1. INTRODUCTION
Environment is a place where humans as well as plants and animals live. Keeping it
clear and neat is our responsibility. It is necessary to keep our environment clean
because we get fresh air, reduce pollution etc. An unclear environment leads to a bad
condition of a society, arrival of diseases and many more.
With the ever increasing use of technology and industries flourishing the amount of
pollution in our environment is increasing at a rapid place. Keeping our environment
clean is a very important part of our lives in these days. It is important to focus on this
as we have to make sure that the environment is preserved for future generations.
Water pollution and litter are considered to be two of the main cause of the
environment being dirty. People most of the time throw litter accumulates and
transforms into huge garbage.
What did you get from the cleaning process:
Cleaning was a good inspiration for me and it brings a unity in the students.
Throughout the day we experienced the unity and co-operation among us. We
understood that the community spirit and sharing our thoughts in a different level and
also this provide as a good habit of the punctuality of hardworking.
From this, we learned if we are working or doing any activity we can gain the, things,
we can reach our goal, and also this day taught us the value and the important day
taught us the value and the importance of the environment, and to love the nature we
experienced that we all are the part of the nature.
The importance of campus cleaning:-
A college or university is above all, a place to study and learn if the physical
environment is not attractive one. Then studying and learning become less pleasant and
students grades suffer as a result, Even the search for funding may be adversely
affected by a disorderly campus.

2. What is involved in keeping the campus clean:
 Disposing of garbage and rubbish in waste disposal containers
 Moving the lawn
 Trimming the grass around the borders
 Raking the fallen leaves
 Taking care of the gardens and trees, keeping the plants well trained and
watered and free of weeds, insects and diseases that make them look unsightly.
Report on campus cleaning at Mar Severious College
On August 31, 2016 the students of Mar Severious College of Teaching
education, under the guidance of the Principal and teachers took and initiative to free
the campus, surroundings from the accumulating wastes. Taking a small step the
students removed the wastes from the college premises so that it may be recycled or at
the very least be better disposed off. With zest and zeal, the enthusiastic volunteers
stived the campus cleaning venture to success through their efforts. The support and co-
operation of the teachers,and non teaching staffs were also worthy.
The students were divided into several groups. And each group chose different areas to
clean. Each group compressed of 1 year B.Ed, II year B.Ed and M.Ed Students.
Disadvantages
 When green cleaning products are used for cleaning, the chemicals are less harsh,
meaning that the time used to clean world be longer.
 Cleaning product manufactures are not required to list all of the ingredients on
thee label. So there could be false ingredients or lacking ingredients on the label.
 Buying commercial green cleaning products cost more than buying the normal,
harmful products.
 Occassionally, there will be green cleaners that leave damp surface that can form
mold or intolerable odors.

3. How will protect our environment
Plant trees: We should plant trees in our society or we can also adapt any tree and take
care of that. Trees will help in controlling the pollution at least a little bit. Having lots of
trees in our society will help us have a fresh air for us and our future. We can inspire
others to follow the track and save the city and environment.
Be- Ecofriendly: Restore water use eco-friendly things, do not dump electronic gadgets
etc by eco friendly by using bicycle instead of cars that make a lot of noise and increase
pollution.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of cleaning:-
Advantages :
Green cleaning is beneficial to our planet and is great for safe guarding the health of the
users of the cleaning products. Natural ingredients help significantly cut down on the
amount of eye and skin irritation, and allergic reactions.
Green cleaning manufactures are on the rise. Therefore, the availability of green
cleaning products is increasing.
The cost of using natural ingredients to create cleaning products is lower than buying
regular, chemical- filled products since the ingredients are mainly house hold items.
When utilizing green cleaning products, there is no petroleum being used.
