Quality in the past was more related conforming to requirements, in lot of cases as it relates to engineering requirements and not necessarily enthusiastic customer experience. It was a very narrow definition of quality and focused more on Things Gone Wrong. Goal was to reach a level of customer accepted.
Quality definition today is much broader and winning in quality in this highly competitive environment requires deployment game changing quality strategies.
We will discuss how to infuse the voice of the customer into the way we design our products and services so that they exceed customer expectations. Organizations that engage all functions within enterprise and are customer centric will differentiate themselves from the rest of the competition. This presentation will provide an integrated roadmap on how to integrate proactive quality strategies such as Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) along with reactive strategies such as Six Sigma and control plans to achieve organizational excellence.

How do you create the people that must lead after you are gone? How do you prepare subordinates for advancement? How can you insure that you have the depth of personnel you need for the future? This course is focused on developing talent and not hiring talent. If you want to learn how to develop good people, then this class will help you learn the skills needed.
To be a champion, I think you have to see the big picture. It's not about winning and losing; it's about every day hard work and about thriving on a challenge. The purpose of this research paper is to identify why Human Resources (HR) is a change agent in any organization to drive organizational excellence. HR practitioners, as change agents, are responsible for easing the impact of changes in their organization and to empower employees against the consequences of these inevitable changes. Sometimes, the change helps to produce a significant increase in performance excellence and the company can boost sales and production without major additional cost.
Several vital competencies that are reviewed in this paper include how HR practitioners are path creators amongst the path breakers of organizational culture, by being change drivers and business focused. HR practitioners who are unable to function as change agents will inevitably create a barrier against their becoming a well-integrated strategic partner. Therefore, the role of change agent also mediates the relationship between certain HR competencies and organizational performance. This involves monitoring employee engagement and keeping levels high, developing strategies to retain top performers, and continuing to provide value-added services to employees.

The 5 Critical Elements to Creating a Project Management Center of ExcellenceFlevy.com Best Practices
Original article from the Flevy business blog can be found here:
http://flevy.com/blog/the-5-critical-elements-to-creating-a-project-management-centre-of-excellence/
Creating a Project Management Centre of Excellence is the driving force that takes an organization forward to realize their project management mandate. It encompasses the process of creating a strategy for project management, re-shaping the culture to be more focused on the consistency in the management of projects and implementing a project management process.
Creating a Project Management Centre of Excellence
project_management_COEA Centre of Excellence is a business unit that has organization-wide authority. The key elements of a successful Project Management Centre of Excellence include:
Vision and Strategies
A clear vision of what it represents and the strategies to identify how it will reach this vision in the short and long term.
Competencies
The selection of resources based on project competency requirements compared to actual project resource competencies. The identification of coaching, training and other developmental activities to close any competency gap.
Culture
How to re-shape the organizational culture to be more supportive of the consistency in the management of projects.
Processes
The right processes, tools and templates that are helpful and meaningful to project managers and their teams.
Quality
The quality criteria for the project management framework, processes and documents.
1. Create the Vision and Strategies
One approach to creating a vision for the Centre of Excellence is to brainstorm ideas that focus on what the future will look like. Start by creating scenarios that describe what the Centre will be doing 5 years into the future. What are some of the things that they will be doing that reflect a successful Centre of Excellence? What will employees and customers be saying about them? How did they get there?
The outcome of this process is the creation of a vision statement for the Project Management Centre of Excellence. Determine how this vision aligns and supports the organization’s strategic direction.
The alignment of the Centre of Excellence to the goals of the organization is key to driving strategy implementation. Strategies translate this vision into reality. They close the gap between the present and the “ideal” future described in the vision scenarios. These strategies must be described clearly so that the organization understands and accepts them.

International Target Operating Model Design
Chris Oddy
SLIDE 1
• A Plan is only of value if it is successfully implemented
• A good Strategy is important… A Great Operating Model is more beneficial
• A Target Operating Model ensures everyone is aligned and knows what to do
SLIDE 2
What is an Operating Model?
• A breakdown of a business into its key components
• A framework for how an organization operates in terms of people, processes and technology
• A basis for formulating strategy and making informed decisions
What Is a Target Operating Model?
• A structure that dictates how the business should be organized
• A target state informed by strategy and opportunities for optimization
• An operational design that depicts how business objectives will be achieved
• A basis for developing operational improvement and transformation plans
• A framework that enables goal congruence
SLIDE 3
Why is a Target Operating Model Important?
• Without a Target Operating Model operations often evolve and do not fully align to the business vision and strategy
– This approach might work initially, however it has significant associated risk
– Clients and products are added, new markets are entered and acquisitions are integrated.
– People, processes and technologies build and a complicated web of inefficient and ineffective systems and processes is created
• A Target Operating Model based on the business strategy often leads to a significant competitive advantage:
– Faster decision making in areas such as launching new products, services and partnerships
– Improved client service through greater roles and responsibility definition across the organization
– Better investments as they can more easily be assessed and prioritized based on business impact
– Reduced risk from a more controlled and stable operating environment
– Higher colleague engagement and alignment from clearer strategic execution plans
– Greater long-term operational efficiency and optimization
• Businesses without a Target Operating Model typically:
– Deploy increasingly greater resources simply to manage the issue resolution and operational deficiencies.
– Decisions are slow due to the lack of clarity as to how to implement strategies
– Costs of adapting technology and processes increase exponentially
SLIDE 4
Where does the Target Operating Model Fit In?
• A Corporate Strategy must be reflected in a Target Operating Model for the Strategy to be successfully implemented
• The Target Operating Model comes below the vision and corporate strategy and above the operational planning and execution.
• The Target Operating Model can be created in layers
• The Target Operating Model for corporate, country and function level operations must be aligned and congruent with the Corporate Strategy

What ISO Management Systems can learn from Balanced Scorecard?PECB
Balanced Scorecard is a Strategy Management System developed by Professors Kaplan and Norton. It is probably the most comprehensive system/tool in the modern world. It allows an organization balance its Strategy across 4 perspectives (Financial, Customer, Internal Process and Learning and Growth Perspectives). It further lets an organization break down each of these 4 perspectives based on 4 criteria which are Objectives, Measures, Target and Initiatives. There is a lot that ISO Implementers and Auditors need to learn from a Balanced Scorecard that will help in better delivering ISO engagements. This webinar will take a critical look at what is Balanced Scorecard and what ISO Consultants need to know to about it.
Main points covered:
• What is a Balance Scorecard?
• How Balance Scorecard allows organization to balance its Strategy across 4 perspectives (Financial, Customer, Internal Process and Learning and Growth Perspectives)
• How an organization breaks down each 4 perspective based on 4 criteria (Objectives, Measures, Target and Initiatives)

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

21. 5. Integrated Approach to Data Analytics
• 89% of US Businesses are investing in data and data analytics and
41% claim that their systems cannot make sense of large volumes of
data from different sources
• Expanding data:
– Data Volume
– Data Variety
– Data Velocity
• Types of business data – Sales, Marketing, Operational, Quality,
Service, HR
• Factors to be Considered in Big Data Analysis:
– Automation - Analysis and complex computations
– Reproducibility - Analysis results can be reproduced
– Flexibility - Data repository can organically expand & extend
– Robustness - Less error prone
22. 5. Integrated Approach to Data Analytics
• Neither Time or Miles analysis could highlight the underlying failure
mechanism
• Customers opt in to send OEMs hundreds Gb of engineering log data
per day from thousands of vehicles
• Advantages of Big Data Analytics:
– Enable data-driven decision making in field reliability
– Faster decisions made with higher confidence
– Higher impact on service decision
– Higher influence on design targets and testing specs for next
generation vehicles

26. 7. Innovation
Top Innovation Factors in an Organization:
• Culture (employee attitudes & participation)
• Senior Leadership Support (risk/long-term results)
• Capabilities (workforce talent, training, & experience)
• Strategy (alignment to profitable growth & business goals)
• Process (effective methods & tools)
“Research is the transformation of money into knowledge.
Innovation is the transformation of knowledge into money.”
Dr. Geoffrey Nicholson, 3M
(inventor of the Post-It note)
Innovation is the successful conversion of new concepts and knowledge
into products and processes that deliver new customer value in the
marketplace

28. • Genrich S. Altshuller - the Father of TRIZ
• Leading to 3 key discoveries:
1. Problems and solutions were repeated across industries and
sciences
2. Patterns of technical evolution were repeated across industries
and sciences
3. Innovations used scientific effects outside the field where they
were developed

29. 7. Innovation – TRIZ Overview
Trade-off Contradiction Example:
• Number of features of a product increases, power use gets worse
• Number of features of a product increases, size gets worse
• Diversity of services provided to customers gets better, but amount of
training required gets worse
Ideality = S Benefits / (S Costs + S Harm)
30. 7. Innovation
• What functions do I deliver to my customer?
• How can I improve usefulness of my function?
• Do I need the current product / process for that?
• How efficient is my current product / process really?
