Brief who I am and what I do, hello ----- Meeting Notes (08/04/16 00:29) ----- Mention that first b2b partner workshop and very honored to be here today Have picked the theme of events as it impacts everyone that is attending. Hopefully one day I'll be allowed back so if there are any other topics you'd like to hear about then please let me know at the end of the session
  2. Longevity of content – called ‘evergreen’ – so these are the pieces of content that live on, your video (on website or on channel), your blog or your infographic
  3. So to start can we all put a big smile on our faces and do some thumbs up or enthused gestures
  4. ----- Meeting Notes (08/04/16 01:12) ----- What channels do you use now? What channels have you used in the past? What channels have you found to be most succesful? We will talk about the most popular content formats - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use other forms!

The middle is where the action happens, the central plot, the detail unfolds The end is the conclusion, we wrap things up, and sometimes we leave a cliff hanger ready for part 2 (or 7 if you are Harry Potter)

Images and videos are your original content Getting people involved at your events will increase levels of engagement Get testimonials Film short clip questions that you can use to promote a blog Get clips of people saying how they found your talk useful ready to promote your next event Get your event filmed and then turn it into a mini series Use your event images with captions over them to share key themes and ideas Candid photos Set up images/ behind the scenes Photo collage – everyone loves a montage Selfie collection
  15. Blogging ideas and evergreen content GROUP EXERCISE – 10 minutes - Events are your touch points with your customers/ audience. There is no element that goes to waste. Even if you don’t have time to use everything that you’ve gathered this time around store it. Especially the questions that you have been asked. Yes, its ideal to post content immediately and to answer everyones tweets, but sometimes it just isn’t possible .So bank them, write down what you were asked and use this to create amazing content in the future.
