This document describes a student's school project to clean up their covered court area. The student's goals were to maintain cleanliness, protect the environment, and serve as a role model for their community. They organized a clean-up effort with their schoolmates where they inspected the area, swept and separated trash into biodegradable and non-biodegradable piles. They created a compost pit and designated garbage placement areas. The student was proud to encourage their peers to participate and help make their environment cleaner and safer.

Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

2. In our Covered Court there are plastic
wrappers everywhere dried leaves and trashes
improperly segregated. This is very harmful to
the people ,to the children and to the
environment because this causes pollution that
may harm Mother Earth and this is one reason
why the Ozone Layer is at risk already. As a
concerned youth of today it is my drive to help
in my own little way to help protect our
environment through my own little way and I
believe this project will help a lot..
3. The Goal of my Project is to maintain
the cleanliness of the surroundings
by protecting and saving our crying
Mother Earth from disturbances that
human being has made and I will
help by way of this project in
protecting the place I leave-in for
me and for the next generation.
4. To achieve my goal for this project, I asked
permission from my Adviser- Joselita L.
Retaga and our Principal- Teresita V.
Coquia so that my schoolmates will be
given a chance to participate in this
project that will be conducted at our
Covered Court at Barangay Cabuynan,
Tanauan, Leyte and I did take my role as
Group Leader in doing the activity.
5. › First, we inspected the place and prepared the
needed equipments needed for the clean-up drive.
› Second, we clean by sweeping the area where
plastic wrappers, dried leaves and other trashes
found in the place using hard brooms, sacks that
will serve as the material for gathering the
scattered trashes.
› Third, we apply the segregation process by
separating the biodegradable and non-
biodegradable, and we come up with an idea of
digging a hole that will serve as a compost pit.
› Finally, we place the sacks in a designated or
ideal place so that the community will have an
idea of how to throw their garbage and trashes
properly.
6. After an exhausting and perspiring efforts of my
schoolmates and myself it was a realization that
being a student I can do my share in making our
environment clean and safe by way of simple
activities like this. I am humbled and proud that I
made a very good practice in encouraging my
fellow youths to be role model to the community
through this project.
