Vpn Exists For Virtual Private Network
Introduction VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. It provides a private network across the public
network (Internet). This allows the user to transmit and receive data to the private network across
Internet, like it is being directly connected to it. VPN has the characteristics of point to point and
private link. To resemble a point to point link, the data is sent along with the routing information
necessary to reach the destination through the public network. Data is encrypted and only the users in
the network can access the resources in it, which resembles the characteristics of a private connection.
Data sent through the VPN is very secure, as it cannot be deciphered without the encrypted keys. In
VPN, tunnel is the part of the connection where data is encapsulated and VPN connection is the part
of the connection where the data is encrypted. Figure 1: VPN Connectivity Overview VPN helps users
working remotely to connect to the company infrastructure securely. Although it establishes the
connection across the public network, user is not aware of it as it looks like data is being sent over a
dedicated link. VPN connection is like a Wide Area Network (WAN) between two areas. VPN is
commonly used in the following modes, ● Remote Access across public network This allows the users
to connect to the private network from anywhere. Using this solution more employees can
telecommute. The client connects to the public network first and initiates a connection with the VPN

Essay on The Rauschenberg Art Piece
At the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Rauschenberg art piece was definitely one form of
art I once did not consider to be art. The artwork is not exactly a painting to me but certainly an
illustration of something that is connected to real day to day objects. It was created by the artist Robert
Rauschenberg in 1954. It is oil on canvas painting which is eighty by ninety six in size and the
materials used are oil, paper, fabric and metal which are all on wood. It looks quite messy, with
materials like newspapers, cut out fabrics, the colors drips and how they are splashed around. The
image doesn t look attractive but it sure does attract different ideas from the viewers on what the
image itself is trying to portray. In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The main medium used in the painting is the fabric material and discarded newspapers, which in my
opinion is great because I think this artist wanted to do something very different from the other artists
which draws other attractions. I think this artist sticks to his overall concept of chaotic design and
doesn t apply much composition cause of his material choices like newspapers and fabrics. If I was
Rauschenberg, and wanted to stick conceptual on my artworks, I would change nothing except the
color scheme to make it look more complex and interesting for the viewer to feed their eyes on for a
while before they could see the imagery behind the chaotic placement of objects in the piece. But then
again, it all depends on the context of the piece I m working on. The painting is very much in an art
style that is somewhat unique to just the painting aspect of it. I think the art piece is about looking at
divisions as one. In other words, separated visuals could lead to one perspective. The objects in the
visual tell us a lot about the artist, he s more into perspectives that concern day to day things we do,
for example the pillows present the idea of rest, rocks and mountains showing adventure, the
newspapers connects with what goes on around us. The artist Rauschenberg in my view keeps to his
emphasis on his style of art; by sprinkling the paint

Example Of Code Switching
Based off the google dictionary, code switching refers to the practice of alternating between two or
more languages or varieties of language in conversation. The dictionary definition showcases how
people would talk using two or more languages or accents whenever they talk to others. If I were to
compare the two versions, my version is different from the dictionary definition, but the same concept.
I could see the term being used when we say different forms of our language to people in different
environments. It could occur when you would use slang when talking to your friends, but talk more
professionally when in the workplace talking to your boss. The same could go for when you are
talking to your elders in a more respectful tone than you ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It s like when my parents would ,accidentally at times, blend in their own native language when
talking english to me. My parents wanted me to learn their native language, so they both started
mixing in their language with english. They eventually stopped for reasons i have no clue on, but to
me, that seems like a good example of the dictionary definition. The exact time code switching was
used was when my parents started talking to me in english with some native language in their speech.
Another example comes from a youtube video called, Denice Frohman Accents . According to Denice
Frohman, her mother would blend in the english language with spanish words when talking to her. Her
mother s accent is the one that is making her speech sound hispanic even though she is using speaking
the english language with some spanish words mixed in. Near the end of her poem Denice Frohman
started code switching as well. She started spicing up her speech with spanish words like hermano ,
weba , and dale .She was demonstrating how her family reacts during a get together when she started
code switching. Using her mother as an example and using code switching at the end highlighted the
dictionary definition of the term. For my definition, however, I would summarize the definition in my
own words on how people use the term

The Initiation Of 3 D Printing
Initiation of 3 D printing took place in end 1980s. Fundamentals of 3 D printing were laid by Japanese
Professor. Although he was not able to contribute 100% with his idea, but later on, Mr. Charles Huck
carried on with this idea and finally came up with a machine that can create prototypes. Later he also
co founded a 3 D manufacturing company that is right now one of the largest 3 D company in the
world and contributes a lot to modern era problems. After this initiative, progress on additive
manufacturing process or 3 D printing got started, and since then, it became one of the most important
sector of science, specifically engineering, as it have produced a lot of useful results and have also
simplified some lengthy tasks, transforming them into efficient, accurate and cost effective activity.
As discussed in introduction about types of 3 D printers and variety of industries where they can be
used, explanations regarding these aspects are as follows:
i. STEREO LITHOGRAPHY (SLA) ii. FUSED DEPOSITION MODELLING iii. SELECTIVE
LASER SINTERING (SLS) iv. MULTI JET MODELLING (MJM)
v. VFLASH PRINTER vi. FUSED FILAMENT FABRICATION (FFF) OR FUSED DEPOSTION
MODELLING (FDM)
Fundamentals of all types of printers stated above are same. As prototypes are printed layer by layer,
so certain dimensions are required by printers to print that part. As all designing activities are
performed on computer and computers are used to directly send commands to printers, defining actual
structure of

The Identity Of Imperial Russia In The 19th Century
19th Century Russia Imperial Russia as an autocracy infers that the tsar and the imperial body is who
determines what Russia s identity is. The 19th century began under the leadership of Tsar Paul
followed by his successors. Each of them had different visions of what Russia would become. The
Russian people also had their own idea of what the Russian path was to be. Opposition and rebellion
would occur throughout the century eventually leading to a revolution. Russia during the 19th century
witnessed many historical events with varying causes; however, most can be viewed as an attempt to
discover the identity of what Russia was in respect to the rest of the world. Alexander I looked to take
a different approach to the identity of Russia. He ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The shift began with the Decembrist and the effect they had on Nicholas. Moss explained, At the very
beginning of his reign, he perceived the Decembrist revolt as reflecting Western ideas and his crushing
of it as a manifestation of loyalty to Russian ways (Moss, 356). The actions of the Decembrist
contributed to his official philosophy which was an attempt to answer the question of, who is Russia?
Nicholas I s Russian Path can be explained in three terms, orthodoxy, autocracy, and nationalism.
Nicholas implemented his official philosophy within the household, schools, churches and various
aspects of Russian life. He split the education system into different levels based on your loyalty to the
imperial system. He opposed radical religions and promoted orthodoxy as the true religion of Russia.
For the household, he developed the imperial imagery which was displaying how a Russian family
should be. Tsar Nicholas was shown as the perfect father figure of Russia. Nicholas s domestic
policies altered Russian society. Nicholas s discontent with western ideas and influence on society
were not favored by much of Russian society.
Nicholas s foreign affairs were also connected to his official philosophy. After the war with Napoleon,
Russia had become the constitutional monarch of Poland. After an attempted assassination of Grand
Duke Constantine, Nicholas alters the constitutional monarchy in

The Civil Rights Movement From The 1960 s
In today s world, people deal with the constant struggle of finding whose needs are more important.
Individuals, and individualism itself, claim to have their life be there s, and they can do whatever they
please, however, when people put society s needs before theirs, they are doing their good for society,
and everyone around them. Society s goal is to move the human population forward in a positive
direction, and to help everyone instead of just one person. In today s world, individuals must look at
society, and social needs to fulfill their own needs, giving the needs of society more of an importance
to all. When you compare the overall purpose of individual needs and. social needs, social needs are
there to fulfill the needs of all individuals. In society, when people are apart of a group, they feel a
sense of pride, and importance towards that group. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

individuals around you will be affected positively like in the Civil Rights Movement. Although society
makes a positive impact on others, society also gives a good holding ground of what people can and
can t do in general. Today social media and public encounters with people give a general direction of
what is acceptable and what is not. People have many different styles, and some are more wild than
others, so when those types of people are in public, or on social media or something that multiple

Music Is A Form Of Expression And Beauty
The science or art of ordering tones or sounds in succession, combination, and temporal relationships
produce a composition having unity and continuity; in layman s terms, music. Music is an art that has
evolved for many centuries. It is a form of expression and beauty. It has come a long way from beating
rocks with sticks and listening to the sound. A drastic change took place during the Renaissance
Period. The instruments changed, new genres emerged, and new composition techniques were used.
Renaissance means rebirth, and in a sense there was a rebirth. The Renaissance Period took place in
Europe during the 14th and 17th centuries. Civilization immediately following the Middle Ages,
conventionally held to have been characterized by a surge of interest in classical learning and values.

Sarita Is A Lost Object
Sarita, in order to get rid of depression, has to name her lost object. The thing she is suffering for its
loss. Ironically, Sarita cannot name it and calls it this thing . She knows that she cannot call it love.
She believes that does not love Julio but actually hates him for being the reason of her pain. She tries
to find a meaning to her life and through her search for it she attempts to find a name for her
depressive object to get rid of it. She use letter writing, prayers to god and questioning her old
neighbor Fernando about peace of soul. Hence, through her journey to find meaning, she hopes to
identify her lost thing that drives her depression and emptiness. Sarita s mother Fela, establishes her
identity building by identifying to the fixed role assigned to her as a single mother in the patriarchal
society. She accepts the humiliation and disintegration that unwedded woman receives in the male
supporting society. Sarita, on the other hand, does not achieve her identity fulfilment by writing

healing method to overcome the obstacles that the writer of it faces in dealing with his depression, yet,
Fornes does not follow this pattern in her play Sarita. The play s heroine uses autobiographical writing

Essay on The Big Bang Theory
The Big Bang Theory
Why is the Universe expanding? What is Cosmic Back Ground Radiation (CBR)? There are many
questions asked about our Universe, which we know so little about. Scientists, in their attempt to
answer these and other confrontations, have found one idea that seems to explain much of what we
don t understand: The Big Bang Theory.
An explosion of incomprehensible speed was the beginning of our known Universe and existence. At
that time matter as small as the head of a pin inflated to become larger than the visible Universe of
today in less than one millisecond. The newly born Universe cooled very quickly and continued to
grow. Still, the heat was too great for normal elementary particles like protons and neutrons to ...

There were many people who worked together to come up with the present theory of creation. Edwin
Hubble, Arno Penzias, Robert Wilson and Alan Guth all contributed greatly to the formation of the
Big Bang theory.
Edwin Hubble used his large telescope to see far away stars and galaxies. He knew that the elements
in the stars reflected back specific colors, and you could tell what a star was made of by its color ?
DNA?. Hubble noticed that this pattern had been slightly shifted to the red side of the spectrum,
otherwise called a red shift. He knew, based on the Doppler effect, that a red shift was caused by the
stretched wavelengths of an object moving away from a point. If the galaxies he had observed had
shifted to the red side then it meant that they were moving away from Earth. He also discovered that
the galaxies were moving away from each other, as well.
With these observations in mind, Hubble announced that the universe was expanding. He then came to
this syllogism: If the universe is expanding, then at one point it was smaller. The result of his
postulations was the Big Bang theory.
Another mystery of the universe was the Cosmic Background Radiation (CBR). CBR is made up of
photons throughout the universe that are floating for no apparent reason in space. Arno Penzias and
Robert Wilson spent their lives trying to explain the origin of this radiation and why it is still existent
today. Their discoveries

Informative Essay On Radiation
I have found that radiation can either be very helpful or very dangerous, this all depends on the
amount and how it s used. The definition of radiation is the process by which energy is emitted as
either particles or waves(mirion 2010).Radiation is measured in waves or curies. Curies is named after
one of the radiation founders Marie Curie. Radiation was discovered by many different people.
Radiation is used in many helpful ways such as medical and home use. It can also used to kill bacteria
and parasites in food to make them last longer.

doing this may cause the food to become radioactive or unsafe. You many also think that using
irradiation could cause the nutritional value to decrease or become lesser. Many studies have been

Auto Loan With Bad Credit
Refinance Auto Loan with Bad Credit
Description: This piece of article is going to reveal a number of very important facts on refinancing
automobile loan with awful credit
In case you must refinance auto loan with bad credit as a result of economic hardship and are troubled
that you will have difficulty finding a lender who would be ready to work with you do not need to be
concerned. This is because there are ample people whose situation is similar to yours.
The fact is that the number of end users handling bad / no credit in any way has increased noticeably
over the course of the past small number of years as a result of meager economic conditions. There are
also more lenders who are ready to work with those having credit issues.
Refinancing is Right for You?
Ahead of commencing your hunt for a lender who is eager on working with somebody having bad
credit, you must first decide whether refinancing is sensible or not. It does not seem sensible if you
can acquire a lesser interest rate on the new loan of yours. It is also sensible if your eventual goal is to
merely get a lesser monthly imbursement.
Refinance auto loan with bad credit is not sensible if it so happens that the new loan leads to greater
interest costs. All being said and done it basically boils down on what you as a borrower are happy
with. If you re okay with paying additional interest over the longer run to be able to get a lesser
monthly payment that you re happier with, refinance option does make sense.

Theban Trilogy, Oedipus At Colonus By Sophocles
Thousands of years after its origin, the dramatic tragedy remains one of the arts most popular forms,
combining the potent elements of love, hate, revenge, ambitions, and the human condition. Sophocles,
took place to be one of the greatest tragedy writers of his time. Sophocles has written many plays over
the course of his lifetime; his plays are one out of three tragedy writers whose plays survived. The
Theban Trilogy, one of many plays Sophocles had written, composed of 3 different plays, Oedipus the
King, Oedipus at Colonus, and Antigone. Oedipus the King, a tragedy that shows the role of fate,
chance and pride inside of a family and community. Oedipus at Colonus, dramatizes the end of a
tragic hero s life, Oedipus, and his importance to Athens. Antigone, the last play in the trilogy, shows
the empowerment of Antigone after she decides to choose her own path in life. The chorus, the voice
of a greater society, plays three major roles in the trilogy; mediating, directing and dramatizing.
Throughout the trilogy we are introduced to the chorus, and their importance in the plays.
Mediating, one of the most important roles the chorus plays in the trilogy. The chorus mediates in the
sense of space and understanding, such as comments and making known certain ideas and themes that
developed in the dramatic world. The chorus had made comments on the fall of Oedipus, about his
greatness, weakness and fate and frailty of man, the commentary also sets and creates the mood and

The Machine Stops, By Em Forster
In this essay I will discuss EM Forster s short story The Machine Stops, which is a cautionary tale
about technological progress and its impact on various aspects of human behavior, including isolation
and solitude, risk avoidance and contact avoidance, communication and social connections, and the
nature of the residents of the Machine s relationship with knowledge. I will specifically touch on all of
these ideas and how they connect with one another in that they are all products of our desire for
comfort, but inevitably lead to disconnection and the end of humanity. Additionally, I will discuss the
prescience of the short story in relation to the present day, where technological advancement and
dependence have come a long ways since the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When Vashti and Kuno are talking to each other through the machine, Vashti is unable to tell the
subtleties of Kuno s expressions. The Machine did not transmit nuances of expression. It only gave a
general idea of people an idea that was good enough for all practical purposes (3). Later, Forster
writes, Something good enough had long since been accepted by our race (3). Forster is making a
statement that although, in the world of the Machine, there is great technological advancement, the use
of technology to communicate will never match the nuance of face to face communication. Further,
they have accepted that the communication through technology is good enough, which leads one to
conclude that the lack of nuance in this type of communication is met with compliance. It is important
to note that Kuno is notably not content with communication through the Machine. He says, I want to
speak to you not through the wearisome Machine and I hear something like you through this
telephone, but I do not hear you...pay me a visit, so that we can meet face to face (2). The Kuno
character is Forster s means of discussing the value of face to face communication. Communication
with something Kuno hears or something Kuno sees through the machine isn t the same as
communication with his mother in

Tim Burton Techniques
From films such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to The Corpse Bride, director Tim Burton has
charmed millions with his unique style and techniques. Tim Burton uses low key lighting and non
diegetic sound in order to fluctuate the emotions, perspectives of the character, situations, and mood in
order to show his audience that everyone is different in their own special way.
To begin, Tim Burton uses low key lighting to manipulate different emotions within the audience and
create suspense. In Burton s film The Corpse Bride, when Victor is walking through the forest,
repeating his vows over and over again, the lowkey lighting in the background creates creepy shadows
making the forest look more threatening and intimidating. Later in the movie, ... Show more content

In Burton s film, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, he uses non diegetic sound when Willy Wonka is
walking the children and their parents into the edible room. Burton uses non diegetic sound to show
the different perspectives of each one of the children and their reaction to the room but it also changes
the mood of the story. By using the orchestral music, Tim Burton is able to show the children and their
parents thoughts and emotions.Burton allows the audience to get a deeper understanding of the
characters. Another film that buron uses non diegetic sounds in is Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
In the scene as Victor rehearses his vows, the music is proud and triumphant, but when Victor places
the ring, unknowingly, on the bride s figure the music changes to a dark and frantic soundtrack, which
changes the mood of the crowd from being happy for Victor to being scared for him as he runs away
from the bride. By changing the music as the scenes change, Burton is able to fluctuate the mood of
the setting for the audience. Burton also is able to portray that Victor s mood is also changing. In
addition to allowing the audience to gain a better understanding of the characters, Burton uses non
diegetic sounds to foreshadow the events that are about to happen, such as when the music changes

Judge Berman s Inflation Scandal
In court Tom Brady s deflate scandal was about following laws not weather he actually was a part of
the scandal. Judge Berman isn t focusing his ruling on the deflated footballs themselves as much as
the arbitrator complying with the statues. As stated in the court ruling Under the Federal Arbitration
Act ( FAA ), the validity of an award is subject to attack only on those grounds listed . However in this
scandal the NFL never had a rule against footballs being under inflated. Mr. Goodell is not free to

Solutions Manual to accompany Company Accounting 10e prepared by Ken Leo John Hoggett John
Sweeting Jeffrey Knapp Sue McGowan John Wiley Sons Australia, Ltd 2015 Chapter 2 Financing
company operations REVIEW QUESTIONS 1. Explain the nature of a share. Distinguish between an
ordinary share and a preference share. Basically, a share represents ownership of a portion of the share
capital of a company. Also note the discussion in Chapter 1 of the text concerning the relationship
between limited liability and the amount paid up on a share. The differences between ordinary and
preference shares are determined by the terms of issue. A company has the right to issue preference
shares, but may only do so either if there is a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the share issue is fully subscribed, the underwriter will collect the commission and not have to do
anything. 4. If a share issue is oversubscribed, what action can be taken in relation to excess money
received on application? Excess monies received on application for shares will be refunded to the
applicant. However where shares are issued on a partly paid basis, the excess can be used as an offset
in reducing allotment money due and in payment of any future calls, provided the company s
constitution and the terms of the prospectus allow for this treatment. 5. When can a company forfeit its
shares? What happens to money already paid by the holder of those shares? A company can forfeit its
shares provided the rules for forfeiture are in the company s constitution. The rules usually specify
that shares would be forfeited for non payment of calls. Where shares are forfeited, the company can,
depending on the constitution, retain the funds already paid on the forfeited shares in which case the
Forfeited Shares account will be considered a reserve and part of equity. Alternatively, the forfeited
shares can be reissued and the amount received, less the costs of forfeiture and reissue of shares, may
then be refunded to the former shareholders. In this case, the Forfeited Shares account is a liability. 6.
How should a company account for the legal costs of formation? Should the accounting treatment be
the same as that for underwriting and other share issue

Sherman Alexie Biography
Ayla Hall Mrs. Brown 11th Adv. LIt 20 December 2016 Sherman Alexie Sherman Alexie is a Native
American writer who writes about life as an American Indian. Alexie uses his family and culture to
create the setting, and he also uses it to create a three person reflection of himself through his
characters Thomas Builds The Fire, Victor Joseph, and Victor Polatkin. One of the things that
contributed to Alexie s writing was his family. Sherman Alexie was born in Spokane, Washington, on
October 7, 1966, the son of Sherman Joseph Alexie and Lillian Agnes (née Cox) Alexie (Sax). Alexie
s father was an alcoholic and was absent for most of his childhood. Thomas father, Samuel, in Alexie s

When Thomas first got Johnson s guitar, he was talking to Victor and Junior about it. Victor wanted to
know what he had named it. Tell me, Victor said and cut off Thomas air for a second (Alexie 14).
Junior tries to get Victor to let go of Thomas. I ain t letting you go until you tell me, (Alexie 14).
Junior was very persistent and physical, which as Alexie described as part of himself. The three
predominant characters in his first novel, Reservation Blues, Alexie has described as the holy trinity of
me (McFarland). Victor proceeded to argue with Thomas about the guitar. He is trying to get him to
stop playing songs by making him play a specific song. What happens if you can t play the song?
Victor asked. Then you can kick my ass some more. We ll kick your ass anyway, Victor said (Alexie
15). Victor also used an electric fence to be mean to Thomas. Watch this, Victor said as he dropped a
foot long water snake onto the fence. Thomas nearly choked on the smell (Alexie 71). Thomas did not
want to say anything in fear of making it worse. Thomas was a little frivolous around Victor Junior
once again tried to get Victor to stop but it did not work. Victor drug Thomas over to a barrel where he
had a rattlesnake inside. Grab the fence, Victor said. Or grab the snake (Alexie 71). This was quite a
shrewd thing to do, but Thomas was more crafty when he touched the snake, knowing it was dead
when Victor did not. Victor can be implacable and arduous about what he wants people to do. Victor
was also drunk a lot. Do you got a beer? (Alexie 19) Junior asked one of the Indians on the reservation
that everybody knew did not drink like that. He got drunk almost and passed asleep in the water truck
every night. Victor and Junior were passed out in the water truck on an old logging road (Alexie 23).

Hydrogen Peroxide Reaction Lab
Conclusions and Evaluation:
The purpose of this lab was to explore how certain quantities of hydrogen peroxide would affect the
amount of oxygen gas produced in the following lab. The hypothesis of the lab in question was that, if
the amount of Hydrogen peroxide added to the catalase (liver) solution increased, then the amount of
oxygen gas produced would be much greater. This is because the greater amount of hydrogen peroxide
in a catalase solution will result in there being more solution to deform into oxygen. Evidently after
this experiment the hypothesis stated has been proven correct, as the quantity of hydrogen peroxide
increased the amount of oxygen gas produced also increased. This can proven as at 10 ml there was

The results came with many challenges which ultimately led to not one but two outliers being
produced. When comparing the data for the lab in question to other labs, the data shown in Table 1
shows that each 6ml and 18ml trial came with very high results compared to different quantitative
values of hydrogen peroxide. Evidently these outlier did raise many eyebrows to why on earth such a
thing would occur. The outlier lead the experimenters to believe that 6ml and 18ml were special case
and not a human error. This is because all qualitative data of 6ml as well as 18ml in Table 4 had shown
no drastic difference and seemed to follow the overall trend of observations noticed. Furthermore in
Table 4 despite these unexpected outlier, the close range and proximity in numbers compared to that of
the other values lead the experimenters to disregard the outliers despite its large range when assuming
the overall trend of the data shown in Table 1. Nonetheless the lab in question has data results that are
inaccurate and unreliable for use of any reference or

The Value Of Taking Responsibility Essay
The Value in Taking Responsibility During the late 1800 s and early 1900 s a series of laws and
campaigns were instated to prevent forest fires. It was believed that forest fires would greatly damage
the timber industry due to the loss of trees the forests would suffer as a result. The longer these
campaigns persisted, the worse the forest fire breakouts became, and the forests continued to degrade.
Many animals were also displaced and threatened as a result of these intense fires. Eventually forestry
researchers and conservationists started looking at what fires did to the various ecosystems. They
found that fires actually promote the growth of healthier, stronger trees by burning the weak trees and
providing more nutrients for the soil. By suppressing fires, the forests experienced large amounts of
degradation, and many animals were threatened by the loss of sustainable habitats. Controlled burns
every few years actually benefits all the organisms living in that ecosystem, however, in some places it
s nearly impossible to burn. After so many years of fire suppression the leaf litter has accumulated to
such large amounts that any fire started would burn to hot and high for the forest to survive. Human
interests often times have profound affects on the world around them. There are many instances like
the above example in which peoples own self interests end up hurting and degrading the environment
around them. In the aftermath of events such as this, there are many

Prediction Of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor...
What is the topic number of your assigned article and the title of the paper?
#5, Title: Prediction of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor response using diffusion
weighted
MRI
Outline of the Main Points to be included in your Poster Presentation of your article
WHY: The purpose of this article was to present findings of a study that analyzed the difference in
serotonin uptake in the brain between patients who remitted to SSRI antidepressants and those who
did not.
WHAT: I hope to learn more about serotonin uptake in the brain (specifically in the amygdala and
hippocampus) and how this relates to depression and its treatment. I also hope to learn how the
researchers analyzed their data and how they decided to analyze it in a certain way based on the types
of data they obtained.
HOW:
1. Skim and outline:
a. What is the overall objective of this investigation? Why was the study undertaken?
The study was performed to reaffirm a previous observation that there is a difference in ability for
serotonin to bind between depressed people who respond to SSRI s and those who don t. The
investigation focuses on the left and right amygdala and hippocampus. FA (fractional anisotropy)
values of SSRI remitters and non
remitters in the hippocampus and amygdala were found by
performing probabilistic tractography using the DW
MRI scan. Probabilistic tractography was
performed using an algorithm that computes probabilistic streamlines through each voxel. The

The Human Stain By Phillip Roth
Losing your Identity
A person identity defines who they are. Unfortunately we do not get to choose our identity; yet our
identity chooses us. Even though we do not get to choose our identity, one needs to be appreciative of
their identity. In the novel The Human Stain by Phillip Roth, Coleman Silk s actions show that he is
losing his identity. Coleman Silk is a man that made irrational decisions in his life, such as making a
racial comment while teaching, lying about his race, and having an affair. In all, he was trying to find
a new identity in search for power. As results of his life decisions, Coleman Silk lost his original
identity that would dwell on him forever. It all started when professor Coleman Silk was lecturing in
class; and he called two absent students spooks . As there were still two names that failed to elicit a
response by the fifth week into the semester, Coleman, in the sixth week, opened the session by
asking, Does anyone know these people? Do they exist or are they spooks? (Roth 6). Resulting in
Coleman getting verbally attacked by the board, for making a racist phrase spooks . In the end the
spooks racists phrase precedes to Coleman Silk s resignation. Having to leave his job as a professor
and Dean of the faculty, he lost a chunk of his original identity. After the dilemma with the college,

My most memorable childhood event was when I was 15 years old. It was the Fourth of July. A big
family vacation a barbeque, over night stay and out of town trip to six flags, and I had a blast the night
before me, my mom, sisters and brother packed our bags to stay the night over my cousin house in
Goodlettsville ,Tennessee. She had the biggest house ever I thought it was a mansion; six bedrooms
two an half bath, a swimming pool, a game/movie room with a nice big kitchen. It was something that
I was not use, knowing that we stayed in a three bedroom based on an income apartment on the East

There were so many rides big and small. Some of them i did nt get to ride because i was too short and
they didnt believe my age. So i was mad and ready to home because i thought it was unfair. So i
decide to stay by the pool with my granny and Aunt Jackie. Which was fine with me because they
gave me money to play games and to get food. I remember almost collecting fifthy dollars from them
and that was alot of money to me. I listen to all the grown up gossip. They were funny until they
realized i was laughing with them. So they made me go play. I finally seen my brother swimming so
that was my plan in revenge i jump on him while he was under water and didnt let him until i felt like
he had enough. After while it turned into a game of marco polo. Then it was time to go we got together

storm washes Dexter and Joe out to sea on the life raft and leaves the children alone on a sinking boat.

What kind of a story do you think this will be? Talk within your group and then add your ideas in a
bubble chart. The name of the document you add to is on the Smart Board. Raise your hand if you are
the recorder for your group today. Remember to watch your timer so you are done in time. (Allow
students to discuss the question and add their ideas to the shared document.) Look at your ideas. I see
you all did a great job of inferring what kind of story you think it will be based on the short part I read
to you. (Discuss their various ideas). This story fits in with our habitat unit because it is a survival
story. People have to survive in their habitats, just like animals do. So, what do you think would
happen if you were picked up and dumped into an unknown habitat, like a tropical island, or a desert,
or in the middle of a huge old forest? With no adults, just you and your brothers and sisters. Could you
survive? (Let the question linger a few seconds). I m going to count down from 10 and when I hit zero
I want to see groups of three standing back to back waiting for instructions. Go. (When students are
ready proceed). When I say, go I want you to turn and face your partners and discuss exactly what you
three would need to do right away to stay alive if you were stranded together in the wild. Remember
what we have learned about what organisms need to survive. I have set the timer for five minutes. Go.
(When timer goes off, bring students back to a full group on the rug). I heard a lot of great ideas as I
walked around the room. Well done! Now, as I read the story to you, I want you to take special notice
of what these children do to survive. Would you have done the same thing? What would you have
done differently? What mistakes did they make? What

1080 Is A New Zealand s Largest Environmental Debate Essay
1080 is arguably New Zealand s largest environmental debate dating back to the first time was widely
used in New Zealand back in 1957. 1080 is the shortened name for Sodium Fluoroacetate and is a
poison that is mixed into baits that are then used to control a large range of introduced pests like
possums, stoats and rats in New Zealand. Without controlling these pests the New Zealand native bush
and native species would be decimated. 1080 is a very effective poison and it is reported by The
Department of Conservation (DOC) that 1080 kills approximately 98% of possums and 90% of rats in
the targeted drop area. 1080 is dropped on targeted areas via helicopter to ensure that it is not dropped
anywhere it shouldn t be. 1080 costs approximately $17 per hectare according to the DOC website.
New Zealand imports 80% of the total amount of 1080 produce in the world.
How does 1080 work?
1080 works by once it is eaten by the animal it deactivates many enzymes however the important
enzyme that it deactivates is aconitase this is the enzyme that is important in the Krebs cycle that
converts food into energy. The Krebs cycle is the metabolic pathway that is used by all aerobic
organisms to produce ATP. ATP is important as it is the energy that is used in the body to do pretty
much everything. So when the animal cannot produce ATP the bodily systems begin to shut down.
This means that the animal will starve to death therefore it is not a very nice way to die and it can take
up to 40 hours

The Importance Of Women s Basketball
Are women s sports less interesting? Many people think that women s basketball is less interesting.
There are several reasons why women s sports is less popular. Women s sports are less flashy and no
as fun to watch. There are reasons why women s sports is superior to men s sports. Basketball is one
of the biggest women sports around the world. Even though it is popular it is still not as popular as
men s basketball. The reasons why it is less popular are mostly because of wanting to be excited while
watching. Some of the reasons of less interest in women s basketball is there are not as many upsets,
women s basketball is predictable, the talent is not as wide in the WNBA, and the competition is better
in the NBA. Women can not do all of the flashy things that men can do in the game of basketball.
Women s basketball started to become more popular around the 1970s. Women s basketball was not
taken seriously until the 1970s. By the 1970s the sport had attracted the notice the International
Olympic Committee, which added women s basketball as an official sport of the Olympic Games in
1976, the men debuted in 1936. (Women s Basketball) The rise of men s basketball was around 1946.
The women were behind in popularity by thirty years.Today both the WNBA and the NBA are both

As I said in the introduction, I am only over here for one year; this means that every Soldier within the

Currently there is an incentive option to encourage Soldiers to extend for an additional year in Korea;
this is known as the Assignment Incentive Pay (AIP) Option, where you get an additional three
hundred dollars a month from the moment you sign the documents to extend until you leave the
country. Although this is a nice option to have, many Soldiers and leaders still choose not to stay any
longer than their one year obligation. As I see it the only way to get Soldiers and leaders to stay is to
make them stay. To develop a proper way ahead and remain flexible to change as needed throughout
the process, Kotter s eight step approach to change would allow for a good strategy rather than plan to
allow for the Army to accomplish this mission. The first step on Kotter s approach is to develop a
sense of urgency; just like most things in life, if you re not being pushed by someone of something to

decide on a date that we would start implementing the normal accompanied tour and send out a

are transitioning back to the longer tour to enhance readiness and detour any aggressions from North

Brief Summary of Episode
To prove Tannen s arguments are correct, I watched an episode of politically incorrect with Bill
Maher. The March 18, 2002, episode included four men and one woman. All four of the guests on the
show are popular celebrities. The first male was Tom Green. He is a comedian and television host, and
he also owns his own television show called The Tom Green Show. The next male was Howard
Lyman. He is a former Montana cattle rancher who turned into a vegetarian. Lyman is currently in the
news for trying to stop ground up meat from being put in cattle feed. The third male was Humberto
Fontova, who is an author who writes books about scuba diving. Bill Maher is the host of Politically
Incorrect, and he was the fourth male on the episode. Politically Incorrect began on Comedy Central
in 1993, and Maher caught the eye of ABC in 1997 and moved to late night television. The one
woman on the show is actress Florence Henderson. Most Americans know her as Mrs. Brady from the
sitcom The Brady Bunch. It aired for five seasons between 1969 and 1974.

  • 2. Vpn Exists For Virtual Private Network Introduction VPN stands for Virtual Private Network. It provides a private network across the public network (Internet). This allows the user to transmit and receive data to the private network across Internet, like it is being directly connected to it. VPN has the characteristics of point to point and private link. To resemble a point to point link, the data is sent along with the routing information necessary to reach the destination through the public network. Data is encrypted and only the users in the network can access the resources in it, which resembles the characteristics of a private connection. Data sent through the VPN is very secure, as it cannot be deciphered without the encrypted keys. In VPN, tunnel is the part of the connection where data is encapsulated and VPN connection is the part of the connection where the data is encrypted. Figure 1: VPN Connectivity Overview VPN helps users working remotely to connect to the company infrastructure securely. Although it establishes the connection across the public network, user is not aware of it as it looks like data is being sent over a dedicated link. • 5. Essay on The Rauschenberg Art Piece At the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Rauschenberg art piece was definitely one form of art I once did not consider to be art. The artwork is not exactly a painting to me but certainly an illustration of something that is connected to real day to day objects. It was created by the artist Robert Rauschenberg in 1954. It is oil on canvas painting which is eighty by ninety six in size and the materials used are oil, paper, fabric and metal which are all on wood. It looks quite messy, with materials like newspapers, cut out fabrics, the colors drips and how they are splashed around. The image doesn t look attractive but it sure does attract different ideas from the viewers on what the image itself is trying to portray. In ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The main medium used in the painting is the fabric material and discarded newspapers, which in my opinion is great because I think this artist wanted to do something very different from the other artists which draws other attractions. I think this artist sticks to his overall concept of chaotic design and doesn t apply much composition cause of his material choices like newspapers and fabrics. If I was Rauschenberg, and wanted to stick conceptual on my artworks, I would change nothing except the color scheme to make it look more complex and interesting for the viewer to feed their eyes on for a while before they could see the imagery behind the chaotic placement of objects in the piece. But then again, it all depends on the context of the piece I m working on. The painting is very much in an art style that is somewhat unique to just the painting aspect of it. I think the art piece is about looking at divisions as one. In other words, separated visuals could lead to one perspective. The objects in the visual tell us a lot about the artist, he s more into perspectives that concern day to day things we do, for example the pillows present the idea of rest, rocks and mountains showing adventure, the newspapers connects with what goes on around us. The artist Rauschenberg in my view keeps to his emphasis on his style of art; by sprinkling the paint ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

If I were to compare the two versions, my version is different from the dictionary definition, but the same concept. I could see the term being used when we say different forms of our language to people in different environments. It could occur when you would use slang when talking to your friends, but talk more professionally when in the workplace talking to your boss. Although he was not able to contribute 100% with his idea, but later on, Mr. Charles Huck carried on with this idea and finally came up with a machine that can create prototypes. Later he also co founded a 3 D manufacturing company that is right now one of the largest 3 D company in the world and contributes a lot to modern era problems. After this initiative, progress on additive manufacturing process or 3 D printing got started, and since then, it became one of the most important sector of science, specifically engineering, as it have produced a lot of useful results and have also simplified some lengthy tasks, transforming them into efficient, accurate and cost effective activity. There are many questions asked about our Universe, which we know so little about. Scientists, in their attempt to answer these and other confrontations, have found one idea that seems to explain much of what we don t understand: The Big Bang Theory. An explosion of incomprehensible speed was the beginning of our known Universe and existence. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... There were many people who worked together to come up with the present theory of creation. Edwin Hubble, Arno Penzias, Robert Wilson and Alan Guth all contributed greatly to the formation of the Big Bang theory. Edwin Hubble used his large telescope to see far away stars and galaxies. He knew that the elements in the stars reflected back specific colors, and you could tell what a star was made of by its color ? DNA?. Hubble noticed that this pattern had been slightly shifted to the red side of the spectrum, otherwise called a red shift. He knew, based on the Doppler effect, that a red shift was caused by the stretched wavelengths of an object moving away from a point. If the galaxies he had observed had shifted to the red side then it meant that they were moving away from Earth. He also discovered that the galaxies were moving away from each other, as well. With these observations in mind, Hubble announced that the universe was expanding. He then came to this syllogism: If the universe is expanding, then at one point it was smaller. The result of his postulations was the Big Bang theory. Another mystery of the universe was the Cosmic Background Radiation (CBR). CBR is made up of photons throughout the universe that are floating for no apparent reason in space. • 26. The Value Of Taking Responsibility Essay The Value in Taking Responsibility During the late 1800 s and early 1900 s a series of laws and campaigns were instated to prevent forest fires. It was believed that forest fires would greatly damage the timber industry due to the loss of trees the forests would suffer as a result. The longer these campaigns persisted, the worse the forest fire breakouts became, and the forests continued to degrade. Many animals were also displaced and threatened as a result of these intense fires. Eventually forestry researchers and conservationists started looking at what fires did to the various ecosystems. They found that fires actually promote the growth of healthier, stronger trees by burning the weak trees and providing more nutrients for the soil. By suppressing fires, the forests experienced large amounts of degradation, and many animals were threatened by the loss of sustainable habitats. Controlled burns every few years actually benefits all the organisms living in that ecosystem, however, in some places it s nearly impossible to burn. After so many years of fire suppression the leaf litter has accumulated to such large amounts that any fire started would burn to hot and high for the forest to survive. What is the topic number of your assigned article and the title of the paper? #5, Title: Prediction of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor response using diffusion weighted MRI Outline of the Main Points to be included in your Poster Presentation of your article WHY: The purpose of this article was to present findings of a study that analyzed the difference in serotonin uptake in the brain between patients who remitted to SSRI antidepressants and those who did not. WHAT: I hope to learn more about serotonin uptake in the brain (specifically in the amygdala and hippocampus) and how this relates to depression and its treatment. I also hope to learn how the researchers analyzed their data and how they decided to analyze it in a certain way based on the types of data they obtained. HOW: 1. Skim and outline: a. What is the overall objective of this investigation? Why was the study undertaken? The study was performed to reaffirm a previous observation that there is a difference in ability for serotonin to bind between depressed people who respond to SSRI s and those who don t. The investigation focuses on the left and right amygdala and hippocampus. FA (fractional anisotropy) values of SSRI remitters and non remitters in the hippocampus and amygdala were found by performing probabilistic tractography using the DW MRI scan. Probabilistic tractography was performed using an algorithm that computes probabilistic streamlines through each voxel. The weighted average FA is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Even though we do not get to choose our identity, one needs to be appreciative of their identity. In the novel The Human Stain by Phillip Roth, Coleman Silk s actions show that he is losing his identity. Coleman Silk is a man that made irrational decisions in his life, such as making a racial comment while teaching, lying about his race, and having an affair. In all, he was trying to find a new identity in search for power. As results of his life decisions, Coleman Silk lost his original identity that would dwell on him forever. It all started when professor Coleman Silk was lecturing in class; and he called two absent students spooks . As there were still two names that failed to elicit a response by the fifth week into the semester, Coleman, in the sixth week, opened the session by asking, Does anyone know these people? Do they exist or are they spooks? (Roth 6). Resulting in Coleman getting verbally attacked by the board, for making a racist phrase spooks . In the end the spooks racists phrase precedes to Coleman Silk s resignation. Having to leave his job as a professor and Dean of the faculty, he lost a chunk of his original identity. In the story, Carter and Jane s mother marries Buzz and Vanessa s father. A terrible storm washes Dexter and Joe out to sea on the life raft and leaves the children alone on a sinking boat. This story fits in with our habitat unit because it is a survival story. People have to survive in their habitats, just like animals do. So, what do you think would happen if you were picked up and dumped into an unknown habitat, like a tropical island, or a desert, or in the middle of a huge old forest? With no adults, just you and your brothers and sisters. Could you survive? (Let the question linger a few seconds). I m going to count down from 10 and when I hit zero I want to see groups of three standing back to back waiting for instructions. Go. (When students are ready proceed). When I say, go I want you to turn and face your partners and discuss exactly what you three would need to do right away to stay alive if you were stranded together in the wild. Remember what we have learned about what organisms need to survive. I have set the timer for five minutes. Go. (When timer goes off, bring students back to a full group on the rug). I heard a lot of great ideas as I walked around the room. Well done! Now, as I read the story to you, I want you to take special notice of what these children do to survive. • 31. 1080 Is A New Zealand s Largest Environmental Debate Essay 1080 is arguably New Zealand s largest environmental debate dating back to the first time was widely used in New Zealand back in 1957. 1080 is the shortened name for Sodium Fluoroacetate and is a poison that is mixed into baits that are then used to control a large range of introduced pests like possums, stoats and rats in New Zealand. Without controlling these pests the New Zealand native bush and native species would be decimated. 1080 is a very effective poison and it is reported by The Department of Conservation (DOC) that 1080 kills approximately 98% of possums and 90% of rats in the targeted drop area. 1080 is dropped on targeted areas via helicopter to ensure that it is not dropped anywhere it shouldn t be. 1080 costs approximately $17 per hectare according to the DOC website. New Zealand imports 80% of the total amount of 1080 produce in the world. How does 1080 work? 1080 works by once it is eaten by the animal it deactivates many enzymes however the important enzyme that it deactivates is aconitase this is the enzyme that is important in the Krebs cycle that converts food into energy. The Krebs cycle is the metabolic pathway that is used by all aerobic organisms to produce ATP. ATP is important as it is the energy that is used in the body to do pretty much everything. So when the animal cannot produce ATP the bodily systems begin to shut down. This means that the animal will starve to death therefore it is not a very nice way to die and it can take up to 40 hours ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Although this is a nice option to have, many Soldiers and leaders still choose not to stay any longer than their one year obligation. As I see it the only way to get Soldiers and leaders to stay is to make them stay. To develop a proper way ahead and remain flexible to change as needed throughout the process, Kotter s eight step approach to change would allow for a good strategy rather than plan to allow for the Army to accomplish this mission. The first step on Kotter s approach is to develop a sense of urgency; just like most things in life, if you re not being pushed by someone of something to accomplish a task than you will wait and it may not get done to standard or at all. Step one, I would decide on a date that we would start implementing the normal accompanied tour and send out a MILPER message across the entire force to all active duty personnel s email. I would stress that we are transitioning back to the longer tour to enhance readiness and detour any aggressions from North Korea.
