Around 100 people die each year in New Zealand from work-related accidents, with farming, forestry, manufacturing and construction accounting for 70% of deaths. It outlines responsibilities for employers, employees, contractors and principals to ensure a safe workplace. Common hazards on farms include tractors, ATVs, other machinery, animals and trees.
