How Effective Is The Combination Of
Your Main Product And Ancillary
Text?
Through out my teaser trailer, poster and magazine, I
used the same colour scheme of black and a fusion of
purple blue, this was done because the colour black
is used in horror and the fusion of purple and blue is
used for comedy this help put a link between the
ancillary texts.
Another thing I did was to always change the
font of the word ‘Zombie’ and differentiate it
from the words on each of my media products
by doing this I hoped to relate all my media
products. Also, even though the word ‘zombie’ is
different in each product, the colour Red is seen
throughout which also link them as a brand
The chosen image I used for my magazine and
poster came from a scene of my teaser trailer by
doing I hoped that it would give my three media
products a stronger bond and also making my
target audience relate all three products togteher.
In my magazine and poster you can see that I gave the image
both red eyes this give the poster and magazine a link as it a
strong effect to do because it really noticeable and is hard for
someone to forget the red eyes, so when someone looks at
the poster then later on the magazine they can recall the
poster having the same eyes and relate them. I gathered this
from audience feedback, this make a strong marketing
campaign
I would say the combination of my main product
and ancillary text is very effective as you can see
a very strong ling between them, according to
the feedback , people said they could clearly see
that all three product are linked and this would
make a very strong marketing campaign

How effective is the

  • 1. How Effective Is The Combination Of Your Main Product And Ancillary Text?
  • 2. Through out my teaser trailer, poster and magazine, I used the same colour scheme of black and a fusion of purple blue, this was done because the colour black is used in horror and the fusion of purple and blue is used for comedy this help put a link between the ancillary texts.
  • 3. Another thing I did was to always change the font of the word ‘Zombie’ and differentiate it from the words on each of my media products by doing this I hoped to relate all my media products. Also, even though the word ‘zombie’ is different in each product, the colour Red is seen throughout which also link them as a brand
  • 4. The chosen image I used for my magazine and poster came from a scene of my teaser trailer by doing I hoped that it would give my three media products a stronger bond and also making my target audience relate all three products togteher.
  • 5. In my magazine and poster you can see that I gave the image both red eyes this give the poster and magazine a link as it a strong effect to do because it really noticeable and is hard for someone to forget the red eyes, so when someone looks at the poster then later on the magazine they can recall the poster having the same eyes and relate them. I gathered this from audience feedback, this make a strong marketing campaign
  • 6. I would say the combination of my main product and ancillary text is very effective as you can see a very strong ling between them, according to the feedback , people said they could clearly see that all three product are linked and this would make a very strong marketing campaign
