2. Focus Group Findings
‘I think this one is the best as it is big and bold,
meaning that it will attract the attention of the
audience easily.
‘ This one is the best as it looks current and
quirky, fitting with the genre of the music. It
also looks sharp and modern which would give
the feel of the magazine a modern feel.
‘ This one is the best as it is unique in the way it
looks and stands out from the other choices
available. It looks different to any other magazine
logo I have seen.
‘ I think this one fits with the genre the most
as it looks electronic and futuristic, this
linking with the genre of music that it will be
associated with.’
4. Focus Group Findings
‘I think this will be the best colour scheme to use as
the two colours contrast therefore making what ever is
in the other colour stand out and draw an audience to
the magazine.’
‘ This is the best colour scheme as the gold makes the
magazine look prestigious and look expensive, showing that
it is a quality product.
‘I think this is the best colour scheme as both colours are
different, both are quite dark but yet seem to have a feel of
professionalism about them.’
‘ This is the best colour scheme as it has a dull colour
contrasting with a vibrant colour, this showing that Club music is
vibrant and exciting and linking with the genre well, it also
makes the magazine look professional.’
5. Conclusion
•
From the feedback I gained I will choose to use the first option for my logo as others believed
that it was big and bold and also had a quirky and modern feel to it, this being something
that I am trying to achieve with my magazine and would hopefully make my magazine stand
out from the others in the current market.
•
Also the colour scheme I will choose to use from the response I gained from my Focus Group
will be the burgundy and black scheme, this appeared to be a favourite of two out of the four
people taking part in my Focus Group. They believed that it looked professional and modern
and colours contrasting each other making certain things standing out from each other and
drawing the audience’s attention.
