Working Title: RIOT clothing. This title will not be changed as I enjoy R1OT CLOTHING
being the name. the name is apart of me and as it is my clothing brand.
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: the purpose of my clothing is to bring quality clothing at a cheaper
price. To achieve this my clothing will be a lower price than usual clothing is so its more
available to more people. This is because not many people are fortunate to be able to buy
high end clothing so I wanted to make some clothing that they can still purchase that isn’t
low quality
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: street/casual wear. The clothing fits more into these category as its not meant for a
certain occasion unless you want to wear it. This gives flexibility for the clothing as you will
be able to wear in at any time as its normal clothing.
What sort of product is it
Content: my product is clothing that people would wear at reasonable cheaper prices. I
would put designs that are original to my own brand. I feel like my designs could be
wearable but not as a high end clothing line so I decided id make it cheaper and more
available to others. The clothing has to backstory to it other than I wanted to make a
clothing brand and use my artwork as the designs
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Research & Planning: in the planning I decided that my plans were going to be original and
include no known characters. I have changed that since then as I wanted to include my
more complex logo which includes known character but I feel like the design goes well on
the back of pieces of clothing. My research helped to see what price range more high end
clothing is and how it looks. This helps to see what prices I should have and see how far I
should go with a design.
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts)
Audience: my primary audience is unisex teenagers as it will appeal more towards them as
its more street/casual wear that teenagers would usually wear in general. My primary social
status is needs driven and psychographic is middle class as my clothing fits both of those
category’s the most and goes well with their style. Although these are primary anyone will
be able to wear the clothing.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: my clothing will not include any offensive material and if I
have a concern that may be offensive I shall research to make sure I have done it correct
for example Japanese lettering to make sure it doesn’t say anything offensive and its says
what it is supposed to. My clothing will not be restricted towards younger people as it will
contain nothing that they cant see/wear for example my clothing will not include things like
swearing, nudity, racism and anything else that shouldn’t be there. My clothing will not
include anything to offend and social groups, ethnicities or any social group as my clothing
is just characters and animals/creatures, which don’t affect any of these. I am using
characters that are well known in one design from multiple different tv shows or character
designs. I will make sure I am able to put these on a shirt by contacting the companys that
own the characters to check if im able to use them. My clothing will be original and will be
significantly different than other clothing.

Fmp proposal

  • 1. Proposal 1 Working Title: RIOT clothing. This title will not be changed as I enjoy R1OT CLOTHING being the name. the name is apart of me and as it is my clothing brand. What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Product’s Purpose: the purpose of my clothing is to bring quality clothing at a cheaper price. To achieve this my clothing will be a lower price than usual clothing is so its more available to more people. This is because not many people are fortunate to be able to buy high end clothing so I wanted to make some clothing that they can still purchase that isn’t low quality What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? Genre: street/casual wear. The clothing fits more into these category as its not meant for a certain occasion unless you want to wear it. This gives flexibility for the clothing as you will be able to wear in at any time as its normal clothing. What sort of product is it Content: my product is clothing that people would wear at reasonable cheaper prices. I would put designs that are original to my own brand. I feel like my designs could be wearable but not as a high end clothing line so I decided id make it cheaper and more available to others. The clothing has to backstory to it other than I wanted to make a clothing brand and use my artwork as the designs What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here Research & Planning: in the planning I decided that my plans were going to be original and include no known characters. I have changed that since then as I wanted to include my more complex logo which includes known character but I feel like the design goes well on the back of pieces of clothing. My research helped to see what price range more high end clothing is and how it looks. This helps to see what prices I should have and see how far I should go with a design. Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea (be specific to certain parts) Audience: my primary audience is unisex teenagers as it will appeal more towards them as its more street/casual wear that teenagers would usually wear in general. My primary social status is needs driven and psychographic is middle class as my clothing fits both of those category’s the most and goes well with their style. Although these are primary anyone will be able to wear the clothing. Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person? Legal & Ethical Considerations: my clothing will not include any offensive material and if I have a concern that may be offensive I shall research to make sure I have done it correct for example Japanese lettering to make sure it doesn’t say anything offensive and its says what it is supposed to. My clothing will not be restricted towards younger people as it will contain nothing that they cant see/wear for example my clothing will not include things like swearing, nudity, racism and anything else that shouldn’t be there. My clothing will not include anything to offend and social groups, ethnicities or any social group as my clothing is just characters and animals/creatures, which don’t affect any of these. I am using characters that are well known in one design from multiple different tv shows or character designs. I will make sure I am able to put these on a shirt by contacting the companys that own the characters to check if im able to use them. My clothing will be original and will be significantly different than other clothing.
  • 2. Proposal 2 Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
