GDP measures the total monetary value of goods and services produced in a country. GDP per capita divides the total GDP by population to determine the average amount of money each person makes. There are two main ways to measure and compare GDP between countries - GDP at exchange rate (nominal GDP), which converts currencies to USD, and GDP at purchasing power parity (PPP), which accounts for differences in local costs. The Big Mac index uses the price of a Big Mac in different countries to measure differences in PPP. Exchange rates show the value of one currency in terms of another and are used to convert between currencies. Population pyramids graphically display the age and sex distribution of a country's population and can indicate trends like high birth

In this note, we discuss the topic of currency from the perspective of the real estate investor in the region. Currency risk is frequently cited as an important factor when considering a real estate investment in Latin America. Over the past half decade, returns for foreign investments allocated to Latin America have been enhanced by the appreciation of currencies such as the Brazilian real, the Colombian peso, the Chilean peso, and the Peruvian sol.

This is a presentation I made to help explain the current economic situation in the United States and why dollar inflation is inevitable. Attempts to stop inflation are only making it worse. I hope this helps you.
This is a presentation I made to help explain the economic situation to my friends and family. The dollar is in serious trouble and I'm trying to warn people. The most prominent person with this same viewpoint is Peter Schiff. Good luck everyone.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Gdp gross domestic product
1. GDP- Gross Domestic Product
• GDP is how much money a country makes
GDP per capita is the total GDP divided by the population or “the average
amount of money each person makes” “PER CAPITA=PER PERSON”
There are two ways to measure GDP of different countries and compare
them. One way, called GDP at exchange rate (nominal), is when the
currencies of all countries are converted into USD (United States Dollar). The
second way is GDP (PPP) or GDP at Purchasing Power Parity (PPP).
PPP (Purchasing Power Parity) is how much of a local good (like real estate,
labor, or locally grown produce) a person can buy in their country
Nominal is roughly how much of an internationally traded good (diamonds,
DVD players, Snickers bars) a person can buy in their country.
2. Big Mac Index
• The Big Mac index, also known
as Big Mac PPP, is used to measure
the purchasing power parity (PPP)
between nations, using the price
of a Big Mac as the benchmark.
For example, if the price of a Big Mac is $4.00 in the U.S. as
compared to 2.5 pounds sterling in Britain, we would expect
that the exchange rate would be 1.60 (4/2.5 = 1.60).
3. Currency Exchange
Exchange Rate - the value of one currency for the purpose of
conversion to another.
The USD/ 1 unit (foreign currency) figure tells us how to convert one
unit of the foreign currency to the US currency.
The Units/ 1 USD figure tells us how to convert one unit of the US
currency to the foreign currency.
• To convert USD500 to CAD-> USD500 × 1.0219 = CAD510.95
Currency Country Code USD/1 unit Units/ 1 USD
Canadian Dollar CAD 0.9788 1.0219
