How effective is your main product and ancillary tasks?
Within all of my products i wanted to
ensure that they were all successful to
a high standard, so I had to make sure
that i carried over each important
asset.This creates a stronger and
much better link between the different
promotional forms and would create a
strong aid to the audience allowing
them to link each product therefore
making them a much more effective
product over all.
Our chosen film title “fragmented” can be seen in all of the products
keeping the font the same as well as any lighting effects and
detail effects. I did this to the products as it made the film much
more as a product and a promotional tool in itself as it is exactly
the same on each product to make the audience aware that the
products are advertising the same film.The font style we used fit
the part perfectly as it fit the shattered/fragmented effect of the
mind of our protagonist as he tries to re-build his broken mind
from PTSD and loosing his fiancée, which again helps with linking
the products.

Throughout my products I have been able to link key images and props to ensure I
create a sense of synchronicity between each type of promotional tool.An
example of this is the pistol seen in the poster that is seen throughout the trailer,
this was shown to display the narrative in both of these.The gun creates a sense
of attack, letting the audience know that action is going to take place whilst rising
questions as to why he has the gun and who he will use it on adding to the code of
enigma which ultimately makes the these advertisement products effective on
the viewers as they become intrigued where they look deeper into the themes of
the film.To make sure that I kept continuity I tried to ensure that my ancillary
products matched the costumes in the trailer to ensure that the character is easily
identifiable, his face is always visible in all the promotional materials.
From the images that I have picked out form the
trailer for “Fragmented” there are clear
themes that can be identified, danger, pursuit
and love with a hint of sadness. Every theme
outlined I have managed to portray in each
media product and from these I think it
increases the finer details increasing in interest
across all platforms of promotional material.
By ensuring that there are several similar
themes through these products it creates a
better connection allowing them to
successfully compliment one another creating
a greater impact on the audience.
