This study investigates the influence of salinity, pH, and dissolved oxygen (DO) on the flocculation of heavy metals during the mixing of Chalus River with the Caspian Sea. The results show varying flocculation rates for metals such as manganese and lead, indicating significant flocculation at lower salinity levels, with flocculation percentages ranging from 24.32% to 76.47%. Overall, the findings highlight the critical role of flocculation in reducing heavy metal concentrations in estuarine environments.
