The founders were working on a consulting project
for the CIA. The code name for the project was X (the
CIA saw this as the system to give answers to all
questions or some such). The project was designed
to use the newly written SQL database language
from IBM. The project was eventually terminated but
they decided to finish what they started and bring it
to the world. They kept the name X and created the
RDBMS engine. Later they changed the name of the
company, Relational Technology Inc., to the name of
the product. Tell me X.
1.

Following shows the meaning of word X, which is
also the name of a famous start up. Id X.
2.
Oculus.
It was originally a slang word in the
nautical realm; sailors used it for any
mechanical object that they did not
have or could not remember the name
of. The etymology of this word is not
settled but many believe it derives
from a French word for a firing
mechanism (gâchette).Tell me this

The X equation is a probabilistic argument used to
arrive at an estimate of the number of active,
communicative extra-terrestrial civilizations in the
Milky Way galaxy. The equation was written in
1961 by Frank X, not for purposes of quantifying
the number of civilizations, but as a way to
stimulate scientific dialogue at the first scientific
meeting on the search for intelligent extra-
terrestrial life (SETI). Give me X.

X is a ten-year initiative with $100 million funding begun
in July 2015 to actively search for intelligent extra-
terrestrial communications in the Universe, in a
substantially expanded way, using resources that had not
previously been extensively used for the purpose. It has
been described as the most comprehensive search for
alien communications to date. Mark Zuckerberg, Yuri
Milner and Stephen Hawking are among notable people
involved. The scope and power of the search are on an
unprecedented scale. They could detect a 100 watt laser
(the energy of a normal household bulb) from 25 trillion
miles away. Tell me X.

who were students at University of California, Berkeley,
and Mukherjee, who worked at a London-based
internet consulting firm called Viant. X works by
analyzing the captured sound and seeking a match
based on an acoustic fingerprint in a database of more
than 11 million songs. X can identify pre-recorded
music being broadcast from any source, such as a
radio, television, cinema or music in a club, provided
that the background noise level is not high enough to
prevent an acoustic fingerprint being taken, and that
the song is present in the software's database. Tell me

X, an American semi-secret research-and-
development facility founded by Google in January
2010, it operates as a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc. X
its headquarters about a half mile from Google's
corporate headquarters, the Googleplex, in Mountain
View, California.
Work at X is overseen by entrepreneur scientist Astro
Teller, as CEO and "Captain of Moonshots". The lab
started with the development of Google's self-driving
car.
On 2 October 2015, after the complete restructuring
Google into Alphabet, the company was renamed to
X. Id.

X, also designated Alpha Orionis, is the ninth-
brightest star in the night sky and second-
in the constellation of Orion. It would be the
brightest star in the night sky if the human eye
could view all wavelengths of radiation. If X were
explode transiting from the red super giant stage
to supernova then our sky would light
for two months. In the popular science fiction
series The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by
Douglas Adams, Ford Prefect was from “a small
planet somewhere in the vicinity of X”. Tell me X.
3.
X Inc. is an American privately held application performance
management (APM) and IT Operations Analytics (ITOA) company
based in San Francisco. The company focuses on managing the
performance and availability of applications across cloud computing
environments as well as inside the data center. In
2017, Cisco announced its intends to acquire X for $3.7 billion
4.
X is an Indian entrepreneur, sometimes referred to
as the ‘bad boy of Indian start-ups’. X founded Y
for which X was included in Forbes India list of ’30
under 30’ young entrepreneurs. Y was named one
of the hottest tech start-ups in 2012. In June 2015,
X was fired by the company board of Y, citing X’s
“behaviour towards investor, ecosystem and
media”. X came in limelight after X donated shares
worth Rs. 200 crores to Y’s 2,251 employees.
5.
Recently an Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright came
forward as "Satoshi Nakamoto," the unknown creator of
the X, but now he has backtracked in a dramatic fashion.
He wrote in a blog post that he does not "have the
courage" to publish additional proof, as he promised
Wednesday, that he is the elusive creator of X. X can be
mined by using a certain computer algorithm and has the
highest evaluation amongst its competitors ,it has a
worldwide user base which once looked promising but
now its future is uncertain . What in the world are we
talking about ?
6.
X is partly modeled on inventor Auguste Piccard (1884–
1962), its creator stated in an interview that X is a
reduced scale Piccard, as the real chap was very tall. He
had an interminable neck that sprouted from a collar that
was much too large... I made Y a mini-Piccard, otherwise I
would have had to enlarge the frames of the cartoon
strip. The Swiss physics professor held a teaching
appointment in Brussels when its creator spotted his
unmistakable figure in the street. Piccard was famous for
his balloon ascensions and so was X. What is X and where
can one find him ?
7.
X developed by Curt Herzstark. The X’s design is a
descendant of Gottfried Leibniz's Stepped
Reckoner and Charles Thomas' Arithmometer, accumulating
values on cogs, which are added or complemented by
a stepped drum mechanism. It has an extremely compact
design: a small cylinder that fits in the palm of the hand.
Herzstark, the son of a Catholic mother and Jewish father,
was taken into custody in 1943, eventually finding himself at
the Buchenwald concentration camp. Ironically, it was in the
concentration camp where he was encouraged to continue
his earlier research hence X literally helped him save his life.

The company X was formally established in 2006, a
time when Jimmy Iovine & Andre Romelle Young
perceived two key problems in the music industry:
the impact of piracy in music sales and the
substandard audio quality provided by Apple’s
plastic earbuds. Iovine later recalled that Andre
said to him : “Man, it's one thing that people steal
my music. It's another thing to destroy the feeling
of what I worked on.”Gimme X.

Legend has it that the bark of the fever tree was first used by the
Spanish in the early 1630s when it was given to the Countess of
Chinchon, who had contracted malaria (known colloquially as the
'fever') whilst living in Peru. The Countess recovered and the healing
properties of the tree were discovered. However, the healing power
of this remarkable tree only became world renowned in the 1820's
when officers of the British Army in India, in an attempt to ward off
malaria, mixed the extract from the bark of the fever-tree with sugar
and water, creating the first Indian Tonic Water.
It was made more palatable when they added a little expedient of
gin to the mixture. The original gin and tonic was thus born, and
soon became the archetypal drink of the British Empire, the origins
of which were firmly planted in the fever tree. What is the extract
from the bark of the fever-tree commonly known as?

X, a type of meme, became an internet sensation in
2013. It typically consists of a picture of a Shiba
Inu, accompanied by multicolored text in Comic Sans font
in the foreground. The text, representing a kind of internal
monologue, is deliberately written in a form of broken
English. It became so famous that a crypto currency was
named after it. What in the modern world are we talking

X is a British manufacturer and retailer of luxury, handmade mobile
phones established by Finnish mobile-phone manufacturer Nokia in 1998. In
October 2012 Nokia sold X to private equity group EQT VI for an unspecified
amount, (rumoured to be $200 million),but retained a 10% share. By the end
of 2013, the company had around 350,000 customers, and phones were on
sale in 500 retail outlets, including 70 run by the company. X phones have
been described as "tasteless trash" by Wired Magazine, and "technologically
modest" by the Financial Times. They are often described as bling

1.
The company X was founded by Nick Woodman in
2002. He was motivated by a 2002 surfing trip to
Australia in which he was hoping to capture quality
action photos, but could not because amateur
photographers could not get close enough or buy
quality equipment at reasonable prices hence
coming up with the name X. Founded as
Woodman Labs, Inc, the company eventually
focused on the connected sport genre. It also
developed a quadcopter drone, Karma, released in
October 2016. Gimme X.
2.
Co-founded by former Apple engineers Tony Fadell
and Matt Rogers in 2010, X is a home automation
producer of programmable, self-learning, sensor-
driven, Wi-Fi-enabled thermostats, smoke
detectors, and other security systems. It introduced
the X Learning Thermostat in 2011 as its first
product. The X Protect smoke and carbon
monoxide detector was then introduced in October
2013. After the acquisition of Dropcam, the
rebranded X Cam was introduced in June 2015.
Alphabet Inc. (Google) acquired X for US $3.2
billion in January 2014. Tell us X.
3.
The origin of the X project started at the Interaction
Design Institute Ivrea in Ivrea, Italy. At that time,
the students used a BASIC Stamp microcontroller
at a cost of $100, a considerable expense for many
students. The name X comes from a bar in Ivrea,
where some of the founders of the project used to
meet. The bar was named after X of Ivrea, who
was the margrave of the March of Ivrea and King of
Italy from 1002 to 1014.
4.
As of 2016, the vision of the X has evolved due to
a convergence of multiple technologies, including
ubiquitous wireless communication, real-time
analytics, machine learning, commodity sensors,
and embedded systems . This means that the
traditional fields of embedded systems, wireless
sensor networks, control systems, automation, and
others all contribute to enabling the X. The idea of
X and its name was coined by Kevin Ashton in
1999. According to Gartner, Inc. there will be nearly
20.8 billion devices on the X by 2020. Which next
revolution are we talking about ?

When X was three, his mother remarried and went to live with her new
husband, the Reverend Barnabas Smith, leaving X in the care of his
maternal grandmother. The young X disliked his stepfather and
maintained some enmity towards his mother for marrying him, as
revealed by this entry in a list of sins committed up to the age of 19:
"Threatening my father and mother Smith to burn them and the house
over them”. X was removed from school in his teens for poor
performance after which his mother sent him to work for a farmer. Henry
Stokes, then master at the King's School, persuaded his mother to send
him back to school so that he might complete his education. Motivated
partly by a desire for revenge against a schoolyard bully, he became the
top-ranked student, distinguishing himself mainly by building sundials and
models of windmills. X later joined Trinity college and then never looked
back.
1.
X was Gresham Professor of Geometry and a Surveyor to
the City of London after the Great Fire of London, in which
capacity he appears to have performed more than half of all
the surveys after the fire. He was also an important architect
of his time – though few of his buildings now survive and
some of those are generally misattributed – and was
instrumental in devising a set of planning controls for London
whose influence remains today. Allan Chapman has
characterized him as "England's Leonardo". However X is
better known for his early version of compound microscope
and ‘observing cork’
2.
X was an English astronomer, geophysicist ,mathematician
, meteorologist, and physicist who is best known for computing
the orbit of a comet. He was the second Astronomer Royal in Britain,
succeeding John Flamsteed. X spent most of his time on lunar
observations, but was also interested in the problems of gravity. One
problem that attracted his attention was the proof of Kepler's laws of
planetary motion. In August 1684, he went to Cambridge to discuss
this with Isaac Newton. X recognised the importance of the work and
returned to Cambridge to arrange its publication with Newton, who
instead went on to expand it into his Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia
Mathematica published at X's expense in 1687. X is also known for
inventing the diving bell and was first to put up the idea of layered
earth.
3.
X (born 1952) is an Indian-American-British structural biologist of Indian
origin. In 2009 he shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Thomas A.
Steitz and Ada Yonath, "for studies of the structure and function of
the ribosome"
4.
X is a non profit organization founded in 1660 with King Charles
II as its patron. X’s motto 'Nullius in verba' is taken to mean 'take
nobody's word for it'. It is an expression of the determination of
Fellows to withstand the domination of authority and to verify all
statements by an appeal to facts determined by experiment.

Motivated partly by a desire for revenge against a schoolyard bully, he became the top-ranked student, distinguishing himself mainly by building sundials and models of windmills. X later joined Trinity college and then never looked back. 1.

X was Gresham Professor of Geometry and a Surveyor to the City of London after the Great Fire of London, in which capacity he appears to have performed more than half of all the surveys after the fire. He was the second Astronomer Royal in Britain, succeeding John Flamsteed. X spent most of his time on lunar observations, but was also interested in the problems of gravity. One problem that attracted his attention was the proof of Kepler's laws of planetary motion. In August 1684, he went to Cambridge to discuss this with Isaac Newton. X recognised the importance of the work and returned to Cambridge to arrange its publication with Newton, who instead went on to expand it into his Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica published at X's expense in 1687. X is also known for inventing the diving bell and was first to put up the idea of layered earth. 3.
