Using personalization to create next generation performance supportXyleme
When training content moves from large courses to semantically rich nuggets of information, you can create a whole host of specialized, next-generation performance support apps that deliver personalized, bite-sized learning to employees at the moment-of-need on the device of their choice. But getting there is not easy.
In the "how-to" part of this session, you will learn how to think about learning as an app-driven experience rather than a course-driven one, how to develop content that drives relevance and flows seamlessly across devices, and how to match user profiles and behavior to content to drive personalized recommendations. In the "here it is" part of this session, you will see how Dunkin' Brands supports more than 7,000 US restaurants through contextual performance support web portals and mobile apps that deliver relevant moment-of-need procedural information as well as enabling real-time operational audits. This is not your grandfather's performance support!

GT Briefing May 2014: The new generation of learners presentationTracey Keys
Education is a basic need. Economic and social development depends on it; the ability for individuals to reach their full potential depends on it; business success depends on it.
Disruptive forces are already changing the landscape of education as traditional face-to-face learning moves towards virtual and interactive learning, However, educational institutions – whether primary, secondary or tertiary – need to step out of their comfort zones to reflect an increasingly complex world. Constantly developing technology, the mindsets of the new digital natives and future skills challenges demand radical shifts both in educational content and delivery.
So what will it take to reshape the education “industry” and prepare our educational systems and institutions for the future – in fact, who should the educators be?
This short presentation accompanies the GT Briefing May 2014: Preparing for a new generation of learners and workers.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The pandemic has turned our world upside down and made many of us have to examine what was most important in our lives and in what we have been trying to achieve in schools.
Focus on learning and all our well being so we can make sure they are able to carry on
At Habs we focussed on communication so we could maintain and develop our relationships
Please share in the chat so others can benefit form you successes and I’ll be able to add these into the guide for Developing Digital
This guide was developed as a response to a survey carried out in over 1,000 schools in the uk which showed that only 33% of schools felt they were getting value from their investment in IT and only 33% felt could guarantee they were safeguarding their data and pupils.
Huge range of resources we have been involved in creating.
The pandemic was testament to what people are able to achieve during a crisis. There are so many sectors of our communities whose outstanding work has reduced the impact. Teachers and this e in education stand out as significantly and we must Celebrate the successes.
The Devolping Digital Guide was launched at an event on the 30th June this year and these are some of the educators who were involved sharing their stories of why this guide will be so valuable to schools and talking about their contributions.
Here are some stories from great educators after COVID. Sharing how they are now developing digital and the resources that they have used.
Here are many of the stories from great educators of how they are developing digital and the resources that they have used.
