Bioluminescence has many different potentials in the science field and in everyday life. It can be used
to tag viruses or be used to detect pollution among plants and in water. Scientists continue to learn the
many uses that bioluminescence can provide in other fields of science. For example, bioluminescence
has great potential and can be used to mark genes in order to identify them in further tests ( How
illuminating ). Some other things bioluminescence can be used for is to identify is the health of crops
and it is being studied in order to discover a means of producing light chemically without the need for
a source of heat. People are also getting more creative ideas for innovations. Scientist are injecting
plants, like trees, with the compounds and enzymes found in organisms with the ability to use
bioluminescence, giving the plants the ability to glow. They plan on eventually replacing street lamps
with trees that glow at night in order to reduce the use of electricity and carbon dioxide emissions

The director uses happy music when Billy dances in front of his dad to make it look like he is fighting
against the stereotyping. When Billy s brother has a go at the teacher when she says that Billy missed
a dance audition, this is stereotyping because the brother has a go at the teacher and says that he would

Listening to my own sensual voice, I seemed to convey a very strong knowledge of the poem, Hunger
Camp at Jaslo by Wislawa Szymborska. I extracted the meaning of the poem and supported my
assumption strongly with examples of literary technique throughout the poem. I scored myself in
Criterion A, knowledge and understanding of the poem, with a 5. In terms of Criterion B, appreciation
of the writer s choices, I brought forth a wide range of literary device examples ranging from
alliteration and repetition, to metaphor and diction. I awarded myself with a score of 4 in this category
as although my examples were plentiful and supportable there was certainly more room for analysis.

The colonisation of North America by the Europeans became one of the most crucial points for the
native North Americans. The differing experiences of contact between both cultures had
overwhelmingly disastrous impacts on the normal way of life. From such contact arose the issue of

Achieving Justice In America
Achieving justice in American society today is complicated. Society as a whole is indifferent on what
justice is defined by. The United States government creates laws and punishments for breaking those
laws. The foundation of all laws in America is the constitution. Judges and/or panels determine the
consequences of breaking those laws that are protected and enforced by lawyers and lawmen. The
challenge here is to truly determine what is to be considered justice for the state of the society deriving
their just powers from the consent of the governed (Jefferson, 1776), and not that for a lone individual
or a specific group. To bend rules or the law in a way to make a few happy is truly that of injustice.
