A. PENGERTIAN PERLENGKAPAN KANTOR
Perlengkapan kantor adalah barang-barang yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan suatu pekerjaan kantor sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Tujuan kantor tidak akan tercapai tanpa adanya perlengkapan kantor. Perlengkapan kantor yang baik, akan memperlancar proses suatu pekerjaan sehingga pencapaian tujuan dapat dicapai secara efektif dan efisien.
Jenis-jenis perlengkapan kantor, meliputi perbekalan kantor, mesin-mesin kantor, peralatan kantor, perabot kantor, interior kantor atau perhiasan kantor.
Kegunaan perlengkapan kantor
1. untuk menunjang aktivitas pekerjaan kantor
2. mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pelaksanaan keg. Kantor
3. memperoleh hasil yang lebih maksimal
4. sebagai aset dan pelengkap kantor
B. JENIS-JENIS PERLENGKAPAN KANTOR
Perlengkapan kantor
Perlengkapan kantor adalah barang-barang yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan suatu pekerjaan kantor yang sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Perlengkapan kantor mencakup semua barang yang diperlukan baik barang bergerak maupun barang tidak bergerak.
1. Barang tidak bergerak misalnya : tanah, gedung dan bangunan.
2. Barang bergerak :
a) Barang tidak habis pakai
Barang-barang yang dapat dipakai berulang kali dan tahan lama dalam pemakaiannya. Misalnya perabot kantor, peralatan kantor, mesin-mesin kantor dan lain-lain.
b) Barang habis pakai
Barang-barang yang hanya dapat dipakai sekali dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan kantor, ini mengadung arti barang tersebut tidak harus habis tanpa meninggalkan bekas. Misalnya map, tinta, blangko surat pesil dan lain-lain.
C. Jenis-jenis perlengkapan kantor
1. Perbekalan kantor (office suplies) (office suplies) yaitu benda-benda yang akan habis pemakainnya sehari-hari di kantor. Benda ini biasanya digunakan untuk kegiatan tulis menulis dan biasanya tidak tahan lama. Pengertian habis bukan berarti tidak ada bekasnya numun bisa masih ada tapi tidak dapat digunakan kembali.
2. Peralatan kantor (office appliences) adalah segenap alat yang digunakan dalam pekerjaan tata usaha. Misalnya alat-alat bukan mesin, atk.
3. Mesin-mesin kantor (office machine) segenap alat yang digunakan untuk menghimppun, mencatat, mengolah bahan-bahan keterangan dalam pekerjaan tata usaha yang bekerja secara maknetik, elektronik dan mekanik.
4. Perabot kantor (office furniture) yaitu benda-benda kantor yang umumnya terbuat dari baha yang kuat seperti kayu atau baja yang digunakan untuk pekerjaan tata usaha.
5. Hiasan kantor (office ornament) yaitu benda-benda kantor pada umumnya untuk menambah suasana menyenangkan di kanator.
6. Perabot kantor tempelan (office fixture) yaitu perabot yang telah melekat menjadi satu dengan bangunan lain di kantor. Misalnya lemari yang telah menjadi satu dengan gedung, rak buku yang menempel di dinding.
7. alat bantu peraga yaitu alat-alat yang digunakan untuk membantu kelancaran komunikasi antara penyaji dan pendengar misalnya tape recorder, LCD, televisi dll.
