Focus Group
‘How does my magazine looks similar to real life music magazines?’
These responses show that my magazine looks similar to a real life music magazine which proves
that real life conventions have been used. Therefore it appeals to my target audience.
‘Just by looking at the magazine, what genre of music would you think it is?’
The genre of my music magazine is clear to my focus group, which is good as it means that they are
familiar with the genre.
‘What do you think of the colour scheme?’
These responses show that my colour scheme is good and that the colours go well together. This
shows that the colour scheme I have chosen can attract my target audience.
‘Finally, judging the overall success of the magazine, would you buy it?’
This final result, judges how successful my finished product was. They all said that they would buy it
which shows that it is effective to the target audience.

  • 3. ‘What do you think of the colour scheme?’ These responses show that my colour scheme is good and that the colours go well together. This shows that the colour scheme I have chosen can attract my target audience.
  • 4. ‘Finally, judging the overall success of the magazine, would you buy it?’ This final result, judges how successful my finished product was. They all said that they would buy it which shows that it is effective to the target audience.
