Simple monolog by Emma introduces the vocabulary and structure of the unit in a situational context Sticker & Coloring activity has students either put the stickers or color the main vocabulary items in the main picture. Fun Song & Speaking activity provides an exciting opportunity for students learn the target structure and vocabulary of the unit.
- 9. Student Book Lesson2 Review song allows students to produce the learned vocabulary and structure. Short reading presents the structure and vocabulary in a new context. Preparation activity helps students get ready for speaking task with drawing, stickers, coloring, and more. Speaking task requires students to share information about part A with a partner.
- 10. Student Book Lesson3 Comic-book style story lets students follow the main characters in amusing situations and introduces the unit’s secondary vocabulary set and structure. Comprehension activity checks students’ understanding of the story and focuses on the key vocabulary and structure. Picture-based sub-situation drill provides practice using the second set of vocabulary items and structure. More colorful images introduce the second six vocabulary items to students.

Cross-curricular learning (CLIL) and engaging colorful images are featured with a magazine-style presentation. Comprehension activity with visual images checks students’ understanding and reinforces new vocabulary.

Writing activity helps students get ready for writing their own ideas with given sentences. Students can plan their project on the portfolio worksheet in the Workbook later on. Phonics activity builds the students’ spelling skills and ability to sound out single letters after learning exciting chants.
