Howard Gardner developed a theory of multiple intelligences in
1999.
He believes we have eight different forms of intelligence.
Throughout this power point you can discover all his eight forms
of intelligence.
3. MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE
~Skills in tasks involving music~
~If you can pick up any instrument and
~Play as if you have played it all you life, then
You just discovered you are intelligent in the
Musical part.
~Good examples of musical intelligence are
-drummers
-pianist
-singer
-violinist
4. BODILY KINESTHETIC
INTELLIGENCE
Skills in using the body or various in the
solutions of problems or in the construction of
products or displays, exemplified by dancers,
athletes, actors, and surgeons.
When someone can take on a challenge hands
on and complete their challenge with success then,
you know you have a bodily kinesthetic intelligence.
Most the time you automatically think of an
athlete in this case, but their not alone in this
intelligence you have professional surgeons, actors
and dancers.
5. LOGICAL -MATHEMATICAL
INTELLIGENCE
Skills in problem solving and
scientific thinking.
Known characteristics:
-asks questions about how things
work
- quickly does mental math
- enjoys math activities
- enjoys strategy games
-enjoys logic puzzles or brainteasers
- uses higher-order thinking skills
6. LINGUISTIC
INTELLIGENCE
Skills involved in the
production and use of
language.
Someone with this
intelligence can write well, has
a good memory with dates,
enjoys spoken word, and have
a large vocabulary.
7. SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE
Skills involving spatial
configurations, such as those used by
artists and architects.
This type of intelligence you
memorize pictures to help you to
answer or solve a problem.

8. INTERPERSONAL
INTELLIGENCE
Skills in interacting with
others; you show care for
others, rather be in groups than
alone, you can be verbal, you
have a high degree in social
skills.
You like doing things
collectively.
9. INTRAPERSONAL
INTELLIGENCE
Having knowledge of the
internal aspects of oneself; access
to one’s own feelings and emotions.
Independent is a word to
describe this intelligence; you work
better along, and have self-esteem.
10. NATURALIST
INTELLIGENCE
The ability to identify and
classify patterns in nature.
You know your plants
and animals.
You can observe,
understand and organize
patterns in the nature scene.
