Front Desk Receptionist for the Business Science and Economic& Workforce Development Division at
Saddleback College (Jan, 2015 – Present)
I am the front desk receptionist for the Accounting, Business, Computer Information Management, and
Real Estate departments. I maintain the department’s directory lists and the staff and faculty’s office hours. I
communicate effectively with multiple departments and am entrusted to manage the office in the supervisor’s
absence. I provide timely, courteous and knowledgeable responses to information requests as well as screen
and transfer calls. I take care of general office duties, sort incoming mail, supply inventory, and compile class
schedule information for display.
Project Specialist at Saddleback College (Oct-Nov 2014) Temporary position
I worked in the business science and economic workforce development division for the IMC Lab. In this
position I was responsible for supervising multiple students using the computers as well as contacting CMS
regarding any printing or money issues concerning the print and copy machines. I was accountable for loaning
out textbooks to students while in the lab and maintained necessary communication with supervisor when
needed. I handled any incoming phone calls and helped to direct students to correct class rooms. I also
assisted students with homework or projects in the Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access programs.
2. U.S. Navy (2008 to 2010) Portsmouth, VA
I handled multifaceted clerical tasks (e.g., data entry, filing, records management, supply inventory and
orders) as the assistant to the manager. I maintained databases and ensured the accountability of over 200
personnel. I also organized the maintenance of the department's printers/fax/copiers. Quickly became a
