The document provides an overview and instructions for a training session to prepare first responders to help students using the new MVConnect self-service student portal. It includes an agenda that outlines demonstrating the portal functionality to first responders, allowing time for them to practice, and addressing any questions. Key aspects that will be covered include logging into the portal, the various tabs and resources available, accessing financial information and registration functions, and a reminder that some areas are still under construction. First responders will be prepared to be the "first line of defense" to assist students as they learn to navigate the new self-service system.

Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit 2011 presentation on the value of paid discovery and requirements gathering at the start of Drupal development projects.
It’s counter intuitive, but if you want your salespeople to challenge the status quo and create value with discovery questions, I believe they first need to know the answers before they are able to ask the questions.
Why? Imagine you’re directing someone to a destination: They’ve misinterpreted your directions, and they are now lost. How are you going to get them back on course when all you have are written directions?
After working as a business partner at one of the largest question based sales methodology companies for 5-years, it was my experience that most salespeople find themselves in the same dilemma when they try to direct customers to value with questions. The customer’s answers never follow the sequential nature of the questioning model, because it’s too inflexible to adjust to the fluidity of a business conversation.
To get customers back on course, salespeople don’t need better directions, they need a map. If salespeople, for example, know the answers behind the questions, the answers will paint a picture that salespeople can use as a map. With this map, they can guide customers with directed questions to unrecognized or misunderstood problems, and thereby, create value for their product.
Making a website is more then making pretty picture and some sales jargon. You have to fully understand the project, your audience, current traffic trends and the even more important – the business goals before every writing a line of code.
The Sales Growth Hub welcomes Mike Faherty, Founder and CEO of ProSales Connection, where he will discuss how to get the most out of sales meetings.
Getting the meeting with a prospect is only part of the battle. If you don’t know how to execute the meeting to extract the information you need in order to qualify the prospect and generate a lead, you will not be getting the most out of that extremely valuable time.
In this webinar, we will show you exactly what you need to do in your sales meetings. You will not only get better results, you will look like a rockstar in the process.
Doug Johnson breaks down the best presales practices to implement right away in a breakout session at the Acumatica Partner Summit 2015 in Long Beach, CA
This is a digital strategy brand hands-on tutorial/workshop I never ended up using. Made in 2006 for OMG.tv. I think it's a pretty good place to start when looking for an online strategy/social media play.
Speakers:

Ken Barrett, student experience product manager, Tribal
Students want more choice and flexibility, but technology moves so quickly. What can institutions do to offer the best possible student experience through technology whilst remaining relevant and cost-effective? Rather than investing in ‘the latest innovation’, a student engagement platform that continuously updates with the latest technology (such as voice activation digital assistants or AI) means you don’t have to back a single tool that could become outdated within a couple of years.
This interactive workshop discusses the links between students’ digital expectations vs reality and what universities and colleges are doing about it. There will be contributions from student experience directors, sharing their experience of creating the conditions necessary to enrich the digital lives of students through open, integrated and future-proof technologies.
Most importantly, please share your experiences and the strategies you’re employing or looking to employ to ensure you remain in touch with your current students and those thinking of studying with you.
