An evaluation will be completed each day and a final self-reflection on the outcomes and development of working practices. A bibliography of at least 7 sources for inspiration and research is required, including 2 primary sources from audience research. Project proposal title and date:
Beachcomber (clothing line) – 11/05/2021
Main area of activity:
I will mainly be working in photoshop, to start I will make mock-up designs of my logo on different
items of clothing, such as t shirts, hats, bags, water bottles and face masks, this will go in my
research PowerPoint as an experiment.
I will also be doing photography throughout my project, the first set of photos that will be done I will
take with blank white t shirts, in an area local to me, after this I will use photoshop to put my logo
on each of these t shirts, these will be shown on the website I create.
Rationale:
During the start of the year, when we were working on our music videos – I didn’t have much
knowledge of any adobe software, so it was a challenge to learn premiere pro at the time, but
throughout the project I learnt how to use it to a good level, for example being able to create short
videos using different clips and adding sounds and effect to it, this is something I plan to use in my
projects again.
I have also learnt a lot of photoshop tools from doing the adventure project, I did a lot of animation
and pixel art as well as making a poster, by doing this I have learnt a few more things on
photoshop that I will be able to use in my projects.
Project Concept:
For my project, I will be making an eco-friendly clothing line, I want to create a whole range of
products available to customers, all whilst staying sustainable – this means I will speak about
different materials I can use that have bio degradable values.
I will need to do research on things such as other companies who run a similar clothing line (one
that is eco friendly, and is working on saving the environment by removing plastic from the oceans)
I will look at things like their websites to see how they have had an impact on the environment and
what they do to help, I will adapt some things from their websites and use them for my own.
This will also help me to discover the style I want for my own website, as they all follow similar
themes they will most likely be similar websites, it will make it easier for me to think of things such
as a colour scheme.
I will also be researching bigger companies who have created eco friendly products, such as Nike
or Adidas, this will be a good way to discover a few materials I can use in my own work, and it also
shows me the way that the bigger brands marketed and sold these products as well.

How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
How do you plan to evaluate the work? Reference conducting on-going evaluation (Production
Reflections) and your final self-reflection (Evaluation), analysing your work and its outcomes.
How will this process help developing your working practices as you continue with your
study/media career?
I will complete self-reflection forms every day to show the work that I have been doing, and at the
end of the project I will be doing an evaluation on the full project, this will include what went well
and what could have been improved.
