandler, who portrays Happy Gilmore faces few obstacles when learning how to play golf. The reason why he joins a golf tournament was that he needed the money to save his grandmother s house. His grandmother has not pay taxes for past 10 years so she owed $270,00 otherwise her home would be lost. Happy Gilmore is a naïve and absurd character that struggles with anger issues but later learns how to deal with it through dumb childish humor. Throughout the golf tournament, he has a nemesis, Shooter Mcgavin, who is arrogant that gets jealous at Happy Gilmore for his hidden talent at golf. Although Gilmore has serious anger issues, his patience and dedication teach the audience that one s passion is not always something one is good at. One of the eye catching concepts that are hard to miss is Happy s aggression in sports. He is either yelling, cursing, fighting or attacking someone throughout this film. At the beginning of the film when he was trying out for the hockey team, there is a scene where he loses his temper. He didn t make the team so he attacked the coach for being cut. Then there is the scene when he is mad at his girlfriend so he yells at her but then changes to innocent sad boyfriend voice and just kept switching off between those two personas. This was very interesting to watch because he was two different characters since ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

First, I will a give a short summary of the article, and then I will discuss how the article relates back to our course. Daisuke Wakabayashi s article on Apple s market share growth and increase in gross margin brought to light. Wakabayashi is surprised by Apple s ability to gain market shares while still charging higher prices than their competitors. Apple claims the success is to due to their latest products (iPhone 6) luring customers away from the rivals at this latest phone release cycle, more than the normal change over. In response to the increased revenues, Apple has increased dividend payouts to 11%. In addition, Apple s share repurchase program increased by $50billion. Even through this massive buy back program and dividend payouts, Apple s cash pile continues to grow. China is playing a huge part in the unheard of growth. With more citizens moving up in the social economic ladder, purchases during the Lunar New Year (a time with a general increased spending) have increased exponential. However, not all is good overseas for Apple s revenues growth. The dollar is currently stronger than other currency and has resulted in a 6 point decrease in revenues. Apple ... Here again, the Jewish holiday Hanukkah colors of blue and silver are not represented making the Jewish reader feel excluded and alienated especially since the text refers to their holiday. Jewish readers will infer the message as Christmas being superior to Hanukkah. Non Jewish readers on the other hand will find the advertisement pleasing to the eye and festive as red has grown to be a symbol of holiday cheer and even considered auspicious and cheerful in the Hindu religion. Non Jewish readers will view this as a smart strategy on behalf of the spirits manufacturer since they cleverly used the same color scheme ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Ironically, the advertisement s creative head was Brian Gorden who himself is Jewish. • 7. Teen Stereotypes In the United States teenage pregnancy outside of marriage is labeled as a social problem. Society views young, poor, single teenage mothers as an liability and not an asset. Teenage mothers are stereotyped as (a) welfare dependent (b) irresponsible (c) lazy (d) ignorant and (e) promiscuous. However, the majority of society believes that their taxes were higher because of government benefits that teenage mothers and their babies receive. The negative stereotype regarding teenage pregnancy in society can be very damaging and discouraging to a young mother who simply made a mistake but still have dreams and goals in which she plans to obtain through continuing her education and obtaining a good job to support her as well as her child. • 8. The Importance Of Voting In Canada Voting in Canada is more important now than ever. At the last federal election on October 19th 2015, there was an overall voter turnout of 68.3%. This was the highest voter turnout Canada had seen at a federal election in two decades. Out of 35,85 million people in Canada, 3,6 million people casted their ballots. However, with the overall increase of people that showed up to this election, the number of young people, especially those aged 18 24 that attended, was at an all time low. This has created a great deal of concern for when these people get to be older and more younger people will be eligible to vote, if there will be anybody in Canada who are still voting with interest and not just abstaining to. It s important that the most amount of people in Canada vote as possible so that our government is solely represented by people who Canadians agree with their political statements and beliefs. There s no point in the country being run by people and parties who Canadians don t agree with because their main job as representants of the country is to voice the beliefs and concerns of those Canadians. It s important for Canadians to be encouraged to vote young because it is the first years of being legal age to vote that are uninterested in doing so. When I first thought about being able to vote I assumed that I would never participate. Politics and who run my country was never something I was, or thought I would be interested in. • 9. In Cold Blood Quotes And Analysis Title There are a few symbols that serve a purpose throughout the novel. The novel is opened with Bigger attempting to kill a rat that has entered his family s apartment. First, the rat allows the audience to see the conditions the Thomas family lives in, which is crowded. Secondly, the rat symbolizes Bigger s fear and anger towards his life. He tries to kill and get rid of the rat, just as he tries to suppress his fears. Thirdly, Bigger, much like the rat is concerned and powerless. Bigger is powerless and forced to take the job at the Dalton home. He is angry that he did not have any other alternative but the job as a chauffeur. Bigger has now taken the responsibility of providing for his family, a responsibility he did not want to partake in (Demiturk 1). Finally, the rat symbolizes the first death in the novel, and essentially prepares the audience for the later killings (Tremaine 5). Another symbol is Bigger as a Christ figure. Subsequently, Bigger is crucified by the white society while reaching a sense of liberation (Butler, tone 4). Bigger feels relieved and experiences a feeling he had never felt before. He felt as if he has found a purpose. Finally, one of the major symbols is blindness. The Daltons are blind to their own motives, and only driven by guilt (Butler, tone 5). Mr. Dalton is blind in regards to the financial and social frameworks in which he takes an interest. He has acquired his wealth not by exhibiting great character, but rather abusing ... The genre is a drama/thriller film. Some parts were added in during the editing process to make the clown ¨Pennywise¨ look more realistic. The main theme is overcoming your fears. Seven kids all have fears and have to overcome it in order to save their own lives. There are also many smaller themes that I personally noticed such as, growing older. All seven kids were very young and naive when the movie first started, but once life hit them in the face, they all seemed to grow super fast. Also, another huge theme would be teamwork. The Five Competitive Forces That Shape Strategy Central Theme In the article, The Five Competitive Forces that Shape Strategy, Michael Porter argues that the five forces are an important element for managers and investors in the business industry. Porter stated that it is important to understand the competitive forces, and their underlying causes which many companies will use to determine if they will gain profit or not (Porter 80). Companies determine their profitability of the industry through the level of the force that they face. For instance, when the forces are favorable, most companies will be profitable. Porter gives a detail description of the five forces and explains the importance of each force. The five forces are the threats of new entrants, the power of the buyers, the power of the suppliers, the threats of substitute for products or services, and the rivalry among existing competitors. Porter believes that a company strategist who understands the competition extends well beyond existing rivals will detect wider competitive threats and be better equipped to address them (Porter 93). Paul the Apostle, originally known as Saul of Tarsus, was an apostle who travelled the world teaching the gospel of Christ to the first century world. He is generally considered one of the most important figures of the Apostolic Age. In this speech I will inform you about Paul s early life, Pauls Journeys and his letters. The World behind the Text: The purpose of Pauls Letters were to keep in contact with the churches and to resolve any problems or questions they had. Paul mainly wrote to communicate with distant churches, to encourage, to persuade, to inform and to respond to events that he had heard about. Paul s writings formulated key teachings about the nature of the Church. He taught about how Christ lived in them and by their baptism and the Holy Spirit they were able to contribute to the Christian community. In actuality we learn by experiencing certain events which brings forth a permanent behavior. Our learned behaviors may come from nature or nurture. Furthermore we have to keep in mind that not all types of changes in behaviors are due to learning. As previously mentioned, nature contributes to behavior. We are raised to learn as soon as we were babies it starts with the simply and then evolves into more complex processes such as observational, classical and operant learning. By observing and imitating the behaviors of the wild animals he became a wild animal himself. Tarzan is a prime example of observational learning (Buck, 1999). Classical conditioning is described as learning by association. Where responses are learned by experiences, whenever an unconditioned stimuli, is paired with a neutral stimuli, to elicit an unconditioned response. Which soon after, evolves into a conditioned stimuli and a conditioned response. In short we learn to mesh together two stimuli, and anticipate a matching reaction. The Disney movie Peter Pan, helps us grasp a better understanding of this concept. Although the movie doesn t go into great detail about how Captain Hook lost his hand, we know that a crocodile bit it off, it does give us some room to assume the events of this story. Every time Captain Hook hears a clock or sees a crocodile he becomes panic stricken. When he sees or hears either of those two things, he thinks a crocodile is going to eat him, which makes him go into a frenzy. Imagine we are present at the incident where captain hook lost his hand. Based on his behavior, we can assume that a clock was present when the crocodile bit off his hand. At that time, the clock was a neutral stimulus, since a clock normally wouldn t elicit a panic attack. The crocodile was a unconditioned stimuli, since during the incident it caused the unconditioned response of fear and pain to Captain Hook, since the crocodile ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This storytelling comes to a climax when Grail historian Leigh Teabing enters the scene, claiming that the Holy Grail is a person, more exactly Mary Magdalene and her descendants. Dan Brown also uses stream of consciousness technique in order to enable the reader to follow the protagonists trains of thought while breaking the codes. If Brown did not use this technique, he would only present the result of the characters thoughts. This would be boring for the reader, because he could not become involved in solving the riddles himself. The stream of consciousness technique includes flashbacks. These are important for the development of the plot as well. On the one hand they help the reader to get to know the characters; on the other hand they give hints regarding the decoding of Saunière s messages, since all flashbacks are connected to the Grail quest in one or the other way.
