This presentation discusses how circuit-switched digital networks work. It explains that a sender uses a modem to connect to analog local circuits, which then connect to central office switches and digital local circuits. The central office switches work together to route and complete calls through circuit switching. The digital access equipment attached to routers calls the central office switch to initiate a connection, and the central office switch then digitally connects to the destination router and LAN.
