On This American life podcast website, the podcast, Is This Working , had Ira Glass, the
interviewer, use many different stories and interviews from different walks of life to talk about
minority discipline in the school versus white discipline in schools. This interview was a
compelling story because it uses research and statistics from different states and races. This podcast
informs people about how discrimination is still real in the schools but handled differently. Also the
interviewers talk to, teachers, students and parents to show evidence.

Andre Caplet was a man of many talents. He was a great French conductor, composer, pianist,
and editor for many musician s works including Claude Debussy. On his first attempt, in 1901,
Caplet won the Prix de Rome for his piece Myrrha. This prestigious competition enabled the
winner to stay in Rome for 3 5 years to study music; It often took many great composers several
