3. Resources:
Computer (Provided by College and present at home)
A computer will be used for my digital work and for word processing.
Photoshop (Provided by college and present at home)
Photoshop will be used for the creation of my final pieces, my logos, campaign
posters, membership forms and merchandise mockups.
Memory stick for storage of data
To transfer files between home and college I will use my memory stick.
Alternatively I can email word documents to myself, but bigger files such as
those for Photoshop will be too big to be sent over.
Pens/Paper for small notes and ideas generation
During the creation of my pieces if I get any ideas or experiments I can jot them
down on a piece of paper and use it as a reference without detracting from the
Photoshop document.
Images for reference and inspiration
I will need several images to draw influence from and to reference when I cannot
recall certain elements from memory. This may include images of surfing related
things such as surfboards, waves and specific gear. I will use Google Images for
the majority of the pictures I will need.
Fonts
I will require several different fonts for my final pieces that are not installed
already on the computer. I will use the website dafont.com to acquire different
fonts for use in my project.
Mock-up Templates for merchandise
To show off my designs for the merchandise in the correct context I will need
several templates of mock-ups of garments that can show off my designs and
artwork. I can find these for free on redbubble.com and on Google Images.
