Gadwal sari is a handicraft sari woven in the Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana. It is known for its luxurious look with brilliant colors and golden zari designs on the borders depicting figures from Hindu mythology and nature. The sari gained popularity due to centers in Hyderabad and is worn for weddings, festivals, and ceremonies. It is made of light cotton with a contrasting silk pallu and border, and can be worn in both hot and cold weather.

boundaries with Narayanpet, Wanaparthy of Telangana and state boundaries
