the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe,
and Everything was calculated by an enormous
supercomputer named Deep Thought over a period of 7.5

1. ID X
CIH, also known as X or Spacefiller, is a Microsoft Windows computer
virus which first emerged in 1998. The virus was created by Chen Ing-hau
who was a student in Taiwan. 60 million computers were believed to be
infected by the virus internationally, resulting in an estimated $1 billion US
dollars in commercial damages. The virus made a comeback in 2001 when
a variant of the LoveLetter Worm that contained the CIH virus was
circulated around the internet, under the guise of a nude picture
of Jennifer Lopez.

X is a volunteer effort to digitize and archive cultural works, to
"encourage the creation and distribution of eBooks". It was founded in
1971 by Michael S. Hart and is the oldest digital library. Most of the
items in its collection are the full texts of public domain books. X tries to
make these as free as possible, in long-lasting, open formats that can be
used on almost any computer. As of 3 October 2015, X reached 50,000
items in its collection.

We would like to express our concern and draw your attention towards the manner in
which X, Founder and CEO of Y, was arrested and the alleged influence including
harassment by the concerned officials.
Although we do not wish to prejudge to the matter, the Y case and it's locked up founder
underscore the hardships of being an entrepreneur in India. If ever there's a right to be
an entrepreneur, that's clearly been violated. Period. X started getting pressurized to
confess to "a crime" he never committed. His refusal to confess to a crime he never
committed only made the things worse for him. We are standing up together as a
community and believers in the vision of Honble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi for
"Startup India. Stand-up India" to call for a free and fair investigation into the dispute
and strongly oppose any abuse of power to subvert the law of land.

X (formerly known as Firstouch) is a
multi-lingual mobile operating system
based on Android. In India, the operating
system has gained popularity, ranking
above iOS & Windows and only
behind Android. This is credited as
world’s first regional Operating System
made especially for the regional language
users. The operating system has its own
app market place called App Bazaar.

In game theory, X is a type of non-zero-sum game in which two
players attempt to maximize their own payoff, without any
concern for the other player's payoff. The game was formulated in
1994 by Kaushik Basu and goes as follows: (on next slide)

An airline manager is tasked to settle the claims of two travellers who have lost their
suitcases, which looked identical. The airline is liable for a maximum compensation of $100
per suitcase.
The manager separates both travellers so they can't confer, and asks them to write down the
value of their suitcase at no less than $2 and no larger than $100. He tells them that if both
write down the same number, he will treat that number as the true value of both suitcases
and reimburse both travelers that amount. However, if one writes down a smaller number
than the other, this smaller number will be taken as the true dollar value, and both travelers
will receive that amount along with : $2 extra will be paid to the traveler who wrote down
the lower value and a $2 deduction will be taken from the person who wrote down the
higher amount. The challenge is: what strategy should both travelers follow to maximize his
value?

Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf are fondly known as the Fathers of the
Internet. They are credited with the creation of a communication
protocol which is fundamental to how the internet works.
This protocol follows two layer methodology. The higher layer
manages the assembling of a message or file into smaller packets that
are transmitted over the internet. The lower layer handles
the address part of each packet so that it gets to the right destination.

It was one of the first social networking websites in the format now seen today. X

short sci-fi. It appears in the

TERMINOLOGY
This term first appeared in fiction in the 1980s in the work of
science fiction author William Gibson, first in his 1982 short
story "Burning Chrome" and later in his 1984 novel
Neuromancer. It refers to "the notional environment in which
communication over computer networks occurs.“ The word
became popular in the 1990s when the use of the Internet,
networking, and digital communication were all growing
dramatically and the term X was able to represent the many new
ideas and phenomena that were emerging.

engineering. It started as an in-house development in 1977 by

Initially developed by Donald Chamberlin and Raymond Ray in the
early 1970s, X is a domain-specific language used in programming
and designed for managing data held in a database management
systems. X became a standard of the American National Standards
Institute (ANSI) in 1986, and of the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO) in 1987. Since then, the standard has been
revised to include a larger set of features.

X is a storage device that uses magnetic storage to store and

disks coated with magnetic material. The platters are paired

This is a 2013 stop-motion animated short film released on YouTube.
One minute in length, it was made by moving carbon
monoxide molecules viewed with a scanning tunneling microscope, a
device that magnifies them 100 million times. These two-atom
molecules were moved to create images, which were then saved as
individual frames to make the film. The movie has been recognized by
the Guinness Book of World Records as the World's Smallest Stop-
Motion Film.

In late 1953, John W. Backus submitted a proposal to
develop a more practical alternative to assembly
language. What followed was the development of the
language X. Derived from formula translation, this is a
general-purpose programming language that is
especially suited to numeric computation and scientific
computing.

X project is aimed at designing supercomputers that can reach
operating speeds in the PFLOPS (petaFLOPS) range, with low power
consumption. X systems have often led the TOP 500 and Green
500 rankings of the most powerful and most power efficient
supercomputers, respectively. The project was awarded the
2009 National Medal of Technology and Innovation, United States. As
of 2015, the development of the X family seemed to have ended
though no public announcement has been made. The name X comes
from what it was originally designed to do - help biologists
understand the processes of protein folding and gene development.

A minimalistic, beautifully designed visual puzzle
game with over 360 puzzles spread over 30 chapters.
In the beginning, human beings communicated only
using symbols. Language complicated things.
Suddenly, there were many words to describe the
same idea. X attempts to slowly teach the player to
think visually and uses these learnings to construct
more complicated ideas further into the game. Can

X is a question answering computer system capable of answering
questions posed in natural language, developed by a research team led
by David Ferrucci. The computer system was specifically developed to
answer questions on American television game show Jeopardy!
In 2011, X competed Jeopardy! against former winners Brad
Rutter and Ken Jennings and it received the first prize of $1 million.
The name X is also a popular fictional character who likes to
accompany his mate in his missions.
