that people use to tell their political
and cultural time of day. It is a
compass they use to find
themselves on the map of human
geography. It tells them where they
are but, more importantly, what they
must be.

This lesson present the development of
Philippine government of pre- history to the
modern era. Furthermore, it will educate
students how Filipinos participate under Spanish
rule to American administration to the present
republic.
At the end of this lesson, the student are able
to:
1. Explain the roles and powers of the
Philippines president.
2. Analyze how contemporary Philippines
president exercised their powers.
3. Analyzed the Philippines president’s exercise
of power.

presidential election last May 2016 through earning the
sympathy of the Filipino people through his frugal lifestyle
and simple way of living.
Mr. Duterte becomes one of the most popular personality
not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all
around the world after launching his controversial anti-
illegal drug campaign.
