My FMP idea is tocreate a musicvideo for Nascar
Aloe’s songego.
Why have youdecided to makeit? Because when we last did the musicproject, I
really enjoyed creating it andediting it together. I
chose to usethe track of nascaraloe ego because
I enjoy the songandI have been visualisinga
music video for the songfor a long time and how I
would makeit, I also just visualisea lot of the
music that I'm listening to intovideos.
What aboutyourproject makesit importantto
you?
I like to edit the videos togetherbecause that
where I can really put a lot of creativity and a lot
of effects intoit andalmostshow off what I can
do

My main influences for my music video are other
music videosandeffects andthe storyline of the
video. Other research is locally basedlike
backgroundsand appropriateareas for recording
footage. I am also talkinginspirationfrom the
nitro cell music videoby City Morgue with
drawings overlayingthe video. As well as nascar
aloes songdegenerate and the colour scheme and
the effect of the camera racking nascar aloes face
which creates interesting effect with the strange
movementof nascar aloe’s movement. There are
also influence from different stylesof music and
thosevideos like apolloislame “holdontome”
with the runningshotof apolloislameand his
friends runningdown the street chasingafter the
camera and A$AP Ferg “floor seat” because of the
constantflow of the videoand the very smooth
transitionsand the paper overlayingeffects and
how the faces can be distorted with a cut out
paper effect. Also, the city morguemusic videofor
the electrical experience with the thunderin the
backgroundandthe way the title of the songis

A dark andmenacing tone with a low mood, the
style of the video will be vhspunk mixed with rock
andhip-hopelements. The videosfocus wouldbe
on the singularactor but slowed downshots and
normalime shots.

Because it fits the music andthe style of videos
made by the artist, butI am alsoemployingnew
ideas into the footage andchangingthe style but
still holdingontothosecore characteristics
