• You’ll know more about your project than the
audience - including your supervisor.
• A lot of questions is a compliment – a sign that your
talk was interesting.
• Don’t plunge into your answer - take a sip of water
to give yourself space to think.
• Don’t bluff - if you don’t know the answer be
honest and say so.
• Keep your answers short.
• Try not to let one person dominate.
