• Frustration occur when the individuals are
not able to get rid himself of his tension.

– challenges in fulfilling personal goals and
desires,
– lack of confidence or
– fear of social situations.
External causes
– conditions outside an individual,
• such as a blocked road or
• a difficult task.

• Minor obstacles in our environment
– e.g late for an interview and not finding any
conveyance
– Nurse working with too many demands of
patients.
• Conflict with other people
– E.g people with similar motives
– With same power
• Economic deprivation
– E.g not able to fulfil the desire

taboos
– Laws for students living in hostel
• Personal deficiencies
– E.g limited intelligence
– Sensory deficit
– Physical weakness or illness
