Creative thinking involves generating many ideas rather than just one, allowing wild ideas, not judging early, doing activities like doodling to spark ideas, and learning from mistakes. Some techniques include brainstorming topics, asking the same question in different ways, combining ideas, and being open to new stimuli to influence thinking. Critical and creative thinking can be combined, as important innovations emerged from not trying too hard to find answers and letting ideas emerge from dreams or daydreams.

Six-Hats Technique
•Many major international organisations use this technique for problem solving
•Each „hat‟ represents a perspective or way of thinking
•They are metaphorical hats that a thinker can put on or take off to indicate the type of thinking they are using
•In a group we can ask members to „put on‟ different hats in a sequence to aide the problem solving process
•This can help overcome the problem of each group member adopting random positions at random times
•It also permits us to control people who insist of sticking to one perspective (ie. negative) -we can ask them to assume a different hat.

We teach brand leaders to think strategically. We show them how to ask the right questions before seeing solutions, how to map out a range of decision trees that intersect and connect by imagining how events will play out. We take them through the 7 elements of good strategy: vision, opportunity, focus, speed, early win, leverage and gateway. We look at strategy from a competitive position, consumer connectivity, core strength and situational

For our Leadership and Change class, we choose a book called "Creative Confidence" by David and Tom Kelley. We assigned for that read from Chapter 1-3 and we must presented this book in 30-45 minutes to discuss about this book and engage with my audience. We required to have two or three class questions and key takeaways that we learned from each chapters on this book. We share our core beliefs that we have thoughts about this book that we applied this to our experiences that we use these leadership skills for any organizations in the future. The presentation is included faith integration and summary key words.
We are all able to think out of the box, Creativity is not limited to some or certain people.
Its just that we should know the difference in different thought processes.
Beyond Brainstorming: Innovation for Everyone (Global Scrum Gathering Singapo...Duncan Campbell
Brainstorming is the intellectual equivalent of grabbing whatever is to hand, throwing it at a target and seeing what hits and sticks. Humans have evolved further than our dung-throwing simian cousins, and so too has our understanding of innovation.
Various efforts have been made to improve brainstorming and idea generation in general.
Genrich Altshuller's Teoriya Resheniya Izobretatelskikh Zadach (TRIZ), or the theory of inventive problem solving, consists of a catalogue of 40 inventive principles, a matrix for resolving contradictions and numerous mental and practical tools that can be successfully employed by anyone to solve any problem innovatively.
TRIZ emerged from a systematic study of patents, other innovations and how innovative people produce innovative solutions. Despite the inventive principles and contradictions leaning heavily towards the physical world, TRIZ is applicable to all domains including software, people and not just the invention of new physical products.
In this session I aim to provide the audience with an introduction to a number of TRIZ tools that they will be able to apply immediately to any problem-solving scenario, not just when thinking of product backlog items or resolving impediments experienced by Scrum teams.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

2. WHAT IS CREATIVE THINKING?
globalstudypass.com | Unit 6
Creative thinking is a technique that helps to generate new ideas.
• Look for many possible answers rather than one.
• Allow yourself to make wild and crazy suggestions as well as those that seem sensible.
• Don’t judge ideas early in the process - treat all ideas as if they may contain the seeds of
something potentially useful.
• Allow yourself to doodle, daydream, or play with an idea or suggestion.
• Be aware that these approaches involve making lots of suggestions that are unworkable and
may sound silly.
• Don’t be afraid to make mistakes and make sure you learn from them.
HIGHER PROJECT
3. globalstudypass.com | Unit 6
• Brainstorm ideas on one topic onto a large piece of paper.
• Don't edit them - just write them down.
• Allow yourself to play with an idea while you go for a walk.
• Draw or paint a notion on paper.
• Ask the same question at least 15 times and give a different answer each time.
• Combine some features of two different objects or ideas to see if you can create several more.
• Change your routine. Do things a different way.
• Let your mind be influenced by new stimuli such as music you do not usually listen to.
• Be open to ideas when they are still new; look for ways of making things work and pushing the
idea to its limits.
• Ask questions such as 'what if….?' or 'supposing….?'.
• Keep an ideas book to hand so you can jot down your ideas straight away.

COMBINE CRITICAL THINKING AND
CREATIVE THINKING
Many important breakthroughs in science and
innovation have resulted from combining critical
thinking and creative thinking.
The answer has often emerged on dreams or
daydreams when the innovator was not trying so
hard to find the answer. One of the best know
examples is Archimedes’ Eureka moment when he
realised the principle of determining volume
through displacement while taking a bath.
