2. POLITICAL DYNASTY
Political Dynasty- A political family (also
referred to as political dynasty) is a family
in which several members are involved in
politics particularly electoral politics.
Members may be related by blood or
marriage; often several generations or
multiple siblings may be involved.
11. ADVANTAGE OF POLITICAL
DYNASTY
Advantage:
Longterm policy and/or projects like
infrustructure can see being finished. problem
only is if it bears good fruit for the people.
if it does produce something good for the
people. having that dynasty rule for longer is
actually (can be considered) an advantage.
12. DISADVANTAGE OF POLITICAL
DYNASTY
Political dynasty is a well known method of
politicians in the Philippines wherein the members
of the family is made also a member of the
government in order for them to not lose power
but to gain more power. This act is an unfair and
unjust because the government is not a business
that a family can run by themselves, but the
government is for all and other people should be
given chances wherein they can be the one that
leads a community.
15. The 1987 Constitution of the Philippines states
in Article II Section 26: "The State shall guarantee
equal access to opportunities for public service,
and prohibit political dynasties as may be defined
by law." According to the Philippine Institute for
Development Studies, placing limits on political
dynasties aims "to regulate self-serving and
opportunistic behavior and to promote effective
and accountable governance".
