Key Responsibilities Handled:
In charge of overall activities of Purchase department.
Responsible preparation & Execution of purchase order and sending the same to supplier.

Interaction with, Finance& Accounts Dept release the payment to the vendors as per supply

Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
Execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor and co-ordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure that all items are
delivered to site/store on time.
Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms,
deliveries and services with suppliers.
Negotiate for best purchasing package (in terms of quality, price, term, delivery and service)
with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.
Adhere Purchase and issue order in accordance to specification.
Developing reports on procurement and usage of material for top management.
Single-point of contact for entire material functions including purchase of items related to

3. Additional Responsibilities:
In charge of overall activities of Store department.
Exposure in Maintain Material Storage & setting up the locations.
Inventory Controls – We follow FIFO method.
In case if any rejection materials from stores interaction with user department get the
report and send back to the vendors.
Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification
and documentation.
Implementing Standard Operating Procedures in store.
Store process was implemented and adhering the same.
Issue timing was introduced to all concern departments to follow the process.
Achievements:
Manage Purchasing Department in absence of Purchasing Manager for 6 months, and handled
the Outdoor catering successfully in the year 2007.
Pre – opening team handle the department alone and successfully achieved the budget of Rs.
3.8 cr for operating supply and closed the task within 5 to 6 month in the year 2011 - 12
Food cost was very high before contract it was 40% to 45% and it was reduced to 24% to
26% after finalized contract. (M/s Sterling Holidays resorts India Ltd.)
Appreciation got from RM & Purchase Head for controlling the food cost and brought the
food cost down.
Store was set – up like a super market and got an appreciation from MD, RM & Purchase
Head.
Vendor meet conduct for first time in Sterling Holidays Resorts India Ltd. for finalized
contract vendor in the year 2015 - 16 and it was success RM and Purchase Head were
appreciated.
Finalized contract for the year 2014 – 15 for Ooty resorts (Fern hill & Elk hill) reduced the
cost from 16% to 18% over all compare to last year.
Finalized contract for the year 2015 – 16 for Ooty resorts (Fern hill & Elk hill) reduced the
cost from 10% over all compare to last year.
Responsibility given to finalize contract for the year 2014 – 15 for Yelagiri & Yercaud resort.
Successfully made contract and reduced the cost from 10% to 12% over all compare to last
year.
Responsibility given to finalize contract for the year 2015 – 16 this year also given
responsibility to finalize the contract for Yelagiri & Yercaud resort. Successfully made
contract and reduced the cost from 8% to 12%.
Saved more than 16 lakh from all 4 resorts in the year 2015 – 16.
Pre – opening team in Grand Mercure,Mysuru within 4 months opened the Hotels 2016 - 17
