of time.
 Warranty Period:
the length of time under which the piece of

the length of time for which the piece of equipment
is expected to function before being replaced.

At JESS we have the following policies in place for the
purchase, maintenance and replacement of Switches:
 Depreciation: ‘straight-line’ over 4 years
 i.e. the value of the switch on the accounts reduces
by 25% a year.
 Warranty: come with a 2Year warranty
 But we will purchase a care pack (extended
warranty) for years 3 to 8
 Replacement: after 8 years.
